@fusion23 gosh! congrats dude!! how did you transmit your passport to the vo? vfs or via dhl? If you sent via dhl with a prepaid return envelope then i think you won't get a pick up mail (i am not entirely sure about this). It's if you sent via vfs that you get a pum (i stand to be corrected).

@specialrq (i hope i didn't misspell this), you can't edit your EE profile anymore once you receive ITA cos it sorta stays locked unless you decline the ITA. what you should do is to fill the correct info in your eAPR and mention it in your loe that the EE profile had a mistake and you made the correction.

@bimpsy, yes you would need to upload your child's passport biodata page and any other page that has stamps and/or visas during the eAPR but you won't need that just for creation of your EE profile.

@esosa4real, congrats! I am not well versed in the change of status from single to married while in the PR process. However, I suggest that it may just be simpler if you do get married soon and then create your EE profile as married. This will drop your crs since she doesn;t have an eca or ielts yet. You can consider getting her eca done asap as well as registering for ielts (maximise all spousal points possible). Evaluating the equivalent of her degree is different from the requirements for licensing as a mls. So, iqas or wes should evaluate her degree as a bachelors equivalent. If her school is one that has issues with evaluation (as per long processing times, issues with the office in charge not "receiving" verification requests from wes, etc), you may consider iqas as the rate limiting process at the school is sending the transcript and attached signed form. If it will be easier and faster to get her transcript, then iqas is your best bet. Cheaper and shorter processing time.
Dupyshoo's suggestion is also quite apt. Get your ITA as single now, make sure your pof is enough for a family size of 2, let her get her eca done and ielts in d mean time and when you are submitting your eAPR, you add her details. Bear in mind that you'll have 90 days to submit your eAPR. As long as your crs does not fall below the draw score with the addition of your spouse, your application should be fine accompanied by a detailed loe.

@maternal, you are a Canadian citizen. Lots of people wanna migrate to Canada same as they wanna migrate to Australia and other countries with well structured migration programmes. Its nothing new and has always been that way. So, I wonder why you are expressing surprise. Were you born Canadian, are your parents Canadian or did you migrate to Canada?

Your question was about passport request and I answered you with an example for it, not application duration. The gentleman applied through EE was requested to send his passports in July, no further documents were requested. He did not get it till December 2016 with the visas and COPRs. I got my passport request in March 2015 and got the passports and COPR back in April, 3 weeks later. I landed here June 2015 through FSW. I perfectly understand your question, it's left for you to understand the answer

Finally got my IELTS EOR yesterday after over 12 weeks, my result was upgraded from LRWS 87.576.5 to 87.577. I updated my express entry profile, but I didn't see any improvement with my score, is this normal?
Also, are we to notarize all the scanned documents to be uploaded when submitting ITA.

Also i want to get a reference from my current boss but he cannot write the letter on a letter head as d company rule forbids it.

Also, do I need to add pages of previous passports showing stamps as well or just the current one. Though the previous passports for both of us have some travel history we claimed... If so, do we just scan all in one document and include both data pages?

You need to upload a document. If you read the instructions carefully they stated you should upload imm form if your circumstances have changed. Some people just write a letter and upload "stating their situation is the same, and has not changed since they submitted their application, and that they will be sending out their passports as required asap" although I am unsure of what your letter states, but I am guessing it is the same? If yes then you should do the same.

I know of a case that didn't even take a month. This was many months back when EE was still fast,especially avo. Currently avo is super slow with march, April, may, June etc applicants still waiting. You are surely lucky. I guess your security was completed fast. Do you have vast travel history?

Congrats to you. This is a well deserved New Year's gift. Funny you are asking if this is good. Your application has been approved!!! 99.9% the final step is stamping your visa and printing out your COPR.

Please use dhl, as vfs is slower and less expensive while dhl is faster and of course expensive compared to vfs. Unless they have changed now, as per new year.lol
If you are not in a hurry vfs is the way to go.

This is surely one of the fastest from AVO.

I already have an ITA, what is left to complete my application is Pof. I have my funds in a Gtb savings account, and the bank has refused to write a letter in cic's format, all they are willing to give is a 6 month account statement which I fear isnt sufficient enough. Has anyone had the same issue? How did you work around this situation. Thanks.

Please members of the house. I have an MSc and a Bsc certificate. Can I have just the MSc evaluated by WES without including the BSc or WAEC result? I have used the free tool on WES website to determine the Canadian equivalence of my MSc alone and it was retured as equal to Master degree in Canada. Is it compulsory to evaluate the BSc or even the WAEC result alongside the MSc before the evaluated MSc can count for me? Please somebody should enlighten.

And my staff salary bank statement will be short of 3 months to makeup the one year work experience I'm claiming cuz I was paid in cash before I opened a staff salary account. Also if I want to add my nysc I was paid in cash through out the one year. Any hope for me? Please I need your advice from experience and what you all think please. Thank you.

CIC only asked for reference letter from employers past n present. It depends on you if you want to add payslips and supervisor or employer business card.

Only employment reference letter is what is needed, but if you have d Ida's scan dem along with the letter n upload, if you don't scan ur employement letter
