This is what I call real hustle, unlike most ladies becoming Makeup Artists overnight. May God continue to protect you, hubby, lil angel and your family in general.

''Aje'' shall never depart your business. ''Atajere oja, apamowo owo''.

Why do people buy tickets through wakanow when you can easily buy directly from the Airline's website, usually at a cheaper rate. If you must use wakanow, you should only use it to compare prices before proceeding to buy from the airline's website.

Good day house please I have a question, I just got a postgraduate research scholarship from university of sydney. I want to now apply for 574 visa. My question is since I finished my msc from a UK university do I need to write IELTS?
Congrats on your scholarship, I bet you are really smart. I guess you wouldn't need IELTS any more since you have already scaled the hurdles of admission and scholarship application. I did my MSc from a UK university also, however IELTS was a requirement for admission and scholarship but not for 574 application.

Please i need advice on how to go about my medicals? How to get my HAP ID and the procedures on medicals
Go here: https://online.immi.gov.au/account/register
1. Create an ImmiAccount.
2. Complete all the required questions asked.
3. Generate your HAP ID.
4. Have your HAP ID handy and Call Fatayi Williams Clinic (if you are in Gidi) to book an appointment with them.
5. Fatayi Williams will tell you how much it will cost you.
6. You'll do your medicals at Fatayi - they will give you directions on how to complete your radiology checks.

This is based on my experience some months ago, I'm hoping it hasn't changed much.

Hi I was wondering if it is okay to use coperative society statement in addition to fixed deposits and bank account statement ( all from one sponsor) for my SVP both at the school and embassy ( if the embassy requests for evidence of funds)
I bet you will be fine with all those as long as they collectively have the funds required by your institution.

Well i dont mean just exchanged automatic lik that, bcoz i heared with naija driving licence you will still need to write driving exam etc...
Will i get same privilage if i hv international drivers licence?
Coz the process of getting a naija drivers licence now is more difficult than geting Aussie PR grin
Congrats on your visa's approval bro, good luck with the steps ahead. Yes, you can use the international drivers' licence in place of Naija own. I have a friend who uses his.

[...]better still futuredon, for how long does it takes to get msg from embassy in south, do they call? I lodge last week fri.
No worries bro.

Here is what they have on their website (assuming you "frontloaded" your medicals):

Student Assessment Level 2 15 working days
Student Assessment Level 3 3 months
Student Assessment Level X a.k.a SVP 10 working days

They usually contact applicants through email, so keep checking your email religiously while you enjoy some bottles of origin.

Ielts is required even if u don't use it to get offer letter(CoE) whc I doubt for cos diploma is subclass 572 whc is assessment level3....read well from d immigration web page
Sadly, you have just thrown him/her into a more confused state with your response. akinke, this issue has been discussed on previous pages. Please read up or scan through my posts to find the pages. Overall, there is no ''YES'' or ''NO'' response to your question as such requirement differs across institutions.

thank you so much for d time taking to respond to my previous questn...m
d questn is 76: where it is stated that about your family unit whether or not intend to accompany u to oz?
is there any advantage or disadvantage for doing it or not! thanks!
You are welcome. Are you married with kids? I guess the family members they are referring to is your wife or wives and kid (s) but not bro, sis, grandmother etc.. If you are not yet married and do not have kid (s) yet, your answer will be ''No''.

lastly qestn 50: is there any penalty for not putting any family unit DRE?
thanks in advance bro.
Bros na wah o, you no state the exact questions nah, no worry sha, I don go read am on the form myself.

83: I guess "Yes" because you may have to, as part of the requirements for your course. You might want to go through your course listing again.
84: Your answer will be "Yes" since you are studying aged care & Nursing. So thick "Yes" and state the full title of your course in the space provided.
85: As child care training is different from aged care, your response should be "No".
50: Again, I no understand your question oooooooooo. I no see anything like "family unit DRE" for here.

Hehehe!

The more you look the less you see lol. You mean the Northerners at Hajj Camp area yea?

How about the BDCs like Sulah inside the airport?
They are legit. Most, if not all, of the BDC with physical office address (not the ones ''loitering'' around) are legit. Some of them would even stamp whatever currency they are selling for you, just to be sure you don't come back with bad currency you bought from another provider.

It is better to call them directly (even if you applied through an agent). That's exactly what my homeboi did few months ago (yea, same UC). 1 week is too long for a CoE mehn.

Were there additional charges? Do you know if it's the same exchange rate across all banks?
There is usually a flat 1500Naira for international ATM withdrawals and 3AUD charged by the OZ bank whose ATM machine I used. From my experience living elsewhere, I think there are slight differences in the exchange rate across banks. For instance, GTB has been rumored to have slightly higher rates.

You can bring food stuffs like the normal garri, crayfish and dry ugu or bitter leaf... Even egusi but you have to grind whatever you need in Naija and seal it in a transparent bag and label it...but you won't be allowed to carry red oil or any liquid material
Bringing foodstuffs into OZ is as easy as ABC if you follow the guidelines of my boss tonybunor.

@Bossladymo, pls do I need PTA, as my ticket is an e-ticket? And hope I will be able to withdraw with diamond Visa card in Australia? Cos am kinda scared so as not to be stucked or stranded over there.
Let me answer for bossladymo, you do not compulsorily need a PTA if you can afford to buy from the a b o k i s (aka blackmarket) as getting it from the bank (at official rates) can sometimes be a pain in the neck. Your diamond bank card should work, if you are scared about it, I would suggest you activate your internet banking before leaving Naija. By so doing, you would be able to transfer to someone here with a functional atm card.
TravelRe: General Australian Visa Enquiries by FutureDon(m): 11:25pm On Jan 29, 2015
bossladyMo : Yes, I'm confident that there won't be any issue concerning a visa label. Just the print out would do.

I used my Naija atm card (Zenith) yesterday - the exchange rate was 155.5 Naira to 1 AUD.

Thank you for your response. The IPRS form says only students presently undertaking their studies qualify for the semester 2 awards. That means alternative fundings will have to be sought for incoming students I guess. OK let's say a PhD student can manage to pay through the first year, do you think that chances are there to have scholarship or devise alternative interventions to meet his tuition? I pay regular visits to the website.
IPRS is unsurprisingly competitive. Have you looked at other RHD scholarships available to incoming international PhD students? I would like to think that your proposed uni has some other types of scholarship e.g. the tuition-only, top-up scholarship, etc. I thought it's dicey to proceed to pay the first year fees by yourself with the hope of tapping a scholarship by 2nd year except you are looking at significantly improving your scholarly capabilities before 2nd year (a.k.a publishing), which may not be realistic.

Based on my several months of experience applying for PhD positions, I would say the best person to talk to about funding is your proposed supervisor or postgraduate coordinator of your proposed program.

It may not come easily but if you pursue it religiously (and not give up), you'll definitely smile at the end.
