aflynvir: Hi all, had my interview today! 'twas a funny day. Yeah, met @samkunze! He knows my story but not al! I was driving from Ketu at 4:00am when the car I was driving climbed the BRT demarcator, so I was delayed for 2hrs mind and used my visa fees to tow the car out of the accident! The car was still okay. I parted with 11k total to tow vehicle and agberos. Somebody thinks this is a joke. 'twas out of my visa fee! Now I got to embassy by 7:45 due to the serious mess. Our Igbo friend at the gate was about to write LATE on my appointment letter when he changed his mind that he will try whether the visa old woman will still accept me! He sent security inside. Later he got an intercom call and looked at me and said you are lucky. That was like past 9, some other people that were late had been bounced. When you are bounced, sorry! That's all! I got to reception! It was a black guy that wa there so he asked are you the one that was late, I said yes! He sha collected my rzzxodocs. Then later the old white woman came for me! REMEMBER I HAD SPEND 11k out of it. Then she asked of money I started telling stories! She shouted "what! You should have told me earlier and I've registered you. I will cancel it and that's all for your appointment and all days have been booked in October" I was calm and God gave me confidence so I her that she should pls find a way out of it, after we argued she agreed to pay for me BUT HELD MY PASSPORT AND RECEIPT till tomorrow when I bring the money and wrote a note as gate pass! She then did biometrics and interview. He wasn't smiling but I must say she saved my day! That made her nice. Then she was like "what of if everybody does the same thing will she pay for everybody" I thanked her more. He asked EXACTLY THE SAME QUESTIONS POSTED ON THE FORUM, so thanks to TOPE, GODSON and all other NL peeps! This is not fiction o! I met @samkunze! 'twas just tragedy that became miracle. I will go and pay the German lady tomorrow.

Yes u need to fill it.the duration of ur course in months.

that says " I hereby apply for a residence Permit for ------ days/ months". Should it be filled?
Am asking because there is a an instruction before it that says it shouldn't be completed if made outside Germany. Please am I right of should I fill it.

Exactly she even ask me how many country share boarder with germany and I should mention them.if you prepare very well all this question are cheap but if not......

Godson201333: Yes so true,That is why every applicant need to read something before going for the interview...questions like what do you know about Germany looks simple but many people do not know it!

You are right.mostly when you lack confidence or when u don't know simple question.beleieve me if you answer all your question very well she will not give u any test.I think adequate preparation and prayer is the key to german student visa.

kelly4top: The woman only get pissed off when you cannot speak out to her hearing due to panic or when you kept repeating same answer always. As far as the interview went fine at the end, you will get your visa. I hope she did not give u test to write? Cos in my class we are supose to be 5 Nigerians but one was denied visa because he failed the test that was given to him by the Embassy after the interview. They wrote him back after 5 working days that his visa was denied because of poor perfomanance. They have even started settting exams for master applicants too. My guy on 16th this month going for master was giving test in his area of bachelors studies after the interview and i was shoked. I really dont know the criteria to avoid the test cos it's not everybody they set test for. Who among you wrote the test? Dont worry ur visa is granted. E better say make the woman mean and you get ur visa but make she no give any any writen test under tension.

Guy relax we will celebrate the visa by God grace.I understand how u feel because of how she handle the interview,but God willing we will all receive our visa.one lady in my class when the woman ask her about our prog structure the lady said sept 16(resumption date),and this lady in particular still has a lot of confidence that the visa will be issue.so brother let's be confidence and prayerful,her mood will not be a deciding factor.

dmitroika: hello house, tope, godson,kellytop and other nairalanders that applied to get a visa to Germany, pls which of you guys were interview by the elderly german woman at the embassy? i mean the woman that carries out the biometrics. how did the interview go? and were you issued the visa?

I was interviewed by the same woman.i guess she has alot to do within a short time.she prefered yes or no answer and she doesnt want ur compliment.

I was fortunate to understand her before the interview.even the receptionist there says her interview is very fast.

@all pls dont go to german embassy without adequate preparation.

Her question was based on the following
-purpose of travelling.
-study program,structure and curriculum.
-your sponsor(occupation)
-location of your school.
-intension after studies.
-accomodation.

I know it will be decline since the payment is not for school fees.

Have u receive ur own confirmation alert?

The school has already sent out there admission letter.I receive my own letter before the deadline(july 15).

Don't loose hope.go there very early anyday,xplain ur case to dem,some people book appointment without showing up.u can be ushered in.its very possible.sometin similar happen when I was there to open block account.as far is student visa,dey give dem some priviledge.expecially when d number of applicant for that day is not much.

Alison77: The problem here is getting another appointment because my school resume by sept 2.

There's no age limit.but I doubt if u can be admitted into msc prog with hnd and pgd.but u can apply to schools like private school if u have d cash or any school under uni assist they will evaluate u and inform u before deadline if ur result is ok or not.
What's ur present age?what's ur grade in hnd?where do u acquire the pgd?

I think u should come to lagos. And do it.cos it entails a lot.and d bank has to send and alert to u and d embassy.so if u send it ursef which embassy will dey forward d embassy copy to? Lag or abj embassy?for logistic reason I think u should come to lagos embassy cos that's where u will be interview

Just submit my block account details today,d iboe guy at the gate really suprise me today.

I think they respect people that come for long stay visa more than short stay visa applicant.

The queue was much and he was just asking any student here,pls u don't have to join d queue,we are Only 4 in number and were allowed to go in without stress.
