Peter even recommend Paul's Writings and called them scriptures in his later years. 2 Peter was written when Peter was already old and approaching his death.

Jesus also rebuked the disciples after commissioning them and found them fishing in John 21.

He was referring the Cornelius episode in Acts 10. He even narrated the event during this same meeting.

The Bible was not originally written as a book for religion Get it right. So, there's nothing personal about the writings as far as the writers were concerned.

The Israelites were just simply recording their histories for their next generations to learn from . Nothing more, nothing less. Hence, there are no unnecessary assertions to make someone look good or bad, but to truthfully tell history to their children..
