The first recorded history of the Jews was written in 1200 BCE. Josephus wrote only between AD 75 and 79. So, what points are you trying to make? Over 1,000 years of Jewish written history contained nothing about Samaritans because that time they were none existent. The word 'Samaritan' came into prominent use during the days of the Pharisees and Sadducees (about the time of Jesus).

Just give us a text dating back to Moses' time that clearly proves the existence of Samaritans at the time. You don't need to post links. A screenshot would do. Don't tell me to start researching on something that does not exist.

Anyone can put up a blog you know? The story rendered about the Jews in that blog referenced the biblical texts as the source of its information. The purported story about the Samaritans on that same blog has no source.

I have explained how the term 'Samaritan' came into existence, and also established that no Israelite was ever called a Samaritan. I also established that there was no Samaritan in Moses' days. Israel had not even become a nation in the days of Moses. And, no Israelite was ever called a Samaritan. The Israelites actually had no dealings whatsoever with the Samaritans. Even during all those days, nobody in Israel was ever called a Samaritan. This was not until the king of Assyria took the original inhabitants of Samaria away to Assyria and brought captives from other nations to live in Samaria.
