You cannot make money from agriculture using manual labour.
If your price is not competitive, your business will close down.

If manual farming was profitable, people will not be leaving their villages to come and ride Okada in Lagos and Port Harcourt..

You will not improve per capital income by employing people to do manual labour on a farm because the farm will most likely not be efficient which in turn would make what ever is produced more expensive and this would lead to importation/smuggling of cheaper products which will ultimately kill the farm and make the people that were hired unemployed... Back to square one.

Reducing unemployment is why the Nigerian civil service is bloated, inefficient and consuming more than 50% of the budget.
Reducing unemployment is why the Nigerian government keeps building new sub standard universities.


Nobody starts a business to reduce unemployment, rather when a business is started with growth and profitability in mind, unemployment would reduce.



Look at the list of countries in which depend on agriculture and see that they are all poor countries...



Then when you look at the list of high earners from agriculture, you would see that they are highly mechanized.

If mediocrity is harnessing an area I have an obvious advantage in order to build and produce a system that will further impact and solve a major economic and social problem for my country, then I am at home with it.

Why should u pay tax? What does the government do for u to demand taxes? Come to the north and see how serious the government take the masses. Roads are topnotch, local contractors are involved in projects, people are on well defined and functioning scholarships... Job opportunity to communities .every rep, senator is expected to at least employ 3 people from each LG to Abuja. And u are talking about taxes when youths in the communities still repair roads and build bridges...
You don't pay bail here or find police or road safety checkpoints.

I saw a post up there saying the troubled northeast has better igr than southeast... I bet he has never lived in northeast. These people have light atleast 18hrs a day yet they don't pay for light. .electricity tarrif in the northeast and southeast are poles apart. Not to talk of the sort of money in aids and government intererventions from all over the world.
