I know his conviction will be overturned on appeal, the judgement at the lower court is a travesty of justice, a kid went missing in his church during service and he has to be convicted when no evidence link him with the disappearance of the boy. THanks to the appellate court. The man has suffered injustice. His earlier conviction is a mob justice and I hope the missing boy will be eventually found. 3 Likes |

I always fear going to banking halls in Osun, Ekiti and Ondo states due to these robberies especially in the small towns. I wonder why for years our police hasn't put strategy in place to make bank robberies in remote towns an impossible mission for these criminals. |

To know the mindset of Osibona the developer of the ill fated building, in an interview he granted a tv station, he said that he doesn't listen to the "so called experts" because they only know theory not the practical aspect, I suspect in the case of the collapsed building he might not listen to the experts he contracted for the job 4 Likes 2 Shares |

When this endsars campaign started last year, I was like instead of calling for endsars we should call for far reaching police reform, even after scrapping sars the same personnel who were in sars are now in full uniform exthorting youths suspected to be yahoo boys. From up down the police hireachy, they are soasked in corruption and ditto the political class who are supposed to initiate reforms in the force. If Nigeria is not weaned of corruption, the Police can't be cured of corruption. |

Ritual killings are being fuelled by nollywood movies where money rituals are portrayed as real. And with the level of illiteracy and ignorance, some people really believe killing a person and using any of the body parts or whole of the body for Ritual can make them rich, Scenes portraying killing for Ritual should be banned in our movies by the films and video censor board 1 Like 1 Share |

We are not being educated enough by our news media, fg has stopped payments for meters by electricity consumers, the new prices of meters just released is for the cost per unit of meters fg is giving out to the discos for onward deployment to unmetered consumers under the phase 1 of the natonal mass metering programme commencing soon. Phase 1 is the second phase of the programme after the just concluded phase 0 where about 1 million meters were installed across the country. |

We did not learn from the Synagogue building collapse, till today no one has been held responsible for for that mishap till the owner pass away. This Ikoyi accident has complicity of people at helms of affairs in Lagos state, the probe inaugurated by Sanwo olu is just to buy time till the dust settles. Osibona was influential that is why he couldn't be stopped by the monitoring agency, the labsca head is just made the fall guy, You can't be putting up such a gigantic structure in highbrow Ikoyi without knowing the powers that be in Lagos 1 Like |

Igbos believe their route to the presidency is another eight years of hausa/fuLani presidency with an igbo man as vice through PDP, in that 8 years the grievances of ndigbo would have been assuaged and they will be back in national politics and all the current hatred towards the north would have disappeared and so by 2031, Nigeria would have been ready for an igbo presidency. 1 Like |

If you lost your job before age 50, you can only access 25% of your pension savings after 3 months of job loss. On attaining age 50 and still without a job, you can now be put on monthly pension provided you have up to 500 thousand naIra balance in your pension savings. If you have less tha 500k in your pension savings balance, you will be given all you have in your pension account at once. You can still get another 25% on attaining 50 years even after the initial 25% after job loss, this is if you have more than 500k left in your pension account after the 25% is worked out |

Watching the match between 3sc and the Slovenian clubside playing on the much touted refurbished and transformed Adamasingba stadium with the pitch water-logged as rain falls is a disgrace. A newly refurbished pitch that has no water draining system in this modern era is disgraceful. And I wondered why watching the match on Tv what will be going on in the governor's mind with the players struggling to control the ball on that pitch. For the pitch, it is purely a waste of fund.
