Is it the total money available in ur sponsor account minus ur expenses for one year ( tuition fees, accommodation fees, personal expenses e.t.c)?

On the contrary, I think it is the total sum in your sponsors account less "HIS" expected expenditure per his other personal obligations eg. Childrens upkeep, PLUS any amount you have in your own bank account if you have saved towards your studies as well.

Onye oma: Filling for 2 years is approximately 50k dollars (#9m) while the acc balance of ur sponsors is 40k dollars (#6.4m).

You shot urself on the foot bro.

When filling next time,fill for 1 year and available cash higher than the expenses for 1 year...

I think he did the right thing as it will be an outright lie to say 1 year when the duration (2 years) is clearly stated on the letter of admission presented to CDHC. This will present a diligent VO the much sought after excuse to strike his application down.

bumfem: Good day guys. Are you sure our friends at CDHC are not on strike. Updates from them seem to have nose-dive since last week. If I am wrong pls correct me. I applied on May 6th thru VAC till date no news. I guess we send a spy to comfirm their activity for us. I pray our time to celebrate shall come IJN.

I am worried too especially if after so long we get bad news as in fiz1's case. When we desperately need some good news in the house to keep hope alive and strong, we heard about fiz1's denial!

I am not too happy when I see stuff like....."I have been a silent observer, I did meds 2 months ago and have just collected my TRV" - If you failed nko? Would you have told us. Some people try and fail but, they keep the whole house informed every step of the way so that others after them may learn and gain from their experience whether they succeed or not.

See me see trouble! You have your visa right? Don't fret. just make sure you have supporting docs on you when you meet immigration officials upon arrival at Canada (just as you will be ready/ prepared for US visa interview). Don't let the information you receive informally on this forum make you panick without just cause.

A lot of us are praying to get to the point where you stand now!!! Lastly, why not wait to see what the next TRV awardee receives? Don't make them cancel or tear off your TRV from your passport oh!! Those guys dey kolo often times and you will have yourself to blame for over sabi eventually oh!

dotman: @galala123, i am going for MSc Finance. I submitted to CDHC MArch 21st, gone for medicals and submitted my passport back and other requirments on the 11th of June, waiting for final decision.

They asked me to pay one year tuition and boarding which i have done.

Congrats. Is it a 2 year program? Mine is 16 months @ $25,000. How much did they tell you to pay?

Lastly, how did you handle accommodation?

Kindly follow what 2-chains did. Arrange your docs and know when to add extra attachments so you dont finish the application process with some docs on hand outstanding. You may not get another chance to add the docs after you finish.

There is a questionnaire form which ask if they are similar courses offered in Nigeria, bla bla bla. That one is to be answered too.

I think as a general rule, the LOI should be long enough to say your story, but interesting all the way to keep the person reading involved BUT like advertising, it should be short enough to pass the message within the time frame allocated to reviewing your app. I advise you do not go beyond a single page with between 12-14 character size so the person reading does not have to strain his/ her eyes. As usual, information provided here is my personal opinion and freely given without any responsibility on my part. You may sieve the wheat from the chaff. Good luck bros.

Read my reply nah! I just said you aren't meant to print out the forms. You would be asked for an electronic signature after you finish your entire application procedure. Just upload it.

The site has some instruction texts when you click the question marks beside the list of things to upload. Take time to read it. It gives instruction what to do at each aspect.
All online applicants are not meant to print out or sign any forms. After your application is complete, you would see a box for you to type in your name as electronic signature.

PLEAE NOTE: try to read all the information and every text you see displayed on the screen. They are very Important

If you read the thread closely, I believe you will find portions where your inquiries have been adequately dealt with. It's possible I guess but, you need to address why the person is sponsoring you while you have the time i.e at point of applying. You are running out of time so you need to act fast. Online application method is thus recommended.
