I wish Emma B too can scream witch hunt.

I wish Emma B can rent f00ls to wear different tribe attire and carry placard to say justice for Emma B.

I wish Emma B can get ridiculous injunctions challenging those beating that they also stole from their mother's pot.

If you give Saraki a fair hearing despite.tracing billions into his account why won't Emma B deserve fair hearing.

The only difference between Emma B and Saraki right now is that Emma B did not steal enough to hire 100 SANS.

Dansuki went to ecowas court to challenge the Federal Govt holding him for months despite tracing billions on naira shared.

I say no to jungle justice untill we can start treating politicians the same way.

I agree with 1 &.6,some women stupidly stay with abusive husbands, some after their families come to take them still return, some where aware of his nature during courtship but choose to ignore, if a man slaps you during courtship, forgive him,and provoke him some more,if he repeats it,run and don't look back, all men are not the same, some have short temper and can go into rage like loosed dog, such people have a demon in them waiting to be unleashed, and such are.those that can kill in the moment of anger, they destroy things when they are angry, men are physically stronger than women, under no circumstances should a man hit a woman, even if she provokes you, leave until you are calm
And the men should sing "one love" if the woman goes physical on them first ? undecided
Sometimes the way some of you reason can only be compared to that of an IQ of a third world rodent. grin
Women and men should respect themselves .
It's akin to a country like Iran launching a military attack on any American interest - That's a declaration of war my friend.
If we agree that men can't beat women who crosses the line then we should outrightly hate every nation that has gone to war against a weaker people - the truth of the matter is , don't start the provocation of a stronger entity to a physical or to a high emotional side , they will bite back. grin This is human nature my friend.

Yes ! If my child crosses the rubicon several times with light warnings and all mouth warning he will get the message after all when he grows up the same society won't bart an eye in throwing him into jail if he comes short of the law. The ruin of every nation starts from the homes of its own people.
My elder sister's first child tapped a woman's ass in a private school where they don't beat them and the woman refused to report to the school authority and the mom went bananas on him and he got the message.
Yes I'll beat my child with all love and anger then the corrections will come.

You'll need to be a woman to understand the pains married women go through. Don't tell me I don't know what i am saying. What on earth would make a man attack his wife's disabled painful leg? You sincerely do not want to listen to that excuse. I know a woman who restricts her husband whenever he is going out because she knows that his going out means wasting the limited resources they hav. What about a woman who lost her left ear? What about the one that had acid thrown on her...and so many more.

What I understand is...we are all humans, we face pressures and I am going to disagree with you if you tell me that your reality is more serious than mine. It isn't. What is not wrong is wrong. No further explanation.

The reason I am not going to agree with your 'fact' is because I can also argue that for every time a woman initiated abuse usually verbal, it is a man's fault. It could be due to certain actions of his etc. However I am not going to go into that argument with you because it is exactly what I am trying to avoid...the blame argument. I don't subscribe to it because it never ends and it does not solve anything. It has never helped to straighten perpetrators.

BTW I have nothing against the man's action. What if the woman continued her madness after the little force? It won't be the best to raise kids in such environment. Personally, I think the limit should be the second time if the first one was not severe. However I was hoping you would think otherwise based on your earlier submissionstongue.

Lol , I'm not making any excuse for any form of abuse that goes on in every home and I do not also agree that for every verbal abuse a man gets from his wife is entirely his fault .
If a man squanders the little resources left for the house upkeep there are better ways to call such men to order by reminding them of their duty but physically trying to stop him from going out from his own house at his own will is the silliest thing any woman would do to restrain a man from squandering their limited resources if he's a spendthrift by nature. In fact it is a disaster trying to stop him when his plan to spend has been already hatched awaiting harvest. What if he's even drunk at the moment ? You've not stopped his drinking habit but you want to cage him with the use of force? Lmao cheesy
Finally, if the force is applied and the woman is still hell bent on dragging on as far as you're willing to go , then you'll reacess your position and if there is nothing , then people like me will call it quit. Lest the beating becomes a habit. I'm not blaming victims of domestic abuse here but I'm simply saying that women with wisdom do not even give you that opportunity to go bananas on them , only the dumb ones does that.

In this case we're talking about a woman who doesn't attack a man but if the woman is the first attacker then the man can do whatver rocks his boat. Some men choose to walk away, others administer slaps to stop her while others engage their fists as if they're fighting an agbero in Oshodi. Whichever rocks your boat, you do. But beating up a defenceless woman can never be justified
Some women attack men emotionally by reminding them of their epic failures over some things they never wanted to remember again in their life and if you're the type that can't say things to match them painful words for painful words and under a great proximity you'll bite it will take a lot of restraint to leave but again if you're leaving and you get dragged back by the same woman while the bad mouthing continues - she will get a good slap that will reformat her brain cells into normalcy and the message would be sent out immediately. But trust me smart women know exactly when to say things to their husbands and boyfriends and get away with it.Only the dumb ones get beaten.

I do not care about gender but I do care about human.

Blaming victims of domestic abuse is na insult on humanity. Unless you understand their psychology, it is insane to think for them., Therefore your number is null and void.

Verbal and physical abuse are the same although one tends to be more severe than the other. SO I will undertsand a man who slaps his wife because she was 'verbally abusive' and i mean verbal abuse in its ordinary meaning noty some philosophical BS. I can also understand a man who hits his wife WHEN he caught her cheating (I mean immediate not some abuse that took time to plan). Those reactions are normal and human. I understand that humans have emotions and are capable of reacting to provocation. God bless you if it result to grievous bodily harm or death grin. However I also understand that any abuse beyond those normal human reaction is madness. Any one acting with outside normal human reaction deserve to be in jail for the rest of their lives. If I asked you to go and cook your food and you raised your hand, na then you know say I be confam omo oko. My great grandfather cannot help your case neither will my dad.

Toks2008, whenever you write, you do nothing but further your misogynistic views. Keep destroying our mor.onic youths, I pray none of them come close to me or someone I know because by the time I am through with them. They will search for you and ask you why you led astray.

You'll need to be a man first to understand the enormous pressure that comes with our nature.
Last year someone I know divorced his wife simply because she held him hostage against his will and bruised his face.
What I'm saying is that if he had applied a little force, the woman would have understood that there are curtain line you don't cross and expect not to see the demon you're trying to wake up. Now he's divorced against her own wish even with all the begging from relations from both side of the divide. If he as a man had set the record straight they would have created an avenue to discuss over it and ultimatum passed without resorting to divorce because he felt his ego was bruised and he's afraid that it will repeat again.
A lot of times women initiate the cycle of violence by going on the offensive strongly or subtly and you need to do what is necessary to bring her back into line else you'll remain miserable and helpless before her and this is what all women want . cool

Real women dont get beatings from their men - It's the dumb ones that do get a beating.
A real bad ass chick knew exactly when not to push the ultimate button of natural aggression from a man. A Man is like any other animal that defends his territory and his territory comes in different dimension of human existence , if you hit them where it matters most they will bite and reasonable women don't joke with that .

I guess Prof. Pat Utomi deserves that treatment, because he wined and dined with Buhari before he fell out the pecking order. I guess the FG decided to melt out such treatment to him because he had been spitting negative comment to Buhari govt since there were speculation in all quarters especially the media that he will be made a minister by Buhari before the Ministerial nominees comes out. Everyone were shocked when finally FG released the names and sent to senate. Prof. Pat Utomi was equally shocked and so disappointment to know that his names was not included, since then he has been bashing the govt negatively. I am sure if he has been included in the Buhari cabinet he won't say negative stuff about the govt. Since then he has not seen anything good in the govt. I guess that's why the Presidency stopped his speech because they knew he is there to bring down the govt negatively as usual with his mouth mainly because he is ever bitter since he was not made to be a minister in the same govt. But as for Ex-Gov. Ezeife, I really don't know his offence though.
You've said it all , this is a classic case of a typical Niger Delta sell out masquerading themselves as leaders . This is why our youths in the Niger Delta are taking up arms but guess what ; they kill themselves and their own people. It is only when our Southern leaders wake up to the reality that they don't need to pander to anyone in the North over national politics that's when their voice would be heard louder - shame on Utomi.
