BusinessRe: Access Bank's Poor Customer Service: Bad Management? by Gaskia: 11:44pm On Mar 12, 2012
Mojak: Aig is a 419. Honestly, nothing good will come out of this merger.

How can you just say that, its unfair to call people names, got a problem with him, then go write petition or at least say why he is 419

Complete 419, how would sanusi claim to have injected over N400B in IBPLC and then sell 75% of it to AIG's Access fraud bank for only N50B. Where on earth is it done? How would they close and sell over 100 IB branches to saraki's defunct SGBN and not expect a crowded bank. I hear they have started their OJC deposit drive again, they are behaving like they have liquidity crises. Omo na to take off from them O.
PoliticsRe: Presidency Warns Acn Against Disrespecting Office Of President by Gaskia: 10:38pm On Mar 09, 2012
Genuine respect is earned not forced out. Whether ACN says it or not. No one can respect a non performing or deceitful government. Let them conduct an 'unrigged' referendum let's see the level of respect PDP govt enjoys.
PoliticsRe: Sovereign National Conference: North Set For Showdown by Gaskia: 8:19pm On Mar 08, 2012
Water body is a continum. The effect of seismic activities, production, workover , compltion, spillage, flaring and others affect the connecting water from the high sea to the shallow water till the coast line land. This implies that the ND ppl are immediately and remotely facing the effects of deep off shore exploration n exploitation and as such deserve a fair share of the proceeds thereof. Their fishing, farming, transportation and habitable space are all affected by these offshore activities. So any part of the continental shelf ceeded to nigeria has a corresponding state within the enclave called nigeria. What we shd do is to passionately appeal to our ND brothers to please accept a revised revenue sharing arrangement for the sake of their brothers and sisters. We have no right to be arrogant in this appeal because we all need each other, if not today may be tomorow or next. We also especially in the north shd vow to reciprocate that by ending all sort of terrorism. We shd jointly respect the right of other zones like SE and other minorities to aspiring to lead Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Sovereign National Conference: North Set For Showdown by Gaskia: 7:45pm On Mar 08, 2012
Nigeria is defined and limited to a country with 36 states and the FCT. Any part therefore that is Nigeria must either belong to the FCT or any of the 36 states (this is constitutional). Therefore any part of land or water mass that is defined as Nigeria must be part of a state. Consequently, any onshore off shore dichotomy is either for a military buffer zone and not to define ownership of the area. 200 nautical mile argument with respect to derivation principle is political.
PoliticsRe: S-south Youths Urge Oil Firms To Relocate Headquarters To N-delta by Gaskia: 10:27pm On Mar 07, 2012
I can remember some years back when a certain military administrator in akwa ibom - capt adewusi said that the ppl of akwa ibom are not schooled enough to work for exxon mobil. He received a slap from an elderly woman. today someone in nairaland is calling that same state a bush , not good enough for exxon HQ. The last time I visited calabar and uyo, I was shocked and can tell you that they are the fastest developing federating states in terms of infrastructures, serenity and human quality. Anyone who cannot site his HQ there shd stop doing any biz there. Millions of other private companies in the world will be willing to go there and respect nigerians. Shd we relocate ASO ROCK from abuja because Boko haram attacked locations in abuja? There is no sane logic to support why their HQ's shd not be there.
PoliticsRe: S-south Youths Urge Oil Firms To Relocate Headquarters To N-delta by Gaskia: 8:11pm On Mar 07, 2012
Nigeria is a very hypocritic country. Whatever is of benefit to me is right while what benefits others and not me is wrong. We have caused the niger deltans to become militants. It's absolutely difficult to watch wealth taken away from one's backyard for too long while those living with the wealth die in penury. If the oil was in a major zone like hausa fulani or yorubaland. The headquarters would be located there except if it were the igbos. They are in lagos because the SS are seen as minorities and weak. I am already thankful to them for allowing these resources to be used for all of us. The companies shd relocate to those states immediately and develop them. If not done soon nigeria may suffer later. If they are afraid of the social environment why are they not afraid of the oil? Imagine someone talking about them not having xperience, I think that is a careless insult on our brothers. If it's true then the companies shd go there and invest in human capacity devpt. Every part of nigeria can produce quality man power. Let's stop behaving like the spent generation who are tribally polarized. If they move to SS, my folks from middle belt, north and west and east will not be prevented from working there. What are they monitoring from lagos and abuja in these information technology age. This is just like our minister of education sending his children to school abroad. How then will he feel the decay in the school environment?
PoliticsRe: S H O C K E R Governor T A Orji Has Sacked Half Of His Cabinet Member by Gaskia: 8:35pm On Mar 05, 2012
Orji may not be a literal illiterate but this action is worse than that of an illiterate. How do you sack ppl for ur own failure. It's an indication that u are not ready to learn. He reminds me of Alao Akala and Ayo Fayose. Note that igbos are some of the best brains in nigeria but like most other states, the best guys never emerge as 'winners' in a fraudulent political contest.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Vow To Attack South South Part Of Nigeria by Gaskia: 10:54pm On Mar 04, 2012
Boko haram attack ss? Sanusi and co should better call these boys to order or they will sink with them. Allah abhors killings and whoever is altering the teaching of the prophet to brainwash others to kill ppl under any guise is doomed. Sanusi and northern governors recent statements are emboldening the boys.

Though not an CAN supporter, I must be bold enough to admit that salami was the best thing to happen to nigeria to the dislike of anti_justice elements. I have no problem if he worked with some ppl to deliver us from evil. PDP should shut up or nigerians will sue them for N1000Trillion for failed and stealing leadership.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Sack Villas-Boas by Gaskia: 4:43pm On Mar 04, 2012
The board should have backed the coach to change the team. Lampard, kalou, cole, malouda, drogba, bosingwa, hilario and fereira have nothing to offer and are threatened. Whoever comes has this cabal to deal with. Even without a coach they are old enough to play well. They plotted AVB's fall. God forgive chelsea for our serial injustice against coaches' career.
EducationRe: Uniport No Be School by Gaskia: 7:58pm On Mar 03, 2012
Back in our university days, it was actually frustrating to have grades that were lower than ones efforts, sometimes discouraging coupled with economic and enviromental challenges. However, what matters is who you are convinced you are. If u were awaded a pass and you are convinced you are a 1st class stuff, never give up. Come up with 1st class ideas and inventions then you will be celebrated n rewarded by man and The Almighty than those with mere paper 1st class without meaningful contribution to creation. I like ur passion for 1st class, don't give up, but turn it into providing 1st class solutions like Gani Fawehenmi, wole soyinka, Bill gates, steve Jobs and many others. Wishing u the strength to carry on.
PoliticsRe: A Tribute To Our Late Hero by Gaskia: 6:58pm On Mar 03, 2012
Am not clamouring for sepeation. I clamour for nation with mutual respect cemented by geniune desire to be one not that of counter suspicion, distrust and hate. If we cannot guarantee these to ourself to a reasonable extent then we have no reason to deceive ourself by faking one nation. Also if ojukwu did not fight, we would not have known how dangerous war is.we would have fought many wars now that there are many sources of provocation.
PoliticsRe: A Tribute To Our Late Hero by Gaskia: 6:37pm On Mar 03, 2012
Its hypocritic to claim one nigeria and then make no effort to respect the feelings, the right to life, freedom of worship, the right to lead and be fairly led. I prefer smaller countries coexisting with mutual respect and economice interaction where nationhood is not artificial. Eg nigeria, niger and benin republic are not at war. The Almighty Allah abhors hypocracy. We are shedding to much blood on daily basis in d name of one Nigria. I prefer 100 nigeias with improved security to life, property and development. If we must remain one then let's respect one another.
PoliticsRe: A Tribute To Our Late Hero by Gaskia: 6:24pm On Mar 03, 2012
Anyone who gives up his comfort for a stand against injustice and oppression is dear to my heart. I respect Gani, Balarabe musa, soyinka etal. Ojukwu falls in this class in my mind. I shall forever remember him for his quest for equity, justice and courage. He is not known for his material wealth, or secretly sponsoring a militia. He openly fought for justice n equity. People from his place have reasons to celebrate him, I support them. He was not among those that looted us. He was a great leader. The injustice he saw and stood against is still there hence the clamour for SNC, resource control, state police, federal character, zoning and others.
PoliticsRe: Dialogue With A Critic - By Sls, 2001 by Gaskia: 12:46am On Mar 02, 2012
Sls had lost his relivance due to the fumbling economy created by his shallow and showmanship ideas. Just looking for what to hold on to as a drowning man, he has decided to fan the ember of northern sentiments for tribal support. He is a colosal failure. We need a soludo or remi babalola for rescue. U can't offer economic solution from the ideas of the islamic school of sudan.

Compiling such list is the simplest thing to do. You can't name all but you can simply summarize thus: IBB, OBJ, Atiku, Abacha, anenih, iwunyanwu, david mark and ibori.
PoliticsRe: "leave Our Country", Protesters Tell Obj In Senegal by Gaskia: 11:54pm On Feb 26, 2012
OBJ had never beeb accepted anyway. Even at home, his son rejected him, the people of Ogun rejected him and anyone annointed by him, house of reps rejected his nominee, the sane senegalese have rejected him. He only forces himself and wish on people. Like he forced yaradua and GEJ on the politically inept Nigeria. He is still pained over his ignoble 3rd and multiple term agenda. He wanted to be the mugabe and wade of Nigeria. Bravo to my senegalese comrades, OBJ is a political HIV and must be avoided. Only ppl with integrity shd mediate not shameless, greedy and dishonest looters like OBJ.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Sinks As Poverty, Joblessness Hit All Time High by Gaskia: 3:30pm On Feb 25, 2012
The poverty level is alarming, govt has no real data to work with. Imagine the 9
CBN rolling out monetary policies on false figures. Devaluing the naira based on fake figures, moping up 'excess cash' in circulation in the name of curbing inflation where there was no actual excess cash. The managers of our economy sit down in the offices and play with our economy using archaic and imaginary data. That is why CBN usually say inflation has reduced when u and I know that the power of the same amount of money in our hands is reducing by the day. CBN and finance ministry would tell us that GDP has grown but you and I are aware of the worsening standard of living. A combination of OBJ, IBB and GEJ have looted this country to a stupour. Now coupled with an egotic cum religious polarized CBN governor, I weep for my country.
PoliticsRe: Is 13% To Niger Delta Cause Of Northern Underdevelopment? by Gaskia: 11:40pm On Feb 21, 2012
Sanusi is not a creative economist. He is a reactionary profiting from a broadly uninformed populace. Prior to the application of the 13% derivation, was the rate of development btw north and south d same? NO. A socio cultural setting that is hostile to visitors and investors can not grow effectively. A settings where enterprise is loathed cannot develop. What are their governors doing with what they are so far given? What derivation does Anambra, Cross RiVer, Enugu, Ebonyi, Ekiti, Oyo, Osun and Ogun receive? It is this primitive n myopic mindset that he is using to kill our economy. How come he was releasing inflated subsidy monies without asking for harmonization of the approvals? This man is an irregular peg in a regular hole. He brandishes his shallowness and bigotory on daily basis.
PoliticsRe: Cbn Donates N25m To Madalla Bomb Victims by Gaskia: 11:10pm On Feb 21, 2012
I wonder why d NASS or GEJ has not asked this ustaz for score card. What has he achieved? He condemned a well thought out expanded window by soludo yet he created 'cbn extended guarantees for banks, AMCON which was actually soludo's idea has been wrongly structured, what's their effect in the general economy. Just today UBA, one of the banks he decided to spare is in the news having sold bad loans worth N100B to AMCON,where where these loans during the arrangee bank inspection that no one was allowed to defend. I remember when Lounge was sacked as 1st bank MD without ripple effect to the economy, now sanusi is shouting 2012 -year of Nigeria women just to make women shout and clap for him so that we forget his ineptitude. He has not told us how his poultry n hotel are doing. He is bereft of ideas, just a quota system cbn opportunist. I only blame nigerians for being easily deceived by lies.
PoliticsRe: Cbn Donates N25m To Madalla Bomb Victims by Gaskia: 8:45pm On Feb 21, 2012
GEJ is just scared of stiring ethnic bitterness but he must not sacrifice our general social justice for the sake of a fake peace and artificial one nation.sanusi simply has no idea on how to run a country economy aside propaganda, had no idea to push 1st bank when he was a quota system MD aside demarketing other banks. US and UK bailed out companies n today u can see those companies standing and performing their duties. Where are the banks he claimed to have rescued with trillions of our monies? He is a failure n an ethnic champ deceiving only the unenlightened. Causing unemployment, credit crunch and taking actions n utterances that divide the country furthet. He shd not just go, he shd be probed and sanctioned accordingly.

Sad to see a fellow human blow up like a piece of rubbish.
If he never went there, probably another would have died.
Sad to see how ill equiped our police is .
Sad to know your family is there mourning.
I saw a bold walking guy and the next second he was no more.
God , please have mercy on his soul.
Help us come out of this time.
Touch the soul of the heartless and restore our hope and safety.

Badang, some say you were stupid, some say you were naive while some say you were bold.
Whatever we all say, I think I respect you and I really wish it never happened.
May the Almighty permit you a joyful experience in the beyond.
You did not deserve this neither did your family and friends deserve to lose you.
Bye.
PoliticsRe: Cbn Explains Kano Donation by Gaskia: 7:46am On Feb 16, 2012
I have always said that the managemnt of any economy does not require an eratic personality. It's dangerous to any economy.
SLS was initially hounded by the pedigree of Soludo and decided to react beyond reasonable limits, took to the press spontaneously and played to the gallery on very sensitive issues. This conveys immaturity.

-If the banking crisis were as genuine as he made the public believe, why did he not allow the sacked CEOs fair hearing, at least an opportunity to explain.

-Which independent third party subjected the findings to scrutiny?

-Why is the inhouse CBN probe result not published after two years?

-All the bailed out organisations in Europe and US survived and are still existing as corporate entities, where are the bailed out Nigerian banks today?

- why spend trillions of monies that would have been used for infrastructural development on banks then you auction them to 'investors of choice'?

-Why 'inject' over N350B in intercontinental and sell 75% of it to Access bank at N50B and federal govt has only 15%, this is an inverse proportion an unethical.

-Immagine spending over N200B in finbank and selling it for only N6.00B where there were others willing to pay higher, why waste our money?

- Why allow Unity bank who was in a more grave position an opportunity to do public offer and retain her identity and deny others, why the double standard?

-Why is it difficult to convict any of the CEOs for actual 'stealing' after over two years of litigation, even EFCC is always going back to look for evidences? is it that SLS controlled the press and made us belief him?

- Can you immagine that over 17,0000 bankers have lost their jobs for issues that could have been handled differntly and actual culprits punished while the institutions stay? I think we could have actually bailed out those institutions if they were truly sick not the make beleif sick.

-On the Nationalised banks, he gave them a period to accept his forced partners then announced their liquidations two weeks before the expiration of the time, (this to me is sinister).

-Countries world wide are taking to Universal banking to deepen their participation in global business , soludo introduced it and you knoced it off because you do not understand the 'simple complexity' about it, that was why Olusegun aganga said ' our proplems ar not universal banking, we only lack the capacity to manage it's emerging challenges' if you dont know what to do, why not ask others in humility?

-One of the problems of Nigerian banks is that politically exposed persons and big businesses borrow and delay or refuse to pay, why did CBN not concentrate her force and power agianst the borrowers instead of the lenders. Some of the big borrowers are still free in politics and business without intention to pay but CBN chosed to spend too much energy fighting the lender.

- You have depleted the no. of banks who are equal opportunity employers and have opened islamic banks which is skewed to moslems.

-All the sectoral intervention funds in Agric, Textile, Power and Manufacturing has yielded no result because the economy is still in shambles due to you economic mangement ineptitude.

- A CBN gov is supposed to be the chief economist.

- You deceive the public as if AMCON was your idea, this was one of Soludo's 13 point plan to insulate Nigerian economy from accute effect of the global melt down. When he said we are insulated, he meant it because he had put up a plan which was already submitted to ministry of finance and NASS. I bet you, if he was there , our economy would have fared better.

-His comments about the country was positive so there was no need for foreigners to withdraw their monies from our NSE and eroding our wealth.

In summary, your ills shall stand face to face with you soon.
BusinessRe: Jaiz Bank To Open 13 Branches This Year by Gaskia: 7:11am On Feb 16, 2012
Then non interest bank principle is a deceit.

Consider this: I borrow N1.00M from a regular commercial bank at 20% interest rate for a year and I pay an interest of 200k at the end.

I also borrow same N1.00M from Jaiz Islamic bank and I make a profit of 500k then Jaiz bank shares my profit of 50 : 50 and I pay a shared profit of N250k.

Also know that Isalmic bank charges processsing fee, management fee and other assocaited fees inluding zakat. (look up the procedures of islamic lending).
Also Islamic bank does NOT SHARE LOSSES. They only share profit.

You are also expected in some cases to obtain a gurantee of a highly placed moslem like an imam or sheikh.
This put non islamic borrowers at a dissadvantage.

My concern is in case of a 'bail out' tomorrow, would they not be a row that our common wealth is used to fund a religiuos polarized bank?

All i wish to let you know here is that islamic bank lending is not cheap , sometimes it's more costly because you pay zakat and is not advisable where you make high profits.

It does not also allow you plan your repayment well because the rate is not defined from the onset, only the ratio of profit sharing.

SLS is unnecessarilly passionate about it because of he believes he should use his position to create an economic balance between north and south.

I doubt its viability.
