The man should not lie like lai, I heard him clear on Channnels TV when he said "by next week, we shall unbundle NNPC into 30 comoanies". Meanwhile I support the unbundling if it will usher efficiency but it should not be unilaterally done like the military junta. There is an extant law backing the current "structure or bundle " called NNPC , therefore taking this major action without engaging stakeholders like NASS and NNPC staff is a smack of incompetence , imaturity and tyrany. |
The NNPC is due for restructuring for efficiency but it has to be through due process. |
idee91:My brother I feel your concern about the generalization but I feel that though the child-sex-abuse saga is not a doctrinal Islamic tenet, over 90% of the culprits have been found to be Muslims and as such it is easy to belief that the Islamic community encourage this heinous practice, may be against the Prophets actual teachings. People are reacting to what the see or hear the Islams do and not what they should do. |
Good news for us, I pray for higher prices. |
Similarly, Dr. Abdulrahman Megida, who is a senior lecturer in UNIPORT, specifically demanded that his name be expunged from the list of INEC ad-hoc staff for the polls. According to him, “My name is synonymous to the All Progressives Congress and you know that the government here is PDP (Peoples Democratic Party). Based on that, I want my name to be expunged from the list.” So Wike is right, why chose a partisan lecturer to arbitrate or partake in an election? Neutrality is sacrosanct in this matter. |
Are they all seks starved. They should legalize bro*t*hels for themselves and leave the infants alone. We should query the Islamic hierarchy in Nigeria for the whereabouts of the Chibok girls. When we told them Chibok case was a hausa/ islam / APC conspiracy, they denied, now we are having clues....thanks to Ese Oruru's parents relentless fight. |
Willian should not hold on to the ball at all time. Loftus Cheek was rusty. |

obailala:A man who has books but does not read is not different from a man who has not. A man who has a large yam barn but dies of hunger is not better than a pauper. A hard stone in the middle of a river has a dry core like the stone in the desert. OF WHAT USE ARE 'ROADS' THAT ARE NOT MOTOR-ABLE OR MOTOR-ABLE WITH PAINS? why would you embark on entirely new roads when 'existing' ones are of no use...'this would be the wisdom of a fool'. GEJ took the FG all time tarred road record from 4,000KM to over 24,000KM and Foshola gave the testimony then The empirical evidence available as given by principal witness 1 ((PW1), Fashola) is 4000 to 24000 km in 6 years which means 20,000km in 6 years implying 3,333.33Km per year. PMB and Osibande have spent approximately 1 year, how many kilometers or old roads have they fixed and how many meters of new roads of the designed and constructed? |
Why are we so hard on Oliseh? How did Amodu, Siasia, Equavwon and Keshi end their relationship with NFF, it always ends in controversy and because the coaches want to keep their jobs, they take all the shit and are conservative with the press only for NFF to brainwash us through the press and hire the next coach. Why have someone like the sports minister not investigated Oliseh's claims? |
Sijo01:Even Falana validated this openly. Johnathan was so full of ideas.... TSN, BVN, name them. |
An Islamic Emir giving AIGs instruction in a clear crimininal and constitutional breach (human right) matter and Oby blind to see the abnomalies, acting instead like the media aid to Sanusi, where are her protesters? |
He did not rebuke the killers nor promise to make them face the law, he only said he will look into the root cause to ensure it does not happen again. |
Tallesty1:After being slow to appoint ministers, what happened to the budget? |
I personally do not understand why it has taken too long for the Sovereign state of Palistine to be. I am with PMB on this one but he should also recognise the right to self determination of any ethnic nationality who so wishes in Nigeria. |
waiting for Falana to go to ICC |
Elosky20:Does a maximum general take advise from a bloody civilian? Why couldnt they look beyond party lines when appointing ministers? They prefered Amaechi and Fashola because they sponaored elections with their state monies? |
Time to patronize Dr Gabriel Abalaka. |
The fight against corruption must be sustained to better our country but one major risk against the success of the fight is the constant fueling of the perception that the fight is sectional and selective. If a man stills cars, you ask the thief to return the cars in the state they were stolen but If a man received cars, you can only ask him to return the cars if you believe the source is ignoble. It is illogical to ask him to return money for the cars he received, you can only ask the person who gave the cars to return the money or the cars in 'manufactured state' if and only if the giver stole the money for the car or stole the cars. Please has PMB returned the bullet proof SUV given to him by Dasuki in 'manufactured state or the money since Dasuki allegedly stole the money? |
Aufbauh:Your economic sense is like that of Zimbabwe who decide to print more currency notes to fight 'lack of money' without taking into consideration the inflow and outflow of values through the permeable boundaries of the economic space. You say dollar is not our currency and should not be our business? You forget that we sell our crude to the international market in dollar and buy finished products (PMS, AGO and DPK) also in dollars. Because our government has not put our refineries in good stead or be able to create favorable environment for private investors to do so, it is our business to worry about the dollars. Your currency is the legal tender that you can exchange for values: What is our balance of trade level? We currently import more than we export at an alarming unfavorable ratio so the Naira is struggling against the dollar by the second. You first of all take the import / export ratio to a near equilibrium by exporting more or importing less through self sustenance (not by banning of trades because shadow economy will thrive) before you can say the dollar is not our business. The 198 Naira exchange rate is not real, it is fixed by fiat and is not a mirror of the dynamics of market. Also the 330 exchange rate is not real, it is a product of speculation. But whose job is it to manage market perception and by extension subdue speculation? The FEC, CBN, ministry of trade and investment, SEC, NSE and the various tiers of govt have a role to play in inspiring a consumption philosophy , but they have failed because the lack the insight and the will to do so. |
In the past you heard a lot of Nigerians say to public office holders: 'resign if you are not comfortable with service conditions or indicted as done in Europe and the US'. Now Sunny Oliseh has done it to show that what was on his mind was service, not position and money, as such no sit tight at all cost. I think he has my respect on this. While we criticize him, we should not blush over the points contained in his letter; 1) Undue interference in his job 2) Poor welfare for his assistants and players 3 ) (My own point): Excess politicking in our sports administration. For any coach to succeed, these points has to be thoroughly reviewed. Regards. |
Durandb3:The image is laterally inverted. The second is a mirror image. The shoulder in pic one is his left shoulder while the one in the second pic is the right shoulder. See the 'ogene' written on Phyno's top also inverted laterally also, the ádidas' logo in pic one is not in pic 2. |
I keep wondering why Halliburton scam is forgotten with all the evidence available; I keep wondering why the $10b Mambilla power project scam no longer exists, what of the $12b oil wind fall ? what of the Siemens ID card scam..... all the principals fingered in these scams are now APC and they are 'fighting corruption' |
Sheriff may not be a 'bad guy' but the perception surrounding him constitutes a liability to his party. |
That is how they have been blindly singing for their plain clothes and military politicians for years and leave the north as the poorest of the two divides in spite of their over 40 year maximum rule of Nigeria and its resources. Blind followership is the consequence of dead consciousness. |
I think there is civility in the bill, it tends to promote public decorum. Why install loud speakers outside your church or mosque? |
Why Does Zenith Bank Charge Cot On Savings Accunts Without Cbn Sanction? by Gaskia: 12:42pm On Jan 29 It is worrisome to see how a corporate giant like Zenith bank flaunts CBN rules with reckless abandon. Before 2016, COT was legitimate for current accounts. Savings accounts were exempted from COT charges but Zenith bank charged COT on every transaction on savings accounts going outside their bank. The charge this in addition to the CBN approved N100 per transfer. This is illegal and corporate misdemeanor. They were even charging N3 per mille when COT on current account had reduced to N1 per mille. This ill-gotten money will be declared as part of their profit in 2015. In 2016, because COT is absolutely outlawed, they have added the amount to the N105 and call it 'Transfer charges'. This is against the fact that all transfer charges are regulated charges as contained in the revised guide to bank charges sent by CBN to all banks including Zenith banks on March 27, 2013 which took effect from April 1, 2013 and is subsisting (REF: FPR/DIR/GEN/CIR/03/002). Customers complaints to zenithdirect on this have been ignored, they will instead send the account officers to manage the customers to accept the charges. We plead the CBN governor though a former MD of Zenith bank to prevail on them to reverse all the illegal charges to the customers in line with the anti-corruption policy of the current government. |
The Assassin of Assin, gruesome. |
I am a critique of the PMB administration, I believe they lack the competence to deliver and I yearn to be proven wrong BUT I believe speaking of a woman publicly in this manner is most uncharitable and should be discontinued. It is soft journalism taken too far and I encourage her to sue them. That she chooses to carry a 'hair do' for months could just be simplicity. She may be the non cosmetic (natural) type. We should not allow politics erode our values. |
