shawn5ng: Mehn you must really be a problem solver. Got crankshaft position sensor delivered to me yesterday. I was thinking of one big thing like that but to my surprise it was just small device. Bought 6k.Its the same 3MZ so no problem, next time bargain well cause in nigerian spare part terms ckp "no be market" for toyota, shouldn't have cost more than 3k. |
kolaide: A TOYOTA CAMRY TINY LIGHT WAS STOLEN AROUND KOBITI, MUSHIN AREA. PLS ANYONE WITH ANY INFORMATION ON THE SAID CAR SHOULD CALL THE FOLLOWING NUMBERS: 08055227867 OR 08183996439Most car snatchers would have removed ur plates by now, the only numbers that can help you now are chassis and engine number, good thing your car is green, I see you recovering it soon. Update your notice so it would not be sold easily. |
wealth123: I need a very neat car for N500k. It must be a miracle car because its real worth must be over and above this amount. If your car is not worth more than N500k do not bother. I prefer Toyota and Honda brands with automatic gearbox. The cars/SUV that may qualify are in the following categories:This should make Fp ![]() |

Ekavint: PLEASE HELP ME OUT: My Audi 80 Tiger Face car is not giving current to the distributor but has current in the starting coil and also in the electric carburetor. As such, the engine refuse to start. This problem started after my mechanic change my clutch disc. The vehicle is manual and has no sensor. What could be responsible and what do I do to restore back current into the engine system. Please give specific details of your vehicle. Engine type and year.( Tiger face ) I have no idea what that is. If your car uses a crank sensor have it checked, also check the igniter most electricians call it a "neck" |

shawn5ng: Thank you all for your response. My mechanic claim he could not find the location of the crankshaft position sensor . Any idea. You need a new mechaninc. |
CityNG: Where all learning together. ![]() |
lomomike: Good Nairaland people, I want you all to observe the bolded. I copied the quoted from the OP's post which was dated Dec 18, 2012 today is Sept. 24, 2014 and this advert is still up and running. All ye greedy and gullible folks beware of being scammed. The thing taya me o! And an old registered user (2011). |
CityNG: Also good to note that diesel engines do not produce vacuum.I bow my automotive head in shame, never new this |
Nice work, I love the way you took your time and took pictures. |
Price sir? Any engine or tranny issues? |
sam1dot2: This afternoon my motor Camry 2000 starts but no power to AC, windows, gauges, Radio, and radiator fan. Also I can not get the car out of park. Can anybody tells me what is wrong with my car? Please is very urgent. thanks in advanceThis happened to me 2 years ago in asaba when driving my camry, the solution was to check the harness under the front left fender(drivers side) I had some burnt wires and disconnected ones too. Start with your fuse box and work your way up to the harness under the mudguard the fender that takes all the wiring to the inside of the car. Hope this helps. |
(Stop buying cars that have had the mileage rolled back like on these Nairaland thread) you are on the Nairaland platform o! |
Costee: Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought you need to open up the transmision to get to the torque converter, and that by working on the coverter you must lose oil.@Costee You are wrong. Pragmatism What did you do with the oil once it was out? Most people would consider it a chance to properly flush the transmission. |
![]() lomomike: Lol, okay! That's gonna be a great city car you own bro, while all the big I's and V's are struggling for gas saving by turning off AC and ignition in Lagos traffic you go just dey enjoy cooleh.Like say u know every home should own one of these toys it will make sense |
. |
lomomike: Bro, that's one fuel repellant vehicle you've got. 85ltrs to 1,050km wow, I'm impressed but I guess its not gonna be very fun to drive on high speed for interstate journeys due to its weight and its small engine capacity. By the way, what's the engine's volumetric capacity torque and horsepower rating?Any thing above 120km/hr you are on your own! Its a 1.4 liter engine didnt really bother to checking the power ratings, but its really light you don't need a jack if you have a flat on the rear wheels . |
lomomike: Bro, there's something wrong with the bolded figures.Sorry very bad network in lagos tried to correct it earlier its 85liters I use on a 1050km journey saving 30% equals 25.5liters saved meaning Ill use 59.5liters if I use his product. |
samisparkle24: Bros,am not here to convince you,am no sale man.Am simply passing information that will benefit you.if you choose to ignore, its fine. This is a public forum and there should be checks and balances, if you are saying your product works best on generators fine, I will still buy your product, paste pictures of odometer and miles covered so we know what is obtainable on the 1st and 2nd use, this is about facts not assumptions of obtainable savings. |
samisparkle24: To treat a 45liters of fuel, you will need 10ml of XFT,which is 1k.each time you will refuel, you treat the number of fuel bought.let say,you refuel with 15 to 18litter,then you will treat that number of fuel with 5ml of XFT.So To treat 45litres, I would need 1k. I'm going to refill my tank twice on dat journey, which means I would need 2k worth of ur product. Pls note dat 2k worth of fuel is equal to 20.6litres. Ur product claims to save 30% of fuel after d 4th or 5th use, which means on d 2nd use I shouldn't expect much. 30% of 85litres is 25.5litres, meaning in total, I'm saving roughly 5litres which means I'm saving 485naira, which might not work until d 4th or 5th try. So spending 2k to save 485naira, do u think its really worth it? And dnt tell me its protecting my engine, cos its all going into d combustion chamber.... |
samisparkle24: Bros,XFT doesn't work like magic, its gradual, you are not expected to get 30% the 1st time you started using it,you should have used it like 4 to 5 times to get optimum result, yet it will still save you money on 1st usage. My fuel tank is 45liters. But this one that I have to treat 4-5 times b4 I achive 30percent save in fuel please explain more. And please how much does your product cost? |

lomomike: Very true, but to safeguard ones pocket from future leaks due to overpriced piece of toyota parts, I was recommending spacers after replacement of d sensor.Very true. Since there are no laws against it why not? My kia came from factory without any o2 sensors and peforms remarkably well on fuel. |
What's the current price of XFT 1 sachet? How many litres am I to mix it with? I want to experiment scientifically, I will buy your product and use it on my kia rio 2007 I usually use 850 litres to cover 1050km lagos to bauchi I'm in lagos now will be leaving by weekend you said 30percent right? That is i will save 225 litres of petrol meaning ill need just approximately 625liters of petrol to cover my distance. If it works I owe you an apology if it does not................ |
Buying a brand new vehicle is always the best option when it comes to owning an automobile, but one has to consider the manufacturer, I was driving behind one made in nigeria vehicle (will not mention names) and I was really dissapointed in the body of the vehicle, it looked dented in so many places and the paint work was terrible, but all the suspension parts were all new and shiny showing that it just came off the production line. Certain vehicle maufacturers are known for building vehicles that would hit very high milleage on the original engine and transsmision before any major work is done e.g toyota, honda, peugeot etc, Others tend to have failures in very early stages of use. My first toyota was a 1990 carrina11 it came @ 440,000km with the original engine and I used her for another 8 years and 150,000kms before I sold her she also did 7-8liters per 100km(high way driving), I didn't know what the inside of that engine looked like through out its use the only parts I replaced were the shock absorbers breakpads and plugs. So from my happy experience with my carrina11 I wouldn't see a reason to get a brand new car based on the efficiency I got on the used car. As much as a vehicle is as good as its maintenance there are a lot of bad eggs out there that came off bad from the drawing board, so ill advice any one intending to buy any car be it used or brand new to check user reviews and run a vin report before deciding on what to buy. |
lomomike: But Toyota heater sensor and oxygen sensors are always eager to fail and its $226 approx NGN40,000 per piece for brand new OEM oxygen sensor. So if I were the op, I'd install a damn spacer which is NGN1,000.Installing a spacer is for a bad or removed catalytic converter. His error already involves a bad heater circuit within the o2 sensor, which means he will have to get a new o2 sensor. |
I see a recall comming soon. |
Sienna not siena, there's a NL user by that name. |
shawn5ng: My sienna goes off while driving. After diagnosis was told I need to buy crankshaft sensor, sensor heater control circuitp and oxygen sensor.Crank shaft position sensor is the culprit, check if the sockets of terminals are corroded, toyota crank sensors hardly fail. The other code is for your oxygen sensor but you did not specify what bank. |
It think you should rename the title of the topic -nclude the 21days nutrition thing..... |
