I actually replaced the torque converter, and the flywheel.
I also saw that there was a connector on top of transmission that was damaged and the wire connection is cut.
I think the transmission fluid level is not low but I dont know if dirty.

pragmatistm: People, the car is up again but not yet as good. It now drives with a lot of difficulty as if im towing another vehicle. Also, the stiring has become very stiff. To turn it requires a lot more power than before. It becomes better only when I begin to rev the engine. The check engine light came on and I scanned it. I got code P0745 (Line Pressure S/V). Please what should be checked?

tman14: Gazzuzz, I just bought a Camry 1999. Was told that the shock absorbers are bad and also discovered the vehicle is low. On enquiries a mechanic suggested that I buy the shock absorber of a Camry 2004 (big daddy). He claims this will solve my problems. Pls wat are the likely adverse effects of this. Will you advise I do it?

I ran a diagnostic check on my 2007 Honda accord after it started showing the check engine light and I was told the catalyst is bad. My questions are:

1) Apart from the emission of poisonous gases, is there any consequence if I don't fix it immediately?

2) Could the faulty catalyst be a symptom of something else?

oludolars: This is far away from a lexus Rx300.This is nothing but a cheap 1997 Toyota Harrier from Japan Converted from right hand drive to left by naija mechanics already giving issues.
1.No RX300 comes with Fabric seats leather seat is standard for all Lexus and not an option
2.No Rx 300 will have a toyota logo on the steering wheel.
3. The entire side glasses of Rx300 are branded Lexus not Toyota and the two rear and rear windshield and the entire rear side glasses are factory tinted
4.The the boot has fully exposed you as there is no Lexus RX 300 logo apart from the L
5.No lexus has manual seat adjustment but power seat adjustment
6The sound system of Rx300 is branded lexus and not unbranded like urs
This is a big insult to the prestigous Lexus.
I will neva allow anyone swindle innocent ppl on dis forum.The VIN has no relationship with lexus.
Post the VIN of the Vehicle if you can argue this over with mi.

I have come to recount my experience yesterday evening along 3rd Mainland bridge. Let me start properly by giving the full details of my car as required by the house; My car is a 2007 Toyota Camry. You all know I replaced the engine a while back after the first one 'knocked' as a result of oil drain.
Okay let me start this way, For like a month now my 'Check Engine Light' has been on but I have not got a place where I can scan it to know what the problem is. So since it's not affecting the driveability of the car I have been driving it like that since then.
So yesterday evening while I was driving on 3rd Mainland bridge, something strange happened! For the first time I noticed the Check Engine Light started blinking...... (this has never happened before). It will blink for some seconds, then stay on, and after a while it will start blinking again. Then sudden after like 5 minutes the car started jerking while on motion, like it won't accelerate well......Aaah.....I was just praying in my mind that let this car not come and stop here oh!! Because it was late. It will jerk like that for a while and then move again.......after some distance it will start jerking again. A striking thing I noticed was that when it is jerking, the Check Engine Light is also blinking at the same time.
So I just put a call through to my Mechanic. ....the mechanic said it could be due to things, he said it could be one of the plugs that is faulty OR the hose that is supplying fuel to the injector is blocked by dirts.
I am calling on all Experts here to please scrutinise my story and advise me accordingly please. I won't even drive the car for now until the problem is solved. But before I visit the mechanic please I need very honest advice from the house please.
What could be wrong with the car to cause this intermittent jerking? And what is the cause of the blinking check engine light?
