Nicely detailed trip, than God for journey mercies.

In lomomike's words your vehicle is a "fuel repelant" and yes you literarily see the fuel guage droping at speeds over 140kmph.

davo3286: It might be that your drain pipe is blocked or becoming blocked thereby causing some growth of fungi in your HVAC system either in the vent ducts or in the AC lines/or other component. The drain pipe might not be blocked but fungi can grow due to dew or dampness in the vent ducts. To prevent this, switch off the AC leaving the blower or fan ON in HIGH mode 3 to 5mins before you switch OFF your engine to dry the duct or reduce the moisture. For the bad odour, you can try using any strong deodorizer with a small connecting pipe like the one on cab cleaners. Now, open the bonnet and you will see an air inlet vent close to the driver side below the wipers. Start the car, switch OFF recirc control with the blower on MEDIUM then spray liberally into the vent letting it run for at least 15minutes. Next, turn ON the heat and spray again. You may need to repeat depending on your case. In my case I wasted two cans on the sh1t. grin If after doing this and you still experience same thing then you may have to TOTALLY flush and refill your AC. After this, follow the preventive measure by switching OFF your AC leaving the blower on HIGH 3-5mins before you switch OFF.
The bolded is a total waste of feron.

barthosa: I'm having same issue and my passenger carpet is always wet. What might cause this?
Iv seen a lot of patchy work done to a.c evaporators, if you look under the dash near the blower motor, and it looks like a some patching was done (melted plastic) don't bother just save your self the headache and replace the evaporator, most times the problem is that the car was converted and evap was squeezed in and resized, or old evap had a problem and the replacement used (which was cheaper) was a right handed evap, so look under the dash and fill us in on what you see.

Meanwhile I guess we are derailing the original post.

Car Talk › Re: Help !!! Speedometer Reader/needle Not Moving When I Am Moving by GAZZUZZ(m): 5:07pm On Sep 26, 2014
ogawisdom: UPDATE
UNusually bigger tires was the cause of the issue, changed my tire from 195 65 r15 to 205 65 r15 and the speedometer needle stopped moving. i changed all the tires back to 195 65 r15 and its moving now. typing this so others can learn and stop changing tires too much from factory setting. The current tire is not the factory specs but it made minimal difference wink
I disagree with you sir larger tyres would not cause the needle to stop working, rather you might get wrong reedings dependent on the position of the speed sensor (on the wheels or gear box) your problem has still not been solved and might come back again.

P.s the diameter of your tyre has not changed its still 65 and that's what counts.

In a wayy yes but giving urself a last minute option of sweving back.
Car Talk › Re: I Met The Devil Himself On 4 Wheels by GAZZUZZ(m): 7:10am On Sep 26, 2014
adanny01: This evening, I was driving through a street in Uyo. The street was just enough for two cars side by side but not for 3 especially while driving. I was doing like 20km/hr with my headlights at Lo (dipped beam) as i usually do on streets with street lighting or on that low speed. There were cars parked but the devil himself was approaching at an estimated speed of 30km/hr with his headlights on Hi (full beam). Lucky for me, our estimated point of passage had no cars parked so i estimated that at our current speed, it was very safe for both of us.

Rather unfortunate, since Mr Devil had his lights in good condition and on Hi, it was irritating to me. So i toggled my lights to Hi and back to Lo and waited 2 secs expecting him to dip his beam in response. There was non since i was dealing with the devil himself. I thought of doing what i sometimes do, i did it i.e i switched my lights to Hi and lets see who has better lights since i was driving a high SUV with excellent lights that immitated the sun. Of course i knew mine was better.

His reaction was one that was only expected of the devil himself and at this point we were close. Mr D toggled his lights from Hi to Lo and back to Hi in a second then moved further into my lane at the middle coming at his maintained speed. 2 meters from an imminent collision i swerved heading for the open drainage while applying brakes. I stopped at the edge of the drainage while he brushed my car starting from the rear fender flares to my rear bumper increasing in intensity. Mr Devil had done his worst still driving up the road at the middle without looking back, slowing down or at least braking. He joined the dual carriage way (Ikot ekpene rd) which was where i was coming from and speed off while i rushed out to 'nurse my wounds'. Mr D drove a '93 or there about Nissan Sunny painted in the township taxi colours of Akwa ibom st. If not for the difference in height of the two cars, my loss (he won) would have been gross.

Lesson learnt, NEVER TO DARE THE DEVIL HIMSELF ON OUR NEXT MEETING.
Hard luck, that's what u get for playing chicken! Next time try equal opposite reaction, that way he would stop head on instead of passing with a scratch.

Very large balls wtf!! I few more inches and the landing gear would have been on the cabin!! Kai!! But wait o! A plane lands at over 180km/ph and has to reverse the engines almost immediately to slow down that car came out of the parking lot and almost immediately aligned with the plane this looks like a publicity stunt I suspect its an advert.

Modified: the airline has no name, its a nissan advert.
Car Talk › Re: Help Nissan Primera P11-144: Engine Not Starting Error Codes P0335 & P1336 by GAZZUZZ(m): 9:19pm On Sep 25, 2014
pragmatistm: My brother no improvement at all. In fact, it got worse.I connected the sensor I mentioned then the car refused to start again.we disconnected it back but it refused to start still. The mechanic brought auto electrician and they managed to start it. He later called me that they discovered that another sensor was bad. My plan now is to go back and drain and clean the tranny oil and scan the car again to see if there is any new code. After then I will revert.
What I notice is you leave it all to your mechanic, wish you the best.

Car Talk › Re: Help Nissan Primera P11-144: Engine Not Starting Error Codes P0335 & P1336 by GAZZUZZ(m): 9:04am On Sep 25, 2014
pragmatistm: I didnt want to do that because i changed the CVT tranny oil about 7 month ago and the oil is very expensive. I have not covered so much mileage (less than 4000km). I bought the 2 cans (8 litres) N26,000. I dont have much money again.

So I want to drain it, remove any dirt, clean the filters and top up to gauge with the left over oil I kept at home when I changed the oil.
Any improvement on your car?
