Good morning great people, some days ago my car a Peugeot 5008 came up with an Engine Fault and ESC warning after driving it accidently through some water on the motorway at about 60mph (96kmh). Almost immediately, I lost power and it started to struggle till I brought it to a halt.

It starts up fine but it struggles to gain power. I have done a scan myself and it shows up a P0265 code. (something about Injector 2 circuit high).

Would appreciate some pointers on how I can resolve it.

Scan done...two issues notice
1 knock sensor ( this has been replaced)
2 cylinder misfire ( have done everything from checking the plug and replacing the spark plugs head and also the fuel pump ).

The check engine light was off for 3days after doing all of the above, unfortunately it returned again with check engine whenever I want to accelerate... this time only the cylinder misfire was detected on the scan..

Please I need help with this cylinder misfire issue...I have spent a lot.

I was told to stop work immediately and take a seven figure sum for the vehicle .

I would have loved to continue work, but unna go flog me if I no collect this money

So I will enter market again and look for another vehicle to restore.

Sadly I had to decline this mouth watering offer from a friend. I hope he forgives me, i am usually not attached to machines , but last minute when it was time to hand over, I changed my mind.

Restoration continues.


Changed engine oil using Total quarts 5000 and put the vehicle on another Lagos to Delta and back trip last weekend, performed beautifully, and for the first time, it didn't short any oil! I'll have to question the previous engine oil supplier maybe it had "methanol" inside

Good day Gazzuz, I've been able to get a direct engine for kia cerato 1.6 and car specifies 5w30, I'm hoping to purge the engine of the usual 20w50 Nigerian pandemic as soon as possible, how can I get proper Mobil 1 5w30 or Helix Ultra Extra to avoid the fake Mobil 1 on the market here?? My Toyota Sienna 2015 has been given overheating issues; had the thermostat and radiator changed and it became fine, however, I noticed milky oil in the radiator and discover too that the transmission oil has a strawberry colour, I rushed to the mechanic to get it flushed and ordered another radiator because it water got to the transmission Via the radiator.
My major issue is the oil in the transmission is still milky after about 4 changes, do I drop the gearbox and completely clean it or do a continuous flush.
Please it's urgent

Recently, I just decided to match on the break while car is off And pump it. I noticed fluid coming down from a hose under the break pedal. By the leg side. How do I go about this. Good day house. Plss my car AC has been given me issue for a while now. I bought new compressor and refilled the gas, gas leak before the next day reach, took it bk to technician he said compressor is bad, back to the market, compressor was checked and confirm ok, now AC technician said we need to flush the system and check evaporator we did and everything seem ok, check condenser it was ok pipes was ok also, gas refilled before getting home last night, AC the blow hot air. Me dun tire abeg I need help if anyone has faced similar issue, cus am about going bk there to see if anything can be done. A Friend of mine said the AC guy should check the expansion valve. Plss help guys.

My kia optima shorts oil. It could take the space of 2 weeks to go from F to E. i currently use a stallion1 full synthetic. Spoke to a mechanic and he said i should switch to oando SL. he has had a similar experience with a kia rio and it stopped after switching to oando SL. Do you advice i ttry this switch.

Car doesnt smoke and doesnt leak.

Some of stations affected Ardova, Enyo, northwest, total, pinnacle
Not all their stations though
Over 100m liters in circulation so it may take awhile to recall
If a station is not selling, they are definitely affected
A lot of pple have already complained that their vehicles have been damaged by the fuel already

Am having issue with my rx300... The code is 2 4 and 6 cylinder misfire... We have change the plug, changed the nozzle, change the coil.. yet problem persist.. and during those period it will work for a day or two before the check engine light will pop up...

Good day people, I just got Hyundai Accent 2015 Nigerian used. I want to service the car because the previous owner doesn't know exactly how much miles it has gone from the last service. He doesn't even know the oil the mechanic uses and I want to be on safer side. Though I was able to get through to the mechanic guy on phone and he said he uses Visco 2000 (20w-50) but the recommended one from internet says 5w-20. Pls I am confused as to what to use. I'd appreciate clarity on this. Thanks
