bajajamujaja:Or this one Abeg don't mind him. Haters will hate while winners will continue winning.www.nairaland.com/attachments/2420214_img20150517144219_jpeg3bb709052614f5c31745f16e6bb672c2 |
mayusguy:Don't worry yourself about that bitter loser. Can you not see that him and others like him are in extreme pain? This is why they are all over this thread predicting doom and gloom for the Yorubas who don't really care about them and are more concerned with the development of their region and of Nigeria. What I know is that those who spend all their time wishing evil upon others shall be the first to harvest the evil they pray befall others. |
ITbomb:You people are not ashamed. You have been saying the above even before the Party was formally registered yet they not only stuck together but went on to totally rout and decimate the "biggest Party in Africa". First "they will not survive a year" then it was "they are strange bedfellows who cannot mount a successful challenge against the PDP". Now, with the PDP completely destroyed by the APC, 2019 is the new date of you discredited 'Prophets'. Come 2019, with Nigeria a nation fully on the path of development, perhaps you will revise your estimate upwards to 2097 as the APC is always forcing you Prophets of doom to do. |
Mogidi:Why did you not ask GEJ for a referendum? Why are you asking fellow Nairalanders as if they have the power to grant anything? Time wasters. |
superstar1:Not to mention a first class bigot. He was he one who announced openly that Anambra folks should not vote for the "Yoruba Party" when Ngige contested for a senatorial seat under the then ACN. Repellent character really. |
DickDastardly:You are insane and belong in a zoo. Usman is addressing your kind with the part in bold below. While we urge the general public to disregard such irrational claims, we are also inclined to warn the originators of the fake report to desist |
OduaVanguard:Indeed. |
ilugunboy:Absolutely. Part of their anger is directed at themselves but they cannot voice this out publicly. They know they put all their eggs in one basket by backing GEJ ethnocentrically and blindly even when it was obvious he was grossly incompetent and leading Nigeria towards total shutdown. Imagine the revelation today that GEJ and his looters have made Nigeria so broke we must take loans to pay salaries? Is it not obvious Nigeria would have failed officially if GEJ had been allowed to carry on? These guys now realize it has been exposed, even as far more will come out after May 29th, that they backed an evil and discredited Horse in a race for the soul of a nation. Rather than be contrite or even gracious, to then embrace working for the success of Buhari to the glory of us all, they move on to trying to discredit the Winning Horse even before he can collect his medal. This shows that some are very desperate to see Buhari fail because it is a life-and-death mission for them on many levels. (1)Haven stuck with the monumentally failed GEJ to the end, they feel duty-bound to try and make the incoming government fail through the same crude and ethnically divisive antics they destroyed the GEJ government with. (2) "Ab0k1" (Buhari) must not succeed as this will disprove their egocentric, inane centuries-long noise that only their own kinsmen can move Nigeria forward when a balanced person knows that leadership is always about the ability and character of a man rather than the ethnic group he hails from. Their default excuse of "Ab0k1 ruined Nigeria" is now not tenable anymore because GEJ ruined Nigeria far more than any other. What would then strike a bigger dagger into the hearts of these haters than for the very ab0k1 they malign year in and year out to be the very person that transform Nigeria into a nation approaching the most developed in the world? (3) The SW connection to the win of Buhari is seriously troubling them. If Buhari succeed to revolutionize Nigeria then the SW will be immortalized in the annals of history as having played their part to defeat evil governance and usher in the President and team that went on to transform Nigeria genuinely and set her on the path of real development. This is by far the biggest nightmare of these anti-Yoruba bigots. (4) Some of these haters are enemies of Nigeria's progress who saw in GEJ the answer to their prayers. They had wanted GEJ to continue destroying Nigeria so that, eventually, we will have no Country standing and this would benefit their secessionist zeal. The loss of GEJ, and thus the disappearance of their dream, has precipitated the anger that is currently behind this campaign of calumny against the Yorubas they hold principally responsible for the fact that GEJ will not now be able to 'finish the job'. Overall, in my opinion, they are to be pitied because they are already in their own mental 'prison' which surely will prevent them getting the best out of life and their fellow men/women. |
PassingShot:I told them. Yet all of them, led by the repellent and ultra-bigoted OneNaira6 who brought the original fraudulent article here, failed to listen. Imagine roping a refined technocrat like Usman into this garbage? Even if you will lie can you not do it intelligently? Why not find one of the "born to rule" Hawks in the North to attache this puerile statement to instead of the highly exposed, very intelligent and uber-sophisticated Usman? These ethnocentric mischief-makers are not intelligent at all. |
As with the Soyinka ethnic slur saga, did I not also warn that Usman could never have said this? Let the bigots, haters and losers, looking for ways to divide Nigerians for their own anarchic agenda, continue to fool themselves. Jonathan is gone and there is no way they will succeed setting Nigerian ethnic groups and religion against each other. They did this shamelessly while GEJ held sway but there is a new Sheriff in town and his way is not that of ethno-religious bigotry and divisiveness. Mischief makers are therefore warned that they are wasting their time with these childish attempts to divide Nigerians. https://www.nairaland.com/2309586/yoruba-people-contributed-nothing-buharis/5#33668133 Gbawe: |
Akbee:Of course. Many fuel subsidy scammers are filthy rich today because of GEJ. Many corrupt miscreants are private jet owners now thanks to the 'gangster paradise' GEJ created. Can we forget that, in a nation with a functional armed forces, GEJ made militant warlords and militia leaders very rich through granting them security contract and government patronage those sort of people have no business hankering for in sane nations? Yes indeed Jonathan touched lives positively but it was the wrong sort of lives. He did zilch for the average Nigerian. In fact he abandoned them totally, by leaving them to starve and die, and this is why he is reviled universally by those who know what true leadership entails to include even his peers i.e other leaders. The truth is that Jonathan, more than any other President in Nigeria's history, let ordinary Nigerians down the most. Nothing typified this more than how he allowed more than 15,000.00 Nigerians to be butchered over 5 years while pretending his hands were tied and he could do nothing to fight terrorism robustly. Yet when election loss starred him in the face, and his political empire was about to come crashing down, Jonathan cynically postponed elections and ordered the army to mount a considerable assault against Boko Haram 6 weeks to new election dates when all polls had indicated he would lose the originally scheduled election. Is it then not clear, through this development, that Nigerian lives mean nothing to Jonathan? If that is not inhuman callousness and wickedness then I don't know what is. Even today, Nigeria is totally bankrupt because of how him and his heartless crooks looted our treasury, in time when oil price was high, now leaving Nigeria a nation that needs loans to pay workers !!! I could go on all day but the bottom line is that no one will ever remember Jonathan fondly except those who benefited from his corrupt and amoral leadership plus those who love revisionism and prefer hiding from reality and the truth which is that GEJ largely brought pain, poverty and deaths to ordinary Nigerians. |
lygn19:Thank you ojare for reminding me of this. Oga Asari Dokubo, we are calling on you and others to carry out the threat you issued below. Oya "ownners of oil" over to you. Time to show the "parasites" what you are made of or will agree you are nothing but mouthy empty barrels only ranting for the sake of your own pockets. http://www.naij.com/58477.html 2015 Elections: We Are Ready For War - Asari Dokubo |
@OP. Hurry up and make it happen. We are all tired of impotent folks making noise online while your leaders, i.e those who have the real political clout and influence to move things along, continue showing a devotion to We have just had essentially the most pro SE/SS leaning Presidency since 1999. Under that Presidency you did not harass your leaders, who were very influential and prominent at the center, to assist you gain what you now say you want. Now you guys cannot even be democratic and respect the outcome of an election. Had GEJ won would you be making this noise. No !!! It is called hypocrisy. We Nigerians who simply want socio-economic progress, within a united Nigeria, are tired of your egotistical noise that is now at a crescendo because Jonathan , your ethnic 'local champion', was booted out. Do what the Egyptians and others did to agitate for your own lower Niger Spring or shut up and let Nigerians have peace to breathe. |
luvmijeje:Thank you. There is only so long some self-serving mercenaries can don the toga of "pro-people freedom fighters" for till the entire world see them for what they are. This is not 1999 when OBJ took over or even 2007 when Yar Adua led the charge to compensate the militants with amnesty and genuinely empower the NDDC to try and make amends for the sufferings of the ND and her people. This is 2015 when it is now fully agreed by all balanced and truthful people worldwide that the leaders of the ND, whether militant or political, are exploitative and duplicitous charlatan who do not care for the people and are only interested in lining their own pocket. No one will therefore support the continuous blackmail of Nigeria by a people who show they are disinterested in holding their direct leaders, i.e those who have failed them the most, accountable. Clearly Nigeria and her leadership has shifted ground and made tangible concessions to the ND. Yet we have not seen these concessions translate into any appreciable gains for the people of the ND because of the corruption and anti-people callousness of the leaders of the region. The pipeline protection contracts is one example. How can anyone support the continuation of protection contracts costing Nigeria huge sums of money yet only delivering the biggest levels of oil theft ever recorded? Clearly the militants are 'eating' on both sides (money from government contract + selling bunkered oil) so why would any sane person argue in favor of a continuation of this deplorable status quo that is only benefiting crooks rather than Nigeria and Nigerians? It is like arguing in favor of the continuation of the fuel subsidy scam !!!! It is the same as how NDDC leaders get a lot to transform the ND yet loot all moneys provided only to turn around duplicitously, so as to deceive their own people they deliberately and heartlessly impoverish , and begin shouting of "injustice against us the owners of the oil that feeds Nigeria". All good Nigerians, including ordinary Niger Deltans who are not gaining anything from the billions flying around, should welcome reforms that will truly work for all Nigerians and destroy, once and for all, the "business as usual" contraptions and arrangements destroying all sectors and corners of our nation. It is time we all put ethnic jingoism aside to begin demanding what is in the best interest of Nigeria and Nigerians. For all the noise some SE and SS bigots make here daily, it remains a total disgrace to them that Yar Adua, from the Fulani ethnic group they hate passionately, did far more for the ND and had more goodwill for the region in the short time he led than "son of the soil" Jonathan has managed in 5 years as President !!! |
BlackTechnology:Call me what you want. Fact is that your kind always end up frustrated losers because you run purely on the fuel of prejudice, self-deceit and egotism. This leaves you unable to confront and accept the truth. The fact is that it is your leaders at State and regional level who have let you down the most yet you prefer a 'romanticised' version of events where all your folks are innocent victims of the "evil machinations" of other Nigerian ethnic groups. You do not even have the honesty or integrity to confront the fact that GEJ has led Nigeria for 5 years while the people of the ND and the region itself did not benefit at all from having their 'son' as President whereas militant warlords, mercenaries and gun-totting thugs all became billionaires courtesy of the patronage of Jonathan. Those are the sort of reality that shows that you and others love deluding yourselves. |
BlackTechnology:The fact and the reality associated with Nigeria as a Nation is that crude oil is 100% owned by Nigeria wherever it is found within Nigeria's officially controlled territory. Lawless individuals like you may not wish to accept this but that is the reality supported officially by the laws and constitution of sovereign Nigeria. Change this status quo first and secede legally before you begin talking impotently as if the ND can formally dictate issues to Nigeria. The FG, soon to be led by Buhari, controls all the income of Nigeria - wherever such is derived from. When you cannot recognize and accept this fundamental legal reality then it is clear you cannot be taken seriously when issues related to the development of Nigeria are under discussion. |
bamidele029:Indeed. This is why I say Nairalanders should not take folks like him seriously. |
chamboy:Don't you mean the shameless troll? He promised to deactivate his Nairaland account if Buhari won in Benue yet never did. Dude, you are wasting your time talking to that dishonorable chap. A cowardly joker who cannot even keep to his pledge, and always ends up discredited here, is making noise again. Nairaland sef. https://www.nairaland.com/2187094/17-states-might-make-buhari/2 chukwudi44: |
haryhorku:Don't mind that cowardly keyboard warrior. He has issued so many warnings and ultimatums yet the real players on the ground he relied on (GEJ, et al) continue to let him down by showing they are first self-serving individuals who are entirely about themselves above playing 'strongman' to please some deluded e-warriors. This is the problem. Jonathan's five years has made many Nigerians to feel that leaders capitulating to the blackmail of every common thugs, as GEJ did, is the norm. We will see who will come out on top here. All that some emotional and ethnocentric Nairalanders know to do is beat their skinny chest and exaggerate the strength of their kinsmen and corner. They are proven wrong daily yet they still shamelessly come here to mouth-off like this Chukwudi44 chap. Even the militants will quickly know that 'level has changed' if they mess with Buhari. We will see whether they still have the sympathy of their own people, let alone other Nigerians and the world, as was the case in the past when it was thought "their cause is just". GEJ has fed them fat for 5 years, with many becoming billionaires, yet the ordinary people of the ND are totally disenfranchised from this largess shared among the leaders of the region. These guys have outlasted their use for anybody. It is now clear they were only fighting for their own pocket. Post amnesty, what has GEJ, NDDC, billionaire militant warlord et al done for the ND region? What has the billions Tompolo, Boyloaf et al made from the official patronage of GEJ done for the ordinary folks of the ND? We only need to look at how oga pata-pata (GEJ) was completely abandoned by all but Fayose to know that these militants will be on their own if they decide to square up to Buhari. |
I don't know why Nigerians love arguing blindly even when facts stare them in their faces. Probably over a million discussion went on in cyberspace about "Buhari will never lead Nigeria again". Many braggarts, total weaklings and cowards in real life, gave the specific reason that the militants "supermen" behind GEJ will make life impossible for Buhari. Today same militants some Nigerians swore on have not only quickly accepted the loss of GEJ but have now largely pledged to work with Buhari. Precisely same with this pipeline protection nonsense. For the absence of doubt, some Nigerians need to know that this is not done anywhere in the world. I.e formally contracting sensitive government responsibility to untrained and unlicensed militia groups. It is not done and the situation we have is a unique disgrace to Nigeria and our armed forces/Government security agencies. This reprehensible practice begun by GEJ, especially when it has led only to Nigeria witnessing the highest oil theft on record, is something Buhari must and will abrogate. Nigerians and the entire international community are supporting Buhari because they want him to move us away from our current resemblance to Somalia towards a Nation where things work as they should. Pipeline protection contract for militant warlords and militia groups should never have been an option in the first place. As simple as that. Egotistic and chest-beating Nairalanders can remain here bragging about the so-called might of others (Tompolo, OPC et al) when they themselves are skinny weaklings who do not understand that Buhari, unlike GEJ, is not of the mindset that a nation should be cowered by militia groups, terrorists, criminals and gun-totting mercenaries. Any leader who accepts this fundamental no-no is accepting that his nation is failed. One of the markers of a failed state is when terrorists, militia groups and anarchic 'strong' men begin to control territory, government duties, profitable official processes et al in a sovereign State. Buhari fully understands and is ready to defend the notion that individuals and militia groups must never hold a nation to ransom because that is the beginning of the end for said Nation. How long before these individuals and militia groups start claiming the Nigerian Government, which Buhari is head of, has no control over everything within their threshold and must thus stay away? Buhari is not ready to become President Al-Assad and he will not, without a fight, allow Nigeria to become Syria. The kids can remain here and have their fun. We will see the reality that will play out. We will see whether Tompolo (if he decides to be a troublemaker) is a 'winsh' that turns into 4,000 version of himself as they claimed of Maitatsine or we will see if he is like the mortal Maitatsine Buhari wasted mercilessly in his unrelenting quest to bring peace, security and order to Nigeria. |
ENDTIMES:Thank you. Dare I say that with adequate power supply, good infrastructure, high quality education and training, jobs, an empowered and growing SME sector, self-sufficient crude oil refining capacity et al then all Nigerians will be able to make what they want of Nigeria. I am all for devolution of power and true fiscal federalism but these are issues we should commit to always and not be found agitating for only after our candidate has lost the election. This is the issue I have with the OP. I think nothing is more pathetic and self-delusional than for some to be portraying other Nigerians as impediments to their development when they parade the worst, most selfish, most callous and most anti-people leaders on show in Nigeria today. This new-found SE and SS nationalism is all very fashionable, in a self-pitying and sore loser kind of way, since GEJ lost but the two regions need to hear and heed the truth which is that no Northerner or south-Westerner is more responsible for the plight of the SE and SS today than the callous, highly corrupt and self-serving leaders of those regions. We are not kids here even if some of you want to behave that way with an irresponsible refusal to accept that your direct leaders, first and foremost, are responsible for where you find yourselves. |
philips70:I actually believe that GEJ is an insincere chap who will say anything to get his way. The fact is that he merely talked the talk whereas his actions and body language revealed that GEJ is not a genuine advocate of genuine federalism or devolution of power. He did nothing at all to promote the agitation for greater independence and autonomy for States and regions. He never acted to reverse the harmful trend where the center is suffused with money and wasteful governance to the detriment of the nation. His ten airplane largess, maintained with many billions annually, is indicative of his mindset that those who control the center must enjoy garish opulence whereas a true believer of fair distribution/devolution of wealth/power will feel the center should lead by example by shedding some excesses and donating such to other tiers of the federation. He said "Nigeria not ripe for State policing" yet did nothing to reform what we have to turn the NPF into a modern, efficient and independent security institution. Instead, as with other PDP Presidents, GEJ preferred to keep the NPF in a state of servitude and stupor for the benefit of himself and his Party. This is a man who enjoys openly compromising our Armed forces (Army, NPF et al) and other security agencies (DSS for example). How will such a leader then ever hanker for genuine federalism which may then feature reformed institutions he would not be able to influence partisanly, for his own agenda, from Aso Rock? Everything Jonathan did shows he leans towards a Federal Government that is inordinately powerful at the expense of other tiers of the federation. If this thread was opened by a supporter of Buhari then I will engage in productive discussion with the OP. When OP is a fervent supporter of GEJ, silent previously about all he now demands today, then I have nothing to say but "hypocrite alert". |
torkaka:Thank you and God bless you ojare. These insincere and clannish Nairalanders do not realize that their past post are here to highlight their hypocrisy when they don the 'zoro' mask to then try and pretend to be today what they were not interested in associating with yesterday. Yeye and hypocrisy dey smell. Jonathan was indeed "the poster child of 'anti' true federalism" and it is nauseating that those who wanted him to continue in power and were blind to GEJ's devotion to inordinate concentration of wealth, power and institutional authority in the hands of the FG, to the detriment of other tiers of our federation, now want to re-invent themselves as champions of 'devolution of power', regionalism and true fiscal federalism. Absolutely pathetic. |
chemali:Thank you. Pragmatically intelligent folks know that a predictable attribute of man is to blame others for his failures while he ignores his own shortcomings. This is what we are seeing here. GEJ loses an election and many in the SE and SS suddenly realize, after 5 years of total silence, that the North and SW is their main and immediate problem that they need "autonomy" from ASAP. Agitations we heard nada about for the five years GEJ was President? In civilised climes this would be called precisely what it is i.e the insincere, revisionist and deceitful posturing of sore losers who can simply not be gracious in defeat and move on with their lives for the greater good of society. Why, for example, would someone who never made certain demands during the 5 years of GEJ suddenly begin insisting this is what they want and must have now that GEJ has been booted out? They won't talk of the hideous misrule of Nigeria that got Jonathan kicked out by the electorate yet they will come here daily to open these self-pitying and whining threads where they disgracefully attempt to play 'victims' being "held back" by others. All this pathetic and effeminate behavior because of an election loss whereas voters on the losing side in most civilized and politically sophisticated Nations of the world will simply wish the winner well and move on in the spirit of democratic goodwill and discipline? Pathetic really. Developments like these makes one realize that Nigeria has far more 'issues' than other nations. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=sore+loser&defid=1660816 |
ifyan:What truth? The "truth" the OP was somehow prevented from telling to GEJ in the five years he was President? Real men who are honorable, brave and upright make decision they live and die by. This is a democracy. Some voted for GEJ and others voted for Buhari. Why can those who voted GEJ not simply accept the loss, wish Nigeria well under Buhari and move on as many of us did in 2011 even when we did not support GEJ who won back then? Why has this loss of GEJ now suddenly reminded some of "true fiscal federalism" and the need to "regionalize" Nigeria? Sensible Nairalanders should not remain here indulging this dishonest, deceitful and hypocritical crybaby OP and others like him. I personally admire stand-up guys who throw blows and take blows. You bragged before the elections and have now lost. Why not show civility by at least giving Buhari time to show what he can do before the deceitful antics of are rolled out redolent of the behavior of sour losers? Have they given Buhari a chance to lead before they begin talking of "injustice"? The forum, below, can see the same OP strutting arrogantly in defence of GEJ before the election. The GEJ he is defending below and asking Nigerians to retain in power has never acted as if he is interested in "true fiscal federalism" or the idea of "regionalizing" Nigeria. If anything, GEJ was the poster child of central profligacy/patronage/largesse at the expense of devolving power to other tiers of the federation. Jonathan lived for bloated and wastful central governance with power, wealth and might inordinately concentrated in the centre to the detriment of other tiers of our federation like States. If any of these GEJ supporters were honorable, they would spare us this post-election revisionism which is not only patronising but highly deceitful and amoral. For the sake of brevity, and because I trust well-informed Nairalanders will know what I mean, this Op is the biggest hypocrite on Nairaland because the same GEJ he wanted to carry on leading Nigeria did exactly the opposite of what will deliver all that the OP is now deceitfully claiming he wants for Nigeria. The essence of 'outing' this hypocrite is that Nairalanders need to know that there exist a category of educated yet hateful and ethnocentric Nigerians who conveniently and deliberately see no evil while their own is in charge. They even hankered passionately for the ultra-corrupt and totally inept GEJ to remain President, never mind he was only succeeding at turning Nigeria into Somalia fast. They never put all these demands before GEJ in 5 years yet they suddenly remember the 'injustice' of Nigeria now that GEJ has been voted out. They then patronisingly think they can hide behind the usual rhetoric of "true fiscal federalism" and "regionalism" when it is obvious to intelligent folks that these dishonorable posters are merely bitter losers who had no problem with all that GEJ stood for yesterday even when that is the opposite of what they claim to want today. Yeye, and hypocrisy, dey smell. The OP asks below what GEJ is not addressing. Yet we know, in five years as President, that GEJ certainly did not address all he demands here. Nonetheless he supported GEJ unquestioningly. This reveals that the likes of the OP, despite their pretensions to erudition, are nothing but clannish element perpetually devoted to their ethnic affiliation than to developmental political ideology. https://www.nairaland.com/2055380/why-buhari-not-fight-corruption/1 Whynotthetruth: |
ShymmexOBE:That list is 100% fake and compiled in the bedroom of someone who is not too bright. Dealing with the 'source' first, I can tell you that Osun defender, while pro-Yoruba/pro-APC, is not the best-run news-source primarily because the site presents a lot of unedited news culled from elsewhere. Anything from Osundefenders therefore has to be taken with an investigative grain of salt. In other words , majority of the articles presented on Osundefenders are not products of their own in-house investigations and can thus not be trusted for this reason. The list you talk about is hosted below. https://www.nairaland.com/2314351/b-r-e-a-k-i-n-g-new-ministerial-list-emerged#33741440 To see proof of what I am talking about, click the link above and scroll down to the end of original article and then click the Osundefender link. Once on the Osundefender page scroll down and click "see the complete list" link in blue. The real source of the article is revealed which is : http://www.newsat247.com/2015/05/new-ministerial-list-emerged-buhari-drops-governors-fashola-and-fayemi-finally-see-the-new-twenty-four-buharis-loyalists-set-for-final-approval/ To the list itself, I can tell you there is no politician called "Timpire Silver" as claimed. It is Timipre Sylva. Big differences like that show this is a list an uninformed mischief-maker, who cannot even spell the name of so-called appointees correctly, pulled out of his azz. Also, Segun Oni is on the list. He recently only joined the APC from the PDP. Now, how on earth will Oni be a Minister and the likes of Fayemi who drafts APC policies, strategy and helped create Party Manifesto, plus is trusted by and very close to Buhari, is "dropped"? Ditto Fashola. Cramming the list with Northerners is a dead giveaway as well as is the omission of Justice Minister. Bottom line is that this is another mischievous delivery from anti-SW elements keen to wind folks up with the insinuation "Born to rule" North has claimed it all and "used and dumped" the Yorubas. This is what some wish and are dreaming of yet such does not take into account the reality of Nigeria and the character of Buhari himself. These hateful hacks are only writing what 'gets them off' er0t1cally and I would not pay any attention to their drivel if I were you. Wait to see the substantive list and you will be surprised. One thing most do not know, or deliberately fail to account for, is that Buhari is well aware that the true "born to rule" from the North, i,e those who exist solely on government largesse and patronage, are the very folks who will bring his government down and cause it to fail if not kept well at bay and neutralized. Those people did not give Buhari his leadership mandate. Ordinary Nigerians did and Buhari is aware of this. Left to the Northern elites and real "born to rule" advocates then Jonathan would have been preferable because he abets "business as usual" by always looking away which Buhari will not do. Buhari and his region have suffered at the hands of these "born to rule" vipers and they have directly plotted for the past ten years to ensure he never becomes President since they see this to mark an end of "business as usual". If Buhari is to stand a chance of succeeding then he will know those type of Northerners must never be allowed to hijack let alone become the powerful exponents of his government. In fact, those 'Hawks' are the sort Buhari must deal with in his second coming since they are the ones who have turned the North into what it is - which is the most backward region in Nigeria today. If you are a man of integrity, like Buhari and in his shoes, would you not shun your fellow Yorubas who have destroyed the SW with their rapacious and anti-people greed? Would you let those sort, when they always worked against your emergence, be the backbone of your government if you are very passionate about changing the status quo in your own region and Nigeria at large? Ethnocentric mischief-makers and haters will have their say but reality, which is that Buhari will do what must be done to succeed, will disgrace all their malevolent lies and fabrications. The simple and definitive truth is that Buhari will fail if, after decades fighting to lead Nigeria, he now capitulates to the "born to rule" Vultures from his region. Buhari will not do that and it is only the wishful thinking of anti-Yoruba ethnic jingoists who wish this to be the reality so they can gain the "North used and dumped Yoruba" revenge they badly crave. Sadly for them, Buhari has his eyes on rescuing Nigeria and leaving a positive legacy. He does not have any interest in becoming anyone's ethnic 'local champion' even if some have gotten used to GEJ being that to them. Not too long now and we shall see the real list of Ministers. |
ACM10:look at this backward fool. You think most Yorubas, other than some online ethnic warriors seeking bragging rights over others, care who becomes VP? I am addressing your kinsmen who think they have somehow sabotaged the Yorubas if they prevent the emergence of a speaker from the SW. It shows that some of your bigoted kinsmen do not know what matters to most Yorubas. |
princejayboss:What a fool. So many brainless olodos here. Who talked of war? Some say they will use the political offices of thw SE and SS to sabotage the SW and I say "bring it on" to that. If that is what the SE and SS want to use the next 4-8 years to do then I repeat that they should bring it on. Let us see who, because they are entirely driven by emotions, will lose out. I will only remind some that the Yorubas are measured, calculated and, most importantly, do not hate anyone to the extent their political reasoning is compromised always. |
sinizia:Look you brainless attention-seeker, I don't know you and have no interest in answering your question or talking to you. Now think the worst you can. As if what you or anyone here thinks of me pays my mortgage. Some of you, perhaps because you have nothing of worth to focus on in real life, take this your online persona too seriously. In case you missed it, let me repeat that Gbawe does not give a feck what you or any other Narialander thinks of him. Comprende? You seem like another attention-LovePeddler trying to pick a 'notice-me' fight. You should just get a life. A real one. Douchebag. |
sinizia:I don't need the respect of an emotional cretin like you. Go and respect those you interact with in real life and stop looking for online heroes to worship and respect. I never asked you or anyone to respect me. You can continue being a sentimental child and twisting my word, perhaps because some of your kinsmen have disgraced your ethnic group to the point Yorubas now have to respond with the cold hard truth, but my point which is clear to all is that the SW voted to remove a proven misruler. Even then, this misruler still received healthy votes to show the people of the region are independent-minded and not entirely clannish or easily herded into a single corner. It is therefore very rich of those who gave such a misruler, on course to turning Nigeria into Somalia, almost 100% of their own votes to now want to join issues vengefully with the Yorubas and be talking of "pay back" for some "betrayal" that only exists in their hateful and bigoted minds. You want to see the real bigot? look in the mirror you pathetic child. Some of you need to grow up and face the truth. Nairaland is not your 'agony aunt'. If you have emotional issues then don't come looking for solutions to them here. |
Meiji:To be honest, all successful nations of the world are self-serving ahead of anything else. We have to learn to play the game also. Not the biggest fan of Blair but I will not read anything into his meeting with Buhari. It is entirely normal that most self-serving world leaders and influential men/women will want to meet the leader of the biggest black nation on earth. It is what Buhari can get out of them also that matters. If you go into a battle thinking you have already lost then you will surely lose. Buhari will have to swim with Sharks and barracudas to get Nigeria where she needs to go. |
