Ice cream is usually a combination of whipping cream and condensed milk. Why add water cos I presume the sugar is to elevate the sweetness of the milk used here.
SirBunky85: Fubara is an Ingrate.no sane human being will trust him again
And Woke who supposedly is in PDP but a minister under APC is right. Wike is worse than Fubara and he is only pained he's not allow to rule Rivers indirectly.
kunle4toyeyaho: Clueless? But the $7billion fX backlog has been paid? The foreign reserve has risen to $38.5billion from $33 and many other economic indices have improved.Hence, the reform is working. However, the reform's negative impact is being felt more by ordinary Nigerians, this is my reservation about the reform.
The FX backlog was cleared have you asked what is happening in the FX forward market? Economic reforms are wholistic in approach and robbing Peter to pay Paul isn't reform.
Oneoff19: Hi everyone, first time posting. Just wanted to ask a question regarding proof of funds. I got admission for fall 2024 but wasn't able to go due to personal reasons and because of that, I lost my GA cause they needed someone starting in fall 2024 although the department that awarded me the GA role gave me student employment for spring after which I would take over the GA role starting fall 2025. The COA is 36,000, of which I personally have 18k, my sibling has 10k and my uncle has 20k, which totals up to 48k. My uncle doesn't bear my surname as he changed his last name so I told him to give the money to my dad so he could pay it to my account directly. Do I also need to tell my sibling to do the same and during the interview, say all the funds are in my account but it's a combination or still take the statement of account of my sibling plus mine with the funds from my dad in it? I have enough to pay my spring tuition and the student employment is enough to cover rent and feeding, I was just wondering if it's worth the stress or if should I just wait until fall 2025 although the whole election thing is why I really want to go during this spring. Thanks.
If you can wait till Fall and able to secure more funding, I would suggest you do just that.
@gofigurena, Can 10-12million buy you a brand new car in Nigeria e.g. Innoson, Hyundai, Kia, etc.? If yes, I would advice you go with a new car and get the rest of mind you need. It keeps you away from the mechanic and I am sure there will be reasonable warranty on it such that the first 3 to 5 years would come at no extra cost to you except for petrol.
kingxsamz: I don't really know. I'm not concerned about that because It's not something I prepare all the time. It's just a combination I tried out some years ago and it came out really well.
kingxsamz: You should. I recommend it. Just mix salt, chicken spice and curry powder with raw eggs and fry with onions and fresh peppers. It smells like chicken when you fry it. And it's very delicious.
DanteSilva: I have people mention that hinting to the VO that you want to stay back even for a little bit is a red flag. The OPT and further studies advice sounds good but won't it be a red flag to the VO.
It depends on the flow as they also use psychology to assess your case. Your intentions are genuine and getting more experience is not a crime.
jubrilELsudan: THE THING WITH YOUR NIGERIANS IS THAT YOU USE YOUR EMOTIONS TO REASON THINGS OUT
ONLY AN IDIOT WILL EMBARK ON A JOURNEY WITHOUT CONSIDERING THEIR FUEL STATUS
DID THEY KIDNAP HIM AND THEY DROPPED HIM THERE?
HIM MAKING A VIDEO AND CRYING DOES THAT NOT IMPLY THAT HE KNEW HE HAD NO MONEY TO BUY ADEQUATE FUEL AND HIS OKADA TANK WAS EMPTY FOR THE JOURNEY BUT STILL DECIDED TO CARRY HIS FLAT HEAD AND EMBARK ON THE JOURNEY THEN HE RECORDS A VIDEO CRYING TO DRAW SYMPATHY SO IDIOTS LIKE YOU CAN DONATE MONEY TO HIM
Do you know if by his estimation the fuel should take him home and beyond? Let's assume people are drawn to donate money, how is it your business? Are you forced at gun point to donate to him?

Please friends, I have my interview coming up soon please help me thoroughly scrutinize my proposed questions and answers. Thank you.
I am not so great at critiquing transcripts as most times, the responses just like the questions are premediated. For a regular transcript, what people do is analyze the flow of the conversation.
That said, your question 12 and its response for me seems not so realistic. If your firm is not into finance, I am not sure with the volatility in the Finance sector, they would switch into it because you studied in the United States. I think in recent times, based on your transcript, I would start from "I would want to use the OPT as a way to gain real life experience beyond the knowledge from the Financial Laboratory working for a mid size firm to get more grounded and also use that period to network Nigerian organizations I can help with my knowledge as a consultant upon my return". I think they know too well if you are good enough, their society needs you thus, you don't have to be quick to talk about coming back immediately. I am not sure you want your dad to spend almost a 100 million naira and not help recoup a part of it any way you can.
You could even talk about further studies if it is something you are interested in and how you intend to use data from American firms to help aid your understanding through research which you intend to apply to the Nigerian economy and by extension, the global economy as much as you can.
The pain is that this is not coming to an end soon as our leaders are not ready to take the right stance and interestingly, as a people, we are more concerned about tribe and religion sentiment to defend our leaders than ask them to act responsible.
When I think of my 3 years in each of them, I would rate my boarding experience way above my day experience. Was there bullying, yes nonetheless, the extent of disrespect and bullying in day school is way worse. In addition, so many live skills are learned as a boarder as you did know how to maneuver your ways when needed.
Saao: ok my major concerns in boarding school are the security of students, gay or lesbianism, and are children more better of? During your days, did you had any such ugly experience? I think love the missionaries boarding school. I really appreciate help
Sexual behaviors are not learned in school. People are inherently who they are and some pick up their sexual habits based on exposure. One thing is certain, kids are exposed to heterosexual behaviors in boarding schools. I do not know about same sex schools though.
Why is Shaibu this bitter? I don't understand how our politicians behave. If you have no interest in what he is doing as your boss, let him know and keep receipts for the records and not trying to chase clouts.
SO BEFORE HE EMBARKED ON THE JOURNEY HE DIDN'T KNOW THE DISTANCE THE FUEL IN HIS TANK WOULD CARRY HIM ON HIS OKADA
WHAT MAKES HIM A BIGGER FOOL IS THE FACT THAT HE CAN PUSH THAT OKADA AND THERE IS NO WAY THAT AT LEAST SOMEONE DRIVING PAST ON THAT ROAD WOULD NOT OFFER A HELPING HAND TO HIM
While you could be partly right on your first paragraph, you still don't have enough information to reach your conclusion in the second paragraph. Worst is you are worse than him by writing in caps, thus, you can conclude on what you are.
