diggz:TBH i ended this debate yesterday but the guy had to mention me again. I decided i won't stop until i proved he never knew what he was saying all along. Now i have done this and along the process even found out that he's an OLODO. ![]() Alright, i would ignore him now. I'm bored of the debate already. Meanwhile , as airmarkairmark put yansh face Bayern thread naim you to carry blokus show barca thread. Special mention to sleekdot wet carry mouth face CFC thread and anything English..Sleekdot is the same as Raumdeuter ( Dayo's alternate moniker). I believe you know this by now. Dayo is on rampage now, going from thread to thread. I don't mind or blame him for doing that. It's the fault of some shortsighted EPL fans who overrated the English national team before the tournament and now they're paying the price. Let him gloat all he wants. |
Bykebyke keep on liking your posts yourself with your various monikers ![]() That won't stop me from showing that you're an OLODO. |
bykebyke:So you mean the championship had 2 names in 1959? Why was it known as "Taca Brazil" if it was actually " Brasileiro Série A"? Why could you find league tables for 1971 but nothing for 1959 or 1962? Pele was winning "Taca Brazil" etc not league titles. When was even the name "Brasileiro Série A Campeonato " created? 1971, and that was when it (league) actually started. Again Wikipedia is the source of your confusion. Wikipedia isn't always right and the authors of the pages sometimes mix up a lot of information they don't know much about. It's people like me and you that put the information there and anyone can edit it. Why don't read something else for once and stop posting the same images like a robot? TrashWhy won't you call it trash? I can bet you read it and got ashamed of yourself Bykebyke please where are the league tables for the league titles Pele won? Why is this so difficult for you to find? Didn't Pele win league titles? Produce them even if it's from wikipedia, i would accept it. Produce the league tables for those years or show the matches Santos(Pele's club) played home and away to show that Pele won league titles! Then be ashamed of yourself for getting whooped by an Olodo. If you can't do what i asked of you (above), then you're worse than an OLODO for claiming Pele won league titles when there was no league. |
AbuMikey:If you read the previous posts on this thread, you should be ashamed of yourself for claiming i got bullied by bykebyke. Maybe some people can actually bully me but i don't think he's one of them. At his best, he's a troll against Madrid but there's obviously nothing beyond that. Going by your false claim earlier, maybe you're just like him too. ![]() |
Bykebyke is an OLODO. ![]() |
bykebyke:I'm sorry. I can't help myself here. I find you to be so ridicoulously daft. I'm done with you,I've taught you the lesson I want to.No you aren't done and you're the one being tutored. I ended the debate and left and stopped replying you but you went on to quote my reply to someone else. Since you're so bullish, I won't left you get off so easily again. Everybody gets beaten by somebody, you won an argument today doesn't make you better than every other person, cause you might lose one tomorrow. You are right about this because i'm winning this argument today. This is the link from which you posted that image: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Brazilian_football_champions The "Campeonato Brasileiro Série A " started in 1971. Click on 1971 or any year after that and you'll find league tables because that was when the Brazilian league was created. Why was there a league table in 1971 but none in 1962 or 1963? ![]() It's beyond obvious now. You have put yourself in a very bad position. I wonder how those people liking your posts must feel now. They must feel foolish like you I hope everyone reads this in bold From the link click on those years (1962, 1963 etc) you said Pele won "league titles" and tell me if you'd find any league table. There's none because what he was winning weren't simply league titles. They were various tournament/championships because they Brazil didn't have a league then. Wikipedia lists the winners of those championships because they were the important ones to win when Brazil didn't have a league and you foolishly thought they were league titles. Pele did not win those "league titles" as you falsely claimed. I think Wikipedia is what is helping you get confused. You have no idea what a league title is. I told you so but you wouldn't listen. Bykebyke show us the league table Santos (Pele's team) topped to win the league in 1962 or 1963 etc. There is none. Bykebyke no offence, but you are an OLODO. A very big one in fact. make those who like fight enter here abeg. Nihilist, diggz, Adelana1, etc |
bykebyke:A league didn't exist in Brazil then. Winning a championship or tournament is different from winning a league title. How can you be so daft not to know this? A league usually consists of a table with each teams facing each other home and away over the course of a season. That's what a league is and it's obvious you simply didn't know. Show me the teams that faced each other home and away then and show me the table of how that season ended. There's simply no table; that's because it wasn't a league you ignoramus. ![]() Imagine referring to a knock out competition and what you had to play finals to win as a league? ![]() England had a league as far back as the 50s or 60s. You can go online and easily find the league tables of those seasons but Brazil didn't have a league. I can show you the English league table of 1889 or 1962; you can find it yourself on Wikipedia ![]() Bykebyke start searching for those Brazilian league tables and show me; Even Wikipedia won't help you here. You're an illiterate and I stand by that. |
Bykebyke you're only gonna make me reintroduce that debate. Why have you failed to prove what Pele won as "league titles"? You meant Pele won "league titles" and you were the only that knew about that? Is it really that difficult? Why not simply post just a single link to a credible article that described what Pele won as "league titles" and I'll move on and accept I got floored. I have done that in the past and I'll do that again if I'm proven wrong. It's that simple. You simply can't do this because you were always wrong in the first place. Nothing you say now or in the future would ever change that. |
bykebyke:I've never done or claimed this. Provide proof of this or shut up and move on. Yesterday I exposed your ignorance, and believe me I won't hesitate to do it again. This is a bit rich coming from someone like you who can be the very poster boy for ignorance. You exposed nothing about me. |
AbuMikey:You mean I was bullied by someone who doesn't even know what is a "league title"? No it takes far more than that. It's only on this thread he cannot get away with such ignorance because he's a Barcelona/Messi fan likewise you or most folks here. I'm not suprised one bit. |
@SailorXY, Moyes who gave Rooney his fat contract, LVG who insisted his captain must always play, and now Roy Hodgson are 3 coaches who've failed ridiculously due a lot of factors but the major one in common is the Rooney factor. Mourinho would very likely end up the same way if he follows their path. Rooney is simply finished and should be moved on from. We would never have any real form of progress with this guy still around. It's the truth. |
usbcable:Your hatred for him is something else. |
elampiro:Shame suppose dey catch you. Elampiro-the ultimate Rooney defender. Wetin you won talk about hin performance today? ![]() |
Mourinho would be silly to play Rooney in midfield next season. Elampiro yes I said it. |
bykebyke:I'm not you that needs to google everything. I wasn't born then but I've have studied and understood these events a long time ago. I only provide proof to what i know already. You will see the log ofThis was established in 1971. How was it founded the same year as the Taca Brasil? When did i say it was founded the same year? Look at the new silly image you're posting that won't help you. The competition that you googled showing that table you posted is a unification of 3 tournaments one of which was what you were referring to as "league titles". You see how ignorant you appear again? ![]() You're simply posting stuff from wikipedia but i doubt you were reading them or maybe you had but were just incapable of understanding. I'm asking you again, show me where in those your wikipedia pages those stuff won by Pele were referred to as "league titles". If you fail to do this again, then don't expect another reply from me. I have explained enough to you already but it's obvious you're just incapable of understanding or simply refusing to learn. I have identified you now and won't waste much time trying to explain to you next time. I know exactly how to deal with folks like you |
bykebyke:You are even more confused than I thought. You're referring to old football championships/tournaments as league titles? What kind of illiteracy is this? You need to know what is a league title or even a title. Those tournaments/championships are simply not "league titles". They are even closer to analogues of cups like the FA or Copa dey rel in Spain. Do your research and find out the formats of these events and how they're won. I've even taken the time to explain to you how those competitions were but you are just screaming everywhere "league titles" when there was no such thing far back then. Tournaments like the FA cup in England are even older than the PL or most divisions but it simply cannot and will never be referred to as a "title" Those tournaments in Brazil are simply not "league titles" and that's why I've maintained your assertion is false from the beginning. If you can't do this then you're simply an illiterate like I said earlier; The image you posted couldn't help you either. Show me where it referred to those tournaments won as "League titles". |
bykebyke:You're an illiterate and you deserve to be addressed as such when you display such ignorance. I already told there were no exact league titles then but comprehension is failing you here. What you're listing here are simply not league titles. You're referring to a tournament involving knock out rounds as a league title? You barely understand anything of which you're talking about. Stop saying "league titles" like an illiterate because an analogue of such just didn't exist then. The If we were to go by the absurdity of your logic, then the "Torneio Rio – São Paulo" should even be the league title because it was by far more prestigious and the most difficult to win of the local tournaments in Brazil. So basically Pele, never had more than 6 titles even in total. He won at least 10. Again we can also refer to the "Taça Brasil" as the football league then because the winner contested in the continental South American tournament for clubs. It started in 1959 and was disbanded in 1968, so how could Pele have won more of this? Like i said already, you're simply ignorant of these things and it seems you're regurgitating petty facts you saw somewhere. They won't help in a debate with me. Stop discussing what you know little about. |
Spain are really missing Xavi. They are losing the midfield battle too easily. |
bykebyke:You're talking nonsense here again and i'll prove that. Brazil due to the size and geography of the country didn't have a unified league in Pele's time(I won't go deep into this). I'm certain you didn't know this. What you listed as 6 Brazilian league titles are not exactly the league titles of today. Even going by that you erroneous assertion, you're still wrong. Pele won his first "Campeonato Brasileiro Série A" ( or Brazilian league titles according to you) in 1961. Pele won born in 1940. Do the math and watch yourself get embarrassed. |
You're free to disagree with my posts but you should state your reasons and be able to stand by it. If you can't do this, then stop bothering to reply my posts. |
Messi has a poor mentality to be honest. I'm disappointed in him. There's simply no justification for the things he said recently and the quitting from his national team. It goes beyond just footballing ability; Messi doesn't or simply cannot inspire his teammates like Maradona or Cryff at the highest level. I bet those guys would've had more success in this current Argentina team than Messi. Messi fanboys should stop with these the silly excuses like Hinguain. Some people achieved more with poorer players. I can't just find any excuse for Messi currently. It's pretty obvious; He's not the same player in Barcelona and his national team and we all know why. When I was pointing out in this thread previously that most Barcelona folks are simply getting ahead of themselves to place Messi in a conversation of GOATs like Pele or Maradona, they thought i didn't know what was saying and even winning the COPA wouldn't have changed that. Currently he simply doesn't belong there to be fair. I think he'll come out of retirement in time for Russia 2018. It would be his final international tournament and I'll be wishing him Goodluck. |
tobiboss: donjazet:watch it here |
Aguero FFS ![]() |
donjazet:You can watch it here. |
coded01:That's the recent matches this ref has handled. I don't know how or why he got the finals. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Cl6zyb7UsAE5zZE.jpg bykebyke:Messi knew exactly what he was doing. It was a dive and i don't even like the way he was calling for a card to be awarded against the the Chilean player who had no options in that incident. The referee saw through all that easily and Messi got booked rightfully and i think that was one of the very few decisions this referee has gotten right. |
Now that's not a straight red. This referee isn't very good. ![]() |
Messi diving ![]() |
Chile are a man down now, though i think it's incredibly harsh. Argentina should go on and win this. No excuses whatsoever. |
bykebyke:False. |
Odunharry:Kroos is excellent but sincerely i'd rather have Modric in my team. Modric appears to be a level above Kroos when they play together and it's not a slight on Kroos (who sometimes isn't in his best postion) but it's because Modric is that good or better. |
dmcdad:It's wholely your personal opinion here, nothing against that. This is not to say the others were whack. Nah, far from it. Just that, Pelé for me did alot regardless of what or how people see it with his closest partner in crime.True this; a lot of factors and involved and the game has changed a lot. And since I have been watching footie, I had never seen a player that was tactically marked like Messi. If you have seen, maybe you should saddle with me with it, but I have seen tactics deployed specifically against Messi and I have had nothing but pity of how he had coped thus far. Imagine when Pelé played, they played without any defensive setup like today, not to mention the goalies were ridiculously poor. Little wonder you rarely hear of any goalie of old who was great in his time. This is not to play down Pelé's achievement in any way, but to open up the fact that some other factors should also come into play. This exactly is why alot would say there is no need to compare players from different generations. This is a whole load of nonsense. You don't need to invent excuses for Messi not being as great as Pele. It's ridiculous even for me as a fan of Messi. I could give you excuses that players in Pele time had it much more difficult because football rules then were such that the top players were heavily fouled and a lot of tackles used then would be illegal currently. Pele literally got kicked out from a World cup due to this; He was fouled so severely that he became terribly injured and couldn't go on with the tournament. I could give even better excuses and this is a cycle that could go and on, so such stuff are quite redundant in determining greats. I told you Pele was light years ahead of his time but it seems you're in doubt and that's why you'd say this. The biggest stage is the world cup and Messi has failed to delivered there to be considered GOAT. It's the same reason folks like Di Stefano who both Pele and Maradona refer to as the best, or Platini who had excellent club career and showed amazing consistency, Cruyff who influenced football more than anyone in his time etc are not mentioned in the same breath as Pele, or even Maradona. The CL is too small a stage compared to the world cup. Regardless Pele dominated both club football and internationally. Most young people think the only reason Pele is considered above Messi is because he has 3 world cup wins which is a lot of bull crap. They simply do not know enough of him. Take your time, do some good research and study. The media of today is enough to kill a player's career. Media hype and all that pressure has killed lots of players.Simply more ridiculous excuses here. It's beyond obvious that you like don't have sufficient knowledge on great players like Pele or Maradona to compare them to Messi. It's normal, it's same for most folks but Messi or modern fans are more likely to express such ignorance though because he's their favorite player and the best they've seen in their time. I saw this written on a forum by someone old enough and who i sincerely believe is an expert on the subject and i'll leave you with that. " It doesn't surprise me one bit that the farther back we go the greater the praise. It's not romanticism, it's first hand experience. Kids today idolise Messi, are open-minded about Maradona, but start getting sceptical with Pelé. My generation idolises Maradona, doesn't think Messi has anything on him, is open minded about Pelé and less comfortable with Di Stefano. Go back further and Diego is the pretender, Pelé the real deal, Di Stefano the realistic contender... and so on. It's normal and entirely a reflection of our own ignorance, nothing to do with the players or how good they really were.." |
