Diademk07:Mikhi was voted the fans best player and the league's MVP in 2012. Willian was still a player at Shaktar then. What was Willian doing when Mikhi was doing this? Willian had to move to a useless club in Russia in January 2013 while Mikhi finished that season top scorer in the league and setting a record number of goals and that earned him his move to Dortmund. How anyone can anyone say Willian was better than Mikhi then? [s]I didn't ask you for this now. This is what you should've said initially instead of jumping on my post and trying to appear smart by correcting an error which never existed. |
AdeLaNa1:I've been seeing his moniker for a while exhibiting gross stupidity on various threads and hating on United while being an Arsenal fan. I think i will start spending more time here; these Arsenal folks too often forget their place these days. |

chrisley024:Willian is an average footballer at best. His greatest assets is his work rate but his productivity is extremely low. He's 28 and in his peak years. He's a mediocre footballer to be honest but he could excel in a Mourinho set up. Chelsea would ask too much for him and it's disgusts me that we even got linked to him. Mane would offer us good work rate and even greater productivity. Mane is still very young( I think he's 23/24) and can only improve further and become better in his peak years. Mane is extremely fast and his explosiveness is a joy to watch. He basically gurantees goals/assists and even when he's underperforming he remains a nuisance to opposition defenders. The only issue I've with Mane is that he's gonna cost a lot even more than Mikhi. Southhampton don't sell cheap. |
Diademk07:Stop being silly. You don't use matches against Chelsea to make assumptions over the course of an entire season. Mikhi was the best player in that Shaktar team and I'll prove it now. He scored the record number of goals in the Ukranian league, surely he was the highest goal scorer in that Shaktar team. He was voted the league's(Ukranian) best player. He was also voted best player by the Shaktar fans. Where were Willian and co when he was doing all these? I don't even know why you quoted me when it's obvious you've nothing reasonable to say. |
Jamie Vardy has signed a new contract at Leceister. It's official. He has rejected Arsenal. ![]() |
Keky:How can he be a PL champ when he has never played in the PL? What kind of stupidity is this? Keky:Your lunancy here again is ridiculous. To Hummels, United is a cut above every single PL club and he would have joined if we offered him CL football. There were other clubs with CL football like Arsenal that year but these clubs are simple useless and won't meet up with the whole criteria he stated. Stop being silly. |
afrodoc2:I'm also very sceptical about signings from Dortmund. Only Lewandoski has left that club and go on to do well in recent times. Dortmund system is too setup for most of these players and enables them to thrive easily. I still rate Mkhi though. I remember he was the best player in a Shaktar team that had Willian, Douglas Costa, Texeira etc. and most of them ended up good players so I think it's gonna be very difficult for him to completely fail. |
@Dadehmola I think you're really underrating Mane. He's more than what you're describing. The problem is we aren't even being linked with him. I'll hate to see him go to Liverpool. |
chrisley024:They are not going home. Portugal would face Croatia i think. |
lekkie073:RVP was a world class striker at that point in time, we were buying from Arsenal a rival and City were also interested. We paid a premium but it was justified. The situations/circumstances are different. |
lekkie073:No, i'm simply saying we shouldn't overpay for a player. |
chrisley024:He could sign a pre contract with us by January but the problem is by then we won't be the only top club interested in him. I bet even Bayern would swoop in for him. Dortmund would surely sell, we simply don't know how long this would drag on or the consequences that would come with it. |
Diademk07:He's not worth that amount. He's 27 years, on the last year of his contract and is not a world class player. Even 35 is a rip off. We should stop overpaying for players. |
SailorXY:He's too risky especially at the reported prices. |
I hope we aren't signing Embolo. |
SailorXY:Arsenal is one extremely useless club. This is quite easy to figure out. The other day they were having orgasms of Mikhi joining them when he was never gonna leave Dortmund for that useless club. Even with CL. Jamie Vardy too has even rejected them ![]() 29 year old Jamie Vardy rejecting Arsenal. ![]() |
Diademk07:Guy calm down na. I meant no harm. ![]() |
ollah1:The last time you said silly sh1t like this, I ensured you ended up running away with your balls between your legs. Believe me, it won't be any different this time. |
Ronaldo o ![]() |
dopeJemi:TBH you've started another argument with this ![]() |
dopeJemi:I know but I know him by that all the same as it's his major and initial moniker. This new clown has been more active recently. |
A40:We all know this. I can't give him higher than 50% he's not set the league on fire till this yearFair enough and that should reflect on his price. He's a 27 player on the last year of his contract. You are really underrating the chasing pack. Schalke, Leverkusen, Wolfsburg and Gladbach.I'm not underrating any chasing pack. As it stands, some of those clubs have lost some of their best players and are bound to lose even more. Dortmund isn't gonna finish out of 4 that easily but even if they were to finish out of top 4, I don't see how much an unhappy Mikhi would do to change that. He's most likely never gonna replicate this performance again for Dortmund. The loss of Mkhitaryan their highest assist provider would be negligible? Even after losing Hummels and Guendogan? You think Aubameyang will not follow? Wolfsburg lost just De Bruyne and see where they endedSo you think it's right for Dortmund to deny Mikhi his dream move when they let Gundogan and Hummels leave? 2 German players who have stayed longer and are supposed to be more loyal compared to a foreigner in Mikhi who is Armenian? Did those players become too big for Dortmund too? What is the logic in that? Dortmund are simply playing hardball here. You mean they are fine being Bayern's b1tch but would put up a fight because it's not Bayern but United? They are only playing hardball here insisting that's he's not going (until he gets sold) and don't wanna send a bad signal to other players. So it is Dembele, Bartra or Mor from Danish League that would help them compete with Bayern. Even Simeone cannot do thatEven when those top players did not leave, they weren't able to compete with Bayern. I admire Dortmund as a club but they'll never be able to compete with Bayern unless they improve their revenue and financial standings. They have a good scouting network, top notch football management etc but they can only win stuff or be successful when Bayern is in a bad spell or going through football troubles. That's simply not competition! They are a feeder club currently and trying to be build up themselves. It's a cycle but a model that might be successful in the long run but would require a lot of time. Whatever they get would not be enough if they miss out on CL football. That extra season would give Mor and Dembele time to adapt instead of being thrown straight into the fireYou are being naive here. It would be quite silly for Dortmund to throw €30-40 away by losing a player on a free because they are unsure they'll make CL football without him and I doubt it'll go that way. At best they get the money early and shop for a replacement who would slot in easily. They are very much capable in that way. If he chooses to be unhappy that is his problem. It just shows he is a poor professional and he would look bad to his prospective employersI doubt his prospective employers would care that much when they are gonna get him on a free and he could sign a pre contract as early as January. He's most likely not gonna leave the next club putting up a fight because he'll be old by then and this is his last big move and chance to earn a very good income compared to what he's getting now at Dortmund or what they could offer in his new contract. Players aren't fools, they wanna win stuff but also want to get paid very well. Dortmund cannot offer either consistently. At United now with Mourinho in charge, getting paid well is already guranteed(we can pay very good wages even Bayern can only dream of) and there's a very good chance of winning stuff too. That's why it's not so difficult to figure out why he wants to come to United. Now thinking of this, Bayern could very well be in the mix and get him for free next season while they become stronger and weaken Dortmund who would receive no fee for him and I'm not in the slightest suprised you'd want things to end up that way. You are a Bayern fan after all. |
Kagawa has been inactive for a while now but it seems we have a new resident lunatic. |
A40:These agents do their job well obviously. There's a reason most top players have them as agents. I don't think Klopp was the one making him miss those one on ones that earned him the name Missitaryan. He was the architect of his own misfortune or maybe he was just slow at adjusting. Douglas Costa also came from UkraineHe had a decent first season but the 2nd was quite poor (Dortmund season was quite bad) and the 3rd excellent. That's what I meant by saying he hasn't been entirely poor. Dortmund are flush with cash. Most of their signings have been cheap and at a bargain. If keeping Mikhi for another season would help them qualify then so be it. If not they at least make a statement. Anything less than €30m is an insult as they might still need to spend exactly that to get a ready made replacement either wayKeeping Mikhi would help them qualify for what? I hope you don't mean champions league as they have one tied up for next year because I don't any serious Bundesliga team displacing them from the 2nd position. Losing Mikhi might be a loss but it's quite negligible in the scheme of things and I know they'll snap a replacement for him in no time or maybe they even one already in Dembele or mor though it remains to be seen. The challenge should be finishing first against Bayern and doing well in Europe. Less than €30 is not an insult for a player on the last year of his contract knowing they could lose the player for free (even to Bayern) and get nothing next season and they'll have an unhappy player on their hands who most likely won't perform going by history of his sensitivity and temperament. It's gonna be lose lose for Dortmund here. United like throwing cash away but there's a reason we bidded that low and it was spot on. |
A40:Raiola has earned himself a bad reputation over the years given how he whores his client from club to club to earn his commission but Mendes is even more than that. He owns some percentage of certain players and sells flops. When Fergie got too close to him, United ended up with Bebe who Fergie later admitted he never saw play. He has some good players on his list though and gave us successes like Ronaldo, Nani and Anderson(who later flopped). The key is not to get too close with him because he can be quite handy. Mkhitaryan is all of a sudden too good for Dortmund after one decent season. I never tagged him to be a mediocre but prior to last season I would say he was well on his way to being one of the biggest flops in Bundesliga history. For all we know last season might have been a flukeIt could be or not. He was the best player in the Ukrainian league before heading to Dortmund but Klopp just couldn't get him to work and he spent some valuable time being injured. It's all subjective and debatable. If he is adamant on not extending and missing out on CL football I hope Dortmund can get €35-40m on himHe's in the last year of his contract and wants to move. If Dortmund plays hardball and refuses to sell at a decent, he could sign a pre-contract with another club in January and leave at the end of the season with Dortmund getting nothing. Another thing is not all players are professional like Lewandoski who is like a modern day mercenary and could still deliver on the pitch with issues like that hanging in air during his last season at Dortmund and Mikhi seems to be very sensitive and i doubt he would deliver a respectable level of performance if he doesn't get his wish move. It's not looking very good for Dortmund here and that's why anything above 30 is paying over the odds but i won't be surprised if United get ripped off. |
A40:I think Raiola deserves more credit than that though he's obviously not in the same league as Mendes. Dortmund is a selling club, it's the reality. I know he arrived at Dortmund through a big money move from Shaktar and even when his performances were underwhelming, Dormund couldn't get him to commit to a new contract or even now because the wages are never gonna be big enough compared to what Bayern pays or some PL club would. I would not say he's exactly a mediocre player but his mentality is questionable and consistency over the years unreliable. He was poor in Klopp's system but Tuchel finally got him fit and firing. He alongside Aubameyang were Dortmund's most important attacking players last season and that's something. Dortmund currently is a cut above almost all Bundesliga club but there's a staggering disparity between Dortmund's revenue and Bayern. That's the reality and why this keeps happening to them. I hope United get him for the right price. |
elampiro:That dude couldn't even figure out that you were on his side? ![]() |
MrTA:I don't mind him playing as few minutes as possible in the Euros because this French team won't win it and i'd rather have him fresh for next season. |
Martial has been subbed off and it's not a surprise as he was quite terrible. |
A40 i heard United are in for Mikhi. I thought this Dortmund bloke Watzke always maintained that Dormund won't sell more than 2 key players in a season which they've done already for this season so i'm wondering how this is all gonna play out. |
The French midfield is all over the place. They need to slow down and dictate the tempo. |
