It seems you didnt read the FBI report at all .There were several chats with Hushpuppi who was clearly telling him to hold on to the guy for long so that he wont be able to jeopardize his plans to scam the Qatari. So bin that kidnapping or attempt on relatives' lives tales by the disgraced cop. He also went to DUBAI where he was hosted by Hushpuppi with video evidence of the latter's driver picking him up and coming over to his house. Jerryherd: One , no money wether cash or bank transfer was traced to him directly
Two , the detention of hushpuppy fellow fraudster was based on allegations of attempted kidnapping
His major offense is detention of the suspect beyond 48 hours stipulated
Second offense admitting to be into tailoring business which is a direct violation of police service act, as you can't have any other paid occupation apart from your federal government job
Both cases doesn't. Warrant dismissal |

Two things to consider. 1.He us in Germany, can he speak German fluently ? I doubt it so this is the kind of job that requires just passable German. 2.He must be around 60 years now.In that field of his study, there would be limited options for him as many jobs will require age to job grade. He definitely wont be a fit. The man has to keep body and soul together and the asylum benefits can only cover housing, food and minimal transportation.. No one should even deride him, there is dignity in labour. If you recall,Gowon our former President during his exile was seen queuing up for food .The optics was so bad for a country enjoying oil boom then that the government that sacked him had to be sending him monthly allowance. . tamdun: Me self shock o, the man can get himself a good job with his qualifications, this story get k-leg |

So going by your own analogy too, were the southern part of Nigeria indigenous people originally Christians too. Never say never and nothing is impossible are two mantras that have been time tested LegalWolf: Quite surprising you’re referring me to the history of Ottomans! I’ve studied these people’s history since jss 2. But that’s a story for another day.
The point is : it is IMPOSIBBLE to forcibly islamize Nigeria. Comparing that to what played out in Turkey is baseless. There’s no “Byzantine” to conquer by the North. The time has changed. This is not 452AD for crying out loud!!!!!
Then again, you’re quick to point out the conquest and conversion of Assyria and Near East. If we are to apply your logic, where those places indigenous to Christianity? Didn’t the Romans conquer the indigenous people there too and forcibly convert them to Christianity after constantin? |
Politics › Re: Plans To Islamise Nigeria Is Real – Commodore Kunle Olawumi by GEEBITE: 7:37pm On Aug 25, 2021 |
You should have asked how possible to Islamize Turkey the home of Constatin the first Emperor to convert to Christianity and his city fortress renamed today Istanbul from Constantinople. You should have asked how possible for Syria the home of the first Church in Antioch to become an Islamic country now. Open your mind and broaden your horizon, nothing is impossible in this world with a set of aligning ideologies. 5 centuries from now, AMERICA can become a majority Muslim nation. LegalWolf: Loool. This news is for slowpokes apparently. They’ll jubilate without thinking about it. How is it possible to islamize Nigeria? Like how possible? You can’t even forcible islamize anyone without massive uproar. But in any event, the OP knows his audience.
And on whether Buhari is a failure. It’s crazy how people still think that man is a failure. He is a calamity with a mixture of disaster. He has done more harm to us Fulani than any human in history. |

Are there 12 seasons in a year now, and is €1 equal to £1? Also, the 35m Euros is net income, so tax has already been factored. If it was gross, his net income wouldn't have been more than €20m. |

That is the major issue with people from upstate areas and down south face whenever they are in the big apple. They are so used to driving and getting around easily in their slow pace cities.
My humble self with UK and Europeanbackground find it easier to commute in NY than my mates who have been in the states for a quarter of a century.
My constant routine on landing at JFK.Hook up to the sky train straight to Jamaica Queens, deescalte to the train station and take the next available train to Penn Station in downtown. Connect NJ Transit or Amtrak depending on where I'm heading to in NJ which is either New Brunswick or New Milford.
My cousin and bro in law both are always amazed when I ring their bells how easy and convenient I always make their lives as they even hardly come to the train station not to talk of airport to pick me up..
{quote author=Tourist123 post=104473517]This is actually my first time to New York. I have been living in the New England region for quite some time now and my popular route is New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts. Today is my first time of leaving the New England area. So my gist: After dropping from the bus, I had a tough time using the subway. The Address that the Airbnb host sent me was incomplete, the people I showed the address couldn’t make sense of the direction via Subway. Nevertheless, I entered the subway only to discover that I need a Metro Card to access the train. After wondering helplessly in the subway, a good Samaritan offered to use her card to give me the pass. I entered the subway and started another round of rigmarole. The first train I entered took me to Manhattan, my Airbnb apartment is at Brooklyn. I contacted the guy and after much explanation, I stopped at a particular train terminal and entered the right train in the proper direction. For the first time in my life I felt so clueless.[/quote] |

Look at the joke called decor. Millions probably was awarded to a crony for that shoddy job. presidency: OPENING REMARKS BY THE HONOURABLE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE FEDERATION AND MINISTER OF JUSTICE AT THE INUAGURATION CEREMONY OF THE GOVERNING COUNCIL OF THE NATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION, THIS 2ND DAY OF AUGUST 2021 AT THE HAGF CONFERENCE CHAMBERS ABUJA
The Chairperson, Governing Council of the NHRC, The Executive Secretary, NHRC, Members of the Governing Council NHRC, Directors of the Ministry of Justice, Members of the press, Ladies and Gentlemen.
I am indeed delighted to be here today to inaugurate the 5TH Governing Council of the National Human Rights Commission. This is pursuant to the directive of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation for me to inaugurate the Council on behalf of the President, Commander- in- Chief.
As you are aware, the Commission was established by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 1995 in fulfilment of its international obligation pursuant to 20th Dec 1993 Resolution 48/134 of the United Nations General Assembly that enjoined all member States to establish National Human Rights Institutions for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights. This followed the adoption of the Paris Principles of 1993 for the Establishment of National Human Rights Institutions at the 2nd World Conference on Human Rights in Paris 1993. The first world conference on human rights had been held in Vienna Austria in 1991.
The Government amended the NHRC Act in 2010 for its operational independence by entrenching the tenure of members and ensuring adequate funding and effectiveness of the Commission. Since the 2010 Amendment of the NHRC Act, members are nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate before appointment letters are issued. Again the funds of the Commission are now under the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Federation. This means that funds appropriated for the Commission are released one hundred percent to perform its functions.
Furthermore, the 2010 amendment provided that in the discharge of its functions and exercise of its powers, the Commission shall not be under the control of any authority or person. All these measures have been taken to ensure that the Commission is able to advise the Government properly in the fulfilment of its international human rights obligations and protect and promote the human rights of Nigerians and persons living in Nigeria without fear or favor in line with the Paris Principles. It is known fact that the present government had complied with the award of damages for victims of the 2012 Apo killings of Okada riders by security agents, as well complied with the 2018 White paper recommendations on Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigerian Police. The disbandment of SARS and the setting up of Various panels of Inquiry investigating and awarding damages for human rights violations by SARS is a clear testimony to the fact that this government is fulfilling its international obligation to set up an independent National Human Rights Commission for the Promotion and protection of the rights of Nigerians.
I am happy to note that in recognition of the compliance of the Commission with the Paris Principles, the Commission has been graded with ‘A Status’ in the comity of national Human Rights Institutions by the Global Alliance for National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI). The Commission has affiliate status with the African Commission on Human and Peoples Rights. These give the Commission access to all necessary meetings at the UN and AU Levels. This is indeed gratifying and it beholds on the Governing Council to uphold and improve on the standard achieved by the previous Councils and the Management of the Commission before now.
Council Members should be guided by the Act, and relevant Government Circulars on tenure, the part-time mandate of members except the Executive Secretary, emoluments etc. Furthermore, in discharging your duties, you are bound by the Code of Conduct for Public Officials and you are expected to take an oath of office before the resumption of your duties.
I want to use this opportunity to commend the Executive Secretary, staff and Management of the National Human Rights Commission who have managed the affairs of the Commission pending the appointment and inauguration of this Council for holding the forth without blemish. I look forward to a cordial working relationship between the Management and the Council to ensure steady progress and achievement of greater heights for the Commission in the near future.
At this Juncture, I wish to congratulate the Chairperson and Members and hereby inaugurate your Council.
Abubakar Malami SAN Honorable Attorney General of the Federation And Minister of Justice. |
