The headline reads "Nigerians" who have won the FA cup not Nigeria internationals . Fash holds the Nigerian passport and even came to train with super eagles in the early 80s but was not picked by the coach .He lives in Abuja now where he has busineses and properties. Kindly amend your list to make him the first Nigerian to won fA cup or change the topic to reflect if it is limited to only those that donned the SE Jersey.
Dont bet on that. His deportation is consequent upon how he acquired Brtish citizenship if it is by naturalisation and jail term is up to 7 years,he is toast and on the way home. Nigeria is not yet in that turmoil that can be considered as one which can render him stateless . He cant claim to be homosexual now as he has been caught soliciting a girl(minor) so that route too is blocked for him. I am afraid for Jeff Oginseyi except his citizenship is by Birth or Descent.
grandstar: I doubt he will be deported. He's bound to be British so will not suffer that fate.
It depends on how he acquired his British citizenship. If it is by naturalisation and he is slammed with a jail term of up to 7 years, then he is completely finished as he will be deported and stripped of that citizenship except it will render him stateless. But if his citizenship is by Birth or Descent, he wont face deportation but all other sanctions listed will apply to him.
pocohantas: I love what I am reading. They should send him back to Nigeria where anything goes. Here in Nigeria, someone would have led a protest for his case and any lady that condemns him would be called an angry evening newspaper/feminist.
As na them be the only men wey dey the whole world. Toor!
The President that can not speak with his own mouth.
benjackugo: President Muhammadu Buhari, today Sunday 9th May, attended the closing of 2021 Ramadan Tafseer at the State House Mosque Abuja, IgbereTV reports.
You assumed I am kid right and a typo on a name is insignificant to this subject at hand. FYI,I have known Carlos since he was in HSBC and I have knowledge of how he was recruited into UBN Nigeria .Also he was never ratified by CBN as ED even though he wielded the powers of ED as head of the retail business.
Okortor: Wanderley not wanderlay. Yes, inquire from the time he joined the bank and the improvement both in deposit mobilization and other wise. Prolly u work or worked with ubn but m certain u are or were at the Branch level. Hence u av no idea.
Jangbajatis was in 2000 and Lanre Fasasi (sound sultan)who was a year my senior in high school is 44 years now, that made him 23 years then. The girl looked like a 12 year old then even though she has a small stature. She cant be less than 30 anyway,so let's take it easy on her. She is an amazing singer.
orlahtohbadt: Jagbajantis was in 2002 or 2003 there about. She looks like a 12 or 13 year old in that picture which correlates with the claim of her being 30. I know how age sometimes look deceiving. If I were to be a star too, people wouldn't believe I'm 29.
Where are the pictures of the 3 contractors he brought .This Garba man is a real Garbage,he has put Lai Mohammed in the shade. Imagine a picture ops that included the VP so as to blackmail Osinbanjo into silence as well.
"Christians will take over all the middle east too by God's Grace".That is your prayer being inverted. How does that sound to you and by the way why do you want to take over another person's space?
Father4all: Moslem will take over Europe gradually insha Allah
The height of it,she must have taken a big chunk of the poor man's money. Some of them old broads are even twerking shamelessly. By the way, what is this ass flaunting in pictures by women lately.Married women and even kids below age 10 are not left out.
Patrioticman007: The fact that Peter a disciple denied Jesus son of Mary (as) 3 times & is still regarded as father of Christianity, why won't Isa aka Jesus in Islam, be excused for understanding denial better.
Its on record an ex CAN president didn't resign, when his private jet was caught in South Africa for arms dealing & GEJ neither resign too for keeping relationship with an arms dealer, however the islamaphobist news media kept mute over the story.
So you were friends with late Priye.he was a smashing guy. May his soul and that of his Dad Paul rest in peace.
naptu2: I had a friend whose father was a football star in the 1950s, '60s and '70s. His father also coached the Super Eagles in the 1980s and the Super Falcons in the 1990s.
You would think that my friend would love football but it was quite the opposite.
My friend was a tennis star and he represented Nigeria in the 1990s. He hated football. He was always ranting that football fans were violent thugs and that the government paid too much attention to football.
Anyway, Nigeria defeated Greece at the 1994 World Cup and then I saw my friend the next day. He was ranting that the players had gone to disgrace Nigeria. "It was shown all over the world!"
I was confused because we played well and beat Greece. Then someone else told me what he was ranting about. Finidi George's goal celebration!
"That thing was shown on CNN! They'll think that's how Nigerians are" he complained. I couldn't stop laughing.
Real Betis Legend not Mallorca .He has a spot in that massive stadium dedicated for hanging is bowler hat he put on whenever he scored a goal..He made it a point of duty to score against big teams like Madrid and Barca.
You are right,Sunday Oliseh was born 1969 and I am certain Finidi will be like two years older than him.
ajl: C"mon Finidi, how can we be age mate, with just two months difference. Sunday Oliseh was my headboy when I was in Form 4 at MBHS Lagos, then he was in A-Level Upper Class 6. Even I was still the youngest in my class as everyone was older than me by a year..
Oh my the legendary Archie McPherson. My big aunty a football buff will ask if the commentary by him or she is not interested in a.match .Thank God we have Peter Drury and Jim Beglin now,
naptu2: Finidi George's goal against Bayern Munich in the 1995 Champions League.
Wike a barrister at Law is a thug and semi literate but Dapo Abiodun a university drop out is the educated and fine gentleman . It's all good for open bias.
idealogical: 1. I was going to opine that the IG should have been fired a long time ago, but our policing problems has little to do with the IG, but more about Nigerians, ourselves as citizens, we are too criminally minded, too disorderly and lawless, every aspect of pour lives is all about money and we are willing to do anything to get that money including killing, stealing, kidnapping, and banditry.
2. The Nigerian police can not stop or end ethnic and tribal tensions and the communal violence and killings they create, this is not a police problem, this is our individual problem as Nigerians.
3. The Nigerian police at the moment is nothing but a waste of money because all we have now are just men and women in uniform showing up to collect salaries without doing anything. The caliber of people within the police system should not be part of any law enforcement because most are illiterates and very uneducated, they don't know anything about policing and their day to day existence is all about monetizing their uniforms to put money in their pockets and they'll go after money before even paying attention to criminal activities around them, but I must admit that there are a few good ones, the selfless ones that took their jobs seriously and paid the ultimate sacrifice while doing their job, but most are worthless and a waste of resources.
4. Everywhere you go in Nigeria, private and government services are all monetized operations from drivers license to passport office or any government-related functions all get rich quick operations, we are too predisposed to illegalities, love and affection for dishonesty and illegalities, this is our way of life so it's just too hard and almost impossible for any government institution like the police to function.
5. Lastly, we don't have a professional police force, I won't even call them police because they don't function and resemble police in any form, they are poorly trained and educated, ill-equipped and definitely not mentally formatted to fight or go after criminal activities and there are many instances where policemen/women in uniform either watch or walk away from criminal activities.
6. I was going to suggest state police, but many of our governors are thugs and semi illiterates sitting in governors mansions, I see thugs like Wike in Rivers abusing state police and using it to terrorize political opponents and critics, but I'm 100% sure that some states like Lagos state are ready for state police, but not all.
Swapping IGs every day, means nothing, it's still the same old wine in a new bottle, the whole police and law enforcement structure must be scrapped and retooled for optimal efficiency to serve the people.
I thought I was the only one that feels nothing spectacular with that view. Seems her wealth isnt rubbing off on her well. That view in this picture is drab.
BarrElChapo: Boooooring ! This banana island is really hyped. Your view is telecommunications masts and three storey buildings
Too many holes in s BIO.The Ibadan home school has denied way back that he attended the school. Also no record of high school in Nigeria at all but gained admission to Richard Daley College Chicago. The son's age at death was not revealed in the obituary so as to hide the father's age. Learnt he was about 50years then. This man has a vet hazy background.
mutumina007: Happy Birthday to an example of a technocrat as political hero. From all of us at COSGABAT.
Celebration of a visionary and strategic leader by the COALITION OF SUPPORT GROUPS FOR ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU (COSGABAT)
He did not donate a dime to the burnt Akesan market in my hometown despite the tragedy occurring on the first day of year 2020. When will these Southern leaders learn.Wike too donated N500m to Sokoto burnt markt. I am certain the market in Kano or Bauchi will soon get razed.
But it is bigger than Lagos and Ekiti states and those two states have FMC.If you combine Bayelsa landmass and its body of waters,it is bigger than Rivers state. Not to talk of Imo and Abia states.
Vaughanlanrewaj: She is actually right. Bayelsa is a small state but it does not mean they are lesser citizens or more of a citizen than those of Mubi. Fresh Senator Dickson is just getting use to how things are conducted in the Senate unlike the usually more youthful and loud House of Reps. Even down south, we all know Bayelsa is small in size and population so he is not changing any fact if he spends 3 days on canoe to go round his LGA because we all know that water transportation is slow.visit www.freestuffsng.com for latest freestuffs in Nigeria.
Unknown professor to an Ignorant person like you. If you had gone to a proper university like the great Ife,you would have heard the exploits of the Professor Emeritus Akintoye one of the greatest historians produced in Yoruba land.A man who became a senator in 1979 in the same Ondo state when Akeredolu probably just finished high school at Loyola.
kingthreat: Unknown professor seeking relevance he has not found in decades of his career and trying to use an uneducated tout to actualize his vain fantasies. Africa is better united. Say no to secession.
