A Ghanaian whose country is begging people to beg people that will beg imf is talking about economic issues.
You can't even sign your own laws because your slave masters have openly threatened you.
Your country is in an economic mess and IMF is your only lifeline.
The only difference between Nigerians and you docile buffoons is Nigerian are vocal.
A country whose parliament was in darkness during the state of the nation address is talking electricity.
You airport was thrown into darkness Last week which is an indication of the terrible state of things in your country.
Your country was so messed up that people, in 2019, tried over throwing the incompetent government..
And yes, those coup plotters have been sentenced to death by hanging.

Lol... you guys do not waist a second to pull the "size card" in any discussions. This is not about size my bro. Far more bigger and wealthier nations than nigeria have descended into anarchy. Trust me... it is never my intention to denigrate nigeria because of its issues, I will never do that. But tell me, when in the history of nigeria has the extreme forms of insecurity, youth umemployment, high cost of living, kidnapping, banditory, highway robbery, high inflation, looting all occurring at the same time. In the past all these issues occur one after the other and they existed in lesser magnitude conpared to now. You can correct me if I am wrong. I just pray our (Ghana and Nigeria) leaders are guided to make the best decisions that serve the interest of the ordinary man. Peace
These things are happening yes, but they happen and then they reduce for a while in certain areas.

For example, surroundings of Abuja and Mangu in Plateau were hot beds in December and January. Today it is some villages in Benue, Katsina, and Zamfara. In the past, there was sit at home in the South East and unknown Gunmen, today you hardly hear of them. In 2018, it was fulani herdsmen killing villagers everywhere. It's no longer at same rate it was in 2018 today.

In Obasanjo's time the biggest issues were Niger Delta Militants and we were always running in PortHarcourt. Sometimes you had Plateau crises as well or Southern Kaduna crises spring their ugly heads once in a while in those times too then subside.

Must someone explain to you how a distabilized nigeria will affect the rest of west africa and ghana more precisely?
What do you think it would take to have a destabilised Nigeria? You think Nigeria is a small country that can be easily grounded by such issues it's currently facing?

In 2016, Nigeria had recession and 100% fall of the naira, were you also afraid then? 😂😀

In 2013/2014, Bokoharam/Iswap were dominant in a landmass almost the size of Belgium within Nigeria. Nigeria was fighting such a war within yet growing at 6% with single digit inflation. No destabilisation.

So it's more complex than you assume.

Come on man.. Your country is currently undergoing a serious economic meltdown, coupled with massive youth unemployment, insecurity, no electricity, theft and rampant looting of goods. Whilst Ghanaians are fervently praying it doesn't degenerate into something beyong our control, this is what you could write about Ghana. And for one to think you are typing this hate speech towards Ghanaians from your comfortable residence in Ghana is so bizzare. Any way keep it up. I never expected anything better from you people.

Did you say "shoe shine Ghanaians"... oboy this is not 80s oo. Ghana level don change abeg. You guys just can't come to terms with this fact, but hey learn to accept it.

Actually my best Arsenal was not the early days of Wenger. That is Henry, Bergkamp, Kanu, Wiltord, Pires, Parlour etc. My best was the Hleb, Rosicky, Fabregas time. I think Nasri, Van Persie were in that team too. Also Denilson. Men the football was so eye catching.
Also amongst my best teams ever too (I just love Arsenal generally), but you know, people underrated that set because they hardly won anything. But they were phenomenal as well even leading to the Ozil Arsenal era.

Wow. Enjoyed the Man City game today and was most especially excited with the cameo appearance of Jacob Wright. I can't wait for Nigeria to churn out genuine midfield geniuses.

Keep in mind that this Jacob Wright is home grown and from Manchester.

With the right investment and management, I believe we can nurture and develop outstanding talents.

Jacob Wright. Remember the name.
Aside Mancity are you also interested in Arsenal (at least the Arsenal of Arsene Wenger)? seeing how you love sexy football.

You guys should please stop saying Peter obi would have done the same cos both of them are not same people. And you yorubas are good at binging people down for no reason. Enjoy you leadership and leave obi alone
Tinubu have been writing of a liberalized exchange rate since 2020. Even Osinbanjo was of that school of thought. Tinubu also spoke of his determination to liberalize the exchange rate at Chattam House.

A smooth level field will allow the South Africans play their passing game.
They should play in Abuja, where the SuperFalcons know how to play on the field and could be to our advantage
That could work but then they should play by 6pm and just ensure lights are on.

And you guys didn’t see that Uchenna Kanu is trash today… She was literally a waste of Substitution
That's why I said we need very good offensive players. I can only rely on a few of them.

Esther is at least 7 times out of 10, always bright for the falcons, Oshoala remains a good forward of course, then there is Ajibade and Rinsola. Kanu even when she scored in our previous games has not been that really convincing to me in her overall play, same with Gift Monday (who is good on her day but suffers inconsistency).

We need Esther Oyenezide to develop fast in Spain and own her position as well.

That red card doesn't change the fact that this was a terrible game. Smh.

Oshoala go wan dey shot Lagos geh fight instead of doing the talking on the pitch. E don pass the standing up for teammates abeg.

This formation no work. I hope Ohale and Esther injury is not serious sha.
Hopefully both of them go don recover before April. The sun and terrible pitch (though not excuses) can slow down these foreign borns. Cameroon are mostly home based players, so they adapted well.

Thoughts

Before the game began, I expressed my opinion on the formation Randy used. While I believe it provided us a better option offensively, I noticed in the last game it allowed Cameroon dominate the middle. Exactly the same thing happened today.

I however think it isn't a formation problem but a personnel problem. The combination of Uchiebe, Abiodun and JOE doesn't seem to work ok the defensive end. Maybe with tweak the formation a bit with Abiodun and Ayinde or ask that Ajibade drops deeper to help in the middle. Or maybe it happened cause we ate playing a physical team in Cameroon.
I'm not even worried about that because Cameroon is of course a very physical side. But I think we need to scout for at least one good attacking midfielder and another striker.

We may complain now but surprisingly everything Bola Tinubu said he would do with the FX market in his policy document released before he became president, he is doing them exactly step by step despite the pressure and backlash.

Though he may not have anticipated the naira running away that fast.

I don’t understand? You want to experiment with a game like this at this stage?? Nothing is stopping Asisat Oshoala from starting the game or coming from the bench except injury precautions or game plan for the technical crew..

To me I will play Esther as a Super Sub…

As for the Midfield, Tony Payne can start as far she’s playing from the Attacking Midfield position, then remove her and put Echegini later..

The fear of Cameroon physicality made Randy play Ayinde, Ucheibe and Abiodun in the first leg, Re-watch the game you will see that 2nd half we were better except Imuran side that was almost leaking out..

The good thing is our defense is very very compact, so no fear!

We shouldn’t forget that Cameroon was at Home and they’re out of WAFCON, they wouldn’t want to bow easily and it’s always a rivalry playing against them at any level weda Male or female team..
I don't think I implied in my post that Oshoala should not play or start the game.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by GeneralDae: 10:23am On Feb 25, 2024
Oshoala can start as a winger and Esther Okoronkwo as striker, let's see how that experiment would work because Oshoala also switched to the wings in some part of that game.

In this set up, we can keep Payne on the bench. Ajibade also play on the wings with Echiegini as the attacking midfielder. Ucheibe and any of Abiodun or Halimatu could then complete the midfield. In defence, keep Alozie, Demehin, Oluehi, and Plumptre. Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie.

Florence Odegbami utilized Oshoala as a winger with Oparanozie as the centre forward in 2016.

well our sports ministry and the FA Has to be blamed for not setting up any competitive friendly for our girls.. exposure matters a lot but the I think the second leg will be mostly about tactics. Zambians are mostly counter attacking team but they may get a dose of their own medicine, like I said black queens can also play counter attacking football, my only concern is their finishing. Aways goals count too remember.
Do you really believe the black queens can score 2 against Zambia in Lusaka or score 1 and prevent the Zambians from scoring?
