Politics / Re: Wike's Giant Strides In Infrastructural Development Is An Envy To Other States by GeneralKoko(m): 1:42pm On Oct 16, 2021
Itsrm:

There is no single pothole along the entire ikwerre road from mile 1 to rumuokoro. Thanks to Wike

Stadium road to rupokwu through GU AKE Road used to be a mess with lots of potholes that you need to swerve left and right trying to dodge them. Today you can drive through the road with your eyes closed, it's thanks to Wike

How about the Mummy B road? Have you ever been held in traffic on that road before the dualisation?

How about the roads in GRA? Do you have any idea how Omerelu road used to be?

How about the numerous ongoing projects like the Eastern bypass ogunabali road? The road in front of Cheers bar and Agip Road is being worked on as I type this to get rid of recurring potholes that have since plagued those roads

How about the expansion of rumuokoro - rupokwu road? Have you been to Old GRA recently?

So when you say Wike is just building flyovers and nothing else, even you know you're just lying through your teeth

The resurfacing of ikwerre road was constructed by NDDC not Woke

You should hide your face in Shame
ONELGA , DELGA and other oil producing LGA's have not seen a project since 2015
Andoni , Abua has not seen a project.

Wike is the worse governor in Rivers State History.

Crime / I Just Got A Call . Is It A Scam? by GeneralKoko(m): 12:31pm On Oct 07, 2021
Good day Nairalanders!

I just received a call from a woman who told me I was recommended by one Emmanuel Chinedu to her that she's from a company with a branch in Lagos and Abuja and that they're seeking to expand to Port Harcourt. She gave me a location to come to by 9AM tomorrow.
But I turned down as I have classes tomorrow.

Guys the problem here is that I don't know any Goddam Emmanuel Chinedu.

Have you received a similar call?

Thanks

TBH, I love your questions and to be very candid with you. Building self confidence is not rocket science and have read alot of submission and pple opening up position on how you can build one, yet you can pick the one that best suits and you think can work for you as you journey.

Do you read books ? If you don't, try and get good books, you can try first. The 48 laws of power by Robert Greene. A good book I must say and another is " tough time don't last, tough pple do by Robert Schuller get this books and read. I mean read as this will help you at it.

Stop bad habits, what ever bad habits you must have being engaged for some time now stop it. Smoking, drinking alcohol frequently, sleeping around with women on a daily or masturbations. Don't get me totally wrong not all this things are illegitimate but not all are expedient.

Make Good friends, go for seminar, infact some are for free and some you can pay just token and when you engaged people look straight in the face or eyes and speak to them.

Do you like prayer ?.. if you don't, start every of your day with prayer and ask the higher forces for that thing you know you lack, I know you lack not confidence alone.. you know those things right? Add them, see Hebrew 10:35 then boom lack of confidence will begin to fizzle out ... Do this consistently and Don't bother to thank me later !!

See you at the top ...

Thanks man . You too much!

No carry over course.

1 faculty course and 2 departmental courses, one of the department course is a lab work shop exam. Usually one hour but can contain up to 30 to 40 questions.

People do write 3 exams in my school oo.

The lectures at times can be crazy.

I started writing two exams in a day since my part one second semester.

PHY 102 8 am to 11am and MTH 102 12-3pm.

since then write two exams in a day has been norms, I wrote 3 exams like twice between Part 4 and 5.

Two department courses and one elective.

You obviously attended Rivers State University!

Education / How Do I Minimize Spending As A Student? by GeneralKoko(m): 3:28pm On Sep 17, 2021
Good day Nairalanders

I need your suggestions on how to minimize spending as a student.
I study in one of the prestigious institution in the south and I solely depend on my parents. I receive an average of 30k a month as allowance as a student together with a few provisions. Nontheless, this amount is not always enough and how the money dae take finish I no fit fathom.

Please I need your suggestions. Thanks

people here are sensible enough to know that fufu and soup goes together so they dont sell them separately. so if you buy fufu, you are also entitled to the soup.

sorry if they are not so bright in your area. no insult intended

So you were buying fufu and soup that would satisfy you for #100?

Port Harcourt is cursed!
Food / Re: Rising Cost Of Food: How It Has Changed My Eating Habit by GeneralKoko(m): 3:16pm On Sep 17, 2021

Hello Nlders

Its no longer news that things are mightily expensive in the market especially food stuffs.

It is even harder for me and i believe a lot of other students included.

this has led me to changing my eating habit and surprisingly i seem to love it now more than ever before. dont get me wrong. ..i still detest the rising cost of living.

the part i love is that i now eat healthier now than before.

before now, bread and coke was a major part of my daily meal. sometimes i eat that for lunch and then dinner.

most times, i'd spent #150 on bread and #150 on coke making it #300.

or i'd eat outside. most times i buy fufu of #100 and then meat of #50 and i'll be okay. its benue state so the food was quite okay.

coming to the present, bread of #150 can no longer satisfy me as it is now so small. Nowadays, i'll need around #300 just for bread.

it seems like the sellers these days dont even know how much to sell the bread again. ..sometimes its #250 sometimes its #350.

and fufu nowadays cost #200 (300 if you really want to be satisfied) and meat is 100.

one day i sat down and thought it would be much more cost effective if i start cooking more and buying less.

well it turns out to be so. nowadays i spend only about 1k-1.3k per week on feeding. i use the money to prepare both soup and stew for the week. since i already have rice and garri i do not factor those in.

my market list often goes like this:

stew:

tomato #500
pepper #100
onion #100 or #50
meat #200 or #250 (those mallam recognize us as student...they call it student meat)
crayfish #50

and for soup:

ogbono #150
kpomo #200
crayfish #100
leaf #100

I buy palm oil and groundnut oil with maggi in bulk. so its once in a way.

i'm not the best cook but i found out i recently love cooking and have experimenting. I'm always watching youtube cook videos even when i'm cooking.

my friends dey laff me sometimes sha but me no send o. btw, nowadays i de cook stew die! still perfecting my soup skills sha.

1.5k in a week

@Naija8240 I am waiting for the day Wike will take up that last part of the point you raised. How can a country of 200m depend on the port in Lagos whereas there are ports in Onne, Calabar and Warri? It seems the South South governors left their fights to Wike alone.

I was watching the CNN interview with an American senator yesterday.
Honestly, people blaming Biden for this whole issues are obviously reading the papers upside down.

Trump reportedly signed a memo planning to do the same thing by January, next year.
According to the gist, even the toppest security officials didn't know.

Now, Biden did it, and it's as if he'll be eaten raw.
Was the US going to let a war last 10 years? This is their longest war, and they did more than enough.
Imagine they had stayed for fifty years, gone home and democracy overthrown in two weeks.
I think the government was just weak, and that's why all these is happening.

You're deluded . Trump had the plan to get the US soldiers out and trust he would have done it like a boss and wouldn't let the Taliban dictate so much . Biden carried out the withdrawal like a weakling. So much that the Taliban even bombed American Navy seals . You know if they'd tried this rubbish in Trump's time they would be toast .

If you recide in Rivers State you'd know this is a big lie. The governor wants to buy that land . The people initially refused to leave but he's found a good excuse to evacuate them.

He's buying lands all over in PH

Check close to the Ikoku flyover you'd see a fenced land he acquired.

He also has estates close to okoro body and another one by chinda . This man is a thief!
