KingEbukasBlog: But energy is a constituent of the universe and it cannot be created or destroyed . How do you reconcile that ? It is certainly incongruous with a universe that has a beginning . If sand is a constituent of glass, doesn't it make sense that sand was in existence before glass? If energy is a constituent of the universe, how is it then conflicting that energy has been in existence before the universe? |

Christianity Etc › Re: Atheism: If There Is Satan There Must Be God by GeneralShepherd(m): 4:47pm On Jun 03, 2016 |
truthmans2012: Bro don't mind them.
Even man has spirit and the spirit dwells inside the body. When the spirit leaves the body becomes dead. The spirit keeps living for eternity in heaven or hell when the body drops dead.
Why didn't atheists ask where the spirits of the dead are ? Or do they believe man doesn't have a spirit?
There is a substance called "spirit". This substance vanishes as soon as it is applied. Even the petrol we use to run our vehicles is called spirit (premium motor spirit). Why because it vanishes as it combusts. Where did man get the idea of "spirit" even in science if spirit doesn't exist? I will never engage a theist on Nairaland. Who thinks like this? WTF? |

Believe in God requires great faith and a lot of trusting in heavenly (leaving the wisdom of Man).
One of my main problems with the idea of a God is the fact that he relies on humans to transmit his words and ideas.
Every argument for God relies on a conjecture of different pieces of subjective evidence. I don't begrudge believers as it makes sense to them but belief in a God especially an Israeli God makes no sense to me. An objective proof is the only thing that can sway me. I |

Indeed, Nigerian education is at its lowest ebb as evidenced by this uninspiring piece of propaganda that is riddled with grammatical blunders.
It bedazzles me to imagine that this rebuttal was written by the president of the student union of ABSU charged with representing the views of students.
Furthermore, besides the weak argument that the VC sacked corrupt lectures and therefore cannot be corrupt - which is a non sequitur - no attempt was made to dispel the allegations levelled against the said VC. All I read were threats against the accuser and Nairaland! The allegedly corrupt VC and his lapdog - the SUG president - cannot take on Nairaland and the power of its community. We are simply bigger than them!
In addition, the illogicality of his only argument for the integrity of the erudite VC can be further understood by examining the meaning of the word hypocrisy. The VC may be a hypocrite, who knows?
Webster dictionary defines hypocrisy as follows :
hypocrisy hɪˈpɒkrɪsi/ noun the practice of claiming to have higher standards or more noble beliefs than is the case.
In conclusion, an SUG president is saddled with the primary responsibility of representing and protecting the interests of students. On this occasion, this simpleton has failed beyond reprieve with respect to his primary mandate by placing the interests of the VC above that of his constituent . Therefore, I call for his immediate impeachment!!! |

I have no regrets sticking and believing in the person and personality of General Muhammadu Buhari because in him I see HOPE and DIRECTION for a Nigeria I can call HOME. The reason atheists continually demand regeneration of an amputee's limb as the ultimate proof of divine healing, is simply because it is scientifically impossible.
Among the plethora of amputees across the world, surely God will find one worthy of such a miracle in the future but till it happens, I remain an atheist because most miracles can be explained when placed under proper scrutiny. |

In three days, it will be one year since APC wrested power from PDP at the Federal level. Yet, there has been no significant improvement in the quality of life in Nigeria, rather we have seen a sharp decline in all spheres of life.
Power generation is at an all time low, so is crude oil production, the economy is regressing as well. Security is still poor in Nigeria, corruption is still rife amongst Nigerians and our Education system is at its worst since independence.
For the sake of our future generations, let us all ask our leaders (PDP and APC)to proactively tackle the myriad of problems that are currently beguiling our nation.
