TheGoodJoe:Is the Chinese man tested in English? No he is tested in the language he was tutored in. If the girl was tutored in Hausa, then she must be tested in Hausa. Since there is no Hausa version of WAEC, then she did not enroll for the said exam and therefore cannot be one of the missing chibok girls. Simple logic |
Metallurgist:How else can this crude be transported efficiently if not through pipelines? |
Harvesthomes:Uncle... I... I Archimedes Principle in Hausa is Akimedis Frincifle |
Chidizman:Any day Nwanne Mmadu. Hope to see you soon too |
Good news... |
Chidizman:Okay you are young. Now if you can really focus your career aspirations towards financial Auditing it will go a long way to help you migrate to Australia as internal Auditors are in high demand here |
Ezegozie:Brother don't loose hope. Keep your head down and keep pushing |
Ezegozie:I took your advise and it was worth it in the end. Tganks |
Chidizman:If you can afford it, come for your msc in Australia. Try and focus your further studies on accountancy precisely Internal Auditing. |
Next time America refuses to sell weapons and Military equipment to us, the same people praising police brutality on this thread will attack America's policy. |
I thought we were told the kidnapped girls were all preparing for WASSCE, why is she now in junior secondary school? Bad script writers and actors really go together. |
Chidizman:I didn't get my 'dream' job, I got a job shortly after, then went for my Msc in England. Now I live in Australia |
longayink:I am not a Buhari fan but it is simply unrealistic and probably impossible to prosecute every corrupt politician in Nigeria. The government does not have the resources to embark on such a white elephant project. |
Thunder fire our politicians. After destroying our health sector, they conveniently fly abroad to get treatment while leaving us to bear the brunt of their failure. |
When men were boys! How time flies |
America has allegedly refused selling fighter jets to Nigeria, sighting human rights violations as the reason for the refusal. Nigerians in their usual defensive attitude are deflecting all the blame from our Military and unduly attacking the USA (verbally at least). Some claim that America simply dislikes Nigeria because of our anti gay stance, others have gone to the extreme to claim America wants to see Nigeria - the potential threat to America's Hegemony in Africa - disintegrate. Everytime America endorses Nigeria we all rejoice but we never ever learn from their criticisms. Be it when they criticised us for sentencing adults to 14 years in jail for their sexual orientation, to when they asked Abacha to release Ken Sarowiwa. America to many Nigerians is an obnoxious, morally bankrupt country that cannot criticise infallible Nigeria. However, there is need to ask one critical question. Is the Nigeria Army really culpable of human right abuses? The obvious answer is Yes, and unless we wish to continue lying to ourself, we must accept this fact. Denying it will not only endorse such behaviours as acceptable but also reinforce it amongst our security agencies. For example, a few weeks ago Nigerian soldiers physical manhandled a lawyer in Festac for asking them (politely) to move their truck allow Road users free movement . I am also sure that every Nigerian that has lived in Nigeria for at least 5 years, can narrate at least one account of human right abuses and excessive use of force by the Nigerian Army and the police. Abuse of power by state security agencies is a form of corruption. Like our dear president said, If we don't kill all forms of corruption, it will kill us |
Grundig:You said you see Ambode an ex-tout. How can a man that graduated from Cranfield be classified as tout or even an ex-tout? |
seguno2:No.. It's in Bedford, Bedfordshire, United Kingdom |
Grundig:Did you just refer to Ambode as a tout? A graduate of Cranfield Business School, a tout? One of the top business in the world. My friend you need a serious mental health evaluation |
Grundig:. |
For now, I am not concerned that Tinubu, Amaechi and other politicians loyal to Buhari are not being prosecuted. All I want now is to see Saraki in jail! What sort of human being is Saraki? Why couldn't he transform Kwara state into a modern worldclass state? Bad roads were a common sight during his tenure as a governor. Security of lives and properties was conspicuously absent as well. Yet he had the temerity to use public funds to acquire properties in England! Chineke gbokwa ya oku! Ekwensu mpi ogologo! I am so angry right now |
I dey believe Ambode die. My sister that lives in Aboru -an area that was completely overlooked by Fashola, showed me pictures of her vicinity and I was taken aback. If Buhari can replicate at least 5% of what Ambode is doing in Lagos at the national level, I will gladly become an ardent follower. Anyway, I'm not really surprised, this is because Ambode studied at Cranfield University and our alumni is made up of brilliant minds. Cranfield Graduates are in a class of their own!! Great Minds

As expected, the EFCC under this dispensation denies accused persons bail against international and national laws. It is important to reiterate that I want corrupt persons and politicians to be locked in the darkest cells at Kirikiri. However,it is imperative that withdrawal of freedom is meted out within the purview of the law. Nevertheless, it is difficult to expect a former military General to grasp the tenets of modern democracy. It is impossible to teach an old dog new tricks. |
GenBuhari:Have found who is subsidising who? I hope you obviously see GEJ was right. I decided to resurrect this thread to illustrate the insincerity of Nigerian politicians. In four years there's been a complete u-turn in PMB perspective on petrol. subsidy |
Alani86:Any day I witness the regeneration of an amputee's lost limb or confirm from reputable sources that it happened anywhere at all in world, I will offer myself to God as a living sacrifice. |
How NL argue against strawmen is simply amazing! The main idea of the post, is to highlight the fact that Buhari has ruled Nigeria twice in one lifetime. As a 30 year old military General and now as a 70 year old civilian. The issue of his age is just a side attraction. How many US presidents have ruled twice in different dispensations? |
madridguy:Try sleeping while oil rigs continually flare gas behind your window. Maybe then you'll earn the right to come back and criticise Niger Deltans. I do not support millatancy and I condemn violence in its entirety. However, don't sit in the comforts of your house in Oshodi and cast aspersions on the people that have sacrificed their ancestral homes to fund your luxury! |
With all the hate directed at the Igbos from Yorubas and Hausas on NL, what exactly is the reason you still want Biafra to be part of Nigeria? I thought if one hates a certain group of people, one's goal should be to dissociate oneself from the said group of people, or am I missing something? |
When will these pastors heal an amputee? Or is that the God that restores sanity to insane men can not replace a missing limb?! |
justwise:Thank you so much for the good work you do here, especially when users like myself give you grief once in a while. Lastly, how do I prove my mum is actually my mother as I lost my birth certificate a long time ago. |
justwise:Thanks a lot. Will they need to provide evidence that are indeed sisters? |
justwise:Both of them will be accommodated by my cousin. What document to I need to show to this effect |
