truthsayer009: I have heard of this in MFM camp many times. I believe those spiritual powers would make women exhibit some really nasty attitude that would chase the man away. I have heard other cases like the lady chasing the spouse in the dream always. So the man fled thinking she was Ogbanje. Another one that her spouse always dies weeks before all her marriages.
I still believe not all cases are spiritual, but some are. A lot of women chose their fairy tale stories & blame it on Spirits & village people when the problem lies in their own hands. Imagine Khloe BBN saying only Men with 3 houses & 3 cars can marry her. Shey that one village people? You are right about not everything being spiritual. Like if a girl doesn't take care of her looks, smells no man will want to approach her. Even men that smell will run However, sometimes, on issues of character it is that demon that keeps making the men see nothing but that. If people can do jazz to get people to sign documents, marry them, say good things in their favour then demons can also manipulate a potential suitor's mind against a lady. I mean Ceecee spat fire on national Tv and now she is dating a well known celebrity. Omarosa worked for Donald Trump and was one of the most direct women to appear on American national TV. You need to google her interviews on YouTube and see how she talks to people who try to talk her down. She has been married since 2017. What about Naomi Campbell? She has been reported to have one of the nastiest attitude in the industry yet has never dated anything short of a millionaire. Billionaires want her always. I know these are celebs but there are some everyday people like that. Truth is with that demon the attitude or whatever it chooses to push will always be the reason why they can't marry. Without it, the lady will meet men who like the attitude. The one that hurts me more is when the men will be like "she is okay, and everything a man wants but I just don't like her." Then goes on to marry her direct opposite. |

I still believe not all cases are spiritual, but some are. A lot of women chose their fairy tale stories & blame it on Spirits & village people when the problem lies in their own hands. Imagine Khloe BBN saying only Men with 3 houses & 3 cars can marry her. Shey that one village people? And she will get what she wants I assure you because she knows what she wants. When she gets it people will will ask why bad girls get the best. Men are always yapping about how they can't marry a lady that doesn't have ass, boobs, fine face, degree, her own money bla bla bla. We know that the until the 21st century there was nothing a woman could do about the first three. Even now, you need tons of money and beauty products to level up. Women don't attack men for their choices. If anything, plastic surgeons are making so much money from women. Why can't a lady also want what she wants? Where you planning on toasting her that its paining you? Only a man who was interested in her should feel a little bit pain when he reads that. She knows the kind of men she wants and how to get them for herself. Only poor men really complain about a woman wanting rich men. When they become rich, they change completely and use their wealth to attack their own fellow men by using it to steal their girlfriends and wives. I'm sure you people would have been happier of she had said she wants a guy that has one chair and one mattress. It feed your ego until you also level up. Men are the most hypergamous. If you think I'm lying ask rich fathers why they only marry their daughters off to wealthy people? Let's stop being two faced and leave people to want what they want. As far as I'm concerned, the only mistake she made was saying it out. We as humans are all hypocrites. A girl will say she doesn't want men to want her for her looks. But she knows quite well if she didn't have those boobs and ass a dozen men wouldn't flock around her. Of course it would be stupid for a guy to say on their first meeting "I want to f**k you for your ass* Except she is a prostitute she will feel or pretend to be offended. Same way a woman can't say out loud, " I want you for your money". Deep down, the rich men know that without their money the beauties they frolic with now wouldn't even look at them. Some even cheat on their wives who stood by them when they were wretched with these "classy" ladies. Isn't that the same issue with rich African Americans who go on to marry white women who wouldn't take one look at them if they were in the ghetto. Just marry within your level and have peace of mind. Peace. |

MacSmart: So this is more like and appreciation post.
About a month ago, I came across some posts by different members of this forum encouraging people to start Kindle Publishing, which is the new 'gold mine'. I was intrigued and spent my data downloading YouTube videos to understand the art. I also bought the new version of Publisher Rocket that helps you identify the major keywords.
Last week, with the help of Publisher Rocket, I was able to hit a wonderful keyword and I began working on the book. I completed everything in three days and published. I enrolled for KDP Select, meaning that I get paid about 0.0045$ per page read. The next morning I woke up to 1100 pages read. Before the day was over it reached 1500.
Since then it has been climbing and then I sold a copy yesterday. In total I have about 5000 pages read in one week alone. Do the maths.
I am already working on three more books to be published before the end of the week. I believe it can only get better.
I want to say thank you to people like
iLegendd eliok and others that helped make this journey an interesting one by answering all my questions in details. I can't thank you guys enough.
Thank you all guys. Nairaland is Bae.
PS: Ignore all typos. Typed this in the toilet Hello. Can I have names or links to the videos you downloaded from youtube? Thanks. |

yellow237: HE IS NOT A HERO BUT A BIRO!
You believe that Dieziani stole and returned US$90Billion when Sowore was paid by buhari and APC to diseminate that lie of the century. Sowore damaged Dieziani's reputation.
2. You believed that Jonathan created Boko Haram and that Jonathan also kidnapped Chibok girls when APC paid Sowore to spread that propaganda and you clapped.
3. You believed that Jonathan was the worst President of Nigeria when APC paid Sowore to blackmail Jonathan.
4. You praised buhari when he arrested and re-arrested Dasuki even though a court granted him bail and thanked Sowore's SaharaReporters for exposing Dasuki. Dasuki is still in detention this moment and nobody is actually talking about it, thanks to Sowore.
5. You praised buhari when ElZakzaky's children were killed along with hundreds of his followers, thereafter, ElZakzaky himself and his wife were brutalised, arrested, illegally detained and re-arrested after they have been granted bail.
6. You praised buhari when Oliseh Metuh was arrested and re-arrested and Sowore was the one publishing fake documents that indictated Chief Olisa.
7. You praised buhari when Dokpesi was arrested, intimidated, detained and his business almost destroyed just because his Media outfit ran a documentary on the real corrupt buhari before the election.
8. You believed Sowore, when ElRufai was using him to circulate the lies that Jonathan was arming and sponsoring Boko Haram because he was using them to kill our military personnels in order to remain as President.
9. You praised Sowore when he was paid by APC to use his Sahara Liereporters to destroy the already battered image of Nigeria by supplying CNN and BBC with fake and damaging stories of how Jonathan was at war with the North, thinking that he was destroying Jonathan and Patience Jonathan.
10. Your #RevolutionNow political lawyer (Falana) was APC Lawyer, and he interpreted the part of our constitution that gives buhari power, arbitrarily, without recourse to the principles of Separation of Powers, to sack Onnoghen as the CJN, which is the position of the Head of Judiciary, an independent arm of government that is completely separate from Presidency and with no link to buhari's office. If not that Falana is shameless, he will not be representing a criminal just because of mere re-arrest, when he actually worked tiredlessly to build the platform the president is using to re-arrest Nigerians today.
So if I praise buhari now that he is doing his job as expected, what is wrong with that? Buhari is constant. There is no change in buhari's dictionary. Anyone that is complaining about buhari just because buhari is doing what he has been doing since 1960 till date needs to see a psychiatrist. We will keep reminding you all that buhari is completely the opposite of Jonathan. If you think you will do to buhari exactly what you did to Jonathan, be prepared to face death by hanging via hate speech.
Sowore was the major social-media mercenary used by APC to blackmail Jonathan and his government. Sowore is being devoured by the monster he fed. It is an insult to history for someone like Sowore to be described as a hero. He is just a BIRO that is thrown away when it runs out of ink. Sowore is paying for what he did to a goodly and godly GEJ.
You can't put off another man's candle and expect your own light to shine. Karma is simply at work! Your analysis makes no sense. If he once worked/ works for Apc why will he risk his life to protest against the government. Why won't he just remain in America and keep enjoying his ill gotten wealth like your Dieziani is doing in UK Sowore from time immemorial has always fought for the masses. Eight from his days as a member of his student union. The video online speaks for itself that the guy has always been fearless. Even during the Military regime, he was one of those who put their lives in harms way to protest for the release of Abiola. Sowore will speak against any government as long as that government is corrupt whether Jonathan's or Buhari. Whoever you are you should be ashamed of yourself. |

However you and I know that no matter what sector he ends up working in he will be ten times better off working in that same sector abroad. Many people get duped of millions just to secure a visa and get out. This degree is a one way ticket. It might not be a guarantee but it has solved about 50% of the issue. If he doesn't land a good job overseas then he can return to naija. Hopefully, he will get employment with his First and second degree. But let's all stop acting like Nigeria insist the inferior option for someone who has options like him. |

Chidorx60: This girl who do you dis one....what makes you think lecturing is the only opportunity available for graduates who did very well in school.
You have such a shallow mind....my plight is that despite the economic frowning of the nation you should not generalize.....
But you proved to be one way human being.....to you its either u become a lecturer with a first-class or travel abroad that's the only way to make it ....aunty try to see my point many people have gotten opportunities not because of their side hustle but on the account of their first-class... So again stop generalizing...
If quoting you is a problem don't reply this post....talkative
And I see you are the type with a leaking mouth to abuse anyone just because you are in the comfort of your mat ...but I won't condescend to your level....try an eat something this evening He still quoted me. Worse off he has changed his mouth from attacking me with his myopic view. Why dont you just stay on the academic lane you were when you first attacked me. You insulted me and I replied you in kind now you are crying. |

Chidorx60: Aunty you mean your questionsss
Why don't you accept the fact that your assertion that the only chance first-class graduates have is to have a side hustle.....why can't you accept that saying this was dumb and shallow....
I guess u can advice your youngers ones to learn trade and handworks....at least they won't waste their years in schools...
Any graduate who jumps out with pass will begin to say that getting first class is worthless..... Lol You see when they say read and comprehend you won't listen. If you have a faculty of law in your school you'll know most law lecturers also have chambers that handle cases worth millions of Naira. Their lavish lifestyle doesn't come from the peanuts they earn as lecturers. Saka (I don port go mtn) is a lecturer at OAU. Did he learn anything apart from theater arts? Tell me, if he didn't have a side hustle as an actor which gave him the platform to earn millions from endorsement deals with Glo and later Mtn what would have been his fate? What about our very own Sam Dede? Who is also a lecturer at Uniport as well as an actor. Isn't that also a side hustle? You mean to tell me Wole Soyinka has made more as a lecturer than he made from his books? Isn't that a side hustle? Please stop distracting your school biko. Read to understand. As for your last paragraph, you not only proved you don't read, you proved that you are dull. When in my first post on front page did I say first class was worthless? If anything, I said he would enjoy the true worth of his first-class degree if he leaves the country. In Canada, a gate man in a construction firm earns a better than your lecturers. If he gets a gets a scholarship to do his masters there (I'm sure he will finish well) he has a good chance of securing a white collar job and sending giving his kids good education. Stop distracting.your school by quoting me. Deep down you know your country is a pit of destruction. |

SpongeBobSP: Arlen and I went back and forth on thus smartphone issue leading to the removal of my old account on Slack .
So this is what I do and since nwafresh said we should share , this is my own hack. So I work strictly on my smartphone, and it's been quite easy for me. What I do is I simply break the auto transcripts into smaller section and then I select all and delete all the way to the first bubble, that's the only way to successfully delete those irritating timestamps, that first bubble will still contain the very first timestamp which cannot be deleted, that's way you can start fresh and create your own Cus/rep chat bubble as normal. I tried it first on that Friday with a 3 min call, was rated 4, been doing that ever since, and have only got ratings of 4s& 5s. So for me it's like nothing changed, because the mobile page doesn't even have the loop, play snippet at the bottom of the screen, so for me it's been business as usual. So when she kept saying it's for PC only and bla bla, I had to check her, Pau C was surprised that it could actually be done on a smartphone. Lol welcome to Nigeria
PS I use Chrome browser. What Keyboard do you use on your phone? Instead of breaking it into smaller segments just use the copy all and delete all buttons on next app for the whole work. It takes it all off once. press Fn you'll see a box with ^A and another with ^x at the top. |

AutoJoshNG: Roads In Dubai: These Photos Shows How Our Governments Have No Vision (PHOTOS)
Dubai is the most popular city in the United Arab Emirates. It is also one of the most visited cities in the world.
To achieve its current status, billions of dollars have been invested in the city to make it attractive to foreign tourists. This is expected to enhance economic development and international trade in the city.
One of the strategies employed by the authorities to make Dubai a popular tourist destination is the provision of excellent quality road networks.
In Dubai, the network of roads, especially the multi-lane highways, are in very resplendent condition.
Earlier this year, a French-based survey ranked Dubai as the second-best city in the world for driving in 2019.
All these, put together, have contributed to making Dubai a popular destination for tourists from all around the world.
In 2018, Dubai received 15.92 million overnight tourist visitors. Out of that figure, 185,000 were Nigerians.
In recent times, Dubai has become a popular vacation spot for Nigerians. It has also become a venue for parties and other forms of rendezvous.
Sadly, to any Nigerian visitor to Dubai, the quality of roads there is always a painful reminder of the total absence of visionary leadership in Nigeria.
Autojosh.com was recently in Dubai. Below are photos of some roads in the city that we captured. Now, compare them to our roads in Nigeria. So, because you traveled abroad for the first time we will not hear word. Are there no good roads in Nigeria? In fact, you should have been born in Somalia. |
