Wagasigiungu: I forgot ur other question. I wouldn't advice you charge it with I pass my neighbour generator set. I donated one set up with improvised ups inverter to my neighbourhood mosque. They repeatedly spoilt the charger /capacitor cos they were using such gen to charge the battery despite my warnings against doing such. That gen is prone to voltage fluctuations. They were using it until it got stolen eventually. Fear human beings. Even prayer houses aren't spared by thieves. please can I see a pic of the battery? |
Technology Market › Re: How To Setup An Inverter With Less Than 20k using Lithium-2016 (D.I.Y) Modified by generationz(f): 9:32pm On Apr 26, 2019 |
Wagasigiungu: Yes 300 Watts inverter. I got the 500watt inverter over a year ago at 8k each. I bought two since I hv 2 batteries. One is permanently connected to the entire house. I wired the house ( 2 bedroom flat) with bulbs supplying the sitting room and kitchen, both rooms (4 bulbs in all). The illumination no get part two. You no go know say no nepa light except for the TV we don't put on. My kids can just switch on the inverter with the pressing of a switch; eazy peazy!!! We go days using such setup to illuminate the house. It is most useful and offers ease of use during the nights, midnights, cold season, rainy season etc when you don't hv much need for fans.
The other set up is my mobile pack. I packaged it in a laptop bag (not the backpack type). I use it outside the home or at home when the need arises. It is what I use to power my rechargeable fan throughout the night and during hot afternoons or when the kids are restless due to heat while sleeping in the afternoon or at night. Hence we don't hv need for putting on the generator at night. I can go more than 2 nights using it this way. I also power my laptop with it whenever I need to work for long hours or watching movies or series. You can use it for over 24 hrs. I don't really remember ever exhausting the charge while using it with my laptop. I am a heavy user by all standards. Some evn say I am addicted to my laptop. I run it overnight occasionally when I hv downloads to make. I just queue them up in IDM. Lolz.
It's a wonderful set up. I hv enjoyed more than my moneys worth.
Now for the price. I was a dealer back in the days. I used to sell them. Was about 7k or so then. I had lots. Even gave out some to my family members. Personally reserved about 8 for myself. But I don dash most out. Now I hv 2 left.
Over all these years, I hv only had cause to dispose of only 1 battery. Some of the cells were swollen. Despite that it was still functional. I decided to dispose of it cos I wanted safety for my family. I feared it could explode of cause some problems, so I had to discard it. (In retrospect, I could still hv used some of the functional cells for mobile power bank batteries or even cordless power drill batteries.) I deduced that this happened becos I was over charging it. It was the one I used during my service year. It was always permanently connected to Nepa. I never ever bothered to disconnect it even when it is fully charged. I usually left it connected at home and went to work. However I hv had cause to replace the capacitors of the chargers like 3 or 4 times over the years. This was mostly done free of charge by a technician friend. It isn't too expensive.
If na phone you wan use am charge, u no need to fear anything. You can literally go almost a week on the battery juice. When we had issues with nepa power supply at work, I took my mobile pack to the office. It was serving virtually the entire office workforce without any hitch. We are talking of over 20 phones some having more than one phone (typical Nigerian man. Lolz). The battery never got depleted during such use.
Na my small experience I share so. Thanks a lot for this detailed explanation. I would like to know , can you assist me to put something like what you have together. I would pay for whatever is necessary or do you think a novice like me can set it up please, if you don't mind I would like a rough estimate of the cost price of setting up the inverter with batteries and all If possible , I would like to know if there is also a way of making smaller ones for mobile phones. With the way you described it I don't mind setting up five or of the big ones lool |

Acidosis: You only see this as a problem because you live in one of world's most extroverted countries. You are in a country where people believe they have the right to your greeting. You are not responsible for another man's insatiable greed to your greetings. What the future holds depends on how much effort you make to feed your ego, not another man's ego. And this is one of the reasons a lot of people are commuting suicide They want to conform to the expectations of society on how to act to prove they are confident and happy. |

QueenSekxy: Lol. Attention isn't my problem cos I get loads of it each time I step out. I just find it difficult to relate with people. I belong to a church society and I was still doing that. I Sometimes, stopped going cos it was energy demanding. Talkng and greeting people. how old are you? With age , time and exposure your shyness will reduce. Apart from greetings do these people ask questions about your personal life which you don't want to reveal? I do this too. I avoid routes where I know people who love small talk and like asking stupid personal questions. They ask not because they like me but because they want to know how far you have gone in life to gossip about and compare with their kids. Even my facial expression when passing their shops makes them know they shouldn't ask me anything stupid other than "Good morning " However you must know that while there's absolutely nothing wrong with being an introvert you might find yourself in situations where you will have to overcome shyness to succeed Eg if you are a business woman or you work in an industry where you meet people daily and your social intelligence is required. I'll advice you to start reading books on charisma . Never eat alone is one. You can look for the free PDF on google There are tons of videos on YouTube that you can watch. They will teach you confidence, how to make eye contact etc. Make sure you practice what you read or else its not worth it at the end of the day |

Wagasigiungu: Yes I still use it. I mainly use it to power my light bulbs, rechargeable standing fan, phones and laptop whenever any of the above needs arise. For the most part, it is stable. The best option is to use it with a 300 or 500 inverter. The ups inverter improvised set up is cheaper but not as efficient. Moreso, it may damage ur fone or laptop battery (if u use the improvised ups). You also need a good generator or nepa power supply to charge. Some use solar panels with this setup. Generally it is a good buy. I hv been using mine for about 6yrs now. No issues whatsoever. Even my kids can switch it on and off. We don't need to put on the generator in the night or midnight when we need illumination. I hv gotten more than enough value for my money. 300 watts right? can I use tiger generator to charge it? please can you list the complete set you use ie battery, inverter etc. how much is the inverter ? And how long does it last at night while charging phone at night ? I intend making more than one also. Thanks. |

truthsayer009: Madame when i first saw this post, i wanted to comment but no time. This honestly has nothing to do with poverty all. This women are not poor please.
This natural issue that happens to a lot of women, but not all ofcourse. It's like an Ant to Sugar problem.
If you put 10 men in a single room and 10 women.
9 out of those 10 men are average good looking, average career etc. Then 1 out of 10 is super good looking with a great career.
Those 10 women don't care to kill themselves over that 1 man, whom can only genuinely love 1 woman. Totally ignoring the fact that there are actually 10 men in the room.
This 1 single man may treat them all really badly, physically abusing & cheating on them etc but they don't care. You will see them making up excuses for him & fighting off other women.
You may deny this but this happens in our everyday life. Its not about poverty, some women are just build like that.
A not-so-perfect example is Teddy A in BBnaija house who likes only one girl. 6 other girls want to kill themselves for him. Even after the house, they are still "Reaching" You are right about women wanting the strongest most desired male. Its natural biology. However a wise woman knows when to pull out when she isn't receiving the full attention she deserves. Nothing beats a woman who knows what she wants. I mean women have left one sided marriages with kids to cater for. There is absolutely no exscuse for both Anna and Sandra. They are just dumb or don't have someone they can listen to talk sense into their heads. BTW the ladies aren't rich. Forget Instagram lifestyle. |

RoyalUc: Ma'am, life is not always 'one plus one!'
Not always based on principles.
And that's why, as concerning the lady in question, I might not completely write her off, though she did wrong. It's even possible she and her new guy might make a better couple. Let me tell you something about life and principles If you forgo your principles because someone convinced you to do otherwise , when the act goes south you will never forgive yourself and that person. For example does innocent church girls who fell for the sweet words of players and got pregnant. Yes they love their kids but they would know life would have been easier without an unwanted pregnancy Like I said earlier principles shouldn't be set in stone. Your views can change a little as you grow older and meet more people. However if you say you won't have any principle, people will just mess you up and take you for granted. You will fall for all kinds of lies trying to see the best in people. |

jackals: This life sha, Even we as beautiful as we are, we cant hook a man for long. They expect you to have good behavior that their mother doesnt even have. Before you know it, he start complainning and misbehavingg even after promising marriage. I'm tiredof most of these weak men, they only know how to hit and run stop trying to 'hook' a man Womanizers can smell that desperation miles away and leverage Live your life, work hard at your goals be happy and the right man will come It is important that as a lady you have set principles which everyman who comes into your life must be judged against or else he isn't worthy. If you don't stand for anything you will fall for every Tom , dick and kazeem I'm not talking of "he gives me money ish" even though money is important For example one of my principles is this: If when I just met you and while talking casually as friends( I'm a good conversationalist so you won't even know I'm judging silently) the man mentions "You can't eat only egusi everyday of your life you must eat other meals". I don't need a prophet to tell me that man will cheat. another example Most men who are alcoholics cheat. Why 1. Alcohol boosts the libido . 2. Too much alcohol can make Segun see shrek as Cinderella 3. Alcohol makes one more outspoken and confident And the most important is this Where two or three men are gathered drinking yansh matter must be part of the topic of discussion. So even if he isn't the flirtatious type he will learn from his friends. You are not to jump into conclusions but mark these things as your red flags and pay attention to them Many men will fall away like a pack of cards and it will be easier for you to choose with clear eyes. |

HeliosHay: The Greatest Weapon For Financial Success
I personally (along with Tony Robbins) believe the greatest weapon for financial success is NOT KNOWLEDGE. If that were the case all the college professors with abundant knowledge would all be rich.
I'm sure there's someone in your life who you know to be very knowledgeable...straight A's students. Yet, for some weird reason, they're not rich.
That's because the greatest weapon for financial success is the ABILITY TO TAKE ACTION.
Many people know what to do...but don't just have the courage/discipline to take action..to follow through
How many people set a new year resolution to lose weight, to be rich, to read so so and so books a year. How many of those people actually follow through with their goals?
You see, the ability to take action is not easy...it requires discipline and commitment.
That's what separates financially successful people from the rest. Those that find success see an opportunity and have the courage to take action. Others procrastinate and do nothing. Yet they wonder why the rich keep getting richer and the poor see no progress in their lives.
Will you be an action taker or just another procrastinator?
Remember that book I published on the 18th of March?
Guess what, it just surpassed $1000 in paperback sales alone! see the screenshots below.
When I say a single book is capable of pooling in that much, I wasn't making random claims.
And you know whats funny, the keyword for that book is included in the 5 keywords I gave out in the Kindle Direct Publishing Blueprint (I won't tell you which one out of that 5 it is - just know that it's one of those 5 profitable keywords I gave out)
Speaking of the Kindle Blueprint, it's available at a 25% discount for ONE MORE DAY!
Do not procrastinate

Thales01: Flavour and his two babymamas are confused beings. It is baffling how two beautiful women would abase themselves for a guy to the extent that they are okay with being his babymamas.Don't they think they deserve more? One can only imagine the rancour that exists between those two ladies. Both of them are still holding out hope of winning his undivided love and attention. They is why they keep breaking up and making up with flavour unabashedly.I can tell flavour himself is in a dilemma as to how to manage the unfavourable situation he has put himself in. The truth of the matter is that no matter how he tries,he cannot please themselves both without incurring the displeasure of either of them.At the end of the day,it is either he get married to both of them or jettison them which is very unlikely. Lool Dilemma you say? Flavour is the winner on all sides. Guyman is having a field day messing with two beautiful women. While some men would use these babes pictures as wallpaper worshipping them as goddesses A woman that doesn't know what she wants will be tossed about on all sides by men who can tell her sweet nonsense. |
