No your time is only correct when you are in nigeria..... any other connecting time , arriving , departing or landing time is based on the time at that particular airport ...... for example if u leave lagos at 1pm then yes thats lagos time and next if your next flight in from Dubai 4pm. then 4pm is Dubai time to arrive newyork 9am that means the plane lands at 9am newyork time

You dont have to do any preparation. ....where ur stop over .. just follow d signs of people coming out. Usually if u dont have visa for that stop over country then u shouldnt come out of the airport...just walk around in d airport and find something to do while time goes. make sure you note the boarding time of your connecting flight and be infront of the gate in good time so u dont miss the connecting flight....

Its easy , once u there instinct will lead u

Stopover mean A short interruption in a journey why layover is a paused in a journey but If I should get u right u are trying to say layover.... Wen u are having layover its a situation whereby u have a pause in a journey for some hours, ur plane will land and u will come out, atimes u might board another plane nothing like POE until u get to ur destination

I went tru my D-160 form again and again. Someone to contact at port of entry I put my uncle instead of d school official. Fill d form, print everything out and go tru it b4 u submit and go for interview, pray and fast.... Another person will interview you..... Talk from ur mind, oludare01 put me tru with pre-interview. The guy came like an angel, call me several time

Sometimes those people will ask you to drop it and come back and in some scenario they give touching stories.

No go dull yourself ooo... In Abuja 19500 but some collect 25k and other states 25k or 28k

April 6 months back is October. ...so u definitely need a new passport before you travel because u need at least 6 months validity for POE so yes go get a new passport asap and then travel with both

Go ahead and apply before December and when it is December just make sure you renew your passport before leaving the country.

Visa approved already, I will going for spring session by December or November 2016 ending. My passport will expire by April 2017.

Yes you can....however have with you your proof that u are going to North carolina from Atlanta ie bus train or plane ticket. The Officer might or might not ask but at least u have it ...also remember the 30 days rule to i20 start date

Don't worry, put your mind at rest. It happens to me in may too, u can't track it... Yes. Nipost actually brought mine to my house in Ibadan. The I-20 was sent may 26, it was delivered to my house June 3rd....

Go to d nearest nipost office in ur area by Friday.... Ask and put down ur name and address..... All is well

It has been God my people. My first interview was on July 19, which I was given 214B. I was denied, I wasn't myself but my uncle ask me to back that is because of the way I dressed. No tie, no suit.... Hmmmmmm
I applied the second time with all determination that I will get it right, which I fixed for August 2nd, 12:45pm. On getting to the embassy, I met two people that was given rejection letter. I was like wahoo ooooo, third time and fourth time, o GA ooooooo. By 12:30pm I went inside after the checking stuff. My fingers was was scanned and waiting for interview proper. The VO that interview me the last time was there but I was not afraid. I was eventually moved to another VO.... My transcript..
It was God indeed

VO: going to US to do what?
Me: for bachelor of science degree in Nursing at NCCU
VO: what will you do after your program?
Me: come back to Nigeria in helping Nigeria govt and WHO in eradicating disease, maternal mortality.... VO cut in

Me: death rate doing child birth
VO: Why this school?
Me: there research work on disease and child birth has been so great
VO: how did you come about the school?
Me: my uncle told me about the school and I look it up on usnews.com for more information about the school

Me: yes

VO: what is the location of the school ( the town)?

I was happy and crying... I wanted to leave that interview hall when I first enter because someone said I never sign the the guardian side on my I-20.

I LEFT IBADAN FOR LAGOS ON WED, 17TH AUG... MY FLIGHT WAS SCHEDULED FOR 6:30AM.. VIA ROYAL AIR RAMOC.

THE CHECK IN STARTED AROUND 2AM.... I DID THE NORMAL CHECKS,WEIGHED MY LUGGAGES, WENT TO THE NIGERIA CUSTOMS AND NDLEA TABLE TO CHECK MY LUGGAGES... NIGERIANS LAW ENFORCEMENT WITH CORRUPTION. THE WOMAN IN CUSTOM UNIFORM TOLD I HAVE TO PAY 2,000 FOR THE FOODSTUFF I WAS CARRYING AND OR ELSE I WILL FOLLOW THEM TO THE OFFICE TO MAKE THE CERTIFICATION. EVENTUALLY I PAID THE WOMAN 1K. FROM THERE I PROCEEDED TO THE COUNTER TO GET MY BOARDING PASS... WENT THROUGH THE IMMIGRATION CHECKS ... AND PROCEEDED TO BOARD MY FLIGHT.
THE FLIGHT TOOK OFF FOR CASABLANCA AT EXACTLY 06 :30AM.. WHILE ON BOARD WE WERE SERVED COFFEE, JUICE, YOUGHURT AND WATER.. AT 10:30AM WE TOUCHED DOWN AT CASABLANCA, AND MOVED TO TRANSIT LOUNGE FOR THE 17HOURS.
WHILE WAITING FOR THE 17HOURS TO BE OVER, WE WERE AGAIN SERVED THE MOROCCOAN FOOD THAT I COULD NOT TELL HOW IT TASTED. IT WAS SERVED FOR LUNCH AND DINNER.. I MANAGED TO EAT THOUGH.
ON FRI.18TH AT EXACTLY 1AM, THE 17HOURS LAY OVER CAME TO AN END... AND WE WERE TRANSFERED FROM THE TERMINAL 1 OF THE AIRPORT TO WHERE WE TO CATCH THE FLIGHT... WE WERE CHECKED IN AGAIN... AND FIND OUR WAY TO THE BOEING 787-8 AIRCRAFT.. VERY LOVELY AIRCRAFT... WE TOOK OFF FROM CASABLANCA TO NEW YORK AT EXACTLY 04:30AM... I ENTERTAINED MYSELF WHILE ON BOARD.. WATCHED MOVIES AND LISTENED TO THE MUSIC OF MY CHOICE... AGAIN WE WERE SERVED THEIR SO CALLED FOOD (NIGERIANS CAN CALL IT 'EBO'). I SHA MANAGED TO EAT IT AGAIN. WE GOT JFK - NEW YORK AT EXACTLY 7:05AM(LOCAL TIME).. I STEPPED MY FEET ON AMERICAN SOIL FOR THE FIRST IN MY LIFE... IMMEDIATELY PROCEEDED TO THE CBP OFFICER FOR CLEARANCE.
HERE IS MY SHORT CHAT WITH HIM

CBP:GOOD MORNING
ME: I PASSED HIM MY DECLARATION FORM, PASSPORT AND I-20
CBP: CHECKED THEM, CAPTURED MY RIGHT FINGERS PRINT AND TOOK MY PHOTOGRAPH... STAMPED MY PASSPORT AND RETURN MY DOCS TO ME.

I WENT IN TO CLAIM MY LUGGAGES AND EXIT THE AIRPORT FOR MY DESTINATION.

AFTER THE WHOLE PROCESS I WELCOMED MYSELF TO AMERICA... GOD'S OWN COUNTRY.

Please, under CBP... Wat is declaration form?

Your university will send transcript for evaluation but your certificates I.e bsc certificate, waec certificate, original will be send tru DHL, FedEx etc for evaluation and confirmation. After everything, they will send it back together with your copy of evaluation.
