PhonesRe: No Data Limits On New Mtn Nigeria Simple Surf Internet Subscription Plan by gentlegg(m): 6:49pm On Apr 03, 2012
MTN IS A PURE FRAUD. I SAW THE ADVERT OF THE HOURLY SIMPLE SURF LAST WEEK AND IMMEDIATELY I SUBSCRIBED TO 300HRS - N13,000 FOR 3 MONTHS, HOPING TO ENJOY THE UNLIMITED DATA USAGE, PROBABLY A LOT OF ONLINE VIDEO STREAMING I'VE BEEN WISHING FOR. TO MY CHAGRIN THAT SIMPLE SURF IS NOT THE SAME SPEED WITH DATA BUNDLES. INITIALLY I THOUGHT IT'S FROM MY SYSTEM, BUT WHEN I PUT BACK MY GLO REMAINING PACKAGE, THE THING BROWSE AS FAST AS USUAL, THEN MY SIMPLE SURF AGAIN, AS SLOW AS A SNAIL. TO EVEN BROWSE IS QUITE SLOW LET ALONE VIDEO STREAMING OR DOWNLOAD(THE HIGHEST DOWNLOAD I'VE GOT IS 15KBPS. STILL TRYING TO CONFIRM WHAT'S HAPPENING, I SUBSCRIBED TO N100 - 10MB MTN BUNDLE, THE FEW MINUTES IT LASTED ON MY SYSTEM IT WAS AS FAST AS NORMAL MTN 3G DATA BUNDLES AND TRIED DOWNLOADING, THE LEAST I GOT IS 65KBPS BEFORE IT'S EXHAUSTED, SO I CONFIRMED THAT MTN PROGRAMMED THE SIMPLE SURF TO A DIFFERENT INTERNET BASE THAT IS SLOW AS ORDINARY DIAL UP, AND DON'T EVEN THINK OF ANYTHING VIDEO STREAMING.
RIGHT NOW AM REGRETTING THE 13K, INFACT THIS AFTERNOON I CALLED A FRIEND BEGGING HIM TO PAY ME ANY AMOUNT AND TAKE THIS SIMPLE SURF SO I CAN SUBSCRIBE BACK TO MY GLO, BUT THE GUY REFUSED. AND MTN NEVER ADVERTISED THAT THE SO CALLED UNLIMITED DATA SIMPLE SURF HAS A DIFFERENT SPEED OF INTERNET. PURE 419.

PoliticsRe: Will Ngozi Okonjo-iweala's Exit Paralyze Jonathan? by gentlegg(m): 10:13am On Mar 24, 2012
This topic is tooooooooooo annoying to me. For Christ sake, what has that fat woman done to our economy? I challenge anybody here to pin point single magic she has done for the betterment of the ordinary man in this country that warrants anybody in his or her right senses to think that her exit will paralyze the paralytic called Nigeria.

Christianity EtcRe: Dear Lord, Answer This Prayer. by gentlegg(m): 10:00am On Mar 07, 2012
The poster's request in the prayer to leave this country may not be the best of requests but i feel his lamentations about Nigeria. Honestly even Prophet Jeremiah's (the weeping prophet) tears will run dry within 1 hour if he were to weep for Nigeria. My heart bleeds much more than the poster's whenever i remember about this misconstrued entity called Nigeria.

Imagine a country i was still crying when a court dismissed the case against Dimije Bankole, then last week i heard that another court dismissed the case against Gbenga Daniels, then i wiped my tears.

If i were to pray like the poster prayed, my prayer for Nigeria is only three worded prayer; LORD, DIVIDE NIGERIA

Am instinctively sure that you will not marry that girl after. May God save the poor girl's life, so two lives won't be lost, as both of you seriously cries and weeps for GOD'S FORGIVENESS
PoliticsRe: If Nigeria Will Break, Let It Breat--pastor Oyedepo by gentlegg(m): 9:52am On Feb 29, 2012
IF ACTUALLY OYEDEPO SAID IT, THEN THIS IS THE BEST STATEMENT I'VE HEARD FROM HIM.
COME TO THINK OF IT, IF NIGERIA BREAKS, EVERY BODY/TRIBE WILL EVEN ENJOY IT AFTER. ONLY THAT THESE DEVILS IN ASO ROCK/PDP WOULDN'T ENJOY IT.
PoliticsRe: Why This Fuel Scarcity? by gentlegg(m): 5:41pm On Feb 23, 2012
noblezone:
AS far as Govenrment is paying subsidy, the marketters can afford to hold us to ransome. This is what Jonathan and his team wanted to stop, but Nigerians said no. Until the Petroluem industry is privatised, fuel scarcity must be there.
Throughout 2011 there was never fuel scarcity. Why did the scarcity start now?

Reference:
Thank you sir. How can you demand for something you cannot control. Only market forces can guarantee the availability of essential commodities whether petrol, electricity, fertilizer or hard currency. Ask Russia or North Korea. The Buhari regime tried to anti-corrupt the import license system on essential commodities when you needed a special note from Oga to eat imported rice. Need I say how it all ended. Sorry Nigerians, this subsidy path we have taken will bring only short term pain, medium term stress  and we will eventually abandon it. Even the Vatican cannot stop sharp practices in an artificial market thoughtless of Mammonites, sorry I mean Nigerians.
Which forces kept fuel available throughout N65 regime?

Evil Brain:
There is scarcity because both the importers and the marketers are corrupt, and the president is incompetent. The January protests have forced them to lay low with all the blatant stealing that was happening before so there is less incentive to import.

If the government wasn't so useless, I would have supported the total removal of subsidy. But since any savings are just going to be wasted/stolen anyway, I'd rather we just enjoy as much cheap fuel as we can get. The black market stuff isn't likely to be much more expensive than the subsidized price anyway, so we're not losing much.

O for a government that actually works.
Good point. Our government is simply useless, insensitive, selfish and devilish. Is only a fool that will expect a reasonable result from the best effort of a foolish man

livapul86:
@ OKIJA JUJU: I totally agree with you. Its unfortunate most folks can't see the bigger picture while responding to policies of our elected officials. Before you guys go mouthing off about my being a hater of Rochas and Imo, let me proudly state- ahum onye Ubomiri/ Mbaitoli LG. Are you guys comfortable with the standard of Imsu? Won't you rather have a university that is at 50-60% in quality & structure to other premier universities of the world?. On the surface, the policy is a populist one and i can understand the sentiments most people share for anything FREE from the govt. But when carefully analysed, we're better off having those funds spent on delivering quality content than this elaborate grandstanding.
Since 1960, no Nigerian university have attained half of the percentage you quoted in quality and structure and yet students are paying through their nose, you didn't say anything, now even with your purported no-quality but 100% subsidized, you're ranting here. Ubomiri ko, mbaitoli ni
FamilyRe: My Husband Is Married To His Draft Game by gentlegg(m): 5:04pm On Feb 14, 2012
My advice to women is to stop seeking too much attention from their husband. Provided he does his responsibilities in the house. Unfortunately most women/girls that complain of their husband going outside the house are always the people driving them out. Just like my wife, she will always ask me to look at her eyeball to eyeball anytime she is talking to me.

I have been using MTN 3g service since 2009 and it have been okay, at least their downtime has been very rare and averagely fast. But since January 24th i switched to GLO (just recently got to know that GLO have 3g network coverage in my area). PoliticsRe: Nddc Budgets N1.3bn For Fumigation by gentlegg(m): 3:57pm On Feb 03, 2012
Corruption and embezzlement is now endemic and genetic in this country. I keep saying it, i don't see any light at the end of this tunnel called Nigeria, only radical/violent revolution will overhaul this country for good. All this Badluck Jonathan's propaganda is just a different track of the same album still playing.

I am an Igbo, supports MASSOB's agitation but not their style. Infact i live a few metres away from where this incident of Massob with Army happened on sunday. Those Massob boys are clowns, stupid, pure Abakaliki boys. Imaging them mounting road blocks and collecting money from bikes and vehicles carrying goods, terrorizing and harassing us their supposed brothers. Before you do any construction work in our area you have to pay them some charges first and so many other miscreant activities. Where and when you expect them to react, they wouldn't. Infact the military should flush them out

Freedom Radio correspondents have witnessed more than 100 corpses at the various hospitals in Kano, victims of the multiple attacks of Friday evening. However competent sources indicate that majority of the dead were members of BOKO HARAM.
Does it mean Boko haram killing themselves or boko jiharam killing boko haram?
