Car TalkRe: Passengers & Goods Loaded Together In A BRT Bus At Idumota (Pictures) by gerald09(m): 8:57pm On Oct 04, 2013
I will keep saying this Nigerian poor people enjoy suffer head, u sit down an watch dem treat u like animals some1 will blame GEJ for over loading the bus, u have 53 people in dat bus all grumbling and no single 1 will stand up for there ryt to a comfortable ride, the bus was meant to carry passengers not goods. Dis is exactly the kind of thing that shows Nigerians are not ready to embrace change

biafranqueen: This guy has already began defrauding our people

If he can do this to his own Kinsman why not the rest of you
http://www.bellanaija.com/2012/11/10/nigerian-business-moguls-battle-how-ifeanyi-ubah-swindled-me-of-n21-billion-by-cosmas-maduka/
If this guy does politics dis way I fink if elected Anambra is in for another 8 years of suffering. How do 1 impersonate a King in his own Land, in public to endorse ur political career. What was Ifeani tinkin, did he fink d people wouldn't findout, did he fink his opponent will fold there hand and let it happen. I can see his true form. I have never supported any1 with d name "Uba" dey are bunch of conmen. If this was 1 of his tricks den he is a very bad Magician.

Car TalkRe: FG To Phase Out Tokunbo Cars by gerald09(m): 11:34am On Oct 03, 2013
ebenezer4o2: Let's talk about the economic implications of this if followed to the letter.

If such cars are stoped from being imported into Nigeria, then here ceases to be a dumping ground and hence an increase in the assembly of local automobiles thereby fostering Job creation in the industry.

It brings about an equilibrium,to an extent in the export multiplier process thereby stabilizing the economy.

It also helps to spring up subsidiary industries.

All these are measures put together by the FG to strenghten the Naira and improve the economy as a whole.More are yet to come, kudos to the FG.
Exactly what I had in mind, I see this as a good thing, yes d automobile industry is not strong but remember according to "there was a country" Chinwa Achabe 2013 After the west told us we won't be able to get a refinery in a long time, Nigerians build 1 in 1yr. Nigerians are very smart people if giving d opportunity. This policy will automatically sweeten d deal btw manufacturers and banks to give dem more loans to improve dere companies and employ more hands. We complained about rice importation but with less than a year of its policy Ebony rice demand has sky rocketed, @ Nnewi d people buy more of the local rice dan imported hence improving the industry this is just from my research and observation. Give it time, Nigeria will surprise u.

PoliticsRe: Jonathan Appoints 13-member Advisory Committee On National Dialogue by gerald09(m): 11:01pm On Oct 02, 2013
This sounds like a step in the ryt direction (only if) he is not hoping on using dis as a campaign strategy, he may prolong the conference till end of 2014 and tell Nigerians to vote him so he can complete his "National conference meeting" project then probably after getting voted in, he changes his mind. By that tym we are phucked.
He already knowns what Nigerians want so he will use dat against us by dangling the worm knowing dat d fish will bit. sounds like politics 101 (tell d people what dey wanna hear, den do what u want after dey vote u). Well sha time will tell. God Bless Nigeria
PoliticsRe: We Should Introduce A Law That Punishes Those Who Insult The President by gerald09(m): 4:29pm On Oct 01, 2013
JMOI: I wonder how many of you saying this now can summon the courage to say it to his face.
None of them can, dey can't even say it to there LG chairman. Dat is y dey vent online and act out by fighting each other. As much as Nigerians hate dere leaders they still can't walk up to dem to express dere anger so dey come on NairaLand and vent it out and go on d street to kill dere fellow Nigerians cos dey are afraid of confronting the real enemy

PoliticsRe: Nigeria's 53 Years Report Card. by gerald09(m): 12:32pm On Oct 01, 2013
djeezy: The problem of Nigeria is Nigerians. We are the ones who kept this nation in this state and we are the same ones criticizing and ridiculing the country. If we Nigerians can ridicule and resent our own country, I wonder how other international communities will look at us. Nigeria is a country where citizens throw tantrums at their president. The so-called politicians who tarnish the image of this country by looting and embezzling public funds were voted in by you. Nigeria is a nation where personal interest overrides public interest. With that card of report card above, I doubt if the student will ever graduate unless he/she works harder. When a student fails, he does not fail alone, he fails with his parents, his teachers and all those who neglected to proactive. God bless Nigeria.
God will bless you too. Even somalia which is amongst d messed up country is respected by there people. Nigerians have successfully killed and buried Nigeria and even when we get killed by outsiders we still blame Nigeria. The National anthem makes no meaning again, our past heroes will be regretting ever fighting for Nigeria cos the left bad children behind and every each one of us have contributed to d destruction of our country. U neva know what u have until its lost, we are loosing Nigeria and if it continues the country will burn by us striking the match stick n pouring fuel.

Are we really going broke?
We probably are or probably not. The facts is check out the messengers (G7). Hell has no fury like a woman scorned. They are all scorned women looking for attention. If it was the APC, LP that came up with such info I wuld give it a second tot n find out if it true but since its about the G7 then its all for "selfish interest" Nuffin else

kheart: do u need glasses? Go back and read the headline.
Well I actually wear glasses, all dis fight, and disagreement is not about Nigerians, I have read it 200times and it still comes to 1 thing "Self interest". It says that all governors are angry too but only d G7 governors are acting. Y only 7 of them. If the whole governors are angry with d way things are don let them come out openly rather than whisper in d dark. The truth they say sets us free. Free from misinformation, free from misunderstanding.

The Divide and conquer rule. by insulting him cos he is igbo has just shown how these people are winning, they constantly use people like u against urselves. PoliticsRe: Revenue Shortfall: Fresh Crises Brews Between Jonathan And Govs by gerald09(m): 8:21am On Sep 29, 2013
I still don't understand y Nigerians still give attention to these good for nufin nPDP governors. They have no respect for Nigeria n Nigerians. Every becker, vexing and name calling is all for selfish reason. I am not saying GEJ or NOI are good people but dey both have changed the "status quo" in government and these greedy SOBs have not bin able to catch up with dere 21st century politics so the cry out to Nigerians dat are as st*upid as dey are. I am not askin u to accept my views but b4 u judge ask urself, how has these nPDP governors or sympathisers actually help impact real change to Nigeria. This is not about GEJ/NOI incompetence, its about lack of money to loot for themselves. So please b4 u start insulting me go and findout their true intentions, I bet u will be disappointed u ever trusted them (nPDP).
PoliticsRe: Massive Looting Going On Under Jonathan- NEW PDP by gerald09(m): 11:43pm On Sep 28, 2013
geeez: And you keep hearing of growth growth growth

What does it take to reduce inflation? Easy ... Reduce cash in circulation (sell TBs)
What does it take to strengthen your currency against the dollar? Easy ... Reduce imports or increase exports or both
What does it take to increase your GDP? Not easy ... Increase local production (Only happening in Kaduna, Lagos, Osun, Ogun)
What does it take to increase IGR? Not easy ... Increase taxes or reduce corruption or stimulate your local economy (Only happening in Lagos, Ogun, Ekiti, Enugu and Osun)

What does it take to increase per capita? Easy ... Increase minimum wage but inflation would rise

Apart from the items in red which is not happening in Nigeria except in those states listed, 'growing' an economy not rocket science
I respect ur contribution and I agree with ur words but if u actually fink dese dudes actually gives a f*uck about Nigerians and d suffering den dude u 1 gullible individual. The only reason they are here ryt now complaining bitterly is just cos greed in there circle has cut up with them and they have bin fighting GEJ for there own personal interest nufin else. When dey talk about corruption in government dey don't mean it d way u n I mean it what he is saying is "GEJ God punish u, u no won give us our own cut from the loot, and u won make EFCC arrange our fu*ck up" "I go show u say we still get silly Nigerian dat will buy our BS."

eGuerrilla: You must have some serious funding for this initiative. If not, I will strongly recommend opting for a crowdsourced approach like the other outfit I mentioned.
I tot of using crowdsoures but sometimes they get false info, I want to provide Nigerians with real time even, I just purchased an item that make it possible to stream online while its happening, I hear most Nigerian big churches uses it.
