Ah many moved with their family.

I also did.
So the dependant can work or can hustle for COS.
It's all risk... But with two heads the hustle for cos becomes better than one.
Cos means certificate of sponsorship that's the only way u could stay back in the country. Another way is by marriage to whiteman or woman
Apparently, the study route to the UK is a bad deal. Almost one hundred million to a country with fewer economic opportunities on a one year visa is a very bad deal. I wonder who and what pushed such people to engage in such.

How does he intend to recoup the equivalent? 80m naira shocked shocked shocked

Your analysis is on point. Means of survival or thriving isn't really an issue or mine, just somewhere very safe. If there's one thing I appreciate living here is the absolute safety. Mid-tier/Developed Asian cities tend to be very safe or at least less violent.

Ultimately, for every migrant regardless of the skin colour, the US is the best.

Interesting.

My belief as a result of my experience over one year living in Japan is that: as a Black man, you enjoy your money better in a Black dominated environment (tropical as well), that's safe, where the majority look like you. I can understand your rich friend's perspective of driving a G-Wagon in Nigeria, but Ghana and South Africa are better off than the UK.

The G-Wagon sef, aside Lagos and Abuja, I really can't see where it becomes that safe and enjoyable to drive it elsewhere in Nigeria.

This is very true. My theory is that: give a Nigerian man N100 and he would spend at least N50 on women. So yes, I can understand what you mean.

All this redpill is coping mechanism, women reject them. They need to rant and cook up a theory.they need to dig deep and answers questions. Hormones are what controls a man.then later peace of mind and Respect. Nothing aside this three things control a masculine man.

Emm what am trying to say is that UK is better than Nigeria.. Truth be told.

But when compared with the amount u will pay to get there now to what u meet ob ground then u start to ask ur self questions. Except u got a work visa straight up. Then fine

For example. Going via school visa fit take almost 40 million from ur hand or above that.

The chances u graduate then get 2 years working visa. Then fight get certificate of sponsorship..... If all this didn't click right then ur 40m might not be gotten back.

Those that went to UK in 2022 didn't spend up to 5m.i know guys that spent 1.5m take enter uk 2021 but today school don increase fees, government don add their cost of living, visa and health insurance. And lastly naira dob devalue.

Tacha went via school and she gives her experience.

So its painful that u paid soo much and end uo standing on one leg and on probability with the government changing rules every year.

There is someon that spent over 80m to come last year with family on a one year visa.. Can u make 80 in 2 years in UK? With shift money?
Please, what's the name of the university Tacha attended?

Regarding the man who spent almost 100m, why did he move with his family on a one year visa?
CelebritiesRe: Most People In The UK Are Broke - Reality TV Star, Tacha by Gerrard59(m): 12:41am On Jun 26, 2025
It seems Tacha is still spending her Nigerian earnings in the UK while expecting freebies from folks, especially men, in the name of "take this money because you're a beautiful girl" in the UK. Older Nigerian men in Nigeria have spoilt these women with excessive monetary gifts that they find it hard to thrive in value added societies.

The fact is no one seeks a God fearing, decent and well coordinated man than a damaged street girl.

So in summary, this post is to protect the innocent men from the street girls. If you grew up dating Yahoo boys, married men, sugar daddies and others please go to those category of men for marriage and don't go to that young man who sacrificed his youthful pleasure to build his career and life.
To be fair, this is appropriate. So your gospel is in order especially to the group of men who tirelessly built themselves. I, for one, cannot date a lady who once dated a yahoo yahoo boy.

You're very funny. I tried replying to the guy you quoted to correct his shallow mind and SIMPing mentality but Nairaland b o-t stopped me. Firstly, you can't mock me because you're a real low-life. My posts isn't about mocking anyone but dishing out the reality. If you're not guilty of what I accused some set of ladies doing then you won't feel shamed. What's funny about you so-called low budget feminists is that you believe civilisation is only for the female while the male still live in the dark age.
I find it funny when I am labelled a simp, whereas I have been posting against rabid misandry disguised as feminism. All I am against is extremism because it does more harm than any good. That was how Ndi ifeminisi labelled men all sorts of names that we had an Andrew Tate and several offshoots. We have had an era where young men were falsely labelled rapists even when the incidient never happened or there was no clear cut evidence. Now, should a lady put a rape claim incident online, many don't outrightly believe her. Extremism is bad for both sides.

As highlighted in some of my posts here:
https://www.nairaland.com/8456524/past-operating-system-not-passed
https://www.nairaland.com/8458261/dont-responsible-decent-man-see

Men are now fully aware of the game used by street ladies to lure innocent, decent men into marriage.
The issue with your post is that you are not addressing the root of the matter. These women don't sleep with fellow women (at least in most cases). It is our men, especially those in the south, who fuel this trade. As long as men continue to pay humongous sums for sex, the supply will continue to soar. Check the rates charged in the Lekki-Ajah axis; it means the business is good. Our men, especially men in these groups:
- Money miss road Igbo men
- Yahoo yahoo boys
- Politicians

...are the root causes of this skyrocketing hookup trade. I have written them here:
- https://www.nairaland.com/8064135/hook-up-girls-earnings-expenses-pictured

Additionally, there is the prevailing belief that a Nigerian man who is financially comfortable should be polygamous in nature. Such a man will have sexual intercourse with many women, and as long as this belief exists, it means there will be fewer chaste ladies. Men have sex with women; thus, we cannot expect to have plenty of chaste women when men are allowed or encouraged to have sex with as many women as they desire. The math is not mathing.

BTW, with the red pill preaching I have read so far, our men still marry rabid misandrists, pay huge sums to escorts, pay for their women's education, pay huge amounts for dates, kneel to propose, etc. So, you see, it is either the gospel isn't spreading enough or the target audience isn't interested.

Even British citizens of immigrant backgrounds head to Eastern Europe to study medicine and nursing, and later return to the UK for work. If your parents aren't rich rich, it is maddening to undergo undergraduate studies outside Africa. If your parents aren't rich, it is stoopid to do so outside Nigeria. The Internet is available for everyone. Did you not see the tuition fees and living expenses beforehand? Huh?!

Stay back in Nigeria to undergo undergraduate studies. Tinubu, in his munificent nature, has provided student loans; grab them, study in Nigeria, gain work experience, save up, and then leave so you can live in a dignified manner. Unlike yesteryears, Nigeria now has many good private universities, so enough choices. E full ground yanfu-yanfu.

P.S. I did not mention scholarships because there are very few for foreigners wishing to study at the undergraduate level and they are extremely competitive. Please let's try to be realistic in our pursuits.

A very good topic to research. Honestly, I hope to track Nigerians who emigrated during the '80s - '90s to see how many returned permanently. If I cannot, I will follow up with those who emigrated 2015 - 2025. So, we are looking at 2030 - 2045 to see if there will be a japada of sort.

Originals must be sighted during the admission process. They are not only needed for enrolment, except the term "enrollment" means a different concept. The belief by the Japanese is that these documents could easily be obtained, sent, and replaced when needed. Unfortunately, Japan is not Nigeria. I could obtain my transcripts by using the faulty machine 10 times annually - free of charge. It is hard to even get a transcript from the typical Nigerian university. Yes, Richie should send the documents to the admission department and they must be originals or notarised. If he applies to say three schools, he needs to send them to those schools. See why the concept of the Japanese does not align with ours?

Notarised copies.

Thank you. Gerrard59 and Blackbriar
Is it a standard practice in Japan for schools to request for original physical documents during application stage? When i had the Zoom call with my prospective supervisor and one of his PhD students two weeks ago, he told me to upload my documents to Google Drive and send the link to his email, which I did last week after paying the screening fee. Since I hadn’t heard back from him and the deadline for the October intake is this week, I sent a follow-up email. He replied, informing me that I need to send the original documents to his postal address via EMS or FedEx. I though original documents are during final enrollment /in-person registration when admission has been granted as is the case with most universities.
Yes, it is very necessary. Japanese have a predilection for hard/physical copies. Something that could be done online, they request papers. They love paper documents way more than online copies. Get a notary to certify those documents. Don't send your original hard copies as you know how hard it is to obtain them in Nigeria. Here, such documents are easily obtainable. If the deadline is so close, plead for a two week extension and explain why you did not send them on time due to original documents being a one-time thing unlike in Japan.

With regards to Jobs, it has been a nasty experience, the recruiters keep ghosting after telling me to pick a date
Unfortunately, that is how it is when outside. Maybe ask Blackbiar the agencies those Indians who got here directly from India went through. I am not familiar with applying for jobs here while outside the country.

Why antagonise these men simply because of their economic conditions? No one likes being poor or broke or struggling financially. Most men don't like it. So why deride and mock them with that?

Men have told you the reason why they prefer under 30 years ladies. Even science supports their claim. The same way women seek men for money, men seek women for their youth because of fertility. Ladies go back to your friendzoned list. It's not always greener on the other side. you are not perfect and the guys in your list are not perfect as well so find the guy that is goal driven and hold on to him.

Men are the ones who decide marriage yet you are saying they have outdated mindset. That's like a trader shaming customers for what they want. Men get more attractive later in life because they acquire experience and assets that benefits the family, women are attractive in their younger adult stage because of looks and fertility.

If you are going to spend your youth chasing money, then you best be ready to spend that money for the family together with what your husband brings.your other points were actually good and yeah men-to-women ratio isn't that far apart so yes you are correct on that.

To the rest of your post, you are largely correct, as most of the people who make these senseless comments, ditto those with poor economic reasoning, don't cut it. They look very impoverished and haggard. I have gone through pictures and profiles on Facebook and did not bother to reply to comments. It is unfortunate that our people aren't using the Internet to their advantage to learn better content, learn how to comprehend passages better, write legibly and intelligently, construct arguments better, etc. Many Nigerians are lettered illiterates.

However, the issue with marrying late is simply biological on the woman's side. IVF is damn expensive in everywhere part of the world. The younger a woman is, the better her chances of childbearing, including instances where she could not give birth early enough or had miscarriages. That is a biological fact that many women in your shoes have to come to terms with. The solutions, as you listed, are eating well, drinking water and performing consistent exercises. The other solution is to have fewer children, so rather than three or four, maximum of two does it.

And oh yes! Humans these days marry their kind, so don't bother yourself with the rants on many public pages. You would most likely never meet them physically. Your paths won't cross whatsoever, not even in churches.

Competency can be trained. Dishonesty wrecks every business.
