The boy is neither educated nor informed. What he doesn't know is the nuisance he is performing online is enabled by many educated people Masters, Phd, Bsc, etc, who doesn't need to make noise on the internet to survive.

On a different note, TikTok have a reputation for platforming nuisances and giving them material wealth, many analysts said this is probably to discourage youth from developing meaningful skills in relevant areas that could compete with the Chinese interest, reason why countries like India ban TikTok, and America is keen on controlling it, or banning it
What did those analysts say when Facebook, with its Facebook app and Instagram, ruled the world of social media? Did they say the same about Snapchat? Why TikTok?

The problem with the Internet is that you have too many people who have never run profitably businesses using their fingers to criticise unnecessarily. The MSc criterion might be to reduce the numbers, as I agree that certain fields should not have strict academic requirements.

Whether what he does is amusing or nonsensical does not count. He solves a problem and makes money out of it.

And how is 500K a poor salary? Isn't that the entry-level salaries by banks in the country?

Your last paragraph became rampant not up to two decades ago.
Men first cheated the game by seeing women pants without offering commitment. "What are we now," was a thing as far as the 80s.

We didn't wake up one day and decide that no house date anymore. It's since our grandparents time we always hear story of men chopping and going or getting girls pregnant and running. This heightened hypergamy is a recent thing. Where I did my HND,we had a lot of couples cohabiting.the men were as broke as rag. They will collect sex, some times twice of thrice a day.do abortions.still contribute money and where is the relationship today?, this supposedly loyal women are the evening newspapers men are insulting every market day. If you as a young girl have two aunties in their late thirties that are single and you heard tales from your mother of how they were disappointed by a man will you want to make the same mistake or will rather follow the rich guy at least you know your stand.
I agree with the bold, and have thought of it as one of the reasons many young women aren't vulnerable. Their elders have drummed their experiences into their heads, experiences they had with men. This also applies to women earning a lot of money, but husbands are solely saddled with the responsibilities.

Sidechicks to married men are finding husbands and the married men even present in the wedding or supported largely to the wedding. Infact they have more successful marriages than normal good girls because they have heard their married boyfriend complain of their wives.their married boyfriends were coming to them when having issues with their wives so they know the dos and don'ts of dealing with men.Why won't Judy win yul? You have had two failed marriages and three children have come from your vagina already and you expect her not to know the manual of dealing with men?
I agree with the bold as well, judging from my female classmates.

I will advise any young girl I see who hasn't seen a husband to date a rich man but don't foolishly get pregnant or get STDs. And when you find husband, discard him.
How many rich men dey Nigeria compared to the number of young women around? At the end of the day, these girls will share one rich man, especially in states with few wealthy men.

Marry the girls you disvirgined and 90% of our dating problems are solved skikena
This is on point. But the sex here takes two to tango. At best, two teenagers. You wouldn't expect teens to marry themselves. The alternative will be for teen girls to say no to sex until they decide to marry. What benefit a man gets while dating such a lady is what I am perplexed about.

I don't believe in this balancing or kumbaya you do. When I criticise men for something,it's peculiar to men. when I criticise women,it's peculiar to women. Men are selfish in the dating game. women operate on a win win situation with men. Men operate on a zero some game with women. Women are ready to trade sex for commitment.or trade sex for money. They are ready to give and take. Most men that bankroll women are getting sex. Most men that are on committed relationships are getting sex in return.the only exception to this is when women collect transport money and don't show up for sex or put ketchup in their pants to feign period. All those petty things.but not the norm
I agree with this.

Men want to have sex and close their pockets and also their heart.

So men are selfish not both genders
So, nothing like true love? We seem to agree on one thing then.

Tightpussy2024:
My niece is telling me of a guy she is in talking stage with. From all she has told me,it is her pant he wants to see. Shishi he no get.its house date they have been doing then he will give her Fanta he saved from party and his mother chinchin.

She asked him why he has never spent on her,he said money is not love. I told her to tell him that anyday he asks for sex,she should say,"sex is not love too"
To be honest, this is a fair deal. But the same women are upset when a man comes direct with the "money for hand, back for ground" model. You know this model has further fueled the hookup industry and erased chivalry since women are all about money first. I watched a lady on Twitter who lives in Asaba lament that all the men there do is ask "how much?" No man wants to be in a relationship. You see where this is leading everyone to? So far, there is money, fvck and go. If it is fvck when there is money, Nigerian men are so good at it. In return, nothing like commitment again o. After all, all women want is money and show workings.

You are very correct.

Omotola got her EB1 approved and got her green card in Nigeria before relocating to the US, na just to break into hollywood dey give am issues, and it looks like she does not want to really pivot to some other industry
Teju Baby face similar story...these people came in with the right visas and yes having a solid career in Nigeria before moving(like u said) improved their negotiation power, whether for EB1 or EB2 or consultancy gigs or whatever route they wana take.

Some will come in as married on visiting visa, overstay the visa, then years down the road they start saying coming to US na mistake. Especially all these upcoming artistes and nollywood people. No plan no strategy, just i be star i be celebrity i dey go America
Everything you stated is appropriate. However, just to correct something, Banky W is an American citizen. He studied at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Before then, he went to Corona Schools - the same school that the CBN governor and Yemi Osinbajo studied. Banky W's mom from Akwa Ibom worked at ExxonMobil. His wife, Adesuwa, is a British citizen and also a Corona School alumna.

Ok. Do you have idea how someone who entered through tourist visa can regularize his stay and get job?
That is not possible and actually illegal. To secure a job as a foreigner, you require a resident permit, also known as a Zairyu Card. To obtain this card, you must have exchanged the Certificate of Eligibility (COE) that the employing organisation issued to you at the airport. Without the COE, you cannot obtain a work visa to come here. A work visa is different from a tourist visa. A tourist visa cannot be exchanged for a work visa. Anything aside from the standard work visa and you desire to work here would lead to SUFFER HEAD. Life would be MISERABLE!!!!

Men are being very disingenuous and selfish.
Before billing wasn't attached to men not until men will run after sex.
Both genders are selfish. Generally, many human beings aren't selfless.

Ask women that bill men to their teeth why they do,they will tell you that men will run after sex.

Men want free sex ,and to discard whenever they wish then start talking of post nut clarity or the lady starts hearing stories when it's time for commitment.

If women insist on no sex till marriage, let women close their legs, and men close their pockets, they will not agree. Most women will accept this offer but men wouldn't. At least it's a win win situation no one lost anything,if at all someone did,if things go south,it's the woman, her time.
But men no go gree.

Oya pay me well before you see puna, men will not still gree.they will start grumbling on why dey need to pay for sex.

What men want is free and unrestricted access to sex while withholding and hoarding their commitment .

There is an age somewhere women will reach when they are tired of men they will just take up hookup or be mistresses of an alhaji and have their peace.
Yes. Unfortunately, many men haven't or don't want to come to terms with this simple fact. Men want the milk without buying the cow. Fair enough, but women have realised that they are being cheated, so they price the milk rather than giving it out freely.

I don't believe in free sex, especially in the Nigerian context, and actually do advocate for paid sex. It's our hypocritical and prudish state that make our men to seek free sex yet condemn/mock the women for offering it. My wish is to check Southern Africa and the Caribbeans to gauge their attitudes towards "free sex".

Yes, many women can stay without sex. Even married women who ordinarily should be ready to have continuous sex with their husbands arrogantly deny their husbands sex.

Paid sex should be promoted. It's the fairest thing to do

That was the question I asked when I first saw the headline. What was the category of visa that he used to move to the US? Entertainers shouldn't move when they're building their fan base. Banky W and Omotola are outliers and both moved after having solid careers in Nigeria.

I agree that the reforms are necessary. They don't even go far enough, but they're good enough to slow down the downward trajectory for now.

You must also remember that Bola Tinubu opposed the very same reforms when President Jonathan implemented them in 2012. Mr Tinubu exploited his control of Lagos to force a retention of fuel subsidies. Anyone who praises Tinubu without mentioning that history is a hypocrite at best.

The current reforms are shallow and will only bring temporary relief. The Land Use Act, Petroleum Industry Act and Solid Minerals Act all need to be repealed and robust property rights introduced to Nigeria. All taxes should be scrapped and replaced by a VAT with a Constitutionally set maximum of 9% and maybe a 1% extra tax on the top 1% income earners.

The bitcoin and etherium should be made legal tender. There should be legal restrictions on the ability of the CBN to create money. There should be laws to DISCOURAGE anyone from becoming a government employee and ALL citizens must be allowed to own arms and furthermore the government should be mandated to arm each citizen with a fully automatic rifle at a minimum.

The Federal Government should be prohibited by law from setting prices for ANYTHING, including forex and labor. No government should own ANY commercial entity and ONLY State governments should be allowed to own schools, universities and hospitals, airports and seaports and bridges.

Good Luck to Nigerians
The bold is very unrealistic. No reasonable country has initiated such. The rest are appropriate, but Tinubu cannot initiate all of them and yes, anyone who denies his involvement in ousting Jonathan and opposing the removal of fuel subsidies then is a tribalistic liar and hypocrite.

What have you been doing since almost a decade? You cannot say you haven't been doing anything to keep body and soul together.

Nevertheless, the lure of tertiary education would lessen a bit with the spread of multiple means to earn good money and different models of learning. Ultimately, the most important part of one's education are primary and secondary.

I married early, very early.i wasn't pressuring or reminding anyone or asking deep questions or testing or googling "is this man serious about me".
We will meet knack and go on outings . It was sex sex sex and billing. No witholding sex to test his commitment.
Same can't be said for a marriage oriented lady who will be calculating how long to date before having sex and having rules.i didn't play the 80/20 rule.
@gerra.rd59
The aspect of knack and bill is being practised today, but the vulnerability is wearing out. Men are arguing that they want virgins, but they still want to knack. The women are billing, so they don't lose out entirely. Generally, Nigerians are prudish in a hypocritical way.

Truth is,even if I were a man,I will be wary because just after 6 months, pressure for marriage will come in.
Well, this is one of the reasons some of us steer clear of our age mates so we don't get pressured unnecessarily. I am not a fan of wasting someone's time. Looking at it closely, marrying early has strong advantages. However, the state of the global economy and the rise in individualism have made it look unattainable and unrealistic for many.

From a concerned patriot — a full-blooded Yoruba daughter who is tired of watching Nigeria fall apart.
I find the bold interesting because in your previous thread about Evening newspaper, you were accussed of being Igbo as a result of using the terms Agbado and Ogbomosho.

Well, about Peter Obi's chances, as I rightly predicted seven months before the 2023 elections, he cannot win an election: https://www.nairaland.com/7225545/why-peter-obi-step-down In 2019, he paired with Atiku as VP against Buhari and they lost. Kwankwaso also worked in the 2019 movement to oust Buhari. However, in 2023, they went their separate ways and expected to win against a formidable incumbent? Also, Tinubu is not Jonathan, so why do you people think he would lose an election when he is the incumbent? Why? The best time to stop Tinubu was in 2023, not 2027. The man is going nowhere. As I have repeatedly stated on this forum, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu would rather commit suicide than lose the 2027 presidential election.

Obviously, Peter Obi did well for his first outing as a presidential candidate on a relatively unknown party and as an Igbo man. However, the main goal is getting into Aso Rock. The best chance was in 2023 if he had stayed with the PDP as VP candidate to Atiku. Unfortunately for both men, they won't enter Aso Rock. I just don't see Tinubu conceding defeat. He is not Jonathan.

That is who we are by nature and circumstances. Nigeria and Africa need these 3 solid rules to make progress.

1. Forbid private ownership of properties. No one should be allow to erect a structure except government or authorised agencies. All land should belong to the government.

2. Government most take total of 100% care of the young below 18yrs and those above 65yrs.

3. Social security for unemployed people should be a must for the government.

If we can do all or one of the above, you will see a tremendous human development like what we are seeing in western countries. You don't expect poverty striken people whose major focus is to accumulate wealth for the future to be innovative.
Highway to multidimensional poverty. In the first place such can only work in ethnically homogeneous countries such as Namibia and Botswana. However, for Nigeria with its many ethnic groups, such is impossible.

Number two and three require enough funds to implement. How do you generate funds when you have banned capitalism - the only economic system that has pulled more people out of poverty than any economic system?

Well the phone accessories business thrives because literally everyone has a phone and once every month or so, you'll have to change/add something in your phone whether it's changing the screen guard or buying a new porch for it.
Secondly all you need for the business is learning what to import and what not and more importantly having a trusted relative/ friend here in Nigeria who'll help you clear, sell and send your money without any issue.
For me, i think you should first learn the business and start small first before talking about importing a 20ft container. You have to know how the business works first and how trusted your relative/ friend is first before investing heavily into it.
I am coming in as an investor and as a link to China. I believe that to hit the ground running in any new business, three factors are important:
- Capital
- Expertise/Technical know-how
- Network/Connections

I am a big fan of collaboration/partnership in business, but finding honest and serious people is the hardest part.

Yesterday was US Independence Day. We had 3 families over to celebrate. Everyone had a good time including our IT friend who set up his laptop in my home office so he could keep an eye on something at work...he works for one of the biggest IT firms in the world. The kids played in the backyard with fireworks. We had a friendly competition with the neighbors who set off theirs. We enjoyed a sumptuous meal and drank and talked politics and gossiped. Despite my admonishment, each family brought food and boxes of wine. One of the grandmas is famous for her "ugba", an Igbo dish. She brought a big bowl for EACH FAMILY to take home. There was foofoo and egusi soup, fried yam and plantain, the works. The IT guy ended up sleeping over with his family and left a few minutes ago.

Wetin again? We're invited to a celebration for a medical doctor that just finished residency, I don't think I will go, I'm what people here call a homebody. An Asian friend in Maryland invited us to his cousins wedding festivities in another state in the next few weeks. A few weeks ago, we teamed up with another family to visit a grandma in another town who was in hospital admission. This is the normal routine in my midsize city here EVERY WEEKEND for those who enjoy such partying or socialization, imagine the activity in major cities where we lived previously.

P.S. As for family, well, it depends on the kind of relationship they've amongst themselves.

Nigerian men used to be proud and emulated by other African men. Today they are laughing stock, looking for any successful woman's to piggy back on out of Nigeria.

Where are men like our fathers; that did all it took to cater for us and our mothers? Where are those men that single handedly took their family abroad? Where are those men that usually travel back to Nigeria to marry and bring their wives abroad?

What we have today are nose piercing, hair braiding sissy boys looking out for already made women to leach on grin One of those sissy nigga like the one above me, is asking where women marry men in Nigeria. For your information they both marry each other, if you want to push it further (giving your knack for nonsense) technically according to the bible it is the woman marrying the man, since the man will leave his family to york with the woman grin
Well, modern Nigerian women wanted, and actually did campaign for emotional driven men. You wanted men who cry and express emotions. Modern Nigerian women are the biggest supporters of transgenders, Bobrisky and James Brown, pegging as a sexual fantasy etc.

You people asked for it, please don't complain.
