Southernigbo:I am a southerner, if you know where and how how I can link up with the decent ones you can chat me up or pm. |
Good day all, I stopped using my laptop for some months because of bad screen. Now, after fixing the screen with a technician, everything works well but when I want to open PDF files I get this message " the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable". Please what could be the cause and solution? I use up P avillion dv6, Intel core i3, 4GB ram, 500GB Hdd, Windows 8.1 One more thing, I find it hard to connect my pc via wireless hot sport with my phone, pc only connect with USB hotsport |
I am interested |
This is a very good thread, please II would appreciate if a thread for Electrical technicians, electricians, technologist, field electrical tech e.t.c is created. It help us to connect, network, share ideas. And those who are more established in the field can request for people who are willing to do jonny-man for them, or thos who might want to train people for free can as well do so. And even more |
lexy2014:Bro. You are very correct when said we need change the constitution totally to a new people and innovative one. But these people in power also help to drive such change. Look at the report of the conference during pres. Jonathan era, after he left the sit, the current one refuse to impliment the confab report. So who do you think can drive such remarkable change for a new constitution ? £££No need to abuse anyone, enlighten those who need to be enlightened via this medium. You could change someone's mindset (which is the major problem with many nigerians) from the way you make your point through this medium. |
My first choice is Adesina Akinwumi Second is Okonjo Iwela Third is Udom Emmanuel fourth is Osinbanjo ( reason, is he is too loyal to Tinubu and Buhari, so he may not do much. He may be controlled by his masters, hee cannot boldly confronts them ) Then the vice president to any of my pick should be Nuhu Ribadu. We need people who can well manage Nigeria in such a way where all its region controls their resources and remit a small percent to the federal government. We need people with capacity, efficiency, dogged, innovative, not corrupt , bold and willing to enforce real discipline on civil service And to all spheres of the county |
Please nairalanders, I need your honest advise and contributions. I want to do a kind of ecommerce where I buy some cheap electronics stuff online from UK, US, Canada to nigeria. And then sell here in Nigeria. But I do not know the best shipping company to use that would be cheap and affordable to be able to make some profit. Besides many of them do not accept debit card transfer. I also want to ask about IPS shipping company, has anyone used them beàfore ? Are they affordable ? I really need advise on how best to do this. Someone advised me to go to FedEx office to discuss with them. I do not really know which options is best for me. |

Victorclean1:Well said. But you did not add the foolish, greedy, selfish, nepotic, diabolic, evil, hypocritical leaders in Nigeria who connived (and still connives) with th the UK to destroy her own people and future because of their present selfish gain. Please anytime we point, announce, observe or blame people who are destroying nigeria and her future we should also announce those who connived with them to wreck the country dry, even if they are our own blood relatives. There were (there still are) black sheep among us who connives with outsiders to destroy her people, from the family to loca, and to federal government. So please, let us awake and never sing the praise of those (no matter how rich they are) who destroy her people for personal profit that won't endure the test of time. |
captainking:Infact, this is what makes many Nigerian owned businesses hardly flourish beyond a certain point - they hardly grow beyond their locality and go international. This is thesame reason why a good company that was well managed by a foreigner (e.g shell, chevron, Agip, Elf, Eni e.t.c) hardly survive after they have been nationalised. I do not mean a white man is better than black man intellectually, but this is the fact about growing businesses or companies in Nigeria. Most of wants to enslave workers to work for them while they only feed on the large profit that comes from the sweat of their employees or customers. |
abiodunbright:Do you know who does pre order of fifa games and sells original ps4 controllers @Ikea? If you do this then let me know. I will send a pm |
Does anyone know about soso games in Lagos? I do not mean to spoil someone's business here, but I regretted doing business with them. Their logistics is the poorest I have had since making orders online locally and internationally. Their logistics outside Lagos is terrible, lots of mistake here and there, taking your orders to a different location and asking you to picked them up with your own money when you had already paid them for waybilling it to your adress. They did thesame thing last year and I thought it was just a one time mistake from them. I pre order for fifa22 from them since last week Thursday. They promised 2 days to deliever after 2 days they promise 3 working days again and up to now I am yet to recieve my order. Please guys on this forum . Help me with reputable people I can make orders with and who deal on ps4 & ps5 cds especially fifa. Where i can make preorders for goods and the order will arrive on time and at my adress. I anticipate your sincere positive contrubutions Thanks |

OneTemplate:OP you should listen to this guy. Let me add, go to a good hospital or clinic (preferably private) with a good laboratory. A good doctor will direct you to their lab. Where a swab of the injury will be made and culture to determine the organism and the drug that could kill it. Please see a good doctor with a good lab. The doctor would be the one to specify which test you need to do at the lab. |
Now I can see, it obvious, these guys up north know the evil they have done and still doing. They are very scared of what a southern president would replicate. They are so scared of the recent southern unity and meetings. These guys are very scared if the the country splits. Do guys see what I am seeing? If any southerner, middle belt leader or government official is reading this, please see them chivering at your unity and oness? How much more would their fear be if you (southern and middle belt leaders) seriously start developing your place and your people, and stop exploiting them. Develop your people, industrialise your regions and state and see how you guys from south and middle belt starts dictating the political and leadership tempo. #christain president from the south and a moslim core middle belt vice president. My take. |
Ibkhaleel:I commend you for this beautiful observation. You are absolutely right on this. I will like to suggest as a solution to this observation, the government should then put it to all the states that if they really and are ready for fiscal federalism and restructuring then the states should give total autonomy to their LGA and state assembly. Then hear from them, or see their reaction to this, rather than the government especially the North posing fearful to restructuring and fiscal federalism. |
The Best thing for this country is to split, abolish the current constitution and make a new people's constitution, or the least go into regional government with every state or regional controlling their resources and emitting some percentage to the government. Nevertheless, if the country should go into regional government or true fiscal federalism where state controls their resources, the president I would love to succeed the present one are any of the one listed: (1) Fermi Adesina ( of the AFDB) (2) Okonji Iweala (3) Yemi Osinbanjo (4) Ogbonnian of Abia state **** thanks OP for this post, we appreciate you ****** **** Okowa of Delta state is a very corrupt politician, as you can see, the person who mentioned him has no cogent reason for mentioning him. I am a Deltan, and I can tell you that man has nothing to offer ***** ***** Any potential president with conscience and competence should also bear in mind to assemble a team with like minds and zeal like his/hers otherwise he/she will and cannot not do anything positive to move this country forward ***** |
Some weeks back, I made a comment about the dumbness of this government and I was band by one of the moderators for reasons best known to them. I was right after all about my comment - you band a crypto trading with banks, now you are developing a digital currency. You would now craftily want to run back to the platform to beg them to allow your crypto be traded on their platform. What is this act called ? And why was I given a band for the comment I made about this government and the way they do things? Is that some bokoharam apologist have infiltrated this forum? Is'nt it obvious that this move by SEC. Is the crafty move to they want to take to bend their way again into what they had band? |
Bro. I am beginning to suspect this forum o. I think a particular tribe up north has invaded this forum. I posted a comment about this government and how dumb they are at banning a popular crypto trading platform in Nigeria. Do you know I was banned for some hours and my comment deleted from that thread ? After that I saw many name calling of this evil government that were worse than mine on other threads. I was disappointed bro. Something is happening on nairaland now that I am sure even the real owner does'nt know about. |
Penguin2:As many that will see this post, please take note : this maybe another post by paid politicians to force the masses to vote for the very people they project. They make it in such a way the people will have no option. And this is one of the ways. Is it a must you vote for APC or PDP ? In my opinion, I wish there will be no election, let the country country split. Nevertheless, if it is God's will for Nigeria to remain one then let there be total restructuring of true federalism, where state has control of their affairs. Folks, let us not be deceived into making another grievous mistake we have always done in this country, it high time we rose from our docile nature as a people and do what is right for once. #call for refrandom #abolish the current constitution #total restructuring into true federalism With all the revelations from gov. Orthom, the ex. Naval officer, mailaifa, and a host of others. Plus, when the true sponsors of bokoharam, banditory, fulanisation, militancy are revealed, you would totally agree that Nigeria should split and call for urgent refrandom Enough of unredeemably corrupt politicians deceiving us. |
joyandfaith:You are right bro., I just wonder where these guys are. I just hope as I type this one of them is reading, i keep wondering, I hope one day they will come out again some how to influence good governance and be rewarded for their efforts of year gone by. |
I do not know why many of the student activist in O.A.U those days could'nt penetrate the Nigerian politics. Meeeehn! Those guys were brave intelligent, articulate, bold, with relative high moral intelligenc. the students activist of 80s and 90s in O.A.U are worth writing a book on. Those guys (e.g 3 As and his group) would have positively impacted lives of ordinary Nigerians, how be it, Nigerians hate uprightly resolute men. |
CharisEleos:friend, Check your email. |
CharisEleos: |
That is the importance of the good standing up to challenge injustice. The guy risk even been flogged or being shouted down but he stood up for something. We as Nigerians especially the good ones with conscience need to start behaving like this or else remain enslave by corrupt political elite that are in power. Start from your own family and circle of friends and stand up for the truth. Say "kojo" the injustice and corrupt leaders and bad governance. |
QueenVaji:Friend, everything you said is the truth, I am very much angry as you are about this country we find ourselves, and many are angry too. Nevertheless, there are two things I will never blame God about, number one, is that I did not make the choice to be born into Nigeria, and number two, I did not make the choice of the parents by which I am born. There are still very good and pure minded Nigerians, atleast more than 1% in Nigeria. Many of them are hiding some are travelling enmass out of the country. The few of us who may not have the source and connection to travel will strive to be very much different from the bunch of corrupt many in the society. That is what we strive for, it is not easy but we are pushing ahead. Stay good bro. I totally understand you. Stay good. |
Know this, anybody the northern elite picked, that person must be a traitor to his own people and an already made tool in the hands of the fulani and Islamic jihadist to fulfil their evil plan |
Fweshest3:Thank you for speaking a part of the mind of many of the Niger Delta people. I am not saying we will be part of Biafra, me think Nigeria will split into several regions. Folks, let me tell us something, you see these so called elders (both our kings, community leaders) of the Niger Delta region, they are so so corrupt, deceitfully compromised, polically dumb that they hardly see the good in the general development of their people. They are very nepotic, greedy and extremely selfish. These kind of people cannot speak for the whole of their region and be taken seriously. The youth of the Niger Delta are very much aware now, the too much respect we accorded you people in position of power because of the thought that you guys are suppose to be wise and foresighted (which you are not and cannot) has expired. No more respect for you guys. Pa Edwin, you only spoke your mind, you have a right to your opinion and so does the people of your region. You heard what the overall Oba of the youroba nation said recently to all leaders in Nigeria, "the youths are getting more and more bolder and they becoming bold now to face us because we have failed them, we've have never carry them along, we must tell our selves the truth". Very soon, just very soon, maybe the next protest that will break the Camel's back. We'll know the part the Niger Delta belong. Weather they will join Biafra, or be Niger Delta Republic, we will know. I will even suggest, if it were possible, the whole south and middle belt should come together to form a better nation with them having different regions and states that generate revenue and remit some per cent age to the center. so that the people at the top will be top notch managers, vision driven and innovators. That's my take. |
Ayomide11111:OP, if what you typed there is very true. Please you have to find a way to move on. It happened to me as well. I hardly like a girl. But when I finally fell deeply in love with one, said she did not love me as much as I loved her. I do not do boy friend and girl friend I sincerely wanted to marry her the right way. It was and is still extremely painful. But life must go on, I believe you are not alone in such situation. You can't really force her to love you, but maybe, just maybe, one day she will find out what she missed. Here is a link, go read read it, it helped me. It can help you as well Can you ever stop loving someone? https://herway.net/love/can-you-ever-stop-loving-someone/ |
Elvisgolden:That is the problem with you people in this country. If your father is a criminal you would'nt want to expose him as a criminal. If your brother or relation is contesting to a position in the country and you know this person is corrupt and has nothing to offer but to steal and give to you people you can never vote against your brother or relation. He called them bunch of criminals, because that is what majority of them are. Is obasanjor a saint? Are all the governor's and traditional rulers saints ? Until Nigerians begin to go against corrupt people no matter who they are to us, and be bold enough to tell them to their face, shout them down, vote againt them. This country (or the constituent it may split into) cannot become a better place for her people to call a nation. Go and read about the French revolution. |
