Thesame people whom these corrupt politicians patronise during elections, thesame people who have made this country backward by the kind of people they accept into power, thesame people who usually take bribe to anoint corrupt politicians that have made this country backward, thesame people the poor masses have lost all their trust in, they entered into one meeting and decided that the country should be one. You guys are jokers. What is dividing the country is beyond what you people decided from that meeting. Thesame people that has lied to us for this many years to trust these evil leaders. You cannot deceive us any more, you people never keeps to promise, you know how to hold many meetings without true, sincere and aggressive implementation. You cannot deceive all the people all the time, where is the national confab report that came out from the meeting you held during president Goodluck regime ?, where is the Uwias report ?, I can keep mentioning more. All these meetings you entered that does not generate anything good. Your decision that Nigeria should remain one will never hold water. Do you hear me? It will never hold water. Because what is dividing Nigeria is the massive corruption and nepotism in leadership, very very bad economic policies, massive corrupt constitution (that ought to have been scrapped), disastrous economy that destroys her citizens and kill the good dreams of her youth and generation unborn. Those and many more are the problems, and if they are not drastically solved in a wholesome and equitable manner, the country is going to split sooner than we expect. In the bible, when Israel had a bad and corrupt leader the country splits into North and southern Israel - ".......to your tents O Israel....." And I say, to the component that made up Nigeria, to your tents O Nigeria. |
I laugh at the way you guys attacked the guy about his father, many of una never jam bad papa or mama. Agreed, he should'nt have call his father derogatory names especially on social media like this. People, I have experience a bad father - a father who had to walk up to my mother (his wife) and told her to bet him that I his son cannot graduate from university ( but i did by serious struggle) because my mother took it upon herself to sponsor my school even when she did not have enough as she saw how decent and intelligent i was . People, there are bad fathers and bad mothers, if you have not experience one you will never understand the angle the young man is talking from. the guy is already getting frusted just few months after graduation and no job, papa wey suppose confort am sef dey frustrate am the more. It would have been better just advise him to be bit decent with words in public about his father than bashing him here and there. But OP, I hope you don't have attitude too that upset your father that is making him act the way he does to you? My advice is phone/laptop repair, barbing That is my opinion though. |
See as they are rushing to control one's privacy so that they can control the media and deny the masses access to information. If they had channelled thesame energy into making the power stable and greatly improve the economy it would have been better. They want briddle critics to fulfil their evil agenda. "To your tents O israel" |

merits:I have never insulted anybody online. But you know what? I do not see this As an insult, but a critical observation of Nigeria populance, As many of you that are popularizing this stupidity that is trending are a big problem to this country and the society at large. Those that enjoy and like such comments are thesame. No matter your age, no be everything dem take dey do joke, no be everything wen dey trend na im sense dey. As a human being, one is suppose to have his or her own principles not to join people to be foolish and popularize stupidity and foolishness in its height. I know many of such people will now quote me to,say "Abel nah joke, no kill yourself for Nigeria matter". How does something that does not concern Elliot, and the next thing a "suppose" human being will comment is na Desmond Elliot cause am - a very very very and extremely dumb trending comment. Make una get sense small for this country. |
What next after edict that created Nigeria expires in 2014? By Konye Obaji Ori Posted on Monday, 16 December 2013 10:47 On December 31st, 2014, the document that amalgamated Nigeria into one country would expire. The British colonial edict of 1914 could be renewed or denounced, and the Nigerian state could stay united or split into several entities. We ought to agree either to extend it [amalgamation edict] or not Starting from January 1, 2014, Nigerians and power brokers of the fourth republic must decide whether or not the country should remain a united entity. The Movement for a New Nigeria (MNN), a secessionist organisation has emerged to capitalise on the uncertainty surrounding the colonial order, and the array of ethnic and tribal centred problems. “We ought to agree either to extend it [amalgamation edict] or not,” MNN secretary general Tony Nnadi told reporters on 10 December. For many, the clogs in the wheels of Nigerian unity began even before the Union Jack was lowered for the green and white flag. As established by scholars, public figures, and political commentators, the 1914 amalgamation edict authored by Britain’s Lord Frederick Lugard was illegitimate because it was done without a referendum. It has also been criticised for ignoring the complexities of the ethnic and cultural divisions of the Niger-area. Hundred years after Nigeria’s amalgamation, the north has remained the North, and so has the East and the West. Africa Insight Wake up to the essential with the Editor's picks. As the 1914 British order expires, Nigerians must be prepared to address the state of the nation and its continuity through a national conference or the National Assembly. Nigerians must be willing to talk about its existence as a unified entity. In the words of Nigerian scholar Femi Ajayi, “refusing to talk is like wanting to avoid variance in our daily life”. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo tried to get Nigerian power brokers to talk about the country’s unity, but the 2005 National Political Reforms Conference, fell through. Likewise, President Goodluck Jonathan proposed his national conference to discuss Nigerian unity and continuity. The expiry of the amalgamation pits Jonathan’s proposed national conference against growing disillusionment, religious and ethnic divisions, political posturing, and terrorism in Nigeria. The implications of the 1914 edict under the current state of affairs in Nigeria are complex: Legally, Nigeria would seize to exist after 2014; the country would return to the pre-1914 structure that is the Lagos colony, the northern and southern protectorates; and the Nigerian people must re-enter a new agreement under their own terms. Contingency plans have been reported to be underway by foreign powers who are convinced that Nigeria would split by 2015. Nevertheless, in a pivotal phase of the fourth republic, Nigeria must decide whether or not it wishes to challenge the legality of the 1914 amalgamation edict or continue or abandon the dictates of the order. Apparently, if there is a consensus, Nigeria’s continued existence can be negotiated and a new union treaty created. MythAngel:Thank you. I like the way you reason sometimes. Although your previous comments sometimes is out of place, sort of. I like to discuss briefly with you. I sent you a PM. could you accept it? |
Rugaria:Who is this guy? I love your comment. You made so much sense up there. It's just that ...I do not know whether you are for real, as in whether you be better person, I would have love to engage you in a mature discussion by some means. Don't be angry, some people can sound so true and at thesame time are the ones contributing to the problem of nigeria. Anyway, kudos. The primary goal of a country is the raise the standard of living of its citizens. You really said a lot of deep things up there. |

aladeokin1000:Does the P.S.4 goes off too when you use it on your commercial power line ? If No, then it may be your generator set. Maybe it is not giving out enough power that can carry all the load you gave it. But if yes, the issue maybe the console. And in that case, you take it to a video game technician. shallom |
optimusprime2:Thank you for your input. I really appreciate. |

Good day friends, I need advice I am planing to migrate to Canada. Since I needed a guide, I met someone ( an agent) who was recommended to me by a good friend of mine. My firiend is processing his visit to the UK with this agent too. When I met him for the easiest and quickest way for me, he advise me to go through work - since I am a graduate and a sound tradesman in industrial electrical work. He said the work package is geniune, that it was the Canadian government who made it available for people with good skills to move to Canada. I do not know how true this is. And I would like to verify his words here so that I do not end up being deceived or cajoled into spending so much and at the end there was nothing like that. |

I think If we can have a good speed train network that can travel from down southern Nigeria to the North and return that same day, it would be a great boost to these farmers and the country at large. unfortunately, Terrorism would still be an issue until will fix bad governance. |

You may also need an employer in Canada to give you experience and training. To learn more about getting assessed, you should go to the website of the body that governs trades for the province/territory where you would like to live and work. Loverquin:I am planning to move to Canada. Can anyone refer me to a sincere person on NL whom I can make a comprehensive enquiry from ? |
I do not have an IG account, this comment would be better siuted there, back to the issue. The major problem with Nigeria that actually breeds the ones mentioned by the OP is : We appreciate bad, corrupt attitudes and people more than good ones. That is why they keep producing corrupt people to lead and under develop their land - check their leaders from their history as a people. They prefer to Support their own person that is bad and corrupt than to support someone else that is upright. How many of you reading this can stand to support your own brother that has integrity (although not rich) instead that corrupt but rich one ? Nigerians cannot stand up against evil and corruption because most of them are into it too. The few that .can do so are shouted down by thesame People clamouring for good leaders and development. Instead of us to stand and fight against these corrupt people headlong (paying the utmost sacrifice) by telling our self the truth, support people with integrity, good values, and competence, not at all, we run to other civilized nations (where they have paid the utmost price for standing against corruptions). We act like cowards, and now many nations are chasing out Nigerians (craftily telling them to go repair their own country). Even many of the people running out do so by many/any dubious means. Condemn internet fraud and many are ready to tear you to streads. This preference for corrupt attitudes is one major reason why Nigeria is backward inspite of her huge resources. We cannot fight the corrupt father, leaders, chief, pastors, traditional ruler either because of ethnic, blood, religious affiliations or because our hands already are soiled too, so if you make Pim ! They will bring out your dirty linen. Until we begin to pay the utmost price of standinding up to what is right and good starting from our very homes and community to the top We cannot develop as Nigeria, we may need to split the country for this to occur. |
syluck:I developed interest in programming at a time but later lost interest because to be a successful programmer you need a good mentor. If I can have one here that can guide me I am willing to learn and become a programmer. Can you help? |
Jodha:Well, I doubt if you are a female. But if you are, then you lied, because you did not add money -- which most Females are easily attracted to. And most of you gals looking for God fearing men are liers because you forgot the sacrifices that comes with the genuine fear of GOD in this present generation. You will never want to identify with a man who earns moderately because of his fear of GOD. Rather you go for the dubious ones who sweet mouth you girls with their wealth. There is nothing wrong to have a high taste but when that taste becomes a little bit too high and that if the man with that your taste does'nt show up you will not marry, that is the problem with you people. Yes there are God fearing men that are rich - but take note, they are not many out there, even when you see one he is what every female want and the competition is extremely high to have him as your husband. Na wen una know say time don dey go una go wan settle for anyone wey come. Most of you girls are most attractive in your early twenties that is why you girls see many suitors at this time - and this is the time (20 ties ) you should settle with your own man either as spouse or as beasties without sex that can grow to marriage. Now back to the question. I easily get attracted to a lady that dresses modestly - like those deeper life people or bankers, and hard-working, Lady that is well mannerd, moderately beautiful. |
I do not mean to be pessimistic. But with recent happening in Nigeria, especially the arrest of those who support the #endsars protest. This lady knows something huge that may erupt into a full scale civil war in Nigeria is about to occur. The presidency is already getting on the nerves of its citizens. The U. N have sent Amina to warn them politicians -I am sure her recent visit to Buhari is a warning. Something is coming. Will the politicians hear and turn from from their evil ways ? Will they stop #badgovernance ? |
Please send to my whatsapp no. 08164708991 |
The protest that would break the camel's (Nigeria) back, the mother of all protest is loading and it is little things like this that would spark it. And it demands would be endless. But top of it's demands would be #endbadgovernment, #endbogoussalaryofpoliticians, #endinadequatepowersupply, #endmedicalforiegntrip e..t.c they will not be willing and able to effect those demands immediately because it will affect them "badly". They will craftly ask the masses for time to fix the country. howbeit, it would be another lie to keep the masses quiet and impoverish them. And as a result, the hidden secret in Aso rock would be made open thereby triggering the canister for total break up or refradum. I am not prophesying. It is just an observation which we all know is written already on the wall. We are just waiting for what will trigger it. Such actions like the one OP posted w could suffice. |
Homextras:Niger Delta youth, please do not go and destroy your oil installations in the name of protest. A better option is, . You can go there to shut down all operations, close every valve that pump grude oil, close every well and tell all staff to evacuate site with immediate effect. mount guards around those places to prevent vandalistion. The region may need those installations when the country splits. Our mumu don do. |
