This is 100% correct!

Sisib15:
I know you have done a little bit of research on this so i willanswer your questions. They don'task for bank statements at the embassy. Nobody is going to ask you for financial documents or anything. The only information the VO needs is what you have on your I20 and what you fill in your DS-160. Hence, your visa approval is based on how you can convince the VO through your words ,composure and confidence. If you have deficits ,the Vo is going to ask you how you will pay ,so it all depends on how you can prove to the vo that you are capable of funding your tuition. Also, whatever you want to fill in your DS-160, make sure it's your truth,so that when the VO ask you,you will be able to answer confidently.
I hope this answer your questions and if you need more clarity quote me.

seunmsg:

You’re the one doing mental gymnastics and not me. What is playing out is what I have explained. Ask yourself for a minute, why is PDP not disputing the collated results from states since they have copies of all the results from the polling units to the state collation points? They did not ask for server upload at the ward collation centre before endorsing the results, they did not ask for server upload at the LGA collation center before endorsing the results and they did not ask for server upload before endorsing the results at the state collation centers. So, why are they trying to disrupt the national collation over something that would have been more useful at the ward collation centers?

I'm not sure you understand the meaning of mental gymnastics. The whole purpose of electronic transmission was because of cries of tampering in previous elections. Those previous elections had party agents involved and it was still felt it would be better if results were transmitted to a server. Now, this wasn't done in a timely manner. Does that not defeat the purpose? I'm talking about mental gymnastics because some of us are trying to use technicalities to explain why it doesn't matter that they weren't uploaded immediately. It matters. It matters a lot. As a matter of fact, those results should have been uploaded in the presence of all party agents and maybe the whole process even recorded on camera because we know the level of rot in this country.

Stop defending the indefensible.

As at this morning, over 80k polling units have been uploaded. Before the end of the day, it should be over 100k. The process is slow because INEC is doing everything to ensure those attempting to upload fake result don’t succeed. INEC server has been attacked by those making noise about the upload over 70 times since Saturday. They brought hackers from China but INEC is outsmarting them.

So you are saying INEC proposed an online system but didn't think far enough about hardening the system to cyber attacks even with the massive budget they were given? Way to say they were unprepared. The fact remains delaying the upload of most of those sheets taints the election and videos going around of intimidations and outright falsification casts a very big doubt on the authenticity of the numbers being called.

Well all know the truth in this country. Let's not start doing mental gymnastics to explain why black is suddenly white.

you are the one that inserted the word UPLOADED. It is not in the act. Transmitted is what is in the act. From the polling unit just means it must be from the polling unit rather than the ward.

How the hell are you justifying this incompetence that seemed premeditated to affect the results in any way they seem fit?

Politics / Re: Questions Igbos And Other Nigerians Need To Answer About IPOB by gheekhone: 12:56pm On Oct 21, 2021
When they start closing their businesses in states outside of the south east because of sit at home, then we'll know they are serious. Obeying it in the south east only, can be attributed to fear of retribution as it is now.

Biafrarep:
I have seen other Nigerians saying all manner of things about why should Igbos be supporting IPOB.

I have also seen some myopic Igbos having same opinion.

Maybe it could be due to selective amnesia, ignorance or just lack of in-depth reasoning.

Please provide honest answers to the following questions:

1. IPOB and other Igbo separatist groups did not just emerge and became popular, rather they emerged out of necessity. Now the factors that it expedient for IPOB to emerge has even become more critical than ever before. So how do you guys think that IPOB will ever lose popularity among Igbos even in the foreseeable future?

Igbos don't joke with their business and can't imagine closing their businesses for a day, but now they have been closing it every time without minding the economic losses, simply because they're looking at the bigger picture!

2. So are you guys asking Igbos to abandon IPOB and return to a Nigeria where they would still remain a second class citizen?

3. With all the fulani herdsmen killings going on, should we remain docile like the people of middle belt and watch our people being killed daily in the farms and rural communities?

4. Okay, if we all decide to forget about Biafra, and support "one Nigeria" what is the solution to jihardists, terrorists and bandits that are currently decimating North and gradually moving down South?

5. Many of you even vow that Igbos will never rule Nigeria but still want them to continue sharing a country with you, does that even make sense?

6. If you are to be in the Igbo man shoe, what exactly will you do differently?

Let me give you my experience. Got a job for a telecommunications provider Stateside. Never had industry experience in the entire software stack used. From OS to actual telephony software, my entire experience was from running them at my home lab and watching YouTube videos which I replicated on my lab. First week (of a planned 4 week) training, I had a test to guage my knowledge. I "vomited" everything I had learned from my YouTube channel. Trainer couldn't believe his eyes. Apart from some school boy errors, every other thing I did was on point for entry-level knowledge. trainer was someone that had been in the industry for 20years and had to ask me if I was really entry-level or if I accepted entry-level just to get a job. Two weeks later, a colleague from Argentina who had more experience than I did, stumbled severally. I "assisted" him in designing what is known as a dialplan in the industry and the trainer was not pleased with my assistance. Man had to do the test again one week later with a subtle stern warning to me NOT to intervene.

Good on you for finding a suited to you on udemy especially for a complete stack. Coursera is kinda pricey for the average Nigerian but thank God for their financial aid package. That helps a lot.

DDayve:

Yeah, from my experience so far, I don't Udemy is good for a beginner. U seem to learn pertinent skills bit by bit and separately. You hardly find a beginner to advance course that you can do to find your first job. The disadvantage of learning with Udemy is that after learning all the bits, u may not be able to synchronize everything thereby leaving your relevance in the job market at a low bar. That is what affected me when I learnt data science with python.
For the web development, I would count myself lucky to find Andrei Neagoie. With two of his courses, you can be job ready as a mern stack developer. Although if it had occurred to me, I would have chose Coursera over Udemy. The advantage with Udemy is that it is cheaper when u buy at the right time

I am still learning. I presently work as an engineer in a manufacturing firm. I earn what some persons will call a good salary in a location like Ibadan. So I may say I am not usually broke. What motivates me in programming is that it is difficult to learn. Not every dick and Harry can pick it up and be able to cope consistently. Secondly, I forsee that I can earn far better than I currently earn as a mechanical engineer. I also forsee that my services would be needed not only locally but also internationally. It is usually tough though, combining my work and learning programming, jack as if I am an undergraduate again, burning mid night candles. The motivation again is that the hustle will pay las las.
I have bought more than 7 materials from Udemy. I started first during COVID with python. Learnt machine learning and AI, postgre SQL and tableau but I didn't see the synchronization between everything I learnt plus I expended large amount of data building models. I had to have a rethink around November last year, so I switched to web development. I learnt html, CSS and JavaScript. Now I am mastering the MERN stack. I have some of my portfolios on github but I don't think I am job ready yet. I really need to master the job well cos I need a job that will pay me more than I currently earn before I can leave my present job. I presently earn btw 150-200k

You do realise calling someone a Christian implies the standard with which such should be judged is Jesus Christ and not David, Moses or any other prophet(ess), right?

So, if Jesus says don't retaliate or fight and someone goes to war in the name of Christianity, I'm sure the contradiction is clear and we can safely say the person is not a Christian.

Politics / Re: Bandits Should Be Given One-third Of $1 Billion And Killings Will Stop - Gumi by gheekhone: 5:48pm On Oct 01, 2021
Hmm...this statement attributed to this self proclaimed bandits negotiator got me so riled up that I wanted to insult him but your comment stopped me from that. If your question is genuine, I'll try to answer it based on my perception.

I think the reason why the SW and SS comment on anything having to do with SE and “blow it out of proportion” is because they have some measure of emotional attachment to the SE. In a way, they see themselves as brothers. I know, I know, so much as happened. But, it's a bit like a sibling berating another sibling. There's a measure of fear that what the other sibling is doing will affect all of them negatively and concern sets in when commenting about issues. As for them not doing same to the North, they don't care, or their level of concern is very low. It's almost like, as long as they don't do it close to us, they can do whatever they like. This is just my 2 cents.

Redcrafton:
Assume a cleric in SE ask the FG to give ESN $1billion to end the current crisis...lol

The folks from SW, Edo and the north would have eaten all Igbos raw.

This is my problem with Nigeria...

Why is anything in the SE blown above proportion?

For example if there was a 100,000 death in the north ...nothing will happen and the Nairaland page will be like half a page...but if 1 death happens in the SE, the page would not be less than 5.

Why.

You will see folks like NGpatriot, Udele1, Tinubadvocate, Helineus writhing in pain, and gnashing their teeth...

Why.

It won't be bad if govt. decides to build with taxpayers money but have a plan for getting it back and even turning profits through fees charged to users of said ranches. On the God part, read John 5:18. Sometimes, He didn't want to just reveal His full identity which is what played out in Mark 10:18.

Please read the whole of Job 7 that you quoted.

I know we are religious in this country but it shouldn't get to the level of the state arresting someone for blasphemy. You'd just end up creating more unbelievers. If you preach tolerance, then you should also show it. Otherwise, it just reeks of hypocrisy.

dmbb:

"As to who God was speaking to, we normally say He was speaking to Himself and by that we mean God the Father was speaking to The Son and the Holy Spirit"
Look at below
Mark 10:18:
And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
This is a clear proof from Jesus that he and god are two different things and cannot be one.
On the death, there is not doubt that if you are have died you are gone forever
“…he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no more. ” — Job 7:9

What I am saying is that as you practice your religion don't ever look down on the teachings of someone's religion that didn't tally with yours that is tolerance.
We don't like to be talking about religion especially Christianity as a Muslim because we know its sensitive nature in our country
Politics / Re: Police Arrest Sheik Abduljabbar For Blasphemy by gheekhone: 2:00pm On Jul 19, 2021
I'm afraid your take on the death thing is a bit simplistic. He died and rose which is unheard of for a man. Like He said, I lay it (His life) down by myself and I take it up again. Please if you can, check John 10:17-18.

As to who God was speaking to, we normally say He was speaking to Himself and by that we mean God the Father was speaking to The Son and the Holy Spirit.

Even iPhone outsourced its production to China @ some point. Advanced economies outsource mostly because of labour costs.

If you recall how I began, I said in the wake of Brexit. There were already some products from British companies being sold here and now, they'll need to expand their reach to economies outside of the EU because they are no longer part of the EU. And Nigeria is a potential target.

Also, market driven businesses make products their target consumers can afford. Reckitt, PZ and Unilever are all British businesses. That they are here doesn't invalidate that fact.

onuman:

How many Made in GB products do you find in Nigeria’s market? How many of Nigeria’s consumers can afford products made in Britain? By the way, Britain no longer emphasize on manufacturing, it is on distribution businesses mainly.
I have to go to China to buy goods distributed in GB but made in China.

There was no implication of crude oil in my post. The world is trying to reduce its reliance on hydrocarbons.

You can checkup on the MINT countries, if you have the time.

onuman:

I understand what some of you here are saying: you imply that because of profits from crude oil and gas deposits in the Niger Delta, Great Britain shall give up British citizen, Nnamdi Kalu for Nigeria that abducted Kalu to do whatever it pleases with Kalu.

Don’t forget that this crude oil and gas deposits are in Kalu’s native home territory in the east and in the rest of neighboring southsouth area of Nigeria.
At certain point, it shall become which group - Arewa north or the east and Southsouth - is able to negotiate better with GB to trade off these crude oil and gas deposits, to get whatever any of the two groups want.

Arewa north of Nigeria has only Islamic extremism for export.
