The Nigeria Police Force in Cross River State, has confirmed the arrest of 80 hoodlums including the mastermind of Calabar International Conference Centre, CICC looting.
According to the Commissioner of Police, CP Abdulkadir Jimoh, over 1000 items, including customised chairs, chillers, customised designer carpets have been recovered from the search and retrieve hunting so far.
Jimoh who disclosed this on Monday, October 26, 2020 in Calabar, said the Command arrested one Johnson Richard Inem, the mastermind behind looting and vandalization of the CICC at the weekend.
He said Inem, who is a mechanic was arrested at Esuk Otu behind Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, Calabar, with various items.

“We arrested the suspect based on actionable intelligence during the house to house search which started on Sunday in the state.
“We have arrested over 80 suspects and they are under going interrogation in various security facilities. Looters have 24 hours to return all looted items before the house to house search gets to them as recovery of looted items is on going.
“We have put plain cloth personnel in place to cultivate intelligence to ensure that all perpetrators, receivers are arrested and brought to book. Anyone still with looted items in their possession is warned to return them within the next 24 hours”, the Police Commissioner said.

He added that, “So far, we recovered over 1000 customised chairs, chillers, rug carpets, Air Conditioners (ACs) and many other items that were yet to be labelled from the CICC suspect.
“We are not resting on our oars, we also want to urge traditional rulers and religious leaders to make announcement in their various domains by urging those who took government property to return them immediately”.

#ENDSARS protest became nonsense when it started advocating for LGBT, an idea that is outlawed in Nigeria. Some leading figures pulled out when they realise that it had become something else.

Government did not see the reasons why the protesters should remain on the road after meeting their demands, they became nuisance and security risks to the neighbourhood they were occupying.



Sanwo-olu met protesters, collected their 5 for 5 agenda, headed to Abuja and delivered to president.

The president talked about it and immediately scrap SARS then promised to take further steps. Suddenly, the miscreants changed the music and started demanding for LGBT, end Buhari, end Nigeria. I think a reasonable government should kick their ass.

I want to use this medium to appeal to the Federal Government and the Nigerian security agencies to please as a matter of urgency start the arrest and prosecution of all EndSars protesters as they are being used by criminals and cultists to cause civil riots in the country that will in turn lead to the total disintegration of this great country, that is why I am using this medium to appeal to the Nigerian Police and Army to begin massive mobilization of their units to go out into the society and clamp down on these guys as they are being sponsored by Jihadists, Burna Boy and Davido for example are members of cult groups and they are using this protest as a guise to sabotage the country and spoil the mind of the youth towards law enforcement and this is a terrorist plot.
