Do u have the technology to refine and process lithium, do u know there other raw materials needed for processing of lithium and manufacturing of the battery....do u have access to them? Can u set up the plant and still be profitable?
We live in globalized world now where there is division of labor... sometimes it is more profitable to extract raw materials and send it abroad for processing because it would not make economic sense to manufacture in your house ...

China dominates lithium production, depending on how much quantity of lithium has, most times it will make economic sense for it be processed in China....

The same way our cocoa gets exported n in return we buy chocolates expensively....
So it's also not feasible to have other manufacturing plants here aside nestle n Cadbury yet we eat imported chocolates....
