Fayose the propaganda master. That was the same way he said he'll start arresting those without toilets in their house(s), till date nothing has been done to effect than. He also placed a ban on cattle herding, but since then I have on two different occasions come across herdsmen and their cattle on roads in the state - on the first occasion, one of the herdsmen had a dane gun on him. Now it's tree planting. I pray and hope he pursues this vigorously. |

step1: A similar situation happened to me an a colleague of mine in Ugborikoko police station Warri. They accused us of stealing a car because of different plate number from the original owner. We ended up paying 50 thousand Naira. This is after they put a call to the first owner etc. They used gun and jail to threaten us.
Nigeria police are the worst.
Please someone should help me, how can one report this case of threat and stealing from police Search for the number of the state's commissioner of police online and report the matter to him directly. From there, you'd be asked to come to the state's police command hq to table an official complaint and a policeman will be attached to the case to investigate it. That's what I did in my own case. |

bigtt76: Thats just it! He's not positioning himself for the forth coming elections. Very possible they might also field a lady for that too to match the possible outcome of the US elections in favor of Hilary Clinton ensuring that the three world powers have their destinies in the hands of ladies for the first time World would be peaceful And where is your prove that having a woman as leader leads to peace? Last I checked not only did Ms. Clinton support the war in Iraq (which is the genesis of the present carnage in the Middle East), she also played a major role in the toppling of the Gadaffi regime - another event that culminated in the present instability in Libya. Having said that, it'd be nice to have women occupying those positions. But don't get your hopes too high. |

Many people read it.
Just that I hate the book.
Was expecting it to be a trag-comedy like most African book but no it isnt.
Whenever I remember it, anger nd pain swell up in my heart but thank God its just a novel tho. The story was tragic but it was more real than most. It aptly describes what obtains in our society, even till date. 1 Like |

Elchappo: Redeem is a yoruba church. Was invited the other day to their branch at awoyaya axis, the choir started ruining the day with their yoruba songs nd to crown it all, the pastor is a typical ijebu man who has PHD in sound Mix, the guy just dey mix english nd yoruba nd am wondering if I was the only igbo dude in the congregation.
Tribalism is everywhere in Nigeria, believe me RCCG will stop to exist if God wants an igbo man to take over from Baba G.O. So for worshipping their god in the Yoruba language in a church in Yorubaland, the worshippers are tribalists, huh? Do you even have the tiniest idea of the concept of tribalism? Anyway, na naija cause am. When we come into our Republic, the Yoruba language will be made an official language. And then, irrelevant matters such as what you alleged will cease to exist. Salaam! |

Funny how some misinterprete the whole essence of Brexit. It's about Brits taking back control. It's about democracy and responsiveness. Many so-called 'experts' tend to miss this very point(s). It's not always about the economy. Sometimes, as humans, we have to sacrifice some things in order to get other things - in this case, the Brits decided to sacrifice projected growth in economy for democracy, for control.
The so-called experts keep missing the same point in the ascendancy of Donald Trump in the race to the White House. |

The reforms that is taking place in the Catholic Church under the leadership of Pope Francis is nothing short of impressive. The Church sure has a lot of apologising to do. If only the believers, many of whom are ignorant of their religion's past, can match or even surpass the Church's efforts at reconciliation, the world will be a much better place. |

rahymat: enough of these theories if God doesnt exist life would have gone astray their wont be churches nd mosques rather there would be clubs prayers too wont get answers without God ive seen women without wombs get pregnant after praying to God even there are lot of mysterious things happening on dis earth like a man who went to the space hearing the call for prayer.life without God is just like living with emptiness Hajiya Rahymat, so it is the presence of churches and mosques that justifies the existence of God, ko? Without the existence of these two social institutions, lives would've gone the Hobbessian way? Were the various African societies astray before they met the colonial religions of Christianity and Islam? As for getting pregnant without a womb ..., I take it you believe artificial insemination too proves the existence of God, shay? |
