My crazy experience today….

Got a request around tejuosho yaba to ebutte metta.

This woman entered “oga good evening” I replied madam good evening…

Me: am starting your trip
Rider: you can go on.
Rider: take ojuelegba….. by the way, are you a born again?
Me: no and I don’t do any religion.
Rider; please turn the music off…. (I know already say wahala don Dey like this)
Rider: you see there’s hell fire and in the book of blabla bla…. You have to accept Jesus as your ……

This woman kept talking…. I’m too tired to listening to anything even I was happy when she initially told me to off the radio…

After the long preaching one driver wanted to enter my lane madam shouted oga no give am space oh shocked I thought she’ll stop naso she continue oh…

I just kukuma shut her with “MADAM YOU SEE THIS SACRIFICE, MY FATHER SENT ME TO DO IT TODAY AGAINST TOMORROW…. MY FATHER IS OLUAWO OF EGBA LAND”

Rider: shocked lipsrsealed
Me: so please ma I’ll appreciate if you can preach to the next Uber driver .
Rider: ok sir please end my trip by costain bus stop…

I was very glad she dropped and slam my door also dropped rhapsody.

I don’t know why some Nigerians can’t respect people who doesn’t believe in whatever they believed in… we need love and we need to be preaching and practicing love not hell fire that you’ll later be maltreating your housemaid….

The truth is that no matter how beautiful and newer your car is, riders doesn’t really care. All they want is get them to their destination safely and your AC is intact.

I once drove a 2016 elegant Corola sport, I only got 1 offline for a month using the car. But I do get steady offline with my 04 Corolla.

Have come to realize this that if possible bolt/Uber can reduce the year of cars, I’ll go for Corola, Toyota Echo, bmw year 2000 at least for cheaper maintenance.

Naija road no Dey even encourage anybody to get better cars.

Attached below are the best fuel economy vehicle of the year 2000-02

Good morning guys. If a rider gets to his/her destination and wants to go somewhere else, would it count?
If it’s bolt without surge just end the trip and tell the person to request you. It’ll count but won’t be much.

But if it’s über tell the rider to update the location.

Bolt lures you to slave at their feet. Accepting all trips and meeting crazy conditions.
Bolt's surge is nothing compared to uber's surge. Even riders know this.

The reason why ETA for uber is longer is because most fraudulent drivers have been yanked off.
The few honest drivers can't meet up with riders demand.

Look at this latest quest by Uber.
Shebi, uber drivers are not making money undecided

There's a big difference between Coca-Cola(uber) and big cola (bolt).

I will chose Uber's campaign bonus anyday.
Bullcrap grin

Me and you know all your comments are total bullshit… maybe Uber before though not Uber of now grin

Comparing Uber and bolt is like someone that’s dead (Uber) and person wey dem just born (bolt)…

Uber staff I carried recently claimed they’re messed up big time cos they wouldn’t listen to them/you drivers claims, queries and questions…. undecided

Well, have dropped my comments and arguments busy making money grin

My experience with a rider today….

Rider:- sir what’s the problem with Uber? I’ll book Uber and am gonna be seeing 20mins away in this Gbagada meanwhile bolt is just 2-3minutes away with surges…

Me: madam! Uber is not ready for business yet…

Rider: why?

Me: I’ll show you illustrations to compare the two apps….

Today which is Sunday, bolt gave me 0% commission after 8trips and 7hrs online…. Uber gave me 20 trips for 3,400 grin

Abeg bro, before you condemn me, I'm just a person who make a whole out of opportunity..
It doesn't come everytime but when it does, I utilize it to my favor...

I've admitted it was wrong but since both passenger felt safe in my hand and with each other then I see no big deal in it, I only gambled it and I won, If they don't feel comfortable with it, I wouldn't force them, I would honor 1 and leave the other...

Have you heard quotes like customers are always right ?
Drivers are quick to forget the trainings and that they are professionals or should be professional.

Have you ever seen a bank customer care abuse a customer Cus customer abused them? Call service center abuse the support team, will they respond ?
No matter what the customer says to you, you don’t respond, you should report the fellow.

Well you guys can keep giving it out to riders, it helps us the cool and calm ones to get tipped and treated very special.

I still had one special treat today cos guy said he has never seen a cool bolt driver like me.
Abuse or words don’t pain me, just pay me biko
Any person in my own case, will do worse. I told the guy I was not going I mean customers are always right terms is only applicable in papers.

Fear no go gree me leave this place till after 4am despite the fact that I have AIG number.

To chup money is easier than to make it.
I must start moving Lagos by 4am, how can ants be moving Lagos during curfew.
Bros don’t believe whatever those guys tell you…

One egbon for area back then used to be veteran in bolt and always do saka coupled with owning bolt Uber don blocked him.

Na so egbon told me one time that see I hate card trip oh I go tell rider say make we run am offline or I no go. Haha how? Baba was the only person I ever meet to be owning bolt 18k+ but he later told me bolt blocked him cos he was requesting offlines.

Saw him last night around farmcity Baba said guy long time na InDriver all of us Dey do here till tommorow morning. I laugh and said to him chief congratulations oh.

So point is that Ant or no ant those guys are crazy and heavily risking their lives turn on your inDriver app by 1am request them with 800naira they go still go carry you. Imagine police should arrest person for 800naira trip is it not madness?

To the guy that his rating is 4.5 kindly find your family member to re….t y.. and rate y.. 5stars continue your work but abeg not everybody you go com down help carry load. Majority of new riders don’t know how to rate especially the older ones. They will start counting the ratings from 1-5 and before them get to 3 the app will closed automatically.

With all you have stated so far on this thread, what percentage of riders do you think does this?
I think 0.001% does that.

And as previously stated there are good and bad riders, how do you expect the driver to know who the rider is without you displaying good behaviour?

And as for the smelling vehicles, what is the major culprit? Flood!
Most riders do not care if you turn your vehicle to the canoe as long as they get to their destination.
Sir I disagree with you on this…

One of the major car odor is Driver sleeping in the car turning the car to a room self contained.

I picked a rider around Abraham Adesanya to VI last week the man conversations sounds like this…

Man; good morning sir
Me: morning sir
Man: please sir am so sorry to ask this questions which I don’t normally do.::: hope you’re not among those drivers that sleep in the car?
Me: never hope no problem sir?
Man: no problem sir you can come now am opposite a supermarket.
Me: on 1.9 surge make I sharply carry him.

I picked the man and he was bitterly complaining that 2 bolt driver that came, their cars stinks like mortuary although he asked them and they confirmed they slept in the car which prompted him to leave and cancel the ride cos he was on white and going for a meeting.

How can a rider that’ll pay 7,300 for a single trip worth 2,200 will not enjoy their trip with quality car is wrong now.

I understand some of them might be living far but at least that car is their office how much is car wash and car perfume. Even dashboard cleaner is just 500-700naira.

Flood is not riders fault if you detect a flood area and you know your car can’t swim. Nobody force anybody that’s why there’s an option for cancellation.

But you see that above mentioning go to Osapa London this morning and find out

Hello everyone. I want to share my experience yesterday using Bolt. Yesterday, I had a job interview at Jibowu, Yaba. It was raining heavily and I needed to be there on time. I would have opted for jumping bus under the rain but I decided to use bolt for comfort and to avoid getting there all wet.

I ordered for bolt from Ayobo (Near Access Bank). It told me 2100-2700. Now it's been a while I used bolt so I was kinda confused which price it was so I configured my app so I can pay with my Bank.

They sent me a driver by the name OMIDURO SUNDAY. Immediately I entered his car, he did not even let me land, he started asking me "Are you paying with Cash"? I said no. He said Why? That he wants Cash. I said I didn't have. He started asking me "How much is the trip"? I told him the range I was given. He said No. That when we reach, it will be more than that. That the price will go up becos of rain which I did not believe and told him to move that it won't change. He kept being uneasy saying Uber is fixed by Bolt is not. He later opened his Uber app.

Next thing he said was let him end the trip and I give him cash and it will be 3000 which I declined. Remember, the rain was falling like mad. I was late for an interview due to rain. At this point, I couldn't understand his entire explanation.

When I questioned him again after seeing his disposition, he then opened up to me saying why he insists cash is becos HE HAS BEEN OWING BOLT SO HE DOES NOT WANT ANY MONEY TO ENTER TO THE BOLT ACCOUNT.

At this point, I now understood his agitation and told him I will give him cash (planned to give him the 3000 he asked for) and that he should end the trip immediately by parking now. He said he will, let him get to the next Bustop. That took like 5 mins.

Next he kept on agitating that I should give him the 3000 immediately. This time we were around Ipaja. That was where he parked.

To cut the long story short, I got to my destination late, gave him the 3000, later realised that Bolt debited me 400 again from my app.

This is becos the man decided to eat my time of 5mins to stop at the next Bustop which cost me extra 400 which I told him to stop immediately but he refused saying let him get to the next Bustop.

In all, he got 3400 in total. I'm sure he would be smiling seeing I didn't make noise about it smarter but I know what to do.

My Anger Is The Extra 400 He Made BOLT charge me and to make matters worse, I didn't still get the job. N3400 all wasted plus stress angry

He even stopped at Iyana Ipaja to buy food begging me he is hungry. Left me in the car. Took like 5 to 10 minutes buying food. Wasting my time. Was even eating and driving becos he knows nobody will see him becos his car glass is tinted.

I'm going to call Bolt today and tell them all these.

His name is OMIDURO SUNDAY ROTIMI and I also have his phone number which he gave me.

I will call Bolt today. Such driver is not a good person and shouldn't be working for them.

I'm using my experience to enlighten others on the evils these men do to we passengers.

Please know alot about Bolt, Uber before entering becos once these drivers know you are a newbie, most will want to cheat you.

Corruption is deeply rooted in them and they will reap what they sow.

Thank you.
Bros so sorry for your experience but not all drivers do that shit.

Last week Friday my wife closed from work and I was not around. Her phone was 5% and she needed to go home I booked bolt for her and saw elderly driver.

The man located her company and picked her up.

I called her and she confirmed…. Naso I continue with my business. Immediately Baba make uturn he said he forgot to start the trip that the trip will not be counted.

My wife call me that honey Baba said he forgot to start trip and the trip isn’t gonna be count hence he demanded for full payment.

I told my wife to put the phone on speaker. I said Baba if you dey hear me, am working for bolt and if you try nonsense your account is gone for good what nonsense are you saying that card trip will not count or whatever from island on surge oh to mainland which you’ can easily claim your money same day or next.

I saw popped up message immediately trip started ended the trip and it was 4800

My wife got home and was like Honey you don’t do this to people and it’s bad this great hustle some bad eggs just wanted them to be out.

We have many bad eggs among us all.

Sorry

I wanna share my horrible delivery experience….

It was around April on Friday night, I think it’s about 10pm I got a request around kusenla road the last estate on the left.

I needed a mainland trip but unfortunately for me I got Ikoyi trip. Called the guy and he told me he’s gonna call them at the gate which he did and gbam I drove to his apartment.

The guy came out and guess what brothers/sis… he fvcking came out with a sealed popcorn I mean a sealed popcorn not the regular red/yellow color oh just ordinary Osun state road side own.

Guy: hi sir you’re delivering this popcorn to my girlfriend in banana island.

Me: excuse me sir I’m not understanding you?

Guy: sir (with a smile face) you’re delivering this popcorn to my girlfriend in Ikoyi she’s craving for it.

Me: in my mind, I was like this motherfvcker is crazy…. Chief that popcorn is too whitish and probably I understand it’s a drug in it.

Me: I’ll tell you what, please don’t ever in your lifetime put innocent drivers in high risk in fact I’m doing your video right away..

Guy: please bros you can leave since you can’t go

Me: I repeat it again mr man in your lifetime don’t try it anywhere again and if you try it tonight again am gonna release your pictures for the outside world that you’re dealing with cocs…

Guy: Baba eh don do nah oya take 1k for the stress I promised not to do that anymore.

Me: I don’t need your money goodnight I roll up my window I was very mad till I got home empty…

Things Dey happen for street honestly these people are full of shit especially islands, mushin, Isolo and Ago hmmm lemme stop here.

I wanna add to the ongoing arguments between white collar job and Uber drivers.

Well only people with right minds will see life’s in different ways (why)? Not everybody will get opportunities to work in shell and not everybody will be opportune to be a Uber driver.

Whatever side of coin life thrown to you, grab it and make a big thing out of it.

Started as a white collar, once worked in this and that company was past tense. Life coin right now is we’re partners with Uber/bolt and that’s the coin for now which I’m not letting it to hold my ass down.

I wanna be the guy who drove for Uber but now have fleets of cars in it

I wanna be the guy who collected his car as HP on the high side when friends were saying it’s too much but own his car now the list goes on…

Had a friend who’s driving danfo he’s a graduate married and he doesn’t let life coin weigh him down. He’s doing well got keke for someone to be driving already .

My opinion is that everybody can’t be the same and also, even if you give some people 1Billion$ today they might still mismanage it.

I appreciate the coin of life that got thrown to me.

I’ve promised myself to make A from this hustle and looking out for better achievements ahead.

WHATEVER SITUATION YOU FIND YOURSELF, STUDY IT WELL, SIT BACK, AND MAKE GREATER THINGS OUT OF IT

I WISH EVERYONE WELL
