kanuisagoat:This same thing happened to me long time ago. It was around Chevron bera estate at around past 10pm Naso I got this request and I was inside the estate the lady was saying oga follow your map. Well, I did followed my map and on getting to the pick up they are outside waiting for me (3dem babes u know). One practically was saying shey na your own be this? I saw another corolla pulled over when I was about leaving. My mind told me that's an Uber/driver driver. One of them ladies said see that idiot just dey come now.... The statement triggered my head. Naso I parked which I haven't kuku start their useless trip. One said from behind oga dey go now? I was like going where? You people ordered two rides and be playing tom and Jerry or spongebob for whom to come first nah so if supposed I'm the one that just pulled over, naso you go talk and leave without apology? The other girl wanted to be ranting naso the other lady said oga wetting be your own like this? I replied and told them that things ain't done that way. One of you should get down there and either apologise/compensate the man for the effort because na hustle una wan go hustle and you don't like make dem cheat you (in my mind I don turn pastor wey dey preach for Olosho). But believe me its work the oldest among them opened the door and went to meet the man with 500Hundred and she said sorry. She came and was like oga we can go now! Me as a sharp guy told them say na offline I dey do estimate price was 2500 you people should bring 2k to vi to avoid bad ratings. ![]() Our society is getting worse day by day... sha |

Kandex007:She was saying Hello Hello and cut me off. My advice to fellow drivers out their, get a visible camera in your car to avoid something's like this. You own a car of 1M but can't get camera of 6k is bad abeg. I have 1 of this and its deliver well for me to avoid any transfer issues. Especially when those (lekki babes) see the camera recordings although it's for front view alone but the kind fear wey dey catch dem no be here. One was asking me oga this your camera eh dey recording inside? I replied and said yes for my protection or if rider want to outsmart me with payments, I send him/her my recordings on WhatsApp and in less down 1min I got my money. It could be anything (lastma, vio, local government agberos, policemen, accident and so on) And let's us learn to protect ourselves because COVID is real. Peace

I disagree with your write up OP! People will keep on saying good things about late president Y'adua than the current one when he pass on. Theirs this Baba soldier he built house around my family house back then. He act as if he's God as in if your ball enter him compound, forget that ball for life. When the man died, everybody around the neighbourhood's condemned the man and abuse his death including his wife |
Each time I read how government officials extort Uberbolt drivers, my heart bleeds. There’re many reasons why these things why we fall victims such as greed, misinformation and lack of concentration Am gonna try and be helpful on the part of misinformation Am gonna list some lastma/police/task force/local government touts hotspots On the island No parking and stopping on the entire stretch of marina and broad street, the only authorized drop off and pick up point for Uberbolt is oando filling station marina Also no stopping at CMS bus stop both in front of that church and under the foot bridge. No stopping or parking on the entire stretch of st Gregory’s road or any of the inner street off the street except you’re dropping Off a resident of that particular street, also no stopping or parking on the entire stretch of awolowo road ikoyi No parking along that ikoyi passport office road, you can drop off and wait a bit but don’t park and switch off your engine, they have eyes all around Also if you’re to park on those streets off Alfred rewane be very watchful and don’t sleep off because they patrol from time to time Eko hotel round about is another place to be very careful about, if you’re sharp you can quickly drop off there and move sharply Then another problem with Victoria island is that they’re many one way roads which the signs are hidden or not visible, I can’t vividly describe the streets here with texts but once you’re in VI and you’re trying to enter a street look out for signs or better still park and ask to be sure. The newly built traffic lights at 1st and 2nd roundabout in lekki is a bit confusing, if you’re trying to make a u-turn, look out for the correct sign and turn there, else those lastma and police officers are milking people dry on a daily basis, don’t fall victim pls. Ajah under bridge is also a hot spot From Abraham adesanya down to epe is a bit relaxed Now we come to mainland First on the list is Ikeja, during the day there’s no safe spot on Ikeja except the inner inner streets of GRA and Allen area, Ikeja is very notorious for traffic offenses so it’s better you avoid them but I’ll still share some hotspots Kodesoh street inwards GRA, if you’re not turning right towards airport road, don’t stay on the extreme right, it will be termed obstruction and watch out for the traffic light there, they change very fast Under bridge too,if you’re not sure where you’re going just stay in the middle lane, another thing to note if you must press your phone or receive calls around Ikeja be very watchful too and vigilant Ade niyi Jones to connect oba akran traffic light, pls don’t try and beat it because those task force policemen on bikes are always there and will give you a hot chase Airport road, for no reason whatsoever must you stop on the entire stretch of airport road from international down to local, don’t ever ever stop or park, if you wanna pick someone just drive into the car park and wait, don’t try to be smart about it If you’re to pick a rider at MM1 tell him or get to come in to the car park If you’re to pick at MM2 you can pick from the arrival pick up point or car park but make sure you don’t pick or drop off a rider when you’re on the zebra crossing, that offense alone Na 50k and most importantly don’t waste time while picking up, if you don’t see the rider yet keep moving and circle round back into the airport until you see him or her If you’re to pick at international airport tell the rider to come inside the car park not outside oh, it must be inside after the barrier else they will clamp and tow your car away Most importantly when you’re around Ikeja you should be very smart and watchful and don’t park anyhow Yaba is another hotspot that you don’t park anyhow on the streets except you go into the inner and isolated streets and also watch out for one way roads, another area notorious for one way roads is shomolu and bariga, I don’t really know much about those areas because I don’t go there Surulere The traffic light in front of stadium to turn into Alhaji masha road be very careful lastma guys are always on the prowl, there’s also a turning if you miss it don’t try and turn at the next one,if you’re caught no stories oh Also be careful around aguda area, there’re some no parking zones around there, even if you wanna park just be watchful and smart about it, the local government tours there no get joy at all So for now these are the ones I can easily remember, the rest places I hardly go to and if I go I don’t waste time and am very vigilant before I leave there Places like egbeda, agege, iyana ipaja, ayobo, ikotun, ikorodu, abule egbaland, ogba, somolu, bariga, igando I hardly go to these places Places where you rarely have issues are festac, ago palace way, mile 2,ajegunle,okoko,satellite town, iba Some other hot zones Alakija under bridge Apple junction(not always) Iganmu bridge That will be all for now Stay safe and God bless us all |
You don’t have to disrespect and insult someone’s wife simply for you to hold your own ground. If you do, that shows how shaky your own position to your wife is. Happy new year guys. Ghost1994

This is the gospel truth. Anyone driving on Lagos roads anything after 7pm is looking for trouble for himself. Yesterday I was nearly robbed at Oshodi oke on my way home from the island as I was about dropping my female rider at the descending ramp leading to Mushin-Agege motor road. If there is traffic there, you are finished. The boys were just approaching my car(my glass is tinted but if you stare deeply you will see someone inside) and as one of them raised his hands to pullout something from his trousers to smash my driver's window, the traffic miraculously started moving, and he retreated. That was how God intervened on my behalf. I just quickly zoomed off before another one will come and block me. Lagos is zero security for now o, so please anything after 6.30 to 7pm when it is getting dark, just head straight to your house jehjeh. Any night time traffic you enter into now, you are most likely to be robbed by boys, even in Lekki. Nowhere is safe at all. No police anywhere, and other drivers will not come to your rescue if it happens to you. Copied. Please share |
I'll report the OP to EFCC for copying my post. That's fraud ![]() |

AtoningBlood:Even if Na babalawo you went to look for driver(s), the one that will give you headache will still give you. Just look for experienced UBER/Bolt driver (verified) and choose the driver that his/her location is very close to you cos you need to be inspecting the car at least Once in 2-3 weeks. (Example if you live in Surulere, find driver living in Surulere with gated house/highly secured street and make sure you do comprehensive insurance). Finally, pray and don’t buy Nigeria used car IREOOOO |
This is the time to overhaul your car If you must travel with it for Christmas holidays. Then drive it to ensure it is in good condition before travelling with it 1) Flush your radiator water and add Radiator coolant to avoid overheating 2) Inspect your Camber Bushing Robbers at the front. They determine the stability of your steering. 3) Flush your break fluid and ensure your break Master and Servo are in good condition for active breaking system 4) Ensure that your Tyres have not expired. From the manufacturers date . You shall see 0216. This means 02nd week of 2016. Tyres expires after 4yrs. 5) Any time you enter porthole and your car seems to loose balance then your shock absorber is most likely to be bad. If there is Oil around your shock Absorber. Its likely to have gone bad. Or If your Mechanics after pressing It in, it does not come out slowly, then it needs replacement. But if it comes out very fast, they must have tampered with It by adding much air into it. 6) Asymco Break pad is known to be the best break pad but it does not come as break shoes. 7) When on speed and your Bonnet seems to vibrate, then you need to do wheel alignment but if the steering shakes, then you need wheel balancing. If your car is missing fire then do the following:A) change the plugs B) A plug coil might not be in good condition so replace it. C) Replace your Fuel pump filter D) Service your injectors and Nozzles using Abro Chock spray. Those who sell the injector know how to do it. 9) When driving and suddenly you notice that your steering has gone one side, it's a sign that one of your back tyres is too low. 10) Finally, as you drive and you notice your automatic gear does not change very easily. Then you need to service your gearbox oil filter. You also need to replace the gearbox oil with the right specification. It is written on the dipstick. I wish you the best. *Compliments of the Season* This is from a caring Safety Officer. |

peeps4u:I was fortunate to meet on my first day. He came to pick his car up I think his 2nd week not too sure but he’ was part of Old drivers. The guy was very nice and I appreciate the fact that he was open minded (He said “guy this thing isn’t easy just have a plan B” and he encouraged people to have their own YouTube channels) God” will bless him. Although a lot of drivers have different agendas for Moovee cars. Some are using it to oppress and oven lighters things Some are for business connections Some came to do comparisons Some came to hustle for a month or two just to save up for whatever they’re pursuing. But all in all, Moovee isn’t a deal someone should be proud of. There’s nothing like 25k rental it’s deeper than whatever you’ can even imagine |
