A woman forget 850k in my car on Saturday how did this happened? Her son ordered bolt for her from vgc to marina. He didn’t sent her number to me just gave me code to type and told me to park at the pick up gate maybe he doesn’t want me to call her mother whatever reason though. Well, I picked the woman saw marina but told her “ma’am I can’t park around UBA oh but I’ll park inside oando” The woman flared saying that all drivers she has ever picked always dropped her at marina UBA because her leg is bad to walk. I said to myself wahala 1.9 surge I’ll risk it but ma’am I’ll chuck my car for UBA gate so for you to quickly get down and moved on. I forget to add that she had like 3 bags and she also sat at the back. Hmmm getting to marina I ended the trip while descending the bridge before UBA trip ended with 7,800 mama it’s a card trip. Mama replied thanks she horridly get down. Me not knowing she had forgot one of her bag It’s a long story I’ll try and go to the point… Me got a request from same oando to admiralty thank god for life that the rider is a guy and sat in front haaa naso Gbege for happened. Well I was getting close to Lekki Ikoyi toll naso my phone rang I picked and hearing a crying old woman voice…. Hahah mama please who’s this? Mama: okomi please owo oja ni (it’s her goods money help me) I was like wrong number jare. Naso I end the call Her son called that her mum was the one calling please pick it sir Mama: please brother shebi you be Yoruba I beg you in the name of your creator with Yoruba prayers my bag is behind I forget 850k please help me I beg I don’t mind to give you something please. I replied with calm voice cos I don’t want the rider I picked to know what’s up. Me: mama please go and stay inside oando kindly wait for me their I’ve seen your bag behind immediately I dropped my rider, I’m coming ma'am This woman called me more than 30times at some point I lose my cool “madam it’s your money I’m just heading back kindly wait please now “ I was later mad at myself that I shouted for an elderly person. Well getting to oando I saw the woman with all those agbero boys wey Dey pursue us whenever we come park and also that yellow chicken republic guy all of Em gathered already. Gave the woman her bag filled with cash told her to count it. Which she offered me 10k but I told her MAAM ITS YOUR MONEY I CANT TAKE 1 kobo from that money ma and I’m sorry the way I spoke earlier. Madam was so happy to the point she gave 5k to petrol attendant to fill my vehicle come see drama and cry of joy… |

I don’t have OT nothing nothing but I just believe in myself.
What’s my strategies?
Monday:- I don’t joke or play with mondays anywhere you are, you’ll make your money. Tuesday: early in the morning stay within Yaba, Surulere, Sangotedo, Ajah and Lekki….. Afternoon I make sure I work within mainland and I always target long trips. Wednesday to Thursday: I work anyhow but I usually avoid Ikeja, All Alimosho Local govt., Ikorodu etc… Friday: I work within the targets Saturday: Mainland Sunday: Mainland even if I get island, I’ll use Uber as destination trip back to mainland.
Tips: don’t stay for too long if you’re expecting request move around where surge Dey you can’t spend 400naira fuel to reposition. Imagine today Sunday I see drivers relaxing around Victoria Island in the afternoon there’s mad surge around Yaba, ebutte meta, Surulere etc. with fuel of 300naira you don reposition to this areas.
Contact cheerfulgiver for more tips because me just work on my own oh…
Below is July savings minus cash can’t snap that tonight. Please this is just for motivating someone

Gentlelife50: Full story is ::: these guy requested me on bolt at Admiralty road to ajah with 2 of his friends all wearing nysc uniforms ,but before heading to ajah they stopped at a shop somewhere around fola oshibo to buy shoes ,these guys bought shoes worth 32k and did a transfer to the salesgirl ,she did not see the alert for almost 20 minutes ,so she requested to collect the shoes back ,but the oga came and asked for a debit alert ,and these guys showed him a fake alert that I later got to know the hard way, they gave him my number as their phone number just if he did not get the money he should reachout to them ,and he trusted them with a benefit of doubt,we proceeded to somewhere at ajah ,were they alighted at one cafe at ado road ,the guy did a transfer of 10k to pay for the trip ,I waited for 30 minutes ,checked online did not get money, walk into the cafe told them I need my money ,they showed me a debit alert with my name on it ,the manager of the cafe pleaded I should be patient that it could be bank issues, and I left with the benefit of doubt, not until after 3days I received a call from that guy at Admiralty road that the money I sent for the shoes has not reflected on his account, and I asked him what shoes,I told him I will come and see him so we can talk, when we met I explained to him that am a bolt driver,he said yes he knows I was the one driving that day, that they scamed me too, thank God na ibo guy wey get money and understand life, that's how we drove to the cafe I dropped them, the manager there said they scamed him too of 56k,they ate and drank with fake pos payment ,he only noticed after they left the pos sent a back message that the transaction has been reversed, so three of us were smartly scammed, the guy from Admiralty said he will get them with any juju at his disposal, me just lock up move on till the day he will fall into the pit I dug for him since that day,so guys be guided, these young idiots are way smarter than u can imagine, the worst part they are all over Lagos.
Copied.. The cafe and the shop owner should get a cctv camera. Uber/bolt drivers need a visible dashcam camera at worst. You can get a visible camera below 10k on Jumia once one of them site the camera, they act normal and receive sense. It has helped me severally….

CheerfulGiverr: Yesterday,i saw a group of uber drivers drinking alcohol in the morning at alternative route in chevron. I'm not even talking beer here.
Imagine those guys coming to say no request, and that they aren't seeing their dashboard in their account.
What we post here motivates the ones it will, and the rest will be left behind.
I won't post dashboard forever, but the day I stop posting dashboard of my monthly earnings, know that I've moved on to triple of those earnings a month.
People will see what they want to see. Some are just negative, some spend recklessly, some are just pessimists and some like us have a goal. They keep lumping all together. Time will tell. quote author=CheerfulGiver post=104032643]Some would be disappointed they are not seeing the whole 376k in your savings. I forget to add! I’m marry with a kid and have signed up for life no more kid because they’re liabilities. it’s easier for me that way to quickly achieve my goals. NOTE i wrote it’s easier for me that way ohhhhh To you reading this and just starting, go and get that car and start hustle but have a plan. I drink occasionally and my drinks is just 2 shots I don’t have friends just my wife and my son alone. I have a ps3 at home just in case woman wahala start I’ll just go and kill those modafucka in Gta V just to ease wahala.

Let me be honest here based on my experience on this hustle. I got my Corolla back then on higher purchase just 2 years ago. Have finished paying for the car though. I’m responsible for 100% repairs and during my 2years contract, I had accident ooh because I used to work like Jacky I mean i used to sleep on the island sometimes and I used to see heavy earnings 181k sometimes but not reflecting on the account nevertheless I don’t owe my partner. Problem start arising during the times of repairing I’ll hustle for a month straight and spent almost 100k to fix car. Bushing leakage hub brake pad changing oil and so on just name it. Suddenly I realized that I’m just paying bills which I’m grateful to god and paying my partner too but Mechanic is getting richer off me. To the extent that I drove my car to mechanic and the mechanic condemned the engine that was how I ended up driving for Moove to gather money buy engine (a story I shared here). Fortunately for me, I had occasion in Ibadan and one of my friend apprentice drove my car to hit another vehicle just my bumper got scratched but I don’t know that grace of God just found me that day. Am sorry for my story to be too long but kindly read digest and learn a lesson from it. Getting to panel beater, (anybody that has been to Ibadan mechanic yard will understand how big it used to be. You’ll find everything you need panel, Rewire, mechanic etc.) naso mechanic approach me say my brake pad is low I say how much him talk say 2k or 1500 I said go and bring it he showed me I told him to change it gave him 5h and he appreciated. I called mechanic aside and started asking him prices of part Corola part oh. I got shocked brake disc tokumbo 6k for both side . Engine seats 4K each labor is so cheap. Let me stop here before Lagos spare part dealer come for my head. I started fixing my vehicle in Ibadan afterward or buy part and told them to send it for me which I’ll use 1,500 collect and pay Lagos mechanic max 3k for labor. Below is what I notice that’s eating our earnings most 1. Mechanic is the major problem here 2. Expensive part dealers 3. Fake part dealers 4. Driver saving culture 5. Still mechanic 6. Type of vehicle you’re using. You can add yours…. My revelations so far, I’m working on goal to get second vehicle to give person to drive for me. Who say you can’t build house with Uber money? Tell that person say he or she is stupid. Although not that house in banana island oh but eh get reason why I Dey go Ibadan every 2 months for inspection. Below is what I’ve saved in this July alone and I shared some screenshots TOO. Here’s my target a day I jet out 1. I must save 5k aside drop 1k in kolo and whatever remain will still go into savings 2. If I don’t eat at home before leaving or carry food along, i would branch chicken republic buy 2 refuel mill just 1250 naira. Or any nice restaurant but I don’t do this everyday. 3. I set my target and goals on daily basis Kindly see my post and screenshot as motivation not for lazy I’ve got stories to tell when I finally achieve my goals Saving app 154k Cash on hand 70k with 5k each I lost counting of kolo money cos it’s more than six months have been saving on it. Till December before I could get how much I’m saving. I don’t need to share my account balance make nobody come for my head. And that was my monthly earnings I rest here

northbird: Bolt, the indisputable king of ehailing apps.
The moment you taste Bolt, you won't want to go back to any other app.
The grind this week has been easy peasy. No stress whatsoever. And the cheddar is rolling in.
They now control the market, I mean the audacity with which they set surge across mainland on Tuesday & Wednesday was epic.
Any trip na surge. Even riders were asking me. What's wrong, why is it so high? . I'm like today is Sallah now I don’t even know where my Uber app located on my phone. With bolt, even if you come out by 9pm you’ll still cash out |

BAZ001: 1 star and possibly block if possible Daughters of jazebel, however some of them don’t know how ratings works.
Picked a lady on 3.0 ratings and was jokingly asking her why her rating is low. She doesn’t know driver rates her That she gives all driver 5 star every time, cos they ask for it. I just realize driver have brain washed her and I was about to leak the secret. So I dribbled her out of the gist before she send some people’s father home with 1 star.
But what surprises me is when I see my ratings dropping and all my riders are laughing and gisting. I keep wondering which one of them can play with you and still give you 1 star. Majority of the bolt app users dont know much about the app. All they know is how to book and destination they're going. This happens allot on mainland. Most when rating drivers, they'll be counting it from 1star to 5stars but bolt app will close them off before them reach 3 stars One mama did that yesterday night in my presence but before I could explained to her to just click 5stars direct, bolt app don close after 3rd star ratings So bad though |

vicdon: So i have been seeing the scam post about riders, yeah, riders run fake alerts more this days, what i do is simple, the minute i realized i have been scammed, i text the rider saying my car has a cctv installed, and that he or she has 2 hours to pay me or get free advert, it has always worked for me though.... At least, 2-3 times in a week, someone tries to play a fast one on me, but they always end up begging me after i do this.... i get paid even more sometimes to just die the matter... I swear with everything, since the day I got visible dashcam installed in my car, i haven't had any issues with riders not paying me. Even if i didn't get the alert, na them go first call me say them revert the transaction make I resend my account details. God knows am enjoying this moment before its cast
