O.p don't be greedy. Set her up in life to be independent. She can not just have the wings to fly. Where would the resources come from? They are men who used their money to send their wives to other countries to import and export goods so they can be dependent on their selves.

You are greedy, at least whose good would it be? is it not you? Your woman and girlfriend you can't help.

Tufia! Your reasoning is very backward. Can a baby chicken be dependent on its own without first learning from the mother hen?

Everybody would at a point be dependent on someone to be independent on their own. What would be wrong is when generosity is taken for granted. It is not entitlement to help your woman, Especially if she needs it.

Seriously I pray not to marry your type. . . Na WA o. Na God go help us women. Someone you claimed that is good, you say you don't want to help her 100% cos you don't want her to feel entitled. Chaii, I'm pained. God will bless that girl for me...I feel it so much.

Immediately going on the defensive? Not smart. You're Safia, Ginaz. You confessed to this on a thread I had managed to catch a glimpse of, but forgot to take a screenshot of before you took said post down. Perhaps, You were trolling, Perhaps not. Anyway, It's your business so go on about it wisely.

Ride on. smiley
Until I call the mods on you for defamation of character you won't stop. What would it cost ME to say I'm safiaa? Would you eat me if I say I'm safiaa? What would I possibly gain from lying? Please I want to know.

I beg you with utmost respect, kindly refrain from calling me that name. I have nothing I would gain from lying. Seriously I'm begging you. This has gone more than I can bear. I've been quiet about this for a long time cos I felt it wasn't my concern and besides I don't just jump on threads. It's my undoing at the end. If I had put a stop this won't have happened.

I've not come across your moniker till today. I don't know you. Call me safiaa again and I would call the mods on you by clicking on the report button. Maybe you would regain your senses after a ban.

Telling my mom I love feel feels weird. Even when I would be sick she doesn't ask. Only thing she would say is "wenti dey do you?. And that's it. I will stay in the bed and shiver alone.

But her on the hand, I would ask, advise her and try to make her happy. grin

I would make sure my future kids I tell them how much I love them even though they don't tell they love me in return. smiley

Africans don't show emotions. Maybe the reason delicate words are not spoken. Hell, in some families they won't say "sex" let alone love. undecided

Staphylococcus is not a STD. Why can't people learn?
Romance › Re: How Do I Tell My Neighbour She Has Staph? by Ginaz(f): 11:15am On Nov 02, 2017
My guessed is because lack of knowledge that is making people to abused this staphylococcus by using a lot of antibiotics. That's why it hardly goes away. Staphylococcus should go away by first doze of treatment.

Too much treatments from quack doctors and too much medications might be responsible for the immunity it is getting against antibiotics reason it is getting hard to treat.

I was looking out for this informed response.
I wonder why most Nigerians ignorantly believe that it is a sexually transmitted infection.
I wonder too till I did a researched on it. It is not a sexual transmitted disease cos we have staphylococcus of the eye, throat, ear, sores, in fact everywhere. That is why they don't believe it is gotten through sex and didn't call it among sexual related diseases. One can have staphylococcus from using a very bad toilet. It is a bacteria.

I'm not a medical doctor but I do research most times. I hope this help in educating lots of peeps here.

Romance › Re: How Do I Tell My Neighbour She Has Staph? by Ginaz(f): 6:37pm On Nov 01, 2017
First of all. Staphylococcus is not a Std. It is a kind of bacteria that everyone has on their skin. Because of misconception, people have given it a bad name. Too much of it leads to problem, I guessed that's what is happening to you.

It is not sexually contacted but can be gotten through body fluid. STAPH is NOT A sexually transmitted disease. Do a research on it.

Tell her so she can treat herself. No need in feeling dread cos it is just a matter of bacteria infection. Nothing big here.

sirBLUNT:
i totally agree wit ur perception on religion as karl max said "religion is the opioum of the masses, the help of the helpless and the soul of the souless and we are so drunk in it...to me religion is created by man to answear question abt GOD that he has no answear to, there is no true religion, there is an iota of truth in every religion but u can only know that if u have an open mind...
You see now? You can't questioned or seek answers or you are viewed like you are going astray and thinking like people of the world.

This is what I so much hate about my religion. They tag you weak, apostate, worldly and having worldly thoughts when you see answers.

I mean, this is my salvation, my future, my faith. Why should I not questioned it to ascertain that it is the right path I am taking? Why should I get shunned when I ask questions? Look at the way @BIBLESPEAKS said to me. I should not let my decisions be influenced by the thinking of the world.

If I questioned my faith, does that mean I am being influenced by the world? huh I do not have the right to know about the religion I worship with?

I'm open minded, I'm learnt to flow with it since I can't do anything. I hate the hard stares they give me, I hate the faces, the questions they ask me. Like I will corrupt their kids and stuff

Anyway, I do not intent to raise my kids as JW and would not marry one. I don't know what I believe anymore but I am for certain God would not want a pregnant mother or a young child to die by refusing them blood.

God is not wicked.

BIBLESPEAKS:
everyone will come to that point in their lives where they have to make a decision. we just have to make the right decision, else we would regret. everyone has to carry his/her own load.

there's one thing that is certain. this world and all it represents will pass away. the world and its thinking, its belief systems, its knowledge, its ideas, its institutions...they will not survive the great day of Jehovah. - 1 John 2:15-17.

the reason is that they do not originate with God. we have to make sure that the worlds thinking and ideas do not influence our decisions. our decisions should be influenced by the bible if we are to survive this wicked world.
Just because everything would pass away doesn't mean I don't deserve to know the truth. The Bible clearly stated that the "truth" would set you free. I want to be set free.
Christianity Etc › Re: Five Things You Never Knew About Jehovah's Witnesses. by Ginaz(f): 10:10am On Oct 30, 2017
By the way, I did a deep reasoning yesterday after this thread on the issue of blood.

I find it hard that God would shed the blood of his only begotten son for us to get everlasting life but punish one that takes blood to save his life. I find it very hard.

God made a law about blood but it's the same God out of compassion that shed his son's blood so we can have life. So would God hardened his heart when it is a matter of life and death?

God has shown time and time over that he is a compassionate God. It is wrong to let someone die because God values life.

Jesus healed a man on a sabbath day. Note, to not obey the regulations of the sabbath is a very serious sin at that time, the result is death. But Jesus shown that life was more important by healing the sick man. Mark 3:1-6.

If Jw say God is not wicked to punish one in Hell, then should God be wicked so much to punish one that takes blood to save a life?

please let's all reason, let's do deep thinking

Jw are like the Pharisees of Jesus time. They value commandments more than life. They would hardened their hearts in the face of life and death.

think people, think.
Christianity Etc › Re: Five Things You Never Knew About Jehovah's Witnesses. by Ginaz(f): 12:00am On Oct 30, 2017
I was brought up a jw, I've always been the curious type. I am not the type that just takes things without researching deeply into it.

I started noticing a lot of thing so wrong when I was a teenager.

1- when you don't go out to preach you are viewed as not spiritually strong.

what is the purpose of Jesus death? Did he die on the cross so we preach about the gospel or so we can have everlasting life? cos the way JW place so much importance in house to house felt like it was all Jesus died for. So we go out and make disciples of people of all the nations. Oh, Jesus would be proud then. "I died so you move house to house to spread the gospel" wow, great.

2) no matter what they say to cover up, it is strictly forbidden to have any other religion materials apart from JW. You are not even to have it. I took a friend's church brochure, the topics sounded interesting, so I took it home to learn more. All hell broke loose. It resulted in me returning the book the next day.

what is wrong if I accept someone's material to possibly learn more about God? What is the Jw afraid for? that its member would go astray? But they say they teach the truth but why are they scared to let it's members broaden their knowledge, contrasts informations and know the truth ?

3) When I started asking questions, telling them my findings, digging deeper they started calling me apostate.

Jesus never called anybody apostate. When the pharisees questioned his source of power to perform miracles, he didn't called them apostate, none did he shunned anybody. And is it biblical? Where was it stated in the Bible to shun people who question you? If they teach the truth why are they afraid of giving answers?

4) Jesus said you should baptized in the name of the Father, son and holy Spirit. When you are being baptized as a Jw, you are asked if you know that your baptism signifies you as a member of Jehovah witness

where did the Bible make mentioned that baptism signifies one as a member of a religion? Is it scriptural? Doesn't it sounds like you are getting baptized into a religion not to God? Why should my baptism identify me as being a member to Jw? Is it the religion I am getting baptized to or to God? I find that part offensive hence my reason of not getting baptized as a JW

These and so many questions I have but they won't answer. Since I can not leave well I'm stuck. In fact I wrote all my questions down, when they saw I wasn't giving up they stopped answering me.

I stopped believing in religion a long time ago. I think God would not choose one religion from the other cos no religion is right in the eyes of God.

We should do Good for the motherless and fatherless, give to the needy and obey his commandments. That's the only true religion.

the rests are doctrines of men, twisted to make it look like it's the truth
