fulanimafia:I don't know about you but I did not vote for PMB to appoint ministers from every region. I voted for him to deliver good governance. My definition of good governance is reduced corruption and eradication of insurgency by any means necessary. And he seems to be doing a pretty damn good job at the moment. It will be good if he spreads his appointments across all regions but as far as I am concerned, that is just an icing on the cake. The moment he begins to deviate from good governance, he can kiss my vote good-bye come 2019. “Let’s get serious. Let‘s get to move this country forward and away from all this small, petty issues. To me it is not an important issue and I don’t want to deal with it. The President can appoint everybody from one village. As long as the people can get the job done, let them get it done. That is what Nigerians wanted and that is what they voted for”. |
PvtParts:Who are the slaves? You better check your history books again. Who formed Association of Better Nigeria that teamed up with the Babangida regime to dissolve june 12 election and sought for the elongation of Northern regime? Who created Youth Earnestly asked for Abacha and organised million man march for the black-goggle general? Meanwhile Gani Fawehinmi, Fela, Abiola, Kudirat all died fighting the same north that your silly fellows now accuse us of being slaves to them. What about Wole shoyinka and co. Awolowo contested election against Shagari. Can you tell us who was Shagari's vice president. Pls don't even get me started on who the real slaves are. |
PvtParts:See a sensible person ![]() Where did we get to and what did we achieve when OBJ, ya'rdua GEJ all "followed" federal character principle? You wailers were also busy complaining of the need to abolish the federal character quota system. Now someone has indirectly granted your wish and you are still wailing. That is why wise people say "Be careful of what you wish for because you may just get it" Anyway I have nothing to discuss with you. I'll just leave you with a quote from Pat Utomi: “Let’s get serious. Let‘s get to move this country forward and away from all this small, petty issues. To me it is not an important issue and I don’t want to deal with it. The President can appoint everybody from one village. As long as the people can get the job done, let them get it done. That is what Nigerians wanted and that is what they voted for”. |
erico2k2:if gej gov was not wasteful, we wouldn't have been in this mess to start with.
|
DONSMITH123:No I don't. I personally believe ALL POLITICIANS ARE A$$HOLES. And that includes PMB. But I voted him ahead of the "jesu of otueke" on the ground of performance. I voted PMB to reduce corruption and stop insurgents. But he seems to be over-delivering already! BH that was bold in engaging the Nigerian army are now suddenly on the back foot. To make thing even better, He just approved 65 private refineries in addition to the clean-up order of Ogoni land. I did not vote PMB to make Fashola or any Yoruba man a minister or to give my tribe men appointment. I voted PMB to reduce the waste created by the corrupt PDP gov. and bring peace to our land. Every other thing is just an icing on the cake. LET PMB CHOOSE HIS TEAM FROM ONE VILLAGE IF HE LIKE ------PAT UTOMI (as long as he keep smile on the face or ordinary Nigerian) |
Activa:Thank you jare. God bless. |
ShowYourCertificate:YEAH!! And guess what, he just approved 65 private refineries. And he is just about to clock 3 months in power. Something your "jesus of otueke" couldn't do in 6 yrs in power |
DONSMITH123:Wow!! @ the bolded. I just can't believe this group has the right to accuse anybody let alone PMB of hatred not after all the pre-election blackmail and snare campaign of hatred and unjust assassination of character. I feel like upsetting some people a little bit this morning. So here goes: IF INEC CONDUCTS ANOTHER ELECTION BETWEEN PMB AND GEJ AGAIN TODAY, I WILL CAMPAIGN AND MOBILIZE VOTES FOR PMB ![]() |
Looks like the op just copied and pasted after reading the headline. Let me help you highlight the key point before you start blaming PMB on what "the experts" say: ShowYourCertificate: |
Absolute RUBBISH!! How many freaking times will we do registration? From driving licence to national id to inec card to Banks KYC which later came up with BVN. I don't even remember how many times I have redone my sim card registration. MTN and co can come to my house and collect their sim card. I am not going to spend 1sec in any of their God-damned kiosks. Let's see who will lose when majority of nigerians stand for their right and call their bluff. |
Ride on mr President. You cannot fight what you condone. If PMB bends, that will be the end! Lots of TANdroids are waiting for that opportunity. Even if Jesus is among the selected ministers, PDP and their TANdroids wailers will still say hei is not totally clean - talkless if PMB bend/shift grounds on his principle of only selecting stainless people for the ministerial jobs. As much as possible, Nigeria must be cleansed of corrupt officials God Bless Sai Bubu God Bless Nigeria |
This dullard of a Buhari doesn't know the basics of demand and supply. All he know is body landguage ![]() |
I have said it b4 that the electricity problem in Nigeria is lack of political will and not technical know-how. gists: |
carnegiefan:And you think Israel will do that without US approval? Its more complicated than just a fight between Israel and Iran. Note that the US will be very cautious going into a war with Iran knowing fully well the position Russia will likely take. With all the confidence Ukraine had in US and all the noise they made, Crimea is now a Russian state. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying US is afraid of Russia. As far as I am concerned (though I may be wrong) US will defeat Russia 10 times if they fight 10 times. But the US is too intelligent to fight a rofo-rofo fight with a pig. The cost of victory over Russia will be too massive and I am sure US will not want to go into that. No doubt Israel can defend herself, but it is a tiny nation and toooo easy to wipe out of the map - especially with Russia always looking to take the opposite side with US. The consequence of starting a fight with Iran is too dire and they know it. I may be wrong again but I think that US realize she is better off having Iran as an ally (just like Saudi is US 2nd biggest ally after Israel in the ME) than letting Iran form a permanent bond with Russia. Little wonder the deal between US and Iran is progressing at a rate never seen before. If you disagree, just tell us why on earth will US fight a war with Iran just for the purpose of solidarity with Israel who start an unprovoked war. Bear in mind that Iran has about the 2nd largest oil reserve in the middle east and Iran will most likely have the backing of Russia - From Us perspective, that is a bad combination i.e Iranian oil adding to the fueling of Russian military might. That is why Israel will only continue to make noise and Bragg without doing anything. |
AndroBlaze:Bros don't waste your time on the id!ot. She said why didn't South Africa arrest Nigerian Federal Gov. ![]() Happiness87:TANoids no go kill person 4 nairaland with their stup!dity |
neocortex:Yeah!! So finally some1 is talking. The Federal Government of Nigeria under the clueless one tried to buy weapons ILEGALLY!! Does that make sense to you? Why on earth will the federal government of a sovereign nation buy weapons ILLEGALLY? BTW, does this not partially tally with the recent news report that PMB will probe illegal arms deals? Bros TANoid, get it into your skull now. The FG does not need to buy weapons illegally. In fact FG later got the weapon from NON-US ally LEGALLY - President Goodluck Jonathan is seeking re-election in less than two months time and had given the green light to the military authorities to procure arms from alternative sources such as Pakistan and Russia other than Nigeria’s traditional allies led by the United States of America, United Kingdom and France. They knew what to do if the $9m cash was for weapons. FG didn't and should have to buy weapons ILLEGALLY. No matter how you TANoid spin the story, the fact remain that South African Gov seized $9m cash flown to their country by the private jet of top GEJ ally. If it was legal and the right things were done, the SA gov would not have embarrassed us. And to make matters worse, instead of making someone face the law, FG under GEJ further embarrassed Nigeria by claiming it sent the money. BIG SHAME on you TANoids for making stup!d/unintellegent excuses. Tripleclick:Ans the questions and stop displaying your fo0lishness in public gists: |
Happiness87:Your fo0lishness no get part 2. Typical brainless TANoid. How can you arrest FG. Is FG an individual? So you expect SA to come and arrest GEJ, Sambo, Mark et al abi. The stup!dity of you TANoids is indeed legendary. So after all said and done you finally admit that our FG's action was wrong. But you still have not answered the other two questions: 1) why didn't we get the weapons in the end? According to you bigoted ignoramuses, it was a matter of improper or lack of declaration. So why was it hard to do the correct thing and get the weapons (i.e even if FG was allowed to carry such huge amount) . It is on record that the weapons from that national embarrassment never came. 2) Would you have taken this position if the money was caught in a plane that belongs to the Sultan of Sokoto trying to buy weapons from Iran? You can fo0l some people some of the time. But you cannot fo0l everybody all the time. |
Happiness87:It is you that should look for another lie as this one is busted on arrival. Ans the questions to distinguish yourself from the regular dullard TANoids. Why did the SA gov seized the money if it was legal and they knew about it. How come we didn't get the weapons afterall the embarrassments? Imagine, FG owning up to int'l crime. Would you have taken this position if the money was caught in Sultan's plane trying to buy weapons from Iran? The days of national embarrassments are over! Anyone that want to embarrass the gov. should give it a try Sai Baba |
Happiness87:Yes we know the official story. It was for weapons abi? But the only thing is that it had to be in cash right? I guess there were no other means of legally transferring that amount of money other than to carry it in cash - $9m. And if they were expecting it, why did the SA gov, seized the money? And did we get the weapons at the end of the day? BTW, In your wrapped up mind, going by the religious/ethnic tensed atmosphere created by PDP satanic campaign machinery, it is fine for $9m cash to be ferried in a private jet that belonged to the president of Christian Association of Nigeria to South Africa to buy weapons from Israelis. But you saTANoids would have carried to high heavens about islamisation if the same amount of money was intercepted from a private jet belonged to Sultan of Sokoto while trying to buy weapons from Iran. |
EdCure:During the last administration, some people flew $9m cash to south africa and Nigeria was embarrassed. As if that was not enough embarrassment, instead of holding the culprits and making them face the wrath of the law, my dear FG took responsibility for an international crime! Thank God the days of impunity are over. Whosoever breaks the law shall be face the music. May God continue to strenghten the President will and courage to clean the rotten PDP mess. Sai Bubu |
alizenbohr:Why are you trying to educate someone who can't even write simple english. Just take a quick look at the topic: "Saudi Arabia Has To Be The Most dumbest Nation On Earth". So what do you expect? |
tunde1200:Tunde, leave the guy jare. he won't be able to sincerely answer your question. if only he spare half the energy he has used so far to search for the top 10 countries with the highest crime/murder rate in the world and match against the dominant religion in the respective countries - google and wiki are always friends but some are just truthful enough to ask sincere questions. |
Which kind wahala be this? Is it by force to render my service? Is it not a violation of my fundamental human right to force me to do what I don't want to do - even if I don't cite religious belief. SMH |
Now that's more like it. We don't want another case of a N750k fine for someone who stole $27.2b. The police pension scam quickly comes to mind. |
If the story you pasted is true, then I may be tempted to blame Ogbeni who I admire until this your story. I blame him because he was quick to increase the staff salary without proper attention to "what-ifs" There are states with higher allocation, better IGR and lower work-force that were not so quick at implementing the wage increase - or inceased with caution. If this your story is true (which I don't want to believe), this should teach our leaders and administrators a big lesson not to be quick at playing to the gallery. It is bad enough that Nigeria and most of the states have recurring expenditure that more than double that of capital project, but it is worse to just increase the already insane staff wage (for a 21000 workforce!!) when your investment has not started yielding and you have only one source of income. Without the increase, he wouldn't have had it that bad. |
Awo hall - neva a dull moment ![]() |
Oh como on!!! nairaland has been boring without the wailers. I even tried to provide an excuse they can feast on yet my brothers are still keeping quiet. We need to let Pa Bubu know that he is not the president of the north alone. Why couldn't he also appoint professors from universities in other regions. This is not fair ![]() gists: |
nwadiuko1:The last time a PhD holder ruled that part of Africa, rag-head terrorists claimed a substantial part of the country in addition to several reported cases of billions of dollars stolen under his watch. |
Rotjijatau:Why on earth is Bubu always appointing people that have affinity/connection to the north? ![]() |
ITbomb:You see your life? Was the naira devalued between the time-period in question? Are you saying the government use black market rate to convert USD to naira because I don't recollect the official value of the naira by CBN rate was 32% lower in value in the month of July compared to that of June. |
Now some people will still say they don't want this type of change. If the previous admin was still in Aso rock, I wonder what would have become of this country by now. Thank God for Sai Buhari |
For the past 2 or 3 weeks, it been an average of about 5 good news per week if not more. This week is starting with yet another one. wailer are free to hug the nearest transformer. They are now working!! God bless PMB. |
