Only in the dreams of the ipobians. It is extremely laughable to think PDP that which has zoned the presidency in 2019 to the north will turn around to fill a known failure who looked away when the north was decimated by BH. While I don't believe the story, but if its true, I blame PMB. If he had stood firm and not play the sentiment game, the ineffectual buffon should have told EFCC how much he is willing to return. |
Keneking:Let us assume for the sake of it that it is truly the only thing he achieved in just one year, does this singular achievement not overshadow the preceding six harrowing years of a certain Ineffectual Buffon, where corruption was not stealing, looting went on unabated, unemployed youth scammed and killed, pensioner monies looted, nigerian army disgraced by ragheads and so many countless sad occurrences. |
Its obvious that its only a matter of time before solar energy catches with other sources of energy. But what most people fail to realize is that the problem with solar is not the price. The main problem with solar energy is the POOOOR efficiency i.e POOOR energy conversion from solar radiation to electricity. I know the technology is getting better and more efficient, but you still need very massive land area to install huge number of panels just to get the same amount power from other conventional methods of electricity generation. Imagine the amount of power that Lagos needs and imagine the land mass required if solar is to provide just 10%. Of course, if the Lagos state government is determined and brave enough, she can build a solar or wind farm on the atlantic - but then the cost will sky-rocket by a 1000 time. For me the second draw back to solar is its inability to generate power at night time. Trust me, if storage batteries can be eliminated and solar panels can somehow squeeze out power from the very tiny solar radiation in the night, then the world will me moving seriously towards green energy. And even if the cost of such panels is three times the present price, it will be well worth it. But we shall get their. The days of fossil fuel are numbered. |
@ iamDiabolic First, learn to format your post. Next, save us the sermon that the south is the only region that can save Nigeria. What has the few southern leaders done when they were in power? I am not saying it is only the north that can bring us out of this shiit. But to suggest that na we holy pass is just as sick as those breeding almajiris in the north. Can you please suggest any such leader down south as of today that have such nerve to tackle the number two problem in this country i.e corruption? At this rate, I dont care if a northerner or southerner rules for the next 8 yrs provided this inpunity is tackled headon as we are seeing. As for PMB's perceived favouring the north..... yawn!! When my brother Obanikoro was the minister of state for defense, what did he do to better our lives at least in terms of security? Instead, what we saw was OPC terrorized people on Ikorodu road in broad day light weilding all sorts of weapons while being escorted by Nigerian security forces. Do I need to ask what FFK did for his people other than inciting religious intolerance in the most peaceful and accommodating region in the entire country. When Bankole was the speaker of the HOR, can you tell me how the yorubas became better off? When Pius Ayim was the senate president and later SGF (under their ineffectual hero), how did the ndigbo fare better? Ekwerumadu has been the deputy senate president since 2007 - that's a whooping 9 years! How has the Igbo fared better? This bigotry (na we holy pass. he is our son; it is our turn; they want to Islamize/Christianize all of us etc) is the no 1 problem Nigeria is facing - closely followed by corruption which PMB is facing head-on. It is the same bigotry that made you to stylishly ignore the fact that Kachukwu is now the overall chairman of NNPC in addition to the post of minister of state for petroleum. You forget to mention that our brothers are the only ones with super ministries i.e Fashola, Amechi and now Kachukwu. No doubt, PMB obviously has his faults. I score him low on the herdsmen killing too (note, I did not say Fulani herdsmen because I know you people are only trying desperately to somehow link him using his tribe). But, although the security in the country is not perfect, it is a lot better compared to when Nigerian army were chased to Cameroon. When we heard the disgraceful sacking of Nigerian army from their base. When bombing of innocent people of ALL tribes and religion was as frequent as at least once in a month. You all can wail on if you like. But here is a news flash - IF THE ELECTION WERE TO BE REDONE TODAY, WE WILL STILL CAMPAIGN AND VOTE FOR PMB. Yeah I expect to be called a zombie. Guess what I don't care. PMB must finish his term and I mean in 2023 ![]() |
God Bless PMB!! I didn't vote for PMB to turn-around the economy. I consider that an icing on the cake if he can perform the magic after PDP has bastardized the economy for so long and particularly the damage done by the last administration is demonic to say the least. I voted for PMB to eliminate insurgency and reduce corruption to the very minimum. I strongly believe their can't be any meaningful development (economic, infrastructural or otherwise) where these two menaces reigns. I score him 65% on elimination on insurgency (I score him low on insurgency because of herdsmen attack and the rumors of useless for talks with NDA). But on reduction of corruption, I score him 85%. I am tempted to raise the score after hearing Methu has offered to return N400m and the breaking news of billions found in Stella Odua's house maide account. EFCC has suddenly come to life after Jonathan practically killed it. Omisore should do the needful and return his share of the loot if he knows what's best for him. Meanwhile, EFCC should use this time to perfects their case with Fayose so that when his tenure is over, he will do the hand-over from Kuje prison. |
Let me look for Ipob trouble: THIS LIST DOES NOT REFLECT THE OF 5% RULE AND AS SUCH IT IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. BIAFRANS MUST STAND AND UNITE AGAINST THIS MARGINALIZATION ![]() |
which one is sierraloaded.com again |
TippyTop:Can you see bigotry running in your blood? You're asking for 2 xtian candidates but cannot stand the idea of 2 muslim candidate. Like rusher14 said, what on earth will xtian-xtian, muslim-muslim, pagan-pagan, olumba-olumba pairing bring to the common man? How does that build the 2nd Niger bridge, how does that make education/health care and others better? It is people like you that FFK is reaching to instigate. The question I ask is, how many of you (his xtian warriors) did he empower when he looted the money. |
Who takes FFK serious again? I stopped taking him serious when he said APC gov want to islamise Nigerian and that their governors are 80% muslims. I mean, is that what a sensible person should campaign with? Rather than telling us what his candidate will do for the nation, he was busy giving us very confidential and classified information that Fashola, Aregbe and co were muslims ![]() Anyway, my own word to him is that now that he is raising awareness that christians are being prosecuted, I wonder how many of these christians he empowered with the money he looted? Oh by the way, someone should tell the diarrhea-mouthed man that his brother-in-crime (i.e methu) has offered to return N400m. Apparently, it looks like Methu is a better Christian for at least attempting to follow the part of the scripture quoted by the op: BeeBeeOoh: |
Where is FFK and his brainwashed fanatics. I thought they said only christians are bein prosecuted. |
SeverusSnape:Shame on you. you should just cover your head in shame. Is this not you that said ND are fighting a just cause? Even though you admitted the activities of ND is affecting the host communities. Now you blame the FG for the attrocities of the ND militants. What sense does that make to you as a sophisticated homo-sapience living in 2016. SeverusSnape: |
EasternActivist:And you that you are not a coward, remind me again how many ipob members have met their death from the bullets from the guns of the Nigerian Army? I am sure you have lost count. How many of your kinsmen have you saved from the herdsmen rampaging? Keep laughing in swahili. Afterall, you are probably posting from the very comfort and safety provided by the same yorubaland. |
Billyonaire:You are largely right in your post. But did you correct the other people that have been preaching violence and wrecking havoc in the name or religion and tribalism? Where were you when someone called his own people/country a zoo? Where were you when Kanu called for the killing of his own people that has anything to do with the north/islam? So ot didn't occur to you that Tribalism, Racism, Zenophobia, Anti-Semitism, etc are all vices when they do their thing abi? Granted the ONE that created us all created us equally as you rightly noted, but when people begin to incite violence in a relatively peace place for senseless reasons like religion you didn't come out to condemn it. FFK just wrote a letter saying christians are being persecuted just because he is being tried for his illegal involvement on funds for country's arms deal. What is he trying to do to the psyche of christians? Is that not divisionary? You didn't bother to respond to that thread because I have not seen your comment their. The OP just detailed the resilience and relative beauty of the Yoruba nation. The question you should ask is - is he wrong? For me I see his post as an attempt to make us realize we are ONE and not divisive as you think. Tinubu is a muslim, but his wife is a deaconess. Same goes for Fashola. In my case, I am a muslim but my sister is a christian and I have many friends with the same dynamic family structure. The OP is just reminding us to ignore the ranting of people like FFK and other agents of destruction who want to prey on the psyche of Nigerians to wreck havoc just for their own selfish gains. Perhaps if people likes of the OP hadn't kept quiet in Rwanda, the genocide that ripped that country wouldn't have happened. |
I still believe in the Igbo nation, though the majority of their political self-defeating moves nauseates to say the least. |
This is what civilized people do. They come together, brainstorm and decide to leave or stay by voting. We saw the same with the Scottish referendum. No insults, no name calling of other people and above all no soliciting for weapons Good luck to the civilized people of UK - the world will always take them seriously. |
What about his TV station and also twiteer account? |
securi:When will u people stop being silly? You should have our-grown it by now. You are quick to blame a man that was an ordinary citizen for violence he has no control over. You continue to blame him while shamelessly calling the then Corruption-In-Chief had all the security outfits under his control and couldn't do anything to prevent the killing, your hero. |
desperadoes (ipobs) have been impersonating since God knows when. We know your types and you only f00l yourself |
Honza27:And that is why your dilector is still in the zoo cage. And he will be there for at least another two months (in september and that is even if the judge hears the case) .No amount of chest beating and empty threats will free him |
While they keep manufacturing fake disease and illnesses for him... ...PMB keeps waxing stronger. ![]() |
Inani:I am a muslim but in this case, I am sorry I do not want to follow america sheepishly. We have a court system in this country, and I strongly believe we should just do whatever the court says. There is no bagga that can force the students to remove the scarf if the court says hijab should stay. Similarly, if the court says the hijab should go, well - so be it. Period. There is no reason why we should sensationalize this issue IMO |
ziccoit:Bros, you dey even go too far. The question is when will an anambra man become the governor of enugu, when will an ebonyi man become the governor in Imo? when will a bayelsa man become the governor in Abia state (afterall, they claim they are their brothers). They cannot even tolerate half of what Yorubas have given them. As I recall, one of their governors even had the audacity to sack other igbo indigens from civil service before he was called to order. I think it was Abia state if I recall well. Yet they want to become the governor of Lagos even when they can barely tolerate themselves at home. Are the Igbos the only non Yorubas in Lagos? |
Can someone help talk to this man that we have had enough of his cluelessness and he should stop displaying it. Let him stop comparing apples with plantain chips. The terrorist in Orlando did not chase the security forces to the neighboring country like we saw under his watch. The terrorist in Orlando did not have a filled day/week/month or years (like we saw under his clueless watch) before the security agents pinned him down. The terrorists in Nigeria that took massive land and freely bombing people under his clueless government have since been technically neutralized by his sucessor who just spent 1yr in office. If this man has any atom of shame, he really shouldn't be talking. Ogoni cleanup exercise is a real pointer to how truly clueless he |
May his soul rest in peace. Dear God, please calm this wave down for us all in this country. |
How come the news does not have sauce? OP, you for try harder and give a credible link just to give ur story a little bit of credibility. Even if it is biafraradionews.br ![]() |
MrAdetunjiBayo:Well, I think you are on your own. I am a Full-Blown Yoruba Muslim too. But I cannot defend anybody just because Islam came to Yorubaland from their axis. I do not owe them any dime! And I certainly don't support selling anybody based on religion. But I do agree we need to sell out the crazy ones among us. Like that one-chance crazy governor that posted Obituary of a man that is still living. We must support the effort of whoever is in Aso rock to kill corruption (irrespective of his/her religious affiliation). Otherwise, corruption will kill us - Boko Haram is a good/practical example of how corruption can kill. |
ijustdey:May God Almighty continue to strengthen the president and guide him with divine wisdom. |
ZUBY77:God question!! And yet most of you guys are ever so quick to blame it on Islam. The next logical question is (if not because of hypocrisy and hatred), why blame the act on Islam instead of those that have written their own laws and also chose themselves as judges? |
Heavance:@the bolded While I completely agree with that statement (I am assuming you mean everybody should respect other peoples' religion) I also strongly believe in justice. The people that were involved in this murder crime must be brought to book. We cannot just say what belong to "ceasar" must be given to "ceaser". "cearser" himself must know that their is a constituted authority and anybody that goes against it must be brought to book. I don't know exactly what she did, but what I hear people saying is that she committed blasphemy. But the same people who turned themselves to God's judge in kano are the same ones that will be committing adultery, fornication, smoking, drinking burukutu and other alcoholic drinks. While the state government is investigating this case to roundup as many people involved in this case, I'll like to see the emir of Kano (SLS) being an educated and well respected figure come out and condemn this act without reservation. |
kaorama:What a f0olish statement! What on earth do you need an apology for? Is it apology that is needed or justice? Sometimes we let bigotry to becloud our sense or reasoning. So if the government apologizes you'll be ok even without the killers brought to book. This is the same line of thinking that made people go hysterical because PMB did not go for the Ogoni clean-up "opening ceremony" - even though the man has followed the approval of the UNEP report with real-world action and the actual cleanup has started (and some are still wailing that he didn't come for the opening as if that is what matters to the Ogoni people or is he the one that has to physically clean the town?) Kano government should do more than just condole the bereaved family. The arrested person must be DRILLED so as to name others that were involved and ALL OF THEM BROUGHT TO BOOK! This is 2016, no time for unnecessary apologies but judicial action! |
futmxconnectn:Tomorrow, the people will start wailing that FG and the oil companies should come and clean the mess. And after a while, they will start the victim game that FG has abandoned them with their polluted lands. |
Let me hlep you but I will not mention many of his numerous achievements 1 Dualization of Lagos-Abeokuta express road 2 Sagamu by-pass (which many of your people pass through when they go home for xmas and new yam festival) 3 Dualization of Ife-Iwo road At the National level: I will only mention 2 of his achievements that dwaf everything uncle joe did = 1. Banking consolidation which produced 25 able banks 2. Local Content development which ensured Nigerians get employed in the oil/gas sector Note: I am not a fan of obj but gej unparalleled failure makes obj look like messiah in hindsight |
