shalomm:No ooo. Admittedly, its GEJ that bought the guns for them. Only that GEJ forgot to buy enough bullets so our soldiers didn't have enough armo. That may be the reason why BH was chasing our soldiers to Cameroon where they surrendered their weapons. God bless the soldier on the war front. |
war is 90% logistics. Someone made an analogy of the way the last administration was fo0lishly or incompetently going about the war against BH. He said if you have a leaking pipe in your house and the room is flooded, the most rational thing to do is to stop the leakage or at least turn off the supply to the leaking pipe before thinking about mopping the floor. The last administration kept "mopping" the floor by fighting with ill motivated soldiers while the "leaking pipe" was left unplugged i.e BH financiers are not captured, logistics suppliers like in this case were left to keep rendering all sorts of support to the terrorist group. Kudos and God's Blessing to the Brave men on the front line. |
If this is all we have after the supposed equiping of the military by GEJ, we really need to thank OBJ for not going to war with Cameroon over Bakasi (even though OBJ is also a big part of the problem). But I find it ludicrous that someone think we should clap for GEJ for allegedly procuring this outdated hardware in 2015 after waiting of over 10000 lives to be wasted by BH. |
Until a credible news source carry this story, I'm buying this from one obscure cynthiamorgansblog |
Demdem:Exactly my thought. This is PDP rofo-rofo fight. But then, no sacred cows let the law enforcement agents do their work. He should face the music if he is found guilty. |
insure1:What has "likes" got to do with the truth? Why does the truth hurt so much? Is this not the same Nigerian Army that BH chased to Cameroon and surrendered weapons? Is this not the same Nigerian Army that lost territories to BH? I asked these questions b4 maybe you can help me with some answers What variable has changed in this BH equation? Has the Nigerian Army gone on more advanced/specialized training? Have they recruited more soldiers? Have they received more weapons because not even the supposed weapons from US is in their possession. So what exactly changed that we now get this kind of positive report OTHER THAN CHANGE IN LEADERSHIP from a shoeless one to an ex-General? Has PMB done anything extra-ordinary that GEJ couldn't have done to prevent so much loss of lives and properties? keep leaving in denial. But after so much lives lost and many more ruined, Nigerians will not be deceived (hopefully) again by a sensless play of emotion by some shoeless dullards in future. |
Imagine someone's father, someone's husband, someone's son digging up and using bare hands to clear IEDs and mines on the street of Nigeria so that civilians can move around safely. GOD BLESS these selfless soldiers. NEVER AGAIN on Nigerian soil NEVER AGAIN should we vote anyone who said he was shoeless because we now know he must have been senseless to hing his campaign on that. |
How will PMB handle OBJ his ex-boss? Interesting time of CHANGE |
AtlanticBreeze:Hahahahahahahaha LMAO who gives a fvck about ur impression ![]() |
NgeneUkwenu:Rumours has it that he also heard he grew up in sokoto. Gud reason for them to keep wailing |
hinwazaka:Keep wailing. How is this a plus for pdp? Darrel visited PMB and the latter makes an appointment. Then it becomes a plus to pdp. even if it is true, how difficult is it for pmb to fire ibe? |
Bad news for bigoted TANoids |
HopeAtHand:Not true. I am sure you will not mind a visa to visit NORTH AMERICA ![]() |
AnamCity:Good news. People should focus more of this kind of positive projects rather than expending energy on some fantasy/dream lands that will get millions killed unnecessarily. |
Did Joe Igbokwe peeped into my profile? i wrote something similar waaayyy back in March gists: |
And the fo0lish TANoids call him a dullard. Just a few months ago BH was taking on the Nigerian Army and claiming territories. Today the same Nigerian Army is establishing a center in BH fortress. The question is: What has changed? Has the NA gotten more weapons? Have they recruited more personnel's? Have they gone on more advanced training? How come the same BH that was chasing our soldier a few months back suddenly are on the back foot? What has changed is the quality of and the body language of the leadership. We now have a no nonsense General as president not a certain drunk fedora hat wearing fisherman. |
As much as I want these thieves caught, I don't want a situation where the banks will be closed again i.e the local banks involved in the deals. The local banks are big (at least by ourbstandard) and employs a substantial number of people. This should be done but with extreme caution so the banks will not go under. Only the thieves and their accomplices shouyb thoroughly dealt with. |
When the issue of registering the Islamic bank first came up, a lot of the so called intelligent ones and a certain punk-headed, libation-pouring pastor were up in agitation trying to prevent the registration. they claimed it was a northern agenda to islamize nigeria. It is well over two years (maybe over three years sef) and we are yet to see anyone forcefully converted since the bank has been operating. Now the bank is coming to southwest yet the Biafra seeking bigots will not mind their biafra business. Is the bank coming to south east? lWhich one concern una with southwest now. No be una talk say southwest will be oduanistan? Just focus your energies on supporting Kanu and let southwest be - with or without Jaiz bank. let anyone (irrespective of religious affiliation) patronize Jaiz bank if s/he so wishes. All I am concerned about is the TAX that the bank will pay the Oyo state government. We need all the companies we can get to come establish in our region. Let the bank also expand its operation to Ogun where there are countless of industrious people that will patronize it. Amosu should even give the bank some TAX holidays sef. |
sweetgala:I can bet the head office will be in Lagos. so much for regional bank. So they will not accept deposit if Adamu or Kayode bring N10m? Truth hurts, just like I saw Wema bank in PHC, I see the bank opening branches across the country if it want to survive. |
too late bro |
all politicians are a$$holes. Some are just smellier than others |
There is a branch of Wema bank in Port Harcourt lol. So much for regional bank in this days of global competition. |
We are getting closer to the end of the tunnel. We shall see the light after this darkness. |
olapluto:Exactly what I was thinking. Why will somebody still be doing this primitive method of transaction when clearly there are official channels available to legal business through their banks. Are you the only one doing int't transactions. There are countless other legal business that will really appreciate this move. |
modhream:man why are you disgracing yourself in public like this? you asked a dumb question and I gave you stats to show how dumb the question is, yet you still get mouth to talk. How much does Ondo presently contribute to SW economy? We all know Lagos is a power house not only in Nigeria but also in Africa. That is no news. And are we supposed to be defensive of that feat? We are proud of it just as we are proud of the industries in Ogun. But how critical is your so-called riches from Ondo to the survival of SW region. BTW Lagos matured to that level under Tinubu/APC who you so much loathe - so what exactly is your point or is Lagos not in SW? Is Lagos the only SW state in the stats I showed you? On one hand you admit Lagos is a powerhouse, on the other hand you despise the person/team that made Lagos what it is; and asking what would have happened to SW without Lagos - shame on you. I am sure you are one of the olodos that still think about oil money. leave the Oil for the SS. It is their resource and they can and should have all of it. But get this fact into your head, the oil money in Ondo cannot do much for SW economy - it is just an added bonus. Until you are able to prove that SW will really suffer without Ondo I don't think I should be discussing with a blocked head. As for the confab. Yes Tinubu/APC were initially against the confab because they knew well ahead that it was all a scam. and now even you too have confirmed it when you admitted the report is not perfect. But is the fact that Tinubu was initially against it the reason you said SW did not ask for regional autonomy? How does Tinubu trashing the report after the confab has long been completed amount to APC sabotaging the Yoruba regional autonomy agenda? You are even contradicting yourself - APC did not send delegate; Tinubu/APC sabotaged SW agenda. He must really be powerful to be able to sabotage/influence the confab even though he did not send delegate. |
They are still mourning the demise of their beloved party. Lots of wailing wailers still signing the condolence register. |
asha80:While this is not a thread for electric power problem, let me just chip in a word. I agree partially with the first half of your point. i.e any power generation plant should take care of the distribution area it was sited. BUT you still need a national grid to export excess power so other areas can tap from. It is not always economical for every area to generate its own electricity. It may also be necessary for an area with its own power plant to take power from other places - maybe due to natural disaster or something. So the electrical network should have some flexibility for such maneuvering. The transmission losses are minimal just that our network is just trash. Everywhere I have been to have a national grid. But again I completely agree with your first submission. |
ok |
scholes0:Very correct and on point |
looking through my crystal balls, I can see Jagaban, Iberu PinDiPi Tinubu as the sole concesus candidate of PDP ![]() |
. |
scholes0:Never mind the trolls. Unknowingly to them, they're help you keep this thread on the first page. That is why we need them once in a while. They post a silly comment trying to derail the thread or debunk a point - guess what happens, your thread flies back to number 1 on trending topic. We need them once in a while bros - especially that gender-confused Yoruba wannabe lol ![]() |
