Of course he owns it. Some people seff. Next we will hear is that former head of state Gowon owns the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in port harcourt. We should also not forget that the late Teslim owns the Telim Balogun stadium. Also recall that the dan anyiam stadium in Owerri is a property of the late Daniel Anyiam, just like Obafemi Awolowo owns OAU in ile-ife in addition to so many roads across the country. |
This man had a vision to establish the first news tv station in this country. But his dream went even further than that and now his station has consistently won the best tv staion award for 9 (or 10) years CONSECUTIVELY! Meanwhile, a certain Dokpesi also opened a tv station years before Channels came on air. But while the younger Channels TV is busy signing MOU with UK partner, thus expanding its viewers' base, AIT is busy playing kalokalo with the funds that was meant to equip our army. Well, what I know is if Mr John Mohmoh decides to approach the Nigerian stock exchange, I will definately buy handful of his shares. Meanwhile, I sincerely console those unfortunate shareholders that bought into the Daar shares and those that fell for the Daarsat pay tv scam. For the tribal bigots, this is not a tribal bash. Both Channels and AIT are from Edo state. Its just a case of one focuses on professionalism while the other on dirty politics. I hope Mr. John will bring to BON the same quality of leadership that makes channels my best TV station (followed by NTA, TVC, BBC, CNN Al jazeera in that order) |
FreeGlobe:Did you read the quote from The Guardian News paper? Let me repeat it again since you lack the ability to comprehend About seven years after its commencement, the first phase of the Abuja-Kaduna Standards Rail Gauge was commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari, with a pledge to ensuring that the country has a working rail system. The question I'll like to ask is if according to Pro GEJ newspaper (i.e The Guardian) the project commenced about 7yrs ago (i.e 2009), was GEJ in power in 2009? |
A number of people have rightfully corrected the OP. I will not go in that direction. I'd rather give a word of advise to the OP GEJ is GONE. NEVER to come back as Nigerian President again No amount of pictures taken just before commissioning can change that fact. You'd be better off to forget about GEJ and start shopping for a credible candidate towards 2019 - But I know its a mission impossible for PDP to fill any credible candidate. At least not the likes of the front runners like Alimodu Sherif. |
aresa: About seven years after its commencement, the first phase of the Abuja-Kaduna Standards Rail Gauge was commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari, with a pledge to ensuring that the country has a working rail system. The above quote is from The Guardian newspaper - where former media assistant to GEJ used to work (or has he even gone back to the company?). Say what you like, the fact is GEJ did not commissioned the project - PMB did. PMB gets all the credit, just like you lot were so quick to give credit to many project started by OBJ and Yar'adua. God Bless Amaechi, God Bless Buhari God Bless Nigeria |
SamMilla1:Can you tell me how many farm lands were destroyed and how many people were killed in the video? You lot just like spreading hatred everywhere. You think its ok for Igbos to do legitimate business in other peoples town and villages but it is a crime for others to go about their normal business in your towns and villages. Yes there may have been herdsmen that committed crime. But there are countless Igbos that have also committed worse crimes with fake drugs, car tyres and spare parts that have sent a lot of people to their graves. Should the rest of Nigeria say all Igbos shops be closed? If that is done, you lot will still come and cry victimization. At that time you would have forgotten that you sow the seed. |
SamMilla1:And don't your people also open shops in other peoples' villages and towns? Why do you think you have the right to open shops in Lagos, Kano and other parts of the country while other tribes don't have the right to do their own type of legitimate business in Igboland? |
After watching the short video, I can partially confirm (as I have always suspected) that some people will just start trouble where there is none. I did not see any farm; only bushes around the house. And the cattle did not even touch the bush let alone destroy anything. |
This whole trump episode would have been very funny - If only the office of the POTUS (the most powerful office on earth) is not what this is all about. Imagine a potential 1st lady of the POTUS blatantly plagiarizing a common speech. Even our own dear "na only you waka com" Mama-P delivered very true and original contents to our delights (and dismay). Its a real shame on GOP |
The wailers association keep saying PMB should just focus on the economy and leave this fight against corruption. I wonder if their is something they are scared of, or if their leaders have something to hide. Because they (i.e the wailers) fail to tell us how on earth will be economy be revived in an atmosphere as corrupt as this? When someone agrees to refund N1.3b, it mean that money has already been embezzled. Without the fight against corruption, this huge amount would have been lost forever. Omisore is from Osun state. The same wailers will come and blame a governor for not paying workers salary. Guess what, at the rate of N18,000 minimum wage, N1.3b will pay over 72,000 workers! I don't know if even the federal government workers are up to 72000 in number. Similarly, Olisa Methu's refund of N400m will pay the salaries of over 20000 workers. My point is the president is on point. We just simply cannot build any economy without the determined fight against corruption - especially now that revenue are at all time low. I voted for PMB just to implement a 2-point agenda i.e reduce corruption as much as possible and to eliminate insurgency. Every other thing (like economy, infrastructure etc) are just icing on the cake. Absolutely nothing can be built where these two reigns. So far, I'll score the president 70%. Insurgency/BH has been technically defeated but herdsmen rampaging and extra-judicious killing of preachers are just equally as bad as BH. At this rate, if the president continue with his anti corruption fight and step up the fight on crime, I will not only vote for him again in 2019 (with my 10 fingers ) I will also campaign and do my best to make sure my entire circle of friends, family and associates also vote for him. |
GOD FORBID!! Take note, the above is in all CAPS. Even if APC doesn't have a credible candidate, I'll rather vote for KOWA or NCP or any other party apart from the People Destruction Party |
shukuokukobambi:Thanks you for the piece of advice jare. It is well taken. I'll let him kontinu with his ingrish so I can enjoy my week end ![]() |
Rossikk:You're correct. But also, for our own peculier case, I'll rather build 10 - 1000MW stations across the country (where the raw materials for energy conversion exists) than the so called mega station with its consequences. |
sammydemperor:I find it fantastically annoying to say the least that in this day and age in 2016, someone is suggesting abolishing modular power generation scheme in favour of one mega station. In essence, we have to deal with the high risk of knocking us back to square one in case of vandalisation. Did you even think of maintanenance before making that suggestion? How about the trasnmission part of the chain? Are you suggesting we also spend time and money to build/expand transmission line for your so-called "something large to generate what can supply the entire country" You lots just like showing your hatred for PMB without thinkinh of the ignorance you are displaying on public forum |
sammydemperor:WHATTT!!! Are you kidding me?? Please tell me you are joking!! |
Well, maybe this will go some length at alleviating the disease of those asking for blueprint. They used to ignorantly allege that their was no economic team. It looks like the question that romances their fantasy is the blueprint. So maybe this will help them a little bit. |
hehehe ![]() Food don done for the association of wailers. So, now you people are not asking fo0lishly for the economic team again. The attention has now turned to economic blueprint. Can anyone remind us of the blue/yellow/pink/violet print of madam NOI? Under whose watch the FG reduced the budget of the entire ministry of works to N11b http://dailypost.ng/2015/03/10/ministry-of-works-2015-budget-slashed-to-n11billion/ And you're here saying the economic is in recession. Anyway, for those who are asking genuinely, here is a glimps of the plan of the Ministry of finance under Adeosun. ADEOSUN SETS OUT PLAN TO RESET NIGERIA’S ECONOMYAnd to those who just want this administration to fail; those who are ready to sink the ship with their fathers and mothers on board just to justify their hatred Buhari, you can continue making a fo0l of yourselves. We know that at although the FG may be short of cash, it has at least the bailed out stated owing several months of salaries induced by your hero. and the new FG under PMB is not borrowing money (externally) to pay salaries. “We have serious challenges. Things have been tough since the beginning of the year and they are likely to remain so till the end of the year,” said Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. |
OMG!! When did the N.Delta joined the group of empty chest beaters? This is so sad. I know for sure that day will come and pass and absolutely nothing will happen. |

God bless the Nigerian Army. Before we forget, in those days of ineffectual buffon and his thieving army chieves, the headline was like: EXCLUSIVE: Boko Haram sacks entire Nigerian Army battalion, confiscates all arms, ammunitionMay God bless the brave men on the frontline and may we NEVER see another ineffectual buffon again. |
And with all the so called group economics, the SW is still the destination of choice. How come the group economics hasn't made the SE so financially tempting for other regions to be doing pilgrimage there. Rather, its the other way round. Continue doing the group economic, just make sure you don't fail to pay tax to the state government. Otherwise kirikiri becons ![]() |
Hopefully, the ipobians will learn from BREXIT and coordinate themselves in an orderly and responsible manner. They should recall all their senators and Rep members and put the biafra decision to vote. May be ... just may be Buhari will also resign like David Cameron ![]() |
egbonnla:The question is, your hero that spent 6yrs in office, did Nigerians lived better when GEJ was leaving office compared to six yrs earlier? Now you are saying one year is enough to undo all the ills of past administration. Were Nigerians safer - BH is a lesson never to be repeated Were there fewer sack in the banks? Let me refresh your memory: Zenith Bank sacks over 1,200 employees Mass Sack At Diamond Bank |

haconjy:hehehehe see yoruba wannabe. Iye omo mo iye omo to bi |
Every now and then, you see a dundee united like the OP asking such an ignoramus question. What baffles me is that for some unexplainable reasons, even when someone has been thoroughly lashed and educated, another educated illiterate will still come and ask such ignoramus question. Mark my word, another product of gej university will soon come and ask this question in no distant future. https://www.nairaland.com/2680420/what-does-south-west-offer |
Amazondepth: ![]() Wow!! It is hypo crazy to be agitating for biafra and still be complaining of lack of representation in the Nigerian government - while at the same time defending the case against Ekwerumadu so as to keep him as the no2 man in the Nigerian legislature. Yeah, go ahead and call me a zombie. Just remember that you are still asking for help from other zombies as I have highlighted in your post. |
Aresa, It is obvious they are children of hate. Nothing you can do to cure them. The same hate that made T.A Orji to sack non-abians (Igbos inclusive) from civil service back in 2011 Let them continue with their bigotry while Lagos marches on to greater heights with her peaceful and accommodating policies. The last time I checked the IGR of Lagos is more than that of 31 states combined! |
TANTUMERGO007:You trusted your bbc source (UK), you didn't say anything about Lai when you opened the thread. I posted another reliable/trusted UK source. Now you can smell Lai. Would you rather have me post a link from ipob..br? ![]() ![]() |
erusen:What is this one talking about? Did you ask Americans if they get shame for still allowing 12yr old girls to be married off in 2016? Child marriage chart reveals girls can wed at 12 in some parts of the US - as lawmakers battle to raise age to 16
|
TANTUMERGO007:The Gambia president should thread carefully. While I understand and appreciate the need to stop child marriage, going to the extent of declaring a jail term of 20 years BEFORE the legislature even do their work is also not so good. He is threading close to dictatorship by unilaterally imposing a jail term while the topic has not been debated by the country's legislature. Oh BTW. This is not a tantalizing story for the islamophobs. Had it been the other way, they would have swamped on this thread like house flies feasting on faeces. |
SeverusSnape:Shame no dey even dey catch u? The same NA that was a ghost of itself under your hero. The same NA that BH used to chase to cameroon. How come the same NA didn't do well under your jesus of otueke? Take it or leave it, NA because a "fearless lion" because of the quality of leadership by PMB unlike the "toothless cat" gej and the gang turned our dear army into. May God continue to protect the brave men still in the fight and may the spirit of those in the who died needlessly because of corruption hunt gej, Dasuki and co ![]() |
) I will also campaign and do my best to make sure my entire circle of friends, family and associates also vote for him.
