zicomanie04:Just one day? Ok even if it is just one day, why not postpone it till Friday so we can have another extended weekend. What's the point of not working on Thursday, resume work on Friday and the proceed for weekend. That is just sick. Buhari should just add friday to it ![]() |
NOBODYY:So advising you to stop being silly and to use your head is now an insult even though you have still not answered the question: Why do you think a muslim will govern america using the Quran and not the american constitution? The point is not that seemingly unpalatable verses are not in the Quran, the question is why on earth will a supposedly educated person think an elected american president will govern the US using the quran and not the american constitution. BTW for every verse you qoute from the Quran, I have also quoted twice as much seemingly unpalatable verses from the bible in the past (both old and new testaments). But I have out-grown that silliness now. Because I now know any book can be quoted out of context. |
NOBODYY:Bros, pls use your head or at least pretend to use your head. Whoever that is elected will not rule by the holy book he/she believes in. Did bush/clinton and other past presidents ruled by the bible or any other holy book for that matter other than their constitution? There are far more crude verses in the bible than the ones you qouted. How many of those were used by the past presidents. Why do u think a muslim will rule america with Quran? |
Americas, whose lives are involved, whose vote are the ones that counts have criticized Carson. But sever thousand kilometers away in Nigeria, people whose votes are inconsequential, who have no iota of knowledge of american constitution are having diarrhea because this stup!d statement tickle their bigotry fancy. Here is a snapshot of the page where American citizens have made their opinion known: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10153110441612217&id=228735667216&refid=17

hmmm Idiocy at its peak. To the best of my knowledge, America is a free country. Which means if the majority decides to vote for a muslim, then carson can take a dive into the pacific. I just wonder how such an id!otic statement can come from the well-respected Carson. Whoever is elected will govern US by their constitution and not by the holy book of the president. Has the Christian Presidents turned america to a christian nation? Obama is a Christian (at least according to wiki), has he turned US to a Christian nation? Americans themselves have castigated Carson on facebook https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10153110441612217&id=228735667216&refid=17 and here we are Nigerians are still supporting the dumb as$ that want to rule the seat of freedm/democracy. And Why must everything be sensationalised? As at the last time I checked, their was no muslim candidate. So why the comment? The injustices don't to humanity in the name of islamophobia is just sickening. The other time christian worshipers were shot dead in their church by a white man and the world just looked away as if it was normal. We are talking about people worshiping peacefully in their church!! The terrorist title that was initially attached the the Oslo shooting was suddenly changed to MAD MAN when the perpetrator turned out to be a White Breivik. One would have expected the same amount of global outrage that greeted the Charlie shooting. If a muslim or a black had been involved in either or both cases, it probably would let to another round of war on terror. |
tonychristopher:You see yourself? Tell us what is the percentage of people practising islam in these countries with the highest homicide rate: El Salvador, Honduras, Brazil, Mexico, Johannesburg, Russia. A simple search for homicide rate on google or wikipedia will educate you |
The military (especially the army) are our only hope of defeating BH. Without a strong military personnels/tactic/equipment/ (backed up by economic/social logistics) it will be virtually impossible to win the war. This write up is obviously from an anti PMB propagandist. We are all living witnesses of how BH USED to chase our soldiers, capture army bases and seize their weapons. BH once controlled a sizable portion of Nigerian territory at some point. The story has CHANGED SIGNIFICANTLY! BH has now gone into the hit-n-run typical style of terrorist operation around the world compared to head-on confrontation with the NA a few months ago. We used to hear of BH going to schools and staying for hours killing innocent children. We heard of BH kidnapping over 200 girls. How easy do you think they can do that now (i.e moving hundreds of captives in lorries without being confronted). Anybody that expect BH to be wiped out within this short time just being mischievous to say to say the least. That being said, their is still A LOT OF ROOMS FOR IMPROVEMENT. I blamed the previous administration for not blocking the source of finance to BH. That is still not done. I believe war is expensive and without money for BH to pay for weapons, replenishment of artillery and logistics, the battle will be easier for our brave soldiers. I expect some of their financiers and logistic providers to be cooling off in prison now. Although some of BH supply route have been identified and blocked and grass-root logistic providers arrested (a significant improvement from the past administration incompetence), it is still not enough. The big ogas at the top need to be in maximum prison. I believe shekau reports to some "big men". These are the main people that should be in prison at least. In all, BH is obviously still a major treat to lives and properties, but to say BH is still as strong as ever is just plain stu!pd or at least mischievous. |
phyllosilicate:Very hypocritical. Especially after making the kind stup!d statement below that serve the purpose of spreading hatred and brew violent against his own people just because some dare to choose another faith. This is obviously not what Christ preached. But to his bigoted followers, he is their messiah. How I wish those he is with in Kuwait can read his stand on their faith. “Every Eze that is a Muslim must be hounded out. They must leave our land. If they do not leave our land, they will be killed. They must leave our land and go to the North to stay.” |
NgeneUkwenu:Time is precious. World learders only listen to people who will deliver value for the time spent on listening. I too value my time. That is why I preferred to watch premier league or champions league match instead of listening to one fedora hat wearing former president. Who will not make out time to listen to PMB? When we know he will deliver value. I won't miss his speech/interview for anything. Not even an el classico champions league final |
Zoharariel:All of them i.e "3 wise men" on the left in the picture may all be right and at the same time, they may all be wrong! Reminds me of the story of 7 blind dwarfs that touched different body-part of an elephant and each one called it different names based on what he touched. They were all wrong individually, but at the same time they were all correct collectively. But then, I don't believe God is an elephant - so don't take my example seriously. |
I am not in any way concerned about US election and definately not a fan of Trump. But how do you know this is not photoshop? A link would have given your post more credibility. |
I don't believe that much of conspiracy theories. But I studied physics in secondary school. And the collapse of the building just don't tally with physics and engineering basic principles. You have a tall structure with a high center of gravity. If the structure is struck near the top as in the case of WTOs, their is no reason under the sun (considering basic physics and engineering principles) why the building should collapse completely into its footprint. At best, part of it will collapse in the direction where the build's structural balance has been compromised. I don't know if explosives are used. That is left for the expert to prove. But a plane colliding with a tall building near the top should not and cannot make the entire building collapse COMPLETELY and SYMMETRICALLY into its footprint. As for building 7 which was never hit by a plane, I am tempted to say the shock wave of the previously collapse buildings might have affected the foundation and could (although far fetched) have caused the collapse. One can also argue how come the shockwave didn't affect other buildings in the area? Apart from that explanation, it has to be a spiritual force that brought down building 7 if explosives are to be ruled out. All these theories don't even pain/concerns me. The one that baffles me is the fact that Americans themselves who lost loved ones are open to the possibility that it may be an "inside job" while our brothers and sisters here in naija are so sure that the terrorists could not have been aided by insiders. |

Mogidi:Can you see why Tinubu will always be ahead of the pack in politics? Tinubu went to a respected media house I.e thisday newspaper while sarai went to anonymous sociamedia site I.e Facebook which can be easily denied. Tell me who is more businesslike and who among the two looks more serious. This is a serious national issue. We are talking about the number 3 citizen here and the best place to make statement is on Facebook - common!!! |
Religion intolerance has always been in Nigeria. But PDP and the drunkard fisherman that wanted to hang on to power by all means (even though he had nothing to show) thought the best thing to do was to hammer on the fragile religious fault-line in the country. GEJ and PDP really took Nigeria back to the stone ages (forget the BH terrorists - there have always been ragheads like that in the country without things getting to that level). That 1d!ot called FFK came and said 80% of APC governors are muslims - I mean what was he trying to achieve? Is it not to instigate islamophobia? Southwest that has never really cared about the religion of the governors suddenly started asking choosing governors based on religion. Imagine someone asking what faith does Gov. Ambode belong to when he won the APC primaries in election. T The religious divide/intollerance (and by extension islamophobia) has never that pronounced in the country until the last set of PDP executhieves came to power. This is the greatest disservice in opinion and I can't thank God enough that PDP/GEJ were voted out. The "mind-reconditioning" and reconsiliation will begin after a while. |
BishopMagic:Whether Falana is selected or not has nothing to do with PYO taking over in the UNLIKELY event that anything happens to PMB. PYO is the vice president, he doesn't need any political maneuvering to take over if anything happens. The last time Aondoaka tried that nonesense, we all knew what happened. |
First, I doubt most news coming from anonymous blog sites But if this is true, the solution is simple now! just give the guy food laced with slow-acting poison. The type that will start working after one week!. This is what the Russian are good at. But only agree that the IED expert will be released at the SAME time the girls are also release. so their won't be any smart move by bh |
erinolu:Stop displaying your ignorance in public. The guy has tried his best to educate you by giving you a link (written, not by any Islamic or Arabic scholar but by an American) but you still refuse to read. I suggest you read the link then come back and edit your post. |
Not funny at all. When will this nonsense stop? ![]() nairaland and people pretending to be from other tribess |
Dharniel:Now that makes sense. Basically, the first 6 chats shows the declining trend of major exchanges around the world for the past 6 months. (i.e South Africa, Brazil, canada, Australia and China). So people people trying despirately in their failed bid to bash PMB on economy stylishly ignore the facts that the world is partially experiencing another global melt-down. jaybee3:Your ignorance obviously knows no bounds. It did not occur to you that their is a common outcome to all the countries shown irrespective of whatever it is weighted against. Many countries around the workd are experiencing another meltdown albeit not as bitting as that of 2007/2008. Even canada that has superior economy is feeling the effect. Just keep f0oling yourself. |
Dharniel:No amount of words can be used to make it clear to you if this is not self-explanatory enough. |

Forgive the lack of words in this thread. It is due to two things: First is that I am not an economist and second is that they say a picture says more than a thousand words. Many wailers have been having a feast on the supposed poor performance of PMB on the economy. But they refuse to put it in perspective relatively. Either because of pure mischief or stack ignorance (typical of saTANoids). Two main point they hang on to is that Nigerian investors have lost billions in investment and that the naira is on a free fall https://www.nairaland.com/2590889/see-what-happening-nigerias-economy Well, I have not much to say but just to share these charts. However, suffices to say that stock markets around the world (EVEN CANADA and Australia) are not having a good run at the moment. Just take a look at the 6-month chart for the various countries. And of course, the pictures for the historical exchange rate for naira speak for itself.

Wanice:What about glo and airtel? This is my stand on a similar thread gists: |
I am waiting for MTN to come and collect their sim card. As far as I am concerned, I have registered my sim card Looooonnnnng ago. If my memory serves me right, I even re-registered when I recovered my line due to loss of phone. So MTN is just joking with their silly sms message asking me to come repeat the exercise. The last time I checked, there are 4 operators in this country. I'm sure the others will be happy to have me as customer. And I don't bother with this crazy issue of a line that people have known you with for a while. Truth is if your family, friends and associates truly care about you, they will get your new number. To make things better, people can ALEWAYS connect with me on social media i.e facebook, twitter, linkedin, skype etc. So I have no fear. Besides, when I travel out of the country, I certainly don't go with my local lines and I never stay out of touch. So my dear MTN, what are you waiting for? Come and collect your sim card. |
I gave up on madam https://www.nairaland.com/1870473/el-rufai-calls-marilyn-ogar-liar |
well, I think the reason is not far fetched. If the news is good, then it is somehow expected and does not generate much passion/energy/excitement. Because "their is nothing to correct" But if it is bad, we are outraged and a lot of passion go along with it. You see people expending energy trying to correct the bad situation. So typically, bad news sells. Its good for media. Imagine how many newspaper will sell if the headline is some real treat from aliens. Conversely, imagine how broke newshouses will be if they only carry child births ![]() |
The problem I have with blood money is even if I use 20 people make blood money, I still will not be as rich as Ronaldo. Stup1d!ty is what lead people into such acts |
What is disturbing about the news? People cross-carpet every freaking minute around the world. |
sonOfLucifer:By that comment, you just proved you are a true son of lucifer |
