Come what's happening to Bolt, you block a driver and ask him to go for training yet your page is not opening.

Who is experiencing the same thing here pls abi na Soni don loose form reachhuh Since yesterday the page has refused to open

After clicking on the link on the first page 2nd page has refused to load since yesterday

Who can help

This Indriver, seems bidding is not allowed again ooh... Once you bid you won't be picked no matter how close you're to the rider... It's tiring

How una take dey carry am pass.
Bidding on indrive is not generally advisable as a driver.
Indrive passengers are now wised up, they are understanding the app rapidly, so, they will continue to reject higher biddings to what they (riders) are proposing.
Biddings could only work at late night, and all of us should know why.
When I see a ride that the fare has obviously been tampered with and passenger bids low for it, I ignore while chilling where I parked.
There is no way you will not get good order where you are parked, no matter how long you've been waiting.
A driver who's bidding for rides will get frustrated cos it will continuously be declined, cos other drivers are rushing the fare like flies.
I no dey even bother myself on indrive or do fastest finger stuff, my ride will come for sure and it will be easy and peaceful.
If I see order with low fare and long distance destination, I would rather pick it and accept it like that than bidding, and that depends on where I am located at that moment.
As a boss wey you be, abeg dey use indrive. You will see the difference.
Maybe na because me I still dey have that feeling of a newbie sha, cos I was not making huge gross during my bolt time, that's why I'm contented with what I've been making on indrive.
Imagine someone wey dey gross 50k-60k on bolt on full day work, make he/she come settle for 35k gross on full day work on indrive, him go dey pissed off like what is this 35k gross for?
But we wey we no like wahala, we are okay with 25k gross (18k net), 30k gross (22k net), 35k gross (26k net) on indrive on full day work.
Na so I see am, boss.
Indrive makes sense, if na the bidding wey dey make you disregard indrive, abeg no dey do bidding again.
Just a daily target is the way to run indrive.
Cos as people dey crave for this bolt still dey surprise me, I no go lie. Cos na this same indrive I don dey use for almost 3 months without bolt and I'm not having any regret at all.
It is well sha.
Much respect, boss.

However, this last Sunday was my highest earning on indrive (38k+) with 4k offline trip.
Yesterday which was on Monday, I made 18.8k on the app and made 7k offline first thing in the morning. Check the time I did my 1st trip and my last trip. I just went home straight after the last trip cos I no too like Monday hustle.
I have introduced indrive to some of my padis and I'm giving dem the scope to run indrive peacefully (courtesy of all of Una bosses here).

It was that same Sunday that a trip took me there. una see how God works? cheesy
I just called him and thank God his number went through immediately. He appreciated it cos he was surprised I brought the stuff after over a month. Na so I zoomed of with a sweet order back to mainland. This past Sunday sweet well well. grin cool

If you are about to be blocked or blocked on Bolt and you are new on Indriver, and you are kind of overwhelmed by the price and all.

My advice is.

1. Calm down, have your own modus operandi and stick to it.
You must have areas where you are going to and areas you are not interested in. You don't need to bid for all rides.

Personally I don't go beyond V. I., worst case, phase 1 all that Chevron, vgc side Ajah and Co, is just laden with unnecessary traffic.

On the mainland, I can be shuttling within Maryland, Ogba, ikeja, Yaba and Unilag axis. and I still get to match up with someone who suffered to go to Ajah.
On Saturday, I didn't go beyond Yaba, bounced and skipped Island trips like kilode, and what I made on Indriver was quite substantial,... I mean very substantial, Funny thing is when I was going home, I wasn't tired, because I made sure I avoided trips that will keep me in traffic.

2. Positioning, this is one of the trade secrets, there are areas where trips are a sure banker.

3. Mental maths. Km vs time. You need to be able to cross match these two variables. In just 3 trips of around 5km each, you can hit more than someone that runs a long trip to the island under the same time.
Number 2 on point.
Positioning is very important.
As a driver, you should have positioning points all of the state.
On mainland, every angle, I have positioning points.
Na island I like pass, when it comes to positioning. I have positioning points at VI/Ikoyi/lekki phase 1 and 2/Ajah, etc. I get special positioning spots more on VI and lekki phase 1 and it's always peaceful.
Anywhere on the mainland, I get positioning angles and parking places like mad.
All drivers should have/get their positioning angles marked.
Much respect, boss.

Okay, so I have to put this here. I dropped car with partner since Saturday after the whole task force saga at Festac. He asked me to bring the car over that night. We discussed on phone, and he said he's terminated the agreement. (I just let it go because I don't like stress and the car gave issues. I don't know what God is saving me from as I was still within the confines of our agreement).

I had a slight accident with the car last Thursday (I didn't put that here earlier) car brakes were bad and I had to stop but it wasn't working properly so I hit a jeep that stopped suddenly in front of me cos someone ran across the road. I hit brakes but it wasn't sharp enough. Bonnet was bent, so I took car to panel beater and had them straighten the bonnet than fixed the brakes, bought another master cylinder. The whole thing cost me about 48k. AC also stopped working and I asked a rewire to check, he found some worked wires around the brain box, and in the process of opening that area, he mistakenly removed a wire they tied somewhere, previous rewire didn't tape it. After that car refuse to start no supply of fuel from fuel pump. All of that was on a Friday.

Left the car there and went back on Saturday then rewire began to trace, he got the car working again by working his own stuff in the fuse box and started checking AC too, said one wire around the brain box was also not supplying so he bypassed it and worked it out around the fuse box, so AC was working too. I was still thinking later I'll take the car there for him to return everything back to factory settings. Started work around 1pm that last Saturday, by past 5pm when Lastma held me, I had grossed 9800.

I called partner to help out with funds for taskforce that I will refund him. He gave 30k and asked me to sort the rest but I have to take the car to his house. I returned the car and when he came back he said I used the car roughly, I tried explaining that the brakes were bad and the accident was because of the brakes. He said he used it for two weeks before giving it to me, that it was manageable. Well brakes got worse as I kept using. In all, he took back his car. As I am like this I don't even have strength to search for car at the moment.

Felicity told me though, (I had signed the agreement before we discussed) he's got insight. I took a bad car and a bad car is bad for the business.

I'm still paying back some 5ks and 10ks I borrowed though. In all, we move!
Chai! Inside life. I just dey read pages where I left it, na so I jam this your comment.
Nawa oooh. What a bad deal mehn.
Thank God e never reach the serious stage where you would have got hooked in the middle.
A bad car is a bad experience in this hustle oh.
Abeg na peace of mind be the koko oh, make u just relax and sort the pending debts and recover before you start looking out again.
The worst experience is when one falls in the hand of a wrong/bad car, person go regret ever laying his hands on such item.

Hmmm... I was not even been able to come on this thread for more than twice last week.

Last week was my first week driving and it was full of events, learning and adjustments.

I had car issues (my car is not a Tokunbo car) so I spent a large portion of time at the mechanic's place. Car is in good condition now. I also had several bashes in traffic because of my brakes. Brakes are in perfect condition now.

Last Monday, I used rida app because my bolt and Indriver were not yet active. That rida, their prices are too cheap. And pickup distances are too far. Imagine driving 1hr 30mins to pickup a 10mins trip and the app won't tell you 1hr 30mins to pick up it will tell you 10mins. It's when you open the map you will know. At like Ikeja are still better but still, it's shitty app, I had to ditch the it.

Tuesday I drove to bolt office at Lekki to rectify my bolt account. It was as if they won't open the account.

I found a way on Wednesday. Drove to VI and did short short trips. At a point, around 8pm I was tired and hungry, somehow, I had been doing card trips so no cash. I parked the car on Muri Okunola street. Trekked and look for GTB withdrew and ate indomie. Trekked back, was still tired feeling sleepy. I started the car it won't start. I just slept in it overnight. The next morning I discovered I had transmission on D not P after I turned off the engine, I put it on P and started engine, it responded at once. My tired was really tired the previous day.

Thursday and Friday, I didn't work. Car was at the mechanic's to fix brakes and some others. I was with them till late at night on the two days.

Yesterday, Saturday was when I now really drove but I got arrested by taskforce at Festac.

Left mechanic's shop around 1pm to start hustle.

First ride took me from Ojodu to Surulere, did many short trips within Surulere and then a trip to Festac.

Had to cough out 50k to have the car released at night. I had already made about 10k between 1pm when I left the mechanic's shop and around 5pm when I was arrested for using one way (ABC Transport Road on Festac) I didn't know that road was one way. ( Me that I've said I won't go on any trip that takes me to Festac. My plan was to drop the riders, go offline and find my way out of there ASAP)

I've realised nothing is in that Festac for me. Na wahala full there.

My partner paid 30k of it. I raised the rest. One Danfo bashed me again at obalende yesterday night.

For me, I see it as paying my dues on the road. I will continue and payback all the money I owe. I strictly need to limit the areas I visit to areas I'm familiar with. In all, I thank God.

I don't think there's anyone here doing the hustle that hasn't faced LASTMA or Taskforce. It's part of the Job.
Inside life.
50k gone for taking one way? No be small.
The only one time I took one-way, which was a funny one at oshodi, as other defaulters were bailing themselves with huge amount of money, na 10k I paid las las, when I no let those uniform men rest.
After then, I never smelt one way. There's almost no one way I don't know, or lemme say I won't quickly notice on mainland + island self. Always use your map to navigate to any location till you get all familiar with the roads.
Those festac uniform men are wicked. Just avoid that axis completely, abeg. Festac wey no even get good exiting road self.
That's why indriver is my best choice. Nowhere on mainland I no know the road conditions, so you're free to choose where you want to go and don't run a fastest finger race.
Though bolt built me, but thanks to indriver, my favourite.
Make indrive quickly get your account active. Indrive doesn't really take long to activate one's account.
Wetin pain me here na the 50k wey those men collected from you.
Any one-way victim (drivers) follow those men dem yarn with confidence, 20k go bail you for it, no matter what.
And be like say u dey wake up too early, na wetin fit dey cause tiredness be that. Me I dey wake up sometimes 8am/9am, start hustling by 9am/10 am and I don enter house before 10pm for night.
All the best, baba.

So Uber X was previously huh ₦82 per km, always wondered why their fares are really low like that.
Uber is still waking up, normal trips on Indriver hovers around ₦140/km, if we begin to negotiate, sometimes it hits above ₦180/km.
Sometimes I hit ₦350/km, short trips mode.

There is nothing sane about Uber, if I have to go through stress to make money on your platform, then it's not worth it.
On Indriver, the work just seems too easy,

- I know where I'm heading to before I start, Uber is the ONLY app devoid of this feature in Nigeria. How can you be a leader when you can't constantly improve on your app? Too rigid, too much bureaucracy, what's so special about destination?

-I have my biased profiling of my rider (from the number of rides and ratings, low ratings (less than 4.5)coupled with few trips means such riders frequently tamper with the fares).

-No stupid short trips of ₦600-800 with 3km pick ups, the lowest fare I have ever taken on Indriver for a short trip is ₦1000. I mean really short trips.

-No long pick ups to fulfill short trip orders. How can you drive 4-5 km to pick up, then engage on a trip of 3-4km? Makes no business sensehuh Who pays for the fuel used in blowing down for the pick up?

-No unnecessary stops without adequate compensation, e. g parking to buy things and leaving the car running

-More rest.
Both Uber and Bolt, Indrive beats them hands down.
Na only 2 things I want make indrive do on their app, then it will be a no contest at all.
Even as at today, Uber and Bolt no near indrive.
However, I don't pick any order that is less than 1.7k. I no wan know how short the distance to destination is.

Finally people, I have a car for the hustle. (A Camry 2005)
My partner is also on this platform but I think he likes to be anonymous and I'll leave it that way.

Anyways it feels good to finally realise this but there are lots of tasks ahead. What may seem impossible, actually is possible with God.

I should have gone for inspection by now if not for some bike men that rammed the car from the back, dented the bumper and broke the left rear light.

I was just driving o jeje with my partner in the vehicle with me when one bike just faced one way while overtaking with speed. I had to slam the brakes so I won't kill him. If I hadn't, God knows what we'll be saying today, at that, like four bikes that were very close hit the car from behind damaging the left rear light and causing a serious damage to the paint on the bumper and the guy that caused it ran away.

My partner had to even had to buy bumper for one stupid bikeman like that who won't let us go. I should have activated hoodlum mode but I just weak that afternoon.

I bought the rear light yestetday, (quite expensive but I had help from a good Samaritan) it's fixed then remains the painting of bumper. Thought I'd be able to do that today but all of them are saying tomorrow morning, so tomorrow Monday morning, I believe I will do it and then go for inspection.

Someone said 25k lol. One painter at Festac said 7k last. But Omo, I no get money. I just hope I'd get someone to do it at say 5k tomorrow at first gate Agidingbi. One guy already said I should bring it but we never talk price.

I would have switched to Indriver but they won't accept a temporary license (I've been processing my license for almost a year now.) Took JTB form thrice now, 3 months each and the license is not yet out still processing. Bolt had been my saving grace. But I don't know if any one knows what I can do to get on Indriver with my temporary license. I don't want to stick to bolt alone. Anything can happen.

I want to thank and appreciate people who advised me, loaned me money, who were available at every time I needed someone to talk to:

FELICITY
GLITHRONIX
LUSH 100

Las las. That's just one thing about this thread, of you're consistent and contributing, and at the same time, seeking for a car, if you don't give up, you would get it here. The plus is that you already have a very good knowledge about cars and you're sharing it here. cheesy
I'm so happy for you, boss. cheesy
Btw, for your partner to buy a complete bumper, it means the damage on the bumper was very much and had to buy a replacement for rear light too, omoh, about 70k fit don go on both part oh - chai! So sorry about that.
Painting a complete bumper should not be more than 7k (good as you already got one for that price).
However, na drivers license go 4ck you up oh. Omoh, you need to put muscle on your DL, boss. Why taking that long?
When I did mine then, I think it took just 6 weeks before I could get it. Abeg try and put in more work to get your DL, cos if your temporary DL got expired, no other option to use Bolt/Indriver oh, even you no go fit cruise-drive with an expired TDL.
And bolt free trial no go pass 1 week, abi? The reason why you need to do the painting on the bumper as quickly as possible so that you go take am go for bolt inspections.
Requirements for indriver no plenty like bolt, na your driver's license remain as I dey see am.
And please always be at alert when driving in this Lagos, even trucks fit follow one-way for night self grin na you go dey always shine your eyes ooh, Lagos is totally mad and everybody is mad including me. grin grin grin

Lost of memory due to overdose of marijuana, scunte and other hard drugs.

You leave an item on my car? I'm never lifting a finger to make any contact, neither I'm returning any item without a double charge. How do I know you're the real owner if you don't initiate a contact?

The last time I return some pairs of "shakomendes" glasses all I got was it took you days returning it, not even thank you.

Forget your item and don't make a contact? I dash it out if I don't have a need for it.

Simple
Your hoodlumism is on the highest leverl - the highest in the room. grin
But seriously, your own way no bad at all.
Imagine, me and the brotherman agreed to meet at my area yesterday (Sunday) to receive the item - you no go believe; I call him number tire, not reachable. I sent him text message, him no respond till this very moment. grin
Las las, na dispatch rider him go send to come pick the stuff. I ain't calling/texting him again. sad

If you're a user of indriver as a passenger, stop standing on/by the roadside and order for a ride.
Stop standing at bus stop, garage, car/bus park, under bridge, etc.
I wonder how driver pick this kind of ride, cos e sure for me say you go have small/medium/big issue spotting the rider, or meeting him/her.
I've seen many orders that the PUP would be Ikeja Under bridge, CMS, Obalende Roundabout, Arena market, oshodi under bridge, Mile 12 under bridge, ketu bus stop, and many bus stops like that, and some drivers dey pick such. huh
As an experienced driver, you should know that you will have issues picking riders at these locations, cos you can't park anyhow there, waiting for a rider.
I always see some riders as childish, cos they don't know how to drive, they don't know anything about driving a vehicle, especially in Lagos. They would just stand for one bus stop with plenty people there and they will order a ride.
Even, I dey ignore order that the PUP is ICM.
What happens to finding a got spot with easy landmark or a shop, kiosk, canteen, fast food joint, supermarket, a mall, a bar around where you are, or any place you know that a driver can easily locate you or wait for you if you might delay?
Don't they know what Lagos road is saying? You can't wait anyhow or park anyhow, else you fit fall victim that will cost you bailing yourself and your car out.
I've passenger mode of indriver and bolt and I use them once in a while, and before I order for a ride, I find a very secure location and stand or sit then order for a ride, I make myself more visible and identifiable with a good landmark to the drivers. I make myself available cos I know what is right, but some of these riders are just so ignorant and dull, they only know to order. All drivers should be educating their riders abeg.
They need to be educated and enlightened.
I've picked foreigners and the difference is just too much mehn, our people here need to be seriously educated and enlightened.
Majority of these e-hailing app users as passengers don't know anything, they need to be educated seriously.
This is not applicable to those who order for rides at home, office, or anywhere that's a house inside a street, so far say where you are ordering from is a building with number, street name - address.

Barbiturate:
I was at onipanu when this girl ordered a ride from Yaba, on Indriver.. Got there before the time elapsed. Called her 7 times she didn't pick. There was also no place to park at the PU. I moved to the other side to find a place to park. Called her again, she didn't pick. I tried to cancel but Indriver said I've moved from PU. I just left it like that and started using bolt. Its bn like that since afternoon.
That's very annoying. sad
Avoid picking any order that the PUP shows garage, bus stop, car/bus park, terminal, roundabout, and airport.
Also, avoid any order that the price is less than 1.7k. Even if the order PUP shows 2 mins and destination shows 7mins @1.5k, abeg ignore it. If you pick it and expect yourself to make 1.5k within 10mins, you're OYO. You go regret ever taking that order (95% true).
Also, do not drive off the spot you clicked "I've arrived"- you click arrive and you drive like 50m distance off the spot, it will be counted as on the move already, especially if you have waited for a couple of mins already, don't drive off, don't navigate to destination.
To cancel successfully, drive back to the spot you clicked " I've arrived" or you stay at that spot the cancel with "passenger did not show".
Some riders are very annoying and devilish. Some, you will call the number on their profile and it will be unreachable and they will click "I'm coming", na girls dey always do this rabbish, but still, I feel more comfortable talking female rides than male passengers.
Una see my life? huh
Much respect, boss.
