The new update on bolt app has disabled the call rider inapp, that's if you've updated your app.
This is telling us that bolt doesn't encourage phone calls while driving which is safety measure.
You call rider on phone directly, it's your measure. I think that's what they did.
Some riders no get joy. Once you accept their orders like this, na phone call you go receive in 1 second.
I've got another phone now, my main phone number which I registered on bolt is on the second phone while my other line is in the phone that I have bolt app on. If I accept your order and you call, I just pick the other phone and put it on outside speaker without any distraction whatsoever.

These days I start and close my week from 4/5pm Friday till Sunday night marathon. Mondays till Friday are for offline and other business. Some times I enter house 2/3am continue on Saturday around 12noon or 1pm till 12/1am then Sundays I wait till after church.closes... there are the peak period of the job.for the now till December when every time of the days is a banger.

This hustle no be by chasing bonus up and down... Use your head and remember you're not an employee you only get 20% of what you earn either as an owner, a renter, or a partner.

My plan na to get HP somewhere (whether Nigerian used or Toks) and pay up within 15-18 months and stop driving after that cos I know I would have saved enough to do my business while I'm also a car owner.

Btw, omoh, yesterday traffic at lekki epe express way going to ikate - Igbo efón mad. Spent like 25mins inside traffic.
As I dropped the riders at on Adebisi Oyenola street which completed my 12 trips to win 2.6k bonus yesterday, na so I went offline, zoom to mainland straight like around 6pm. Spent over 50mins. As I landed on mainland, ogudu precisely, na so I switched online and my 1st trip on mainland took me to Shomolu.
Mainland hustle dey vex me. I hate this Shomolu-bariga axis. Na one of the forbidden areas on my list.
After dropping the rider, I went offline and I drove empty to Maryland. Switched back online and the next order took me to Oshodi. Omoh, I hate driving these areas when it's dark.
I dropped rider and went offline straight. Drove back to Maryland, went online and another trip took me to Shomolu again.

And there is no traffic, no Lastma or LG touts, riders are quick and ready to go.
And also in the night surge and no traffic cos (ikr, mowe $ abule egba drivers would have gone home to sleep)
You will burn more fuel and energy driving in traffic during day without surge.

However midnight and early morning driving is very risky, if boys grab you for corner... rest Na history.

I no kuku dey stay late outside, na that traffic wey hold me on Kudirat Adenekan street yesterday night caused make I reach house 10:30pm. I turned back like 20 minutes to 9pm after dropping the riders on that street.
Boss, I no fit enter road if 8am no knack ooh. You see this early momo hustling, I no like am at all. If 8am no knack, I no dey go out. Sometimes, I set out 9am-10am-11am. And max closing time for me na 10pm, I don reach house.

I didn't spend much time on island yesterday, cos I mistakenly accepted an order that took me to Surulere which I had to remain on mainland till I closed.
It was a flow traffic (majoly traffic lights effect) while I was at lekki yesterday and some areas with no traffic at all.
I didn't encounter a single traffic when I was transporting the rider who brought me down to Surulere.

I for hit 40k today but I made a mistake accepting an order from lekki to Surulere. When the order came in, I don click accept before I checked destination.
When I dropped the rider at Surulere, I now put lekki phase 1 on G-map make I calculate how long e go take me to get back on the island - na so I see 54 mins. Ahhh!
Na so I give up and stayed on mainland throughout.
I got a trip to Asolo Ikorodu, blew empty back to Ikosi. I got trips to some forbidden areas today that I had to drive empty back to sane areas. Na wetin short my gross today be that.
My last trip today was from Town planning under bridge to kudirat Adenekan, Isolo. Come see traffic and crazy driving - come see those keke napep guys as dem dey drive mad, everybody just mad this night.
Omoh, my riders self had to beg say make we end the trip and I agreed without hesitation - I was even thanking God say they asked for it - when I was looking at traffic ahead 40mins + omoh, we ended trip came out with 2.6k. To come out of that place reach Osolo way na war - Lagos is forcked meehn.

When I started new, I used to start driving from 5:30am - 6am, but I swear, it didn't work with me. Na when I started understanding the work I stopped this early momo work. Now, my start of work begins from 8am.
Sometimes, I start driving 11am - 12noon and I will gross my target.
I salute una wey dey drive from this 5am - 6am ooh.

What I will advise rookies like me be say, if you dey chase daily bonus, abeg no start driving late. Start driving early in the morning maybe by 7-8 am to ensure you quickly meet the bonus requirement.
Bolt use night driving to punish stubborn drivers cos they know say night hustle no fit dey easy like during. I've noticed them during my night driving.
But it's all good sha.
My own issue with bolt still remains their commission. Make dem bring that thing down. But I am not sure they would wanna do that.
