peeps4u: Whatver remains of that amount will be paid to your acct on the next payment day.
NOTE: Dont expect exactly this amount to be paid into your acct. Bolt will continue to take their commission from this amount for every cast trip you make till the next payment day.
You can only get this amount or higher paid into your acct if you get more of card trips whose fares will be added to this
Hope you dig? When is the next payment day, boss? |

Felicity0001: Riders can't see the fare on their phone until you complete the ride.
For sake of next time @ Glithronix don't be in a hurry to complete your rider for any reason.
Just end it and let the rider step out of your car b4 completing it.
Another reason for this is so you don't get intimidated to rate the rider since they're seeing you.
And don't always be in a hurry to leave after finishing a ride. Take some time to look at the car to see if rider left any item or if you need to clean up b4 you move onto the next ride. Unless you're in places like marina rd, or along a major road where law enforcement agents might be a treat to you, yet don't complete the ride just end it, collect your money, let the rider make payment 200m or 100m away from their destination then let them quickly get down. Move to a save place b4 completing the ride.
Even atbthe airport you can still wait to check if or dust your foot mat b4 driving away from the drop off zone the only thing you can't do is pick up at that point. Much respect, boss. All noted, sir. |

obinoral1179: that street is one way now beside the filling stations. There's no filling station there, boss. And my agitation there was that, how dem go cut banner in circular form and paste it on one pole like that? The pole looked like something else was there but these police go cut banner and paste it on the pole plate with one way symbol where you no go notice am. Like that's not enough, they were charging offenders 15k - 20k, me na 10k I paid. And their oga was collecting the money from the offenders openly on the street, dem no hide am at all. YeyeGbami: Can you describe the street, cos lately am hearing about one nonsense one way around that mafoluku side. Funny enough, I got a request and the rider was at a hotel opposite the police station. God is indeed wonderful - the name of the street where the police station dey na Akinpelu street. When you come out of that Akinpelu street and stand at the entrance of the street, the street next to it on the right hand side, that's where they mountes the illegal one-way banner. Can't remember exactly the name of the street, would have checked but my rider's direction took the left, while the street in on the right hand side. Much respect, boss. |

73O9: You are wrong with your assertion.
Keep your eyes open for signs while driving and you shall pay no one. Your experience with driving in lagos will also determine how you pay.
Many of the drivers never had experience driving on lagos before taking up uber driving hence why a lot of you would say you must pay fines.
I haven't paid anyone since 2018 I have been driving on the platforms. Boss, my experience yesterday has opened my eyes oooh, I agree that commercial driving in Lagos - I'm new to it - cos ma request carried me go that side. Like today I was driving a rider to somewhere around apapa, I drove reach a Y junction and with those police men standing with their pick up, na so I was scanning for the one-way signs, as I no see, I just brake say I no dey enter anywhere today, cos those police looked like they were waiting for us to enter their trap, as dem see say I no gree enter any of the road, dey just waved me a hand to drive pass the left that I can go. Since yesterday like this, my eyes don open, the way I dey scan places, you will think I'm a cyborg. I knew I would enter one trap sha ni, but thank God it wasn't serious. But truth be said, those police intentionally placed that's one-way sign in a hidden spot, cos many cars were arrested and why were dey charging 20k-15k? When we know the real one-way penalty. Well, I learned my lesson sha. You can't compare yourself with others. Much respect, boss. |

Duplik8t77: any experience with lastma vio and the rest so far since you started bro. Have they tried to extort you? Lol Lasma, VIO? Not at all. But police? Yeahhhhh. 10k dropped from my pocket yesterday. LoL These policemen intention put the One-way symbol on an entrance of one street like that, very close to Bolade Oshodi. Be like they go cut small banner in circular form to make the O shape with the one-way symbol and paste in on one stick and put it ok the entrance of that street, there's no way you go see that sign where dem mount it. If you see the number of cars that got into the trap, omoh, those police go make millions yesterday only. Na their oga enter my car say make we drive to their station with plenty arrested drivers following as if we were on escort duty, When we got to their station, come see cars they arrested. That was a pure intentional trap - cos their oga dey charge between 20k - 15k for bailing, so that victims go pay easily. When we know the penalty for a real one-way offence. Come see as we dey pay to bail our cars comot, their oga dey collect money on the street openly and he was dipping the money in his pocket and release our keys as we dey pay. Him say na 15k me I must pay, I just beg am say I dey fast make him collect 10k - naso oga collected their 10k from me and put it in his pocket where people dey, I think residents of that area already know that's their dealings. I just zoomed to Allen, Ikeja and got a trip Iju ishaga, etc. I don't think there's a way one can avoid paying these people as long as you're a driver, there's just no way to avoid them. That's my only negative experience so far. |

ReadaDream: Pay your commission as you work, it's not that hard.
You really think Bolt will allow you work for a week without paying them?
See you, see cash trip restriction. Una go scatter person head for here. Some people say make I dey pay weekly, you say make I dey pay my commission on daily. Which one person go do now? Okay, since daily payment has been my choice from the beginning, I'm sticking to that. Much respect, boss. |

microlincoln: Thanks for this insight.
I like your progress these few days into the biz. I'm a newbie too.
As per the daily settlement of Bolt's debt, paying daily might be a burden and sometimes you may be stressed. So I suggest you make it weekly or you can even pay ahead on days you know you'll hit the road full time @the bold, thanks, boss. Okay, brother, I think I will be paying their commission weekly as per say some bros don tell me already. |

Felicity0001: I'm not sure if the "allow new request" features on bolt works like it does on Uber... Many a time I've tried it yet I still get incoming request. You can give it a try to see if it works otherwise accept all incoming requests even if you're on a ride or about to conclude a ride but make sure you check the request details very well before you accept it so you can decide weather you'll go on thw trip or not.
Now, if after accepting the trip and you'd like to go on the trip tell the rider to be patient that you'll be there in a gefee otherwise tell them your current rider is still riding.
This Bolt DS won't stand the test of time because it's only a matter of time b4 they block 45% of their drivers and this will give space for Uber and indriver to take the market from them. One brother here told me what to do and it is working. New orders don't come in until I am totally done with the active riders. And yes, boss, the driver's score no go well with this bolt, na when I entered the hustle I totally understand you bosses anytime you make criticism. Person wey never enter am no go understand you people here. But all is well sha. Much respect, boss. |

Weekly may be a better option. However try to pay it by Thursday, so you don't get limited to card trips on the weekends.
Adding paying of commissions to your daily stress... Hmmm! If you feel it's the better option for you sha, go ahead.
